I've been visiting this lovely Tea Room with friends for over 20 years. I just wish there were more stars to give. Myself with friends or when I would attend one of our reenactment the Tea Room is where we chose to dine. We loved to go dressed in Mid 1800's clothes because we were transported for the evening back in time. From the ambience to the servings it has always been a joy to gather there. If I am planning to dine with friends the Tea Room is always my go to choice.

My husband and I visited The Old Farmhouse Tea room this past Saturday 2/10/2024. It was just the 2 of us out on a date. Our server Katelyn (not sure if that's how her name is spelled) wad VERY NICE and professional and walked us through everything. The food was great, the service was FANTASTIC, and she was kind enough to take a picture of us. We hope to visit again, and next time we'll try the dinner option? And try and bring some friends with us. THANK YOU for making our date a memorable one. 😊

Old Farmhouse Tea was the perfect little cozy retreat my friends and I were looking for this afternoon. Right down to the candle-warmed carafes, this quaint little treasure of a tea house delighted us with a delicious sampling of scone bites, comforting homemade soup, finger sandwiches, fresh fruit & salads, made-from-scratch desserts, and charming servers. The atmosphere had such a homey vibe, and we couldn’t believe how reasonably-priced our experience was. Highly recommend, and look forward to coming back!

This is a beautiful tea room. The owner has a heart of gold. They gave a lovely retirement tea dinner for a large group. It was a very nice tea.

From Missouri, had the pleasure of going with my PA BFF last week. It exceeded my expectations! Food was awesome, and absolutely loved hearing the stories and history of the house and surrounding area. Miss Sue is an absolute delight! I could listen to her all day! I have been to this tea room a handful of times with my family members. The time before this most recent time, I had just went through the pain of losing my pregnancy back in September 2021. I went to tea with my family and left the house for the first time in months since losing my baby. I stood up at the end of the meal and the lady said "Oh look who's having a baby" in reference to my stomach. while that hurt and had me devastated with the memory of the fact that I was no longer carrying a baby, I brushed it off thinking well she's just a little old lady. Bringing us to today, my family and I once again went to have tea and when I stood up at the end of the meal to go pay, the same lady said "You either gained alot of weight from all that food or we are having a baby". I immediately burst into tears and had to give my card to my aunt so she could go pay my bill so I could leave the building. I am usually a pretty confident plus size woman, but to have this happen twice now from the same person is just hurtful. I'm sure they get all kinds of people in all shapes and sizes so why draw attention to a plus size woman. Nevermind the fact that there was another group in the same room having tea as well. So this other group witnessed all this being said to me. And all she had to say was "awww I embarrassed her".... No lady! You didn't embarrass me. You hurt my feelings. You brought hurtful attention to a belly that I have from my children and from being cut open to bring them into this world. You also reminded me of the pain I felt when I lost my baby a year ago. Next time, if you're going to run a business, maybe talk to your paying customers with a little more respect.

The owner was very disrespectful to my neice, calling her fat in front of all the other customers.

Portions are small but EVERYTHING was amazing!!! Beautiful place and great staff.

I love this tea room. I've gone several times over the past 10 years. It's very quaintly decorated for each holiday or season. The China is always beautiful. Their various kinds of hot teas are wonderful! The butter brickle is fabulous! The food is always tasty. There is also a room in the back with all sorts of homemade canned goods for sale, gift baskets, trinkets and dishes. The owner, Sue, and her daughter, Hannah, are always very efficient and accommodating. It's a great place to go. As well, prices are set at a very good rate.

This is the best tea house by far!❤ My friends and I go here often,the food is great, atmosphere is warm and beautiful table settings. The owner and staff are so delightful ! Price is great! What a wonderful experience!!! The food and service were excellent!! Went with my family for my sister's birthday and we all left happy and stuffed! There are also many nice things to purchase as well. Such a beautiful place!

I visit with a group every other month and we are always satisfied with the delicious food, the service and all the lovely items you can purchase from Sue. Her gift baskets are beautiful and her canned goods are delicious and reasonably priced.

Lovely place very homey! The food and tea where wonderful and deciduous. It was very reasonably priced for what you get. While eatting we never felt rushed and felt as if we at a close friends house.

Large selection of tea. Food is always delicious. The staff is what really makes this place. The woman and her daughter who run this are so friendly and talkative.

I LOVE this place! The food is great, as are the prices. It's such a cozy house, decorated perfectly. Sue, the owner, is a gas! Hannah is great as well. They make homemade jellies, pickles, chow chow, pickled beets and other things, which are really good, plus the prices are ridiculously great! She has gift baskets you can buy for good prices. It's just a fabulous experience. I've been several times.

The Tea House is a perfect setting for a special occasion event. The staff was friendly, the room was lovely, and the tea was delicious. I wouldrecommend alerting them to food allergies or dietary needs prior to your event, as this was the only thing they didn't seem prepared for.

My Mom and I have been here many times together as well as bringing other’s along, too. I remember when I was a little one; I would get so excited to come here and I still do! Sue & Hannah are a delight. They give amazing service, are all around kind-hearted ladies, the list goes on. The food is outstanding! I have trouble picking what flavor of tea to get since there are so many options and so good! You do have the option to change it up to try other flavors which is nice. You will never leave here with an empty tummy because they are very generous with food. Great prices and beautiul atmosphere, too. I love the gift shop she has set up as well. I have nothing but positive feedback about The Old Farm House Tea Room. Highly recommend!

Everything was great, the owners were so kind and patient with my 5 yr old. The food was spot on.

If this is the Tea Room / Antique store that I think it is, I stopped here more or less at random on a motorcycle trip to pick up some loose teas for my wife who is a tea fanatic. Inside is really cozy, ornate, and feminine, and though I felt extremely out of place as man standing there in motorcycle leathers, the loose teas were really inexpensive and smelled delicious. The proprietor was very courteous and if I were travelling back this way with my wife, I would take her there for tea.

This place is amazing!! I felt like a princess having tea with the queen. Everything was delicious, fresh, & homemade. The home itself has so much history & charm it's dificult not to love this tea room!
