A little slice of paradise ran by a great family. The rooms are all unique and well taken care of. This is our third year of many staying here.

We had a wonderful visit to this historic inn! Accomodations were exceptional as was the staff. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was sublime (I still don't believe it was just Folgers)!

We had the pleasure of staying here, and it was such a beautiful experience. The hotel, the oldest in Michigan, is gorgeous. The rich history of it has been preserved by the owners in the form of old relics and pictures. The room we stayed in was cozy and thoughtfully arranged, and the breakfast we had was super tasty (I recommend the french toast with local maple syrup). My favorite part was, when you wake up, the sun rises over the bay and right into the room. I’ve never woken up more relaxed and at ease! More than anything, I adored the folks who run the place — as they run it with passion and enthusiasm I’ve never experienced before. We will definitely be back to this area and back to this Inn in particular!

We had a wonderful visit with Bruce, Angie, Tyler and Sarah at Old Mission Inn! Finding the Inn was a true stroke of luck, and their motto is absolutely true - although we entered as strangers, we definitely left as friends! The history of the Inn is rich and fascinating, and it is being lovingly restored by this beautiful family. For a great location, spectacular views, delicious breakfast, and a precious family who will become your friends, visit Old Mission Inn. We can't recommend it highly enough!!

Beautiful, quiet, and absolutely wonderful. We stayed two nights. The Inn exceeded all our expectations. Clean rooms, good food and genuinely friendly hosts. So much history to see and enjoy. We didn't want to leave and were looking for excuses to stay another day and night. We toured several nearby vineyards and the Old Mission lighthouse. What more can we say? The hosts, the Inn, and the location were all perfect.

My wife and I stayed for a short 3 day get away. Our first time here although we've stayed in traverse city many times. Highly recommend Old Mission Inn!! Very comfortable, and it felt like visiting close friends. The owners Bruce, Angie and Tyler (along with newcomer Sarah) were wonderful! They went out of their way to ensure your comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic! The large front porch made it very easy to meet other guests and share some wine in the evening. We look forward to a return visit!

Old Mission Inn has rustic old world charm. Our suite was charming, and very clean. It had been sanitized before we came with Covid protocols. We stayed in the Cherry Suite for 3 nights, it had all of the amenities we needed. Angie, Bruce & Tyler were exceptionally accommodating, warm & friendly. The breakfasts served were made to order & delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked again for next year.

We stayed here for 2 days several weeks ago and would love to have stayed longer! Angie, Bruce, and Tyler really do a great job making you feel more like friends than customers! They have done amazing restoration of this historic inn and incredible research on its history and that of the neighboring community. Breakfasts were made to order, and the dining area was a great place to get to know the hosts and other guests. A great front porch to relax on and enjoy views of the harbor and East Bay, a collection of hammocks under ancient shade trees, and a bonfire area that was another great spot to enjoy others' company. Great job! Can't wait to return!

An outstanding experience. The owners are committed to restoring the historical significance of this nearly 150 year old hotel. The rooms are individually designed and reflect periodic accuracy. The personalities of the owners and their desire to share their progress and future plans makes for a very pleasant visit. The stories surrounding the history of the hotel are enough to make the stop worthwhile!

Such a wonderful piece of history in this charming piece of Michigan. The owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the Inns historical legacy as they have continued to restore the Inn to as close to the original feel as possible. They have even gone to the great lengths of finding and bringing in an old telephone switch board from the 1800s! Old Mission Inn is the oldest B&B in Michigan but you'll still be welcome in this charming step back in time!

My wife and I have stayed here, but it's been a few years. Now planning next summer's getaways, and a return to the Old Mission Peninsula would not be complete without returning to stay in this charming inn - it's like stepping back in time, an experience that I highly recommend to anybody who loves antiquity and Michigan history. I remember the friendliness and warmth welcoming us from the moment we arrived. This historic, stately inn has chosen its owners wisely. Their love for this place is contagious and I look forward to returning soon!

Loved how the owners give you an immediate history lesson, and know your name. Also They are coni half trying to restore and preserve this Place! Pretty neat when it’s the oldest Inn in the area! Loved the bonfire chats and the breakfast was worth it! Get the waffles!!!

Having roots in Traverse City, and specifically on Old Mission Peninsula, I was thrilled to learn that this historic and beautiful property had been renovated. My husband and I just returned from a three-night stay at the Inn. Angie, Bruce and Tyler were the perfect hosts, and the accommodations were comfortable, offered countless amenities and were themed and decorated with attention to even the smallest detail. The breakfast menu is extensive, and everything is made to order. We can't wait to return!

Angie and her family make you feel welcome in this historic bed & breakfast. It's located on Old Mission Peninsula within short driving distance of the wineries of Old Mission Peninsula plus a short driving distance to Traverse City. The breakfast served is delicious and filling enough to get you going for all the activities that the peninsula has to offer. The difference is the personal touches that this B & B has to offer. We are repeat customers and likely will return

The Inn is run by wonderful people. I think that the only thing that I would add is that they have an old guest register showing that both Babe Ruth and Joe Louis stayed at the Inn. As a sports fan, that seems important to me.

We had a great experience at the Old Mission Inn. We were greeted warmly, had help with the luggage to our room and settled in nicely. Angie was a warm and inviting Innkeeper who also provided us with a limo ride to our restaurant and back for our reception dinner for a reasonable charge (1/2 the cost of a taxi). The breakfasts were prepared fresh when ordered and we would recommend the Belgian Waffle as it was delicious with its strawberries and whipped cream topping. They even had a nice camp fire in their spacious front yard one night as we returned and we enjoyed some social time with other guests. We would stay there again. Tom

I recently visited the Inn with my dad on a father son trip before I moved to start a new job. My father and I are frequent visitors to the Traverse City area, and I have to say this is the best place we have stayed at yet. The family is very friendly and accommodating. The setting is beautiful overlooking east bay. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing, perfect for a summer vacation. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be staying here again.
