We spontaneously went in on the way because it suddenly started raining. Happy coincidence. We stayed longer and enjoyed the fish soup. Best in years and the waiter César was a dream of politeness. Good thing it rained.

This review is for Joseph. An amazing waiter, who made our visit here so pleasant, I have to make my voice heard. The familiar feeling of a good bistro (with amazing food) combined with Joseph’s warmth and care.. it’s uncanny! We come here quite often, because the food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. But Jospeh… he elevated our experience more than anyone!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in South Beach. I could just eat here everyday. The menu is so incredible with healthy delicious flavorful variety of surf, turf and more. A great vibe and indoor/outdoor atmosphere with lovely staff and great service. Discovered the blackened shrimp tacos, seen in photo. Highly recommend the burger or blackened Mahi. Yum 😋

A hidden gem! Atmosphere and friendliness of the waitresses give it a five! But food.. OMG! Ten out of five! Try their grilled Calamari for starters, and tiramisu for dessert. I had pasta Gnocchi and my wife had fish, kiddo had fish and chips! All are amazing, Kudos to the chef, waitresses, owner and team!

I dont really know what happened to this place. I used to come here couple years ago and food was amazing especially steak mushrooms flatbread. Today I went and omg it was horrible. It tasted like it’s a week old no mushrooms at all steak was like plastic and suuuuper salty. Egg benedict same the muffin couldn’t be cut… very disappointed to see the quality going down.

Today we had a great server, I think he was from India he was a young guy, very kind. Its a pity that we were not able to sit and enjoy a meal as we walked away due to some miss communication from the blond girl who seated us. It started with that we got seated and we asked for a bottle of water due to the scorching heat today. My husband proceeded to order a coke to which the woman snarled that our server was coming. No server came. Then 2 men came that were seated by another hostess with dark hair, and the server came right out and got to order before us. We were waving and trying to get someone’s attention we got the mens servers attention (mind by this time we have been waiting for 20min no water). He then proceeded to get our server! Then we were sitting with lunch menus, and our server said lunch was over. By this time we were just so fed up so we left. No fun writing this review as the last review I gave you was a stellar one. Very unfortunate that the blond woman did a poor job by even notifying our server we had been seated, especially with lunch menus and making us wait for a long time.

Such a beautiful restaurant. It is so very well done up! Love the food and the service. Shakshuka, California eggs Benedict and crepes!!! The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Truly enjoyed visiting the restaurant. I didn't find any gluten free options but definitely check with the staff. They just might have it

Oliver's Bistro is one of the best location in West Avenue in the west heart of Miami Beach. The outdoor seating makes it very special and makes you feel like you are in the heart of a "Petite" Bistro in Paris or in any cute corner of any city in Europe. The staff is very friendly and professional. The managers Phil and Lady are excellent, very professional and very friendly. We love this place and we highly recommend it!

The best seafood soup very kind people

It is probably the best local restaurant around Miami Beach, especially for brunch and dinner. They have an amazing atmosphere, and as it’s located on West Ave, where mostly only locals, it makes it more joyful to visit this place and sit outdoors. The food is very delicious, the staff are very friendly, and honestly, none of my friends or family I took there ever complained.

We had lunch at Oliver’s Bistro and the food was great as well as the service. The terasse was a nice break from the Miami sun. Definitely recommend the fireball mule they had on the cocktail menu! All and all a great restaurant with great friendly service.

The worst restaurant in Miami. The general manager was so incredibly rude to us and we have been customers for years. Will never be coming back here. What a disappointment! Our friends won’t be back either.

The soup was good. However the linguine tossed in extra virgin olive oil was disgusting. It was dry,, only had a half of a small tomato, loaded in peeper flakes, which eating it became annoying How can you screw up one of the most simplest dishes to make?? It was a disappointing waste of money. I’m no chef, but my linguine with oil oil is delicious.

I don’t like the self-imposed 'gratitude tax' of 20% and undisclosed tax expenses.

Wow, I have been her several times over the last 10 years. In the past it had always been a great experience. Unfortunately Oliver’s has changed. The food is mediocre, the prices are reflective of 5 star restaurant (which is not Oliver’s), the service is great, but most irritating is that they automatically add a 20% service charge (just increase the food prices 20%) which is not obviously stated on the menu and then request a 7% additional gratuity. Not sure I will return.

While the calamari was a bit greasy, my Cobb salad was excellent and my cousins Texas burger was about the size of Texas. The Creme brulee had a nice crunchy top as well.

We had a 12 hour layover in Miami on our trip abroad. We had a lovely brunch on Xmas eve, we were grateful they were open (unlike the last 2 places we tried beforehand). I tried the sayulita cocktail (which was like a mezcal old fashioned) a white sangria, and the California eggs Benedict. The seating outside was great, covered (saved us from a rain shower) but beautiful breeze. My boyfriend had the Dutch apple pancake and the south point punch cocktail and a mimosa. The food was excellent! Fresh, flavors well balanced and good portions! Will come again when we are back in town!

Excellent orange/carrot juice and desserts. Server was attentive and excited about the food and drinks that we ordered and shared details about how they were made in-house.

We placed an order but the carbonara pasta tasted bad… so we went back to get a refund and the person who served us, I think it was the manager Lorena, she said her name was she went to the kitchen she spoke in Spanish thinking I didn't understand … the fact is that she was rude and tried to say that the pasta was normal when the taste was bad … apart from that, the pasta couldn't even be eaten, it was overcooked. She didn't even say an apology, or a solution just made the refund annoying. I have been going to this restaurant for almost 10 years and have never felt dissatisfied, there has always been excellent service and a very cheerful and friendly manager.

Great location in a quieter South Beach area. Dining experience was mediocre. The food was better. The ambiance was disturbed by a manager (Phil) who started to scream on the top of his lungs, seemingly trying to discipline one of the staff members behind the bar. Not professional at all based on his tone, volume of speech and profanities coming out of his mouth. Definitely not a team leader, zero people skills or emotional intelligence. We were observing him from our table with the rest of customers. He had zero clue and appeared enraged. This incident definitely impacted our willingness to come back. It was embarrassing to watch his coworkers (wait staff) to go around the dining room and apologize to every table for their “manager’s” inappropriate behavior.

Uber eats from these guys few times. Every time they mess it up, orders always very late. Staff arrogant on the phone.

The most perfect restaurant in all of Miami-Dade County. The food is reasonably priced (which is hard to find in this area). The staff are exceptional, the menu is HUGE and everything we ordered is delicious! Their portion sizes are generous as well and the food comes out so fast! You have to try the lobster ravioli! I am a customer for life! The only thing they don't have is ranch dressing! I wish they did!

Guys. I taste cheesecakes all around the world. But in Oliver‘s it’s definitely the best. But not only the cheesecake is amazing. The complete dinner is absolutely fabulous!! Service and the rest is 💯 too!!! Coming back „forever“ 🍾👍

Update: it’s not that I felt. You do violate ADA regulations. You deny Psychiatric Service dogs to be indoors. You assume “one is not handicapped enough” and only allowed to be outside. Our dog is a Service dog not an emotional support animal. Service dogs must be allowed to accompany their owner in all areas where the public is normally allowed to go. This includes both indoor and outdoor areas of a restaurant. Once the server asked “can I see the dog’s card/papers” I knew where this was headed. Even denying service if a dog isn’t wearing a vest or asking for papers could be a violation. The owner should receive training and train its staff before really upset visitors submit ADA Complaints to the Dept of Justice or notifies their local Civil Rights Commission.

This is definitely a restaurant I will be revisiting soon! The food couldn’t have been better and the staff were very friendly and helpful to meet my needs. 5 out of 5 without a doubt.

First time here and not impressed. Asked the server for brown sugar and had to ask again when coffee was cold because he forgot. Then everyone gets their order and I got waffles by itself (I ordered chicken and waffles) by the time I got my food right everyone was done eating. And tip included in the bill for mediocre service is very messed up. Food was not that great either. Chicken on the chicken and waffles didn’t have seasoning or salt, very tasteless. I didn’t even ask my party how their food was, after seating there watching everyone eat and your food comes last, last thing you want to do is ask how their food is. Not coming back again.

This place used to be great. Used to be. Got edamame, were stale and reheated and mushy. Server passes by every 15 minutes if you’re lucky so even if there is an issue with your order there is nobody to tell it to, nobody even asks anyway Previous visit here I got ketchup spilled all over my back and seat pillow , nobody even acknowledged or bothered to check on us, manager was too busy at the time belittling the waitstaff by the entry door. It’s really a shame this used to be such a great spot for locals..

This place is not dog friendly. I recently had an experience at this establishment that left me quite disappointed, particularly in terms of their policies regarding service animals. Contrary to the guidelines set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the venue denied indoor entry to a service dog. This not only made for an uncomfortable situation but is also a violation of federal law, which mandates that service animals must be allowed in public spaces and private businesses. The manager was very nice and tried to explain this was company policy and he was just applying it. This oversight not only tarnished my personal experience but raises serious questions about the establishment's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. Those relying on service animals for assistance have legal rights that must be respected, and failing to do so compromises the integrity of the business. I strongly feel that ownership needs to educate themselves and their staff on ADA guidelines to ensure that all patrons feel welcome and accommodated.

I love this restaurant! Service and food were excellent. The staff treated you like family and always very welcoming! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always delicious, staff quickly brought out your food, and they had an excellent menu selection. Portion sizes were big and food was affordable. I plan to go back every time whenever I am in town.

I go here all the time for a quick coffee, Bloody Mary, and mahi sandwich. Quaint little place to have high quality lunch. Breakfast food is also bomb.

Visited twice as convenient to our evenings, and the quality of food was extremely good. We had the same waitress both times, and she was a delight compared to other restaurants we visited in South Beech. Has a lovely atmosphere and ambience in the evening. Charming little place. Booking online the first time ensured we had a table inside. The second time visiting, we couldn't get inside immediately and frankly enjoyed being outside, although offered a table inside after a short time after arriving. Prices on par with the area. Would recommend. 👍

I had the most delicious gnocchi that I've ever tasted, creamy richness, melt in your mouth deliciousness! We also had their Key Lime Pie, also extremely delicious!

Reasonable price, good service, fresh quality of food. I ordered fresh Oj and Garlic flatbread.. the juice was really good. The flatbread was good, the garlic is really strong so if you’re on a date or worried about your breath- it’s really pungent. Definitely will try other things next time.

I visited Oliver Bistro for brunch and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The service was horrendous from the moment I walked in. The hostess barely acknowledged me and I had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated despite there being several empty tables. Once seated, our waitress was rude and dismissive, barely making eye contact with us. When our food arrived, I was disgusted to find a hair on my plate. When I brought this to the attention of our waitress, he rolled her eyes and huffed before snatching the plate away. He returned a few minutes later with a new plate, but there was no apology or acknowledgement of the hair. The food itself was mediocre at best and overpriced for the quality. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.The guy was short black hair with bracess.

I had the misfortune of dining at Oliver Bistro for brunch and it was a truly terrible experience. The service was absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. Our waitress seemed annoyed with us from the moment we sat down, sighing heavily when we asked questions about the menu. When our food arrived, it was clear that no care had been taken in its preparation. My eggs were overcooked and my toast was burnt. But the worst part was when I found a hair on my plate. I brought this to the attention of our waitress, but instead of apologizing or attempting to make things right, she accused me of putting the hair there myself to try to get a free meal. I was shocked and disgusted by her response. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had and I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment.

Oliver's is our Sunday brunch in Miami Beach since 2000, is just right across the street from our condo so needless to say we are always happy to be in the area. Like a fine wine it got better with time. Service is quick and the food it great. Ambiance is right to take it in slowly and just enjoy. We like the Dutch Apple pancakes which are decadent but oh soooo good. Calories don't count on Sundays. The rest of the menu is just as good as well. As is the coffee. Oliver's is still a great local spot.

Thursday, March 16th @ 10:30am Parking- street parking (I walked) Service was solid. The ambiance is amazing and inviting! I enjoyed my French toast. It was filling, savory, and a great portion size. (Did not photograph) My girlfriend loved her omelette. Be warned, they do not provide A la carte. She wanted a side of a single pancake but was told that she would have to buy the two pancakes and that they don't offer singles. I took away a star because of gnats. I understand live plants are great for the air we breathe but the fact that it attracts gnats is problematic while eating food. There prices on Yelp are not accurate to the menu prices at the restaurant so have that in mind while ordering. Great place to eat while in Miami.

Very extensive menu. Service is friendly but on recent visits has been slow. Don't be in a hurry. Food is good and drinks are good and worth some wait. Outside seating is nice and indoor is good as well. They do allow smoking outside which is a negative for me because you never know whom you will end up sitting next to. But overall I love the place and will continue to visit.

The place was really nice the waitress and the manager did everything correct but ......after dinner I wanted another drink so I went to the bar so I wouldn't bother the waitress since she was busy and the bar tender proceeded to over charge me for my drink . Which makes me think this place is a tourist trap since I told her I paid less at the table she pulled the menu out and when she went to look at the price the price was less then what she charged me but didn't offer to refund me the diff .

Great place for good bistro food. Had fresh sesame Tuna on a nicoise salad. Not our first time to this restaurant and never been disappointed. Their outdoor terrace is very enjoyable.

An excellent place. I loved. Delicious breakfast options, quite cheap compared to other places in the area, and very well attended. I chose the American breakfast and a coffee with milk. Includes toast, jam, and butter. You must choose if you want bacon or ham. If you are going to have breakfast, be careful not to have lunch.

This place is not dog friendly. For the first time in miami I’ve been turned down with my service dog. I showed the hostess my govt issued card for my dog and she refused service because I didn’t also have a service jacket. First I’ve never been asked at a restaurant in the city to show his card. But that’s fine. I had that. But that wasn’t enough for these folks as proof so I was refused service. Never going there

Pedimos spaguetti y pollo grillado. Algo básico porque cansados y con poco tiempo, realmente una desilusión. Los spaguettis pomodoro un asco incomibles. El Aperol spritzs mal hecho, totalmente sin sabor. Y la atención lo peor de todo. A veces puede que el chef tenga un mal día, pero la combinación con una mala atención es fatal. I’ve come here 1000x as I’m a local. Every bartender takes care of me well until today. I have always been told there was a local discount since Miami Beach for tourist is a 10x mark up. Today “dasha” was rude, cold, didn’t even say hi and when I asked for the discount I’ve always gotten she said “we don’t do”. I’ll never be back. As a bartender I can make my own drinks, I don’t need to spend $20 on a coffee just to be around rude bartenders. Pass.
