Great food, great vibe, wonderful atmosphere 😃

Stopped in for dinner during Geckofest. Great food and drinks. Our server, Jason, was the absolute best. We'll be back !

I was amazed with the quality of the food in a bar type establishment. I had grouper it was cooked correctly the sides were great. A nice surprise. However the decor is a bit old and needs a refresh. I recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Great spot but as with most places the margarita is not good and is sour mess. I wish these places would stick to basics and stop being cheap with ingredients

Went Saturday with my friends and three of us ordered the sliders (that were cooked very well done) as that was the special and they forgot all the toppings of mushrooms, bacon and cheese except for a few onion straws. the waitress tried to say it was in the meat which it clearly was not and we had to show her the piece of paper they had the special on as they were advertised as toppings not mixed in the meat. Brought out the toppings for only two of us. Food was disgusting needless to say. But the sangria was good. Waitress was nice also!

The atmosphere is awesome. The food is average. I always get the philly the meat its usually always great but this time it tasted like old meat. Very dissapointed. There onion rings and fries are THE BOMB

Sat outside and it was drizzling, they moved us in once they got an inside table, the server didn't seem bothered by having to move out of her section at all, very friendly. I ordered the loaded chips and the banana foster mahi mahi, both were great. Sounds weird, but I saw this on the menu and knew I wanted to try it. Didn't disappoint! Shared it with my girlfriend, she loved it too.

Been eating at O'Maddy's for several decades when visiting family in Gulfport. Always delicious with great service & daily specials. Already anticipating our next visit!

This is a diamond in the rough. I was expecting typical island style bar food and was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and quality of their fish tacos. A definite reslturn-to resturant for me.

O’Maddy’s Bar & Grille is our number one spot for dining in Gulfport. The atmosphere is what will draw your attention initially, but the food is the big win for us. We have been through most of the menu over several years and even with the diversity of choices they still deliver consistently great dishes across the board, every time. I’m still at the table eating and already looking forward to the next visit.

Crab cakes.. The BEST! Beef on Weck.. Better than Buffalo's!.. Beignet's... Better than N'Orleans. FOR REAL.! But that Rum & brown and sugar in that Banana's Foster Mahi.. Oh Hell yeah.. that went on everything. Including some Krispy Kreme doughnuts later. Service excellent. View.. just really peaceful & nice overlooking the bay. People watching... Most excellent.👌. People here are just friendly & NIZE!

A cool place to go have a few drinks and listen to some good music. Walls open to the elements right across the street from the bay.

I liked it but it smelled very bad

Tried the food for the first time here, it was okay but nothing to write home about. Wasn't a very good experience, one of the servers was rolling down and overhang and water was falling all over customers and he did not seem too concerned even when it was brought to his attention. Then another server we watched spray in aerosol cleaner on a table where people were sitting to clean the table, very unsanitary especially with people sitting there. Will probably not be back unfortunately.

I regularly visit this please. Reasonably priced drinks. Good menu but the crab cakes are the best for me

Our server/bartender seemed incredibly overwhelmed. She almost had a full bar and our section with some tables as well with no help. After we ate it took them about 20 minutes to bring us the check. I ordered a Caesar salad that was not good. How do you mess up a Caesar salad? Also, the entire bar smelled like a dirty mop. Everything about this places screams cheap owners.

Loved it, had a great time. Our server was great, and the food is delicious. It’s slightly expensive but they give you very large portions so it’s worth it

On the beach eating! Quaint little beach bar. Sandwiches and beer and mixed drinks. Servings were large! They were struggling a little with timing between seating and serving. No one came to the table to check to see if we needed anything. We'll give it another try but this was like 1 pm on a Saturday afternoon.

We stayed in Gulfport and was within walking distance so we ate there a couple times, once for lunch and once for dinner. I had the Grouper sandwich for lunch, it was awesome. I had the Jim’s Hammer burger , it was huge so if you order it you better have a big appetite, it was delicious as well. The service was great on both occasions . The boom boom shrimp was also awesome.

Clean and friendly place. After a day on a boat, the air-conditioning was a welcome retreat from the heat.. If you love blue cheese and salads, homemade blue cheeses was so good, I'd buy that by the gallon. We each had different things, and all was delicious.

Enjoy the live music especially when Tony Wagner plays on Thursday nights and invites other great musicians to join him!

We had a girl's outing for my birthday and we stopped here. Non of us were able to eat everything in one sitting as the portions were that big. Wasn't a fan of the coleslaw a bit to chunky/ wasn't wet enough/ not enough flavor but every other item that was made was to perfection! Everyone was super friendly and place was just a nice relaxing easy spot to eat at.

I usually love the food here but last night was a wasted $30.00. I got Loaded Irish Chips and cheese sticks to go. If I had been given that food at a table, it would have gone right back to the kitchen. I wish I'd looked before I left. Both dishes were so over fried they tasted burned. They forgot the gravy and only one cheesestick had any cheese it. $30 for 2 appetizers that were inedible. No excuses, your fry cook last night basically ripped me off. ~ longtime Gulfport resident and frequent flier at O'Maddys.

Bartender lady was rude and they gave me raw fish smh. What a waste of money. Update. It was today in the afternoon. The bartender was wearing blue jeans short with a blue t-shirt I think. I had already payed and left the establishment. That’s when I realized the fish wasn’t properly cooked.

Lived out in the Bay on my sailboat came to show often to grab a hot meal. Very good quality, amazing staff, water front atmosphere. Highly recommend sashimi tuna. Great customer service

Best beach bar with food in Gulfport

This was my first visit..they only had outdoor seating and it was packed but we ended up at a nice table overlooking the water! The server was quick and very friendly. I had the best salmon salad I think I've ever had! And my friend had very nice shrimp tacos. Will be back!

The food was good and the service was slow.

The food is just average. If it weren't for the atmosphere and the good weather, I'm really not sure I would have had such a positive experience. Some dishes are fairly priced, while others are VERY overpriced, so take a good look at what you order (for example, the crab cakes are $33 for two small ones).

Every time we come down to Florida we stop here. It's a great balance of a Bar and Restaurant. Food is fairly priced for the area. Taste damn good. They have live music most nights. Just a fun environment. Staff is attentive and friendly. 2 thumbs up 👍🏾 👍🏾

Took my mom here for lunch on Mother's Day. She had the salmon cakes which were on special and I got the grouper sandwich. I am going to say that $25 is a little bit more than I'm used to paying for the same grouper sandwich at other restaurants. Thankfully it was quite good.

My daughter brought me here for Mother's Day and it was very fun. We played out door games and had a beer by the bay. We did not eat any food, had only beverages.

Beautiful location. For a place with an Irish name, I expected to see more items that I ate in Ireland on the menu, but the food that they did have was good. I enjoyed the lobster BLT. The cucumber salad isn't what you would expect a cucumber salad to be, but it's still good. We had a large group and we THINK some of us ended up paying for other's orders, but we have no idea because we weren't shown itemized receipts before we paid. Which is bad customer service and definitely necessary for large groups.

Some of the BEST food in Gulfport, from the wings to the sandwiches (cheesesteak was amazing) I highly recommend this establishment! I can’t remember our waitress name but she was super sweet and made us feel at home

Really fun place with good food. Bar tenders are so nice and attentive and make great drinks. We had the garlic parm wings and shrimp caprese. Both were yummy but in my opinion everything, including the very good blue cheese dressing, needed salt. Once we added it to all the things everything was great. This was our second time there and we had a great time. Will definitely come back the next tome we are in this part of town.

Everything on the menu is delicious. I usually get the awesome Salmon salad. Hubby get the Philly cheesesteak. We have tried most items. The waitstaff is attentive & kind!

Great experience. We had the grouper nuggets and fries I believe. Excellent. No issues great view great service great food. On a beautiful day. With my beautiful gf. Highly recommend. Every dish that went by looked delightful.

O'Maddys is a super popular local bar/eatery. Locals gather for the good food, great scenarie and fun atmosphere. Weekly Karaoke and all around "easy going" vibe, make this a great place to relax and enjoy anytime.

Excellent live music food and service are great

The food was delish. Only reason for 3 star on atmosphere is we ate inside because I had visitors who did not want to be out in the sun even under cover. I love the deck and sidewalk area and even bar area. We had a handicapped person with a walker, and the handicap entrance from outside was tight. People at 2 different tables by the door had to get up so my guest could get by. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Our waiter was great. Any meal to me with their roast beef is excellent. The waffle potatoes yummy. Fish sandwich great, too. There is a much more fun atmosphere outside, too. I love the music. Wish there were times when we could add space to thar dance floor!

I loved everything about this place! We stopped here after our Costal Cruises tour and had lunch. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was so fun and nice right next to the water. I highly recommend!

My daughters turkey sandwich was awesome the wings and the buffalo shrimp are delicious my salad was ok service was slow at first then it picked up the music was way to loud so all in all everything turned out good

O'Maddy's is a consistent gem in Gulfport

The venue, food and drinks were over the top excellent but unluckily we had a server that was terrible. After ordering our food we never seen him again until we finally asked someone to get the manager. We ordered our food and others brought the food out and we never seen our server. We even asked another server to tell our server that we needed drinks and he came back and said he couldn't find him. The manager came out and was very apologetic and extremely nice. We will go back but will definitely ask for a different server.

Super dog friendly(we had 3), amazing food, and Becca was the best server. We will 1000% go back to see her and let her know where our apartment hunt led us.

This is a happening place. Always full of characters. Food is delicious, service is slow. atmosphere is fun. typically there is a bamd playing....this is a loud environment but fun.

Love this place!! The grouper nuggets were so yummy! The guys next to us got the roast beef sandwich and it looked incredible. We got salads that were very good and refreshing! Live music was great. Bar was open seating. Will be back!

We dropped in to watch the Illini play and staff was gracious enough to put the game on the TV in front of us while we had great cocktails and dinner. Would highly recommend for a casual, fun night out.

The sandwich that I got was delicious. Well worth money.

After a day of fishing, our captain recommended this place as one of his favorite spots for hook & cook. Now we know why! Chef Thomas took our fresh black tip shark and created a delicious blackened shark bite appetizer for the table. We followed that with jumbo buffalo shrimp and some burgers. I highly recommend the Ron's Hammer, a burger with shaved roast beef and horseradish, and one of best sandwiches I've ever tasted. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. Don't miss out on this little gem on the water.

I was so spoiled for choice, everything was so good. I’ll have to come back to try more of the menu. There’s a beautiful view of the bay and the shots were a generous size. Thank you Jason for the excellent experience.

Always a great spot. Some bozos failed to show up for their 10-person reservation so we had to wait a bit even on a Monday. I usually get the grouper but tried the Beef on Weck and it was excellent.

Saw some great music absolutely loved the shrimp wrap I got and the service was spot on. It’s a must go to when in Gulfport!
