Hosted my daughter’s 21st birthday here. The party space was perfect. It was a beautiful day & the outdoor space allowed guests to enjoy the beautiful weather. The staff was wonderful as well, super helpful & accommodating. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Really pretty place. Stopped here on our way home from a winery on a Saturday night. Drinks were way over priced. Nice live music.

My husband and I hosted our Friday night welcome party for our wedding weekend at Orange County Distillery, and it was a hit! The space was beautiful—we didn’t end up having to decorate at all—and the staff were so helpful leading up to and during the event. They even lit some fire pits outside for us so we could enjoy the front yard despite the chilly weather!

Just attended a wedding here. The cocktails are handcrafted and amazing. Beer is excellent too. Amazing atmosphere and views.

Went on a beautiful fall Sunday around 2pm and the bar staff was clearly pretty intoxicated. My drink was incorrect, over-poured, and undrinkable. Plenty of more polished establishments in the area, and with a sober barstaff too!

12oz or smaller beer pours into plastic cups; non listed prices vary from bartender to bartender...

Awesome drinks , view , staff & vibe. Only complaint would be to have some kind of hand-held menu, there are menus all over the walls but it would be nice to have all the options in one place instead of trying to get a good view of the walls - also they will do mocktails , wish that was on the menu. All in all a great spot & the food truck had great food, highly recommend!

This is one of our favorite local places to enjoy a wonderful cocktail and beautiful views. They usually have a food truck available and live music. We love this spot during any season and we're lucky to have something this wonderful so close to home!

Used this space for a retirement party and it was awesome. The green grass, the low key feel, it was great. Service was kind and drinks were tasty!

The products here (beer and the distilled spirts) are very good. However my wife and l only come here when Smokin Buddy Steve is singing and entertaining everyone here. The staff is very knowledgeable and Tom who supplies and sells his cigars here supports the Veterans community

Drinks were great, nice knowing all poured drinks are made with local alcohol. Wait for the drinks was a little long. Food wasn't that good especially for the price.

Such a great day adventure- the view is gorgeous. We visited the horses across the street. Tried the jalapeño drink— super spicy. Went to the grapefruit cocktail after so refreshing. A local band was playing. Good vibes. Will be coming back!!

Love love love this place!! The atmosphere and location is absolutely beautiful. Perfect for sunsets. Great drinks and food, and friendly staff. You can sit outside and look out to the gorgeous sunflower field, that you can also pick from, or sit inside the barn which has an upstairs also! Will definitely be going back. I can't wait

Attended a wedding / going away party here this past weekend. The decor throughout the place was so cute. There is a little food truck outside but since we had food provided inside, I did not partake in that. Tons of fire pits and fire places. Upstairs has a section full of couches and tables. The employees were all very friendly and attentive at the bar.

I highly recommend Brown Barn Farms! My wife and I had a great time.there yesterday. The live music was excellent with a new local performer Joe Benoit playing an awesome playlist! Enjoyed some great drinks in an awesome country atmosphere. Brown Barn is definitely one of the best places that I’ve been to in Orange County.

Very nice, clean and personable. I visited to celebrate a baby shower, the venue has a large list of drinks which they make themselves. Plenty of land and seating. A food truck was on site, and parking.

A cozy warm and welcoming place. Some very good cocktails Beer and Cider is hit and miss. Great food truck outside that does a superb job have always enjoyed the meal.try the cocktails-he burns wood with a blow to itch and catches the smoke in the glasses then pours the bourbon in -tasted great

Yeah we had a great time here on a Friday afternoon. No mask by staff but we don’t care. It’s very open and air flow is great. You can spend the rest of your time in the lawn with live music right after your drinks. Live music according to the bartender is Friday and Saturday night only and they are really good. They were playing 90s cover and we had lots fun. There are firepit and Adirondack chairs with picnic table. We got there around 5pm and the crowd is pretty thin. Service is good. We ordered a specialty cocktails and got that on instagram. Overall it’s fun chatting with human after COVID. Every customers mind to their own table and it’s pretty distanced. Price is decent and I heard something about their happy hour which we need to go back to find out. Food is limited and don’t think about vegan. They are mostly burger and fries and wings from a food truck. We weren’t hungry for those. Also leave your drink and food at home. This is not a byob place. The scenic lawn is what the hype about for this place. On a good day, you get to overlook the whole plain and maybe a great sunset.

Small locally owned distillery with food truck outside, cocktails, draft beer, wine and more. Pets allowed in the garage area (indoor) on the first floor! Keep in mind that you MUST purchase food in order to purchase drinks (bottles purchases do not require this). Staff was friendly and overall great experience!

Yummy food truck, surprisingly comprehensive drink menu all distilled in house or locally procured. Will visit again.

Really great spot. Rustic, authentic, and they distill their liquors in-house, from growing the product on their 5th generation farm, right to the bottling. Great people too. Highly recommended!

Poorly organized, long wait times & over priced. Must stand in line to purchase food, then in another for drinks. The grounds are only saving grace. No competition during COVID.

Great drinks at great prices. Love the outdoor seating. We brought our own camp chairs. Everyone is being respectful of social distancing. The perfect weather is also a bonus making this an awesome experience. Nice clean bathroom indoors too.

One of my favorite places to grab a drink with a great delicious burger & fries. I have OCD for the OCD. Take one to go too! The sunflower fields are a fun post-drink/eat adventure.

Great place to relax and unwind

I can't wait to go inside. I have tried their food truck outside and then sat in their picnic tables. I really wish they were open more often. And can you imagine if they place some outside arts in those fields? It is a cool concept as it is. The greenery is lovely and their veg stand and food truck addition is a plus. 👌👌👌

Really friendly bartenders, awesome drinks and liquor, and a great atmosphere. Stay downstairs and watch a band play live, or go upstairs to the loft to get cozy on a couch and play some board games. This place is a nice little gem in the scenic middle of nowhere.

I LOVE brown barn the ambience, the views, the drinks are amazing. BUT, today my husband and I went there to get food and some drinks and the guy at the food truck said he wasn't selling food for two hours, that he was catering an event. I think the situation could have been handled much better. Possibly do your catering before the hours you are open? It put a damper on the mood and we left because of it. I just don't understand why you would be catering when you're supposed to be open to ALL customers not just your catering customers. Maybe a sign next time?

The bartender Nick was a wizard. I can't recommend this place enough.

I love going to this place. Amazing array of local made spirits. Staff is the best. Always super helpful. We visit this place every chance we get. I cannot hype it enough. Always an enjoyable time. New food truck is awesome too.

A destination. Friendly staff. Nice location. Live music. Comfortable couches and chairs. Plenty of nice Instagram able moments. Food truck. Whiskey, Bourbon and Rye craft cocktails on par with City but locally grown and distilled. Prices fair. One suggestion for them... Buy your standard Double Old-Fashioned Glassware. The glasses they use are tiny. Feel like sample glasses (don’t fill hand well - see attached pic). I’ve never been served whiskey drinks in small glassware like that.

Excellent craft cocktails... on level on NYC, but in much more comfortable/relaxed environment. Love the wood stoves in the side room... cozy even in worst winter temps. Also the side room is nice if you want to enjoy ur live music but want to also talk with friends without having to shout. Food truck outside has a few decent munchies but this place is a score for the drinks and the chill vibe more than anything else!

Brown Barn Farms has always been a fun and inviting place for our band to play. The atmosphere is great! There's craft beer, cider and wine from local vineyards and breweries! They also have a great food truck to satisfy your cravings.

Prepare to spend time at this unique venue!! Each cocktail is very thoughtfully handcrafted by their master mixoligist... and worth the time taken to make it perfect. The staff is accommodating and friendly... and the brown barn has a warm, welcoming ambiance during all seasons. There is also an AMAZING food truck preparing gourmet comfort food! This place is an absolute hidden gem in the black dirt district. Do. Not. Miss. Out.

A lot of drink choices. If you are into whiskey they are all good. I really liked the rye whiskey. Also there is a food truck in that lot that was good. We were able to sit around a nice fire outside.

This place is in middle of nowhere but that’s OK. Very homey atmosphere and I appreciate that they include beer with the harder spirits. Love the loft in the barn. The layout needs a little work but otherwise pretty good

So great! Hudson Valley charm at it's finest. Drink prices are on the higher end but you're paying for hand crafted quality and beautiful ambiance. - - Drinks: Hand muddled cocktails with unique ingredients like hemp infused vodka and elderberry liquors + sample of Hudson Valley's best breweries like Rushing Duck, Newburgh Brew, Glenmere, + local wine ($12 cocktails, $6+ beers) Atmosphere: rustic reclaimed barn with pub style tables, pellet wood stoves, lofted lounge with couches + outdoor spaces + live music Food: excellent food truck on grounds. I had the chicken panini ($8) - it was great. My friends raved about the burger with OCD sauce ($12)

One of my favorite places in Orange County to spend time relaxing at or performing music. Upstairs lounge now complete and fire pits surround the barn. A great staff awaits you inside with finely crafted cocktails featuring their own spirits. A must visit place!

Orange county distillery has some great choices of their homemade spirits. We tried some vodka, bourbon, and a scotch style whiskey. Nice bar a very comfortable loft and spectacular grounds. A great place for private partying. They offer food live music and apparently several fire pits at dark. A great family place.

Great flights and delicious cocktails

We sampled all of their drinks there for about $15. The gin and their whiskey were amazing. I could drink them neat all day. Staff was extremely courteous. Beautiful location and great drinks. My favorite place in the area right now.
