Found this hidden jewel by smelling something good outside of my hotel and following my nose Amadeus was welcoming and friendly. The other patrons at the bar considered themselves friends to him and the others and put me on to a couple other neighborhood specials. Food was delectable, flavors bursting forth as well as subtle undertones. Definitely someplace to come back to for the food as well as the atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, great service and great Tiramisu. I will definitely returning here.

This wine bar is fantastic. Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday and for the occasional wine dinner. The owner is super welcoming and his team work hard to make your visit great. Great wine selection and for wine dinners amazing food. I recommend you stop in for a drink. It won't disappoint. Feels like the neighborhood bar we all wish we had.

Y’all this is THE PLACE! Where your bartender is your wine menu. Becca is our favorite and she always gives us a wine we love. We usually come here for some Italian wine but we finally ate here as well. We had the cheese ravioli and the drunken pasta special which was AMAZING (and only made once a year). You’ll never go wrong at this place, we almost hate giving our local secret away!

Stopped in as part of the little Italy walking tour. This was the last stop and the sample was desert. Fantastic! The place was relaxed, old school Italian restaurant. We ended up hanging out for a couple hours after the tour for drinks and conversation. Definitely a must stop in if you are close to little Italy in Baltimore!

It's been one of my favorite small osteria's to visit for almost 10 years! Always a great time with excellent food and drinks. Very easy to talk to the owner and have a glass of wine with him. Highly recommended.

I love this little hole in the wall with all my heart, and go have a drink whenever I'm fortunate enough to find them open for service. I'd take advantage of this low-key bar for a drink or a dinner date. Staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh since they don't serve throughout the week. Also a great wine and liquor selection to boot.

Lived across the road from Little Italy until just a few weeks ago, it is hard to imagine having somewhere more special right on your doorstep. Lovely friendly atmosphere, excellent well priced food. What more could you want? Miss you!

I had such a warm and welcoming time at this quaint spot in Little Italy. The food was enjoyable, the wine selection was amazing, and the service was stellar. Had some time to chat with the owner and also my bartender, and it was obvious this restaurant has a strong presence with the group of regulars who make this their "Cheers." For someone traveling on business, this was fun to see! Definitely will be back here on my next trip through Baltimore.

Not bad but if it were in Italy they would have the exact same clients (americans). It would be nice to have an authentic Italian restaurant in Baltimore like we do authentic latino restaurants. I guess that would require a population of authentic Italians.

I probably would never have thought to visit this place had it not been for a food tour. The staff was incredibly friendly and we enjoyed the laid back vibe. The dessert we had as part of the tour was fantastic and the menu looked a treat. Definitely plan to visit properly some time soon!

The food here is absolutely top notch! We discovered this place when trying to find new restaurants, and we just keep coming back. The selections are always amazing with great options. Appetizer and salads are always great for starters. There wine selection is great as well. I am not a big wine drinker, but they always have a wine that I greatly enjoy. Plus the 2 ladies who are always behind the bar are great! The service is awesome and a great conversation as well. I can’t recommend this place more. A must to visit in Little Italy!

The ambiance is wonderful! The owner is welcoming and the bar tenders are terrific. Did I mention how great the food is? Well, it's so tasty I've dreamed about it. I'll add that the prices are very reasonable. It attracks a nice crowed creating a fun place to talk and relax.

My friend and I stopped in for a drink after the Charm City Food Tour of Little Italy. If definitely recommend a stop here. It had just opened when we arrived so it was pretty empty. The staff was friendly and the service was good. We stayed about an hour before heading back toward the harbor area. We had some nice wine and it was happy hour so the prices were great. A great place to stop for a drink especially after the Little Italy food tour.

Me and my wife have been coming here for years. The best wine bar/bar in Little Italy. Amedeo is most hospitable and is a great person. He has the perfect menu to go along with your beverage of choice. Some of the finest Italian wines, meats, cheeses, olives, etc. This is a must if you are anywhere near little Italy or the inner habour. Plenty of parking a block away at the Iittle Italy parking garage. Definitely a place to visit.

This is not high end Italian but it is good Italian that seemed fairly authentic. Also, can't beat the prices. I had a gnocchi special that came with a small ceaser salad for $15. The cocktails were also reasonably priced. My only complaints are that the ceaser salad came sans croutons and that the restaurant refused to split our checks despite us asking nicely ahead of time. Overall, I liked it more than the fancier Italian place that I went to the night before where I paid twice as much.

You are insane if you don’t try this place. Literally. Fresh. Prepared perfectly. Well balanced & subtle spices...and if not the best cannoli I’ve ever had, it’s damn close.

Very nice place combining wine bar with a small restaurant. Location is in Small Italy but away from tourist crowds, only about 7 minutes walking from the Hyatt Place hotel on S Central avenue and about 20 minutes from Inner Harbor. They have one daily special (dinner menu) and bar special. The dinning room is in the back with 8 or so tables, candelights and a fireplace (electric through). Wine selection is superb, from heavy bodied to really light, all Italian. The nice pairing italian antipasto (good selection of ham, prosuto and several cheeses with olives).Prices are very reasonable - antipasto, 2 main dishes with tiramisu and a bottle of wine will set you for about $65 (excluding tips). Please note that there is no dedicated parking so just walk. Highly recommend if you be in/around Inner Harbor.

Siempre me ha gustado llevar amigos aquí y simplemente relajarme con un par de copas y algo de buena comida casera. Las personas que he conocido han sido excelentes y Amedeo es un dueño de negocios muy encantador que se ve obligado a hacer todo lo posible para asegurarse de que todos tengan una gran experiencia. Love this little place! I havent tried the food yet, but the wine selections are good while reasonably priced. Staff are friendly in a genuine way with no overly-nice fake smiles. Definitely going back.

I love the monthly wine and dinner pairings!! It's a great way to try dishes and wines I otherwise wouldn't and everything is always well prepared. They even offer a raffle to win more wine! You can't beat that :) The service is top notch too.

Fuimos tres veces, dos veces como un bar antes de que nos dimos cuenta de que no la comida. Bill el barman era genial, unas sugerencias sobre vino y grappa! El menú es corto pero la comida es excelente, simple ingredientes bien cocinados. Pruebe los platos antipasti, las vegetarianas con la berenjena ahumado es el mejor que he probado.

It was pouring rain when we dove in off the streets of Little Italy, finding ourselves in a quaint Italian Restaurant, with a full wine bar. All wines are from Italy, we had a tasting with cheese and olives. Like most "northern" cities the conversation is yours to make, but once you make it, the bar staff is very friendly knowledgeable and funny. Looks lile they are loosing our bar tender to Austin Texas, sad because he really does know the city ( Baltimore) and is full of recommendations for places to go and sights to see. Nice place to set out the rain.

Stopped in here while wandering around the city. The pasta was pretty good and the drinks were a fair price. The best thing about this place was the people working there. The bartender was wonderful and helped us find other stuff to check out in the city. The place was full of regular locals who were friendly and full of knowledge.

Osteria 's Amedeo. It's what one would call Little Italy's hidden gem or a best kept secret. They serve wonderful small plates that are incredibly reasonably priced. (eggplant and olives to die for) Their menu (other than the small plates) has just one fresh daily special. Craft cocktails and specialty beers to wash it all down with. Last but not least, you can buy carry out beer & wine until 1am! Owner Amedeo knows his customers by name and stops by the tables to see how your evening is going. Among the neighborhood locals, this is a favorite spot.

Ok, I stopped in this place after having dinner for a night cap. In town from Minneapolis and love the neighborhood bar and Amedeo did not let me down 😊. Great service, the locals were welcoming and hilarious and the pour was awesome 😁thank you Amedeo!!!

A terrific Italian restaurant and wine/cocktail bar! Dinner and drinks were delicious! Homemade soup and pasta dishes to please the palate, with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service! Reasonable prices too! Will definitely be dining here whenever we visit Inner Harbor Baltimore!

We had a truly great meal and drinks here tonight. We will definitely be her next visit here! My shrimp fra Diavlo and pasta soup were excellent! My wife's chicken, eggplant, and caprise salad was so good, she raved about! The cocktails were delicious, and terrific wine choices made the night a total success#

This little gem was exactly what we were looking for on a recent Saturday evening before a show at Pier 6. Yes, you can have a light but delicious meal in Little Italy. We dined in an intimate room with the original exposed brick and received excellent and attentive service. Among the four of us, we each had something different ranging from a salad to a main course and all of us were happy. Amedeo warmly visited us at the table and offered some very nice complimentary desserts. We will certainly be back to this special little place

We have know Amedeo since before he opened the Osteria. I cannot think of a better person to run this business. He is without a doubt, the nicest, most welcoming person we have ever met. We live over an hour away, but make special plans to stay overnight in a hotel, JUST TO COME HERE. We mostly drink at the bar, have some snacks sometimes, but the atmosphere is like being "home" every time. WE are always in a better state of mind after a visit. Love all the bartenders, but it's always a treat to see Amedeo and his lovely wife Mary. When daughter Rebecca is around, it is like a family reunion. Many of our Baltimore friends are ones that have patronized here and that is how we met them. We only wish there were more places in the country like this. Reminds us of the small, family-type bars we visited in Italy.

We stopped in at Osteria Da Amedeo during a recent visit to Little Italy and loved it! This is the perfect neighborhood bar. The owner and staff are very nice and welcoming, the ambience is good, and the wine selection is lovely. People from the neighborhood kept wandering in to say "hello." Even though we were tourists, we were made to feel completely at home. One of the things that I liked best about this place is that you can create a flight of four wines ($12) from any wine-by-the-glass offerings. We did a mix-and-match red and white flight. The owner serves the flight on a chalk board-type holder, and passes you a container of chalk markers to draw. It's such a simple thing, but we had so much fun doodling, sipping wine, talking to the owner and another bartender, and watching World Cup soccer. We were stuffed from a big lunch, so didn't try the food. It looked like good, light fare.

This is one of the best bars in Little Italy. It reminds me of one of the old corner bars where you could go for a drink and end up making new friends. The owner and staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Formerly known as Pepino's, the interior has been nicely remodeled and a food menu has been added. Great place to have a few drinks with your friends or family.

Amedeo's offers a fine selection of wines and other drinks. The sandwiches and desserts are excellent. If you are looking for a warm, friendly bar with lighter fare, I recommend Amedeo's. One of my dining companions calls it the "Cheers" of Little Italy, where all the locals hang and where everyone knows your name.
