The name doesn't begin to do this restaurant / trattoria justice. Osterias are historically wine bars that have evolved to serve simple meals. There is nothing simple about the food or it's elaborate presentation. All excellent. The Chef is highly personable and interacts throughout your meal with you. To me, he was the Italian version of Ratatouille. Warm, inviting and serving great food. They do not serve hard liquor, only wine, and dinner is by reservation only. Bon appetit!

First like to say thank you to Dillon our server that expressed great attention to detail and oriented us throughout every thing. Not just the food expressed love in each plate of perfection. The moment i started to eat my salad I had to take my phone out and schedule my next visit. True hidden Gem located in our back door. From begining to end truly best experience. This hidden of a place was amazing. The service, the food everything was so good and well worth it. Would definitely recommend adding on the table side prepared Caesar salad Great addition.

The pistachio trout was amazing! Coupled with the brandy cream sauce over a bed of pasta and the perfectly prepared zucchini with onion. Delicious. One of the best meals I've ever had. A wonderful blend of flavors. Topped it off with the Venetian pastry. Superb dining experience. The owner, waiter, and staff are attentive and accommodating. Great evening. Highly recommend.

This is not your spaghetti and meatball place! This is your go to Northern Italian hearty and wonderful Northern Italian cuisine. Our whole family ordered 3 different items that were all spectacular. Veal = spectacular. Pappardelle osso bucco = awesome! Pappardelle Bolognese = Better than Firenze restaurants. House apps served table side. Ceaser salad made at table side. Beautiful crafted wine menu. Save room for dessert and share. Sit down and enjoy the best service you can experience! Come with an appetite.

Great first experience. We’ve wondered about this place with the great reviews and very unassuming building for some time - and tonight my wife surprised me with a visit on my birthday! The staff here are incredibly friendly and all involved with each table’s meal. I believe we interacted several times with at least 5-6 employees. It’s a little unusual to have different people showing up at your table telling you about various specials, serving individual courses to you from a serving dish, etc. but they make it work. (They also sung happy birthday to me 😂) Our meals were delicious and I believe all made from scratch. It’s one of those places where you want to try everything on the menu, but you probably can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. The menu is relatively small, which is probably how they’ve perfected and made everything so great. It’s pricey but worth it - you get what you pay for, in a good way. So it’s not a cheap, casual dining experience - but highly recommended for special occasions. The dining room is small and they only take reservations, so be sure to call/plan ahead. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were all among the best we’ve had in Flagler County and we can’t wait to go back and try more menu items. Highly recommended - try this place soon, you’ll be glad you did.

If you live within 100 miles of this establishment, you must check it out. The personal touch to the presentation, service, attentiveness, flavors and care is like nowhere I have ever dined. Absolutely blown away with tonight's experience! Can't wait to return!

Food was gorgeous, and presentation was fabulous, but the flavors didn't really come together for me on this visit. I could see it being a really great night for some, but for the price ($$$-$$$$) made me expect more.

Cute little spot with great food and service. Taking a star for the chef coming out repeatedly to explain dishes or chat with guest but continually ignored our table. With only 5 tables occupied it's hard not to notice you are being ignored / steered clear of.

We loved Osteria Rustica. My husband and I went 2 nights in a row while in town. The food was perfection. It is a small intimate setting with a knowledgeable staff. Our waiter Dillon was attentive, made suggestions and answered questions with a smile. Table side salad preparation was an added bonus. From pasta bolognese, seafood stuffed ravioli, veal topped with zucchini and fresh mozzarella in a light tomato sauce to a Devine chocolate desert everything was delicious.

So lovely! We called too late to get in on a full evening and I have never been let down more kindly and charmingly. I can't wait to call and visit the next time we come to the beach!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Florida. I live 3 hours away and have not been able to go back in about 2 years, but every time I went there I was always delighted by all of the house creations. This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere! The food has the best ingredients, it is always so fresh and perfectly cooked. They also have the best limoncello I have ever tried. Would love to come back this summer! Much love to Floriano and all the staff that has always treated me so kindly.

This restaurant is absolutely the best of the best. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are missing out. The food is amazing! We were recently there for our anniversary. You feel like you are eating in a quaint restaurant straight out of Italy. The server Dylan is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine. He always makes us feel so welcome. Caleb was also very kind and took care of our every need. All the ladies assisting are amazing as well. Everyone of the staff are extremely kind and professional. We really enjoy it when the owner/chef, Floriano, comes out to greet the guests. He has such a great sense of humor. There’s no other restaurant that can beat this little diamond in the rough. An Awesome Dining experience! We enjoyed it from the moment we walked in the door.

Unfortunately cannot rate food or service. However, I tried several times to make reservation at this restaurant. On rare occasion that it appeared someone picked up the phone I was disconnected. Other times I was able to leave a message requesting a reservation, however, I never received a return call.

The chef is fantastic and friendly. Food is exceptional. The wait staff is great. Best restaurant in Flagler hands down.

Visited for the first time last night for my birthday. We will definitely go back! Food was incredible and the service was impeccable. We started with the gnocchi trio and it was literally the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. Table side Caesar that was the real thing. I ordered the Ossobuco and my husband ordered veal. They were both fabulous, and we were quite full at this point! But not too full to try a piece of Limoncello cake. Delicious! Oh yeah, and a nice bottle of Gavi. I was even serenaded by the table next to us who was also celebrating a birthday! Great experience.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I live in Chicago, have been to Italy twice and have eaten a lot of amazing Italian food all over the country. For our family, the Sole was the standout dish, but everything, from wine to the dessert, was exceptional.

First time here, what an awesome restaurant. We loved that the owner/chef came over to speak with us and customize a meal just for us! We will be back.

The best Italian restaurant in North Florida! The food is delicious, the service is superb and I’m never disappointed. It’s a small intimate setting which adds to the experience. The chef is from Italy and he always greets your table telling you about his amazing specials. You need to call in advance for a reservation but it’s worth it! If this doesn’t sway you surely the pictures will. Possibly the best pasta I’ve had in my life!

UPDATED: Came today 11-11-23 for our 51st Anniversary. Another great meal and service by all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give this restaurant 10 Stars. The food was unbelievable and the best Italian food I've ever tasted. Dylan our server made this dinner a special night for all our guests. Service was the best.

He did it again! Another fabulous meal with Florio and his team. Live plating of my Caesar salad was amazing. Dressing made from scratch...whoa! Dessert as always didn't disappoint. Dylan remembered my mothers drink and the fact she preferred room temp from 2 months ago! "LET'S GO!" Chef Floriano is a Venetian master chef without a doubt. The restaurant is small and unassuming with its location and size. He has approx 8 to 10 tables available for reservations Tuesday to Saturday (5pm to 930pm). But because of the intimate setting, Chef Florio offers you an unbelievable experience for your senses! There are meals that come with table service... salad dressings, salads, and pasta dishes created and plated in front of you. While you enjoy your meal, you can't help but look at others and what they are having. So you can plan for your next experience. We immensley enjoyed the rainbow trout and sole entrees plus the 3 desserts, which were so divine and sinful with just the right sweetness and lightness to not feel tooo guilty. They offer a wide selection of wines and specials that are not on the menu, so ask! Chef comes out to greet his guests and chat and sometimes he will plate your meal for you at the table! What a wonderful, funny and remarkable gentleman. If that is the closest, I will make it to Venezia then I look forward to my next trip to Flagler!

Great food and the best service.

Had a great experience this past Saturday. Our first visit, but not the last. The appetizer was delicious, the house wine was great. We ordered the pistachio encrusted rainbow trout and the Ossobuco with risotto. Both were amazing and you can tell the team cares about everything they do, from greeting the customer, food presentation, taste, even the background music was excellent.

Everything is hand made, with love. Food, service, atmosphere all outstanding! Osso Buco; makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Gnocchi appetizer with blueberry sauce was perfect. Husband had lobster ravioli which looked and smelled amazing! Will definitely be back. 🇮🇹

Very Fresh cooked to order food, what you would expect from an Italian tavern. First time guests, we were very happy. Small tavern so dont expect to walk in and get a table.

They weren’t satisfied with three perfected versions of gnocchi sauces so they added an amazing blueberry kiss to their fourth. The trout with as touch of honey and a pistachio topping was also excellent. I think waiter was new but the owner kept an eye on their service. The only, and big, drawback is the atmosphere or lack of one.

Very special place with amazing food.

Most enjoyable experience one could have visiting a restaurant (dining experience). From the call to reserve a time slot (reservation), to every interaction and food course brought to your table, it is pleasant with passion. This small venue of an Italian family business, involves all their staff. They make you feel like someone important to them. Like family! This is our third visit over four years and it has not disappointed. It is clean, looks and smells clean. We love it. The food, well you will not find any better. The love is in all their food. Approximately 10 tables (2-8 person per party) available. Not open Sunday and Monday. Because it is limited, Call ahead (day or so) and make your reservations. It’s not crowded, but is not a large dining area. Plan to pay $50 -70 per person for a full course. Come and See!

May I start with the fact that the service was fantastic. They were quite attentive. The building inside could use some updating. Felt old and dingey. Tables were dressed nicely but ours kept trying to topple. I just wasn't impressed with the meal itself. It might be because I'm Sicilian and make my own pasta but with all the talk, I expected something else. My husband's meal was way better than mine. He had a 'special' and mine was from the menu. My meat was dry, the pasta was grayish in color and I don't know what the sauce was. It was a pretty disappointing meal for me. We did have 2 glasses of wine each which boosted the bill but 2 of us was $238. so a bit pricey as well. I don't need to go back again. Others rave and have fantastic things to say but I am posting my own, honest review

The service is the very best I’ve experienced in recent years. My wife enjoyed a pasta dish which was the waiter’s favorite. She wanted to take it home, but she couldn’t stop eating it. 😂

So amazing! I came here for my birthday dinner and the owner was so accommodating. There was 17 of us which is a lot (this is a small restaurant) we spoke several times before the dinner to ensure everything was perfect and it was! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable! I couldn’t have had a better birthday dinner. Thank you so much!!

Traveling with my wife from Jax to Orlando for business, in the mood for Italian & got transported back to Florence! Chef runs the sharpest brigade. Each dish was exquisite, served with the greatest care. We will return.

For such a fine restaurant, I would expect cloth napkins and tablecloths. Took away from some of the ambience.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first dining experience at Osteria Rustica this evening. My partner and I order different seafood entrees -Sole & Rainbow Trout. As usual, we sampled each other’s meal. Both were superb. The gnocchi with a blueberry sauce as an appetizer was light & luscious. And the limoncello/marscapone dessert put the perfect finishing touch to a outstanding dinner. I would highly recommend making a reservation for a meal you don’t expect in this slice of Florida.

No kidding. Best dinner out I’ve had since moving to Flagler County five years ago. Beautiful table side ceasar salad, succulent osso buco, sublime lobster risotto. Chef/owner keep this place small and cozy with two seatings each night. A lovely local dining experience. It should be Michelin rated.

A quaint real Italian restaurant 10 minutes west of Flagler beach. Lots of parking. Cozy setting with exceptional friendly service. Great selection on the menu and decent wine list. Desert was exceptional. Reservations required. Dress appropriately. Recommended.
