Lady working there was so nice to my wife and I. The tamales were the best I had since on the Texas border. Better than any Mexican chain restaurants I've had. When I do not feel like making my own, I will definitely be going here.

First time ever having tamales, and definitely knocked my socks off! I got both chicken and pork. Both were good but I prefer the chicken and hubby prefers the pork. I also can't get enough of the green homemade salsa. Yum yum!

We checked this place out a while back and I totally spaced about reviewing until today. I called this morning to order 2dz tamales and she was able to put them to the side for me before she sold out. The tamale lady was super sweet and she informed me of the new hours as well. The tamales were absolutely delicious and so worth the price. The salsa verde was great too.

What a find. Great tamales out of this little hut. Always came to late for the black bean tamale, but tried the other 3. Chicken tamale was the best. Don't forget their excellent salsa. Almost forgot the friendly owner.

Working here for a bit and went to Outlaw on a recommendation - absolutely 100% deserved! How lucky to find real tamales so far away from Texas. The owner is so nice, and she loaded me up with her home made salsa roja and salsa verde. Tamales cheaply priced and very tasty!

I don't normally like Tamales. But these, these Tamales I loved. The salsa they gave was also extra good, lady was nice too

Absolutely love getting Sil's tamales. Today stopped by to Pick up a dozen handed her all my punch cards she was going to combine them for me. And I had a free dozen coming . Absolutely made my day. She informed me that she's been there 12 years now I knew it was a long time I had no idea it's been that long. If you've never tried them you have to stop by they come out hot fresh and ready-to-eat great go to dinner , or pick him up for lunch. ~Beth Frank

Cylle's tamales are the best! Loaded with the meats and flavor... You won't find tamales 🫔 this good unless you head to Texas or maybe California. To top it off she is super nice and friendly!

The tamales here are so good. My favorite is the chicken tamale with the green sauce. I don't always have time to stop by because of my work schedule, but when I do I take a dozen home. My daughter loves them just like I do. The lady is really nice and she always provides great customer service. She and her business have been a part of North Pole for years. We've only lived here for two years and we visit when we can. You must visit this location if you are a tourist. When the tamales run out is heart breaking haha they are that good 👍🏻

Tried these tamales last year while visiting Fairbanks, planning on flying in for a weekend this fall with Tupperware to bring as many home as TSA will allow!

So i broke into this place about a month ago and i kid you not the tamales started to get up and dance. Im terrified at this point but then the tamales start to beat me up so i fight back and eat one but then they knock me down and take like 5 bucks from me and then fall down dead like nothing happened. 0/10 would not rob again but 5 stars because tamales are good

UPDATE: I drove out special from Fairbanks on Saturday to make sure I tried the tamales. I ordered the Outlaw special with a three tamales differant ones. I liked the shreded beef the best but they all were great. First attempt: Get there early, may sell out. I met the Owner, cook and NP happy person named Cylle. I will try back again

When we travel we use Google to read reviews and select restaurants etc. This practice paid off in spades when it led us to Outlaw Tamales! The owner took time to talk with us and answer questions, her personality is warm and accommodating. The pricing is in line with her product and the tamales are wonderful! Check the hours of operation and make it a priority to give this a try!

These are the real deal, try to get there early so you can experience the pure bliss of the black bean, if you can't make it then I guess you will have to settle for the equally wonderful chicken! Bring cash you are going to need it to buy them

Definitely the best tamales in town. She is from East Texas and it shows in her crafty tamale recipes. They never cease to disappoint me. My favorite is the chicken!

The tamales are delicious. The owner is friendly and a joy to talk to while waiting for her to package the tamales. Love the punch cards she has, great idea and more of a reason to come back. Got a dozen of chicken and another of pork and they were both delicious! Salsa is delicious also. I miss my moms tamales so having these homemade ones make me feel at home. Love supporting this local lady!

Ordered in advance based on reviews. Picked them up and they smelled so good had to taste test. Circled around and got 2 more dozen. Can't wait to get back to hotel to dig in. Such a nice lady, loved the story about how the Outlaw name came to be!!

Looking for authentic tamales? This is the place. Take it from a Mexican who grew up making tamales in South Texas. These are the best tamales I’ve had outside of my mom’s house. This lady (owner) puts a lot of heart and authentic flavor. The salsa is also amazing. Her bright and warm spirit makes you feel “en casa” (home).

Homemade the best this side of the border

This small place packs a punch of flavor. The owner is very nice and I enjoyed having her tell me the history of the business. The tamales are extremely flavorful and well made.

Top tier tamales. Being originally from Texas I know a little bit about the subject, and these are fantastic. The best thing about this place is the salsa. One of the best salsa verdes in the country.

I had to wait 15 minutes for tamales and was asked kindly to wait another 15 because they weren't ready yet. The owner gave us a free dozen of tamales due to waiting so long. I haven't had a good tamale in a long time and will be returning for more!! Thankyou for.your kindness

She provides a wonderful atmosphere with a happy smile and cheerful attitude. She provides tamales in chicken, pork , blackbean and beef. The pork are amazing!!!.
