Such a unique atmosphere here with the Palm Beach Kennel Club. You can dine while soaking in the atmosphere with the dog racing track. I’m not much of a gambler but it was a unique experience dining and taking in the atmosphere. I had the sirloin steak which was good and my friend had a salad.

Went there for dinner and a show. Very good venue for it with tier seating in front of the stage. Food was good as you choose before you arrive. Make sure you tell your server you are ready as we weren't aware and were served late. But overall we would book another show.

I went for a meeting for my job and we had breakfast. The food was so good, especially the french toast. The service was great as well. I would love to go back.

Really great venue!!! Went there for KVJ live podcast and it was amazing. Food was absolutely delicious and price was superb. Service was friendly, quick, and on point! Nice large space and overall great experience.

I attended a luncheon meeting at the Paddock Club Restaurant at the Kennel Club today. This is the 3rd luncheon I attended here and it was absolutely amazing as usual. The setting is beautiful! White tablecloths roses for the centerpieces and actual cloth napkins! The restaurant is spotless as are the Restrooms. The bar is beautiful- looks brand new! The service was outstanding! Efficient and respectful since most of us were Seniors. Now to the buffet server served.. a healthy salad filled with shaved veggies and ranch dressing on the side. The chicken fraises Looked yummy everyone said it was.. then wild rice which was absolutely delicious and piping hot. Hot Ziti with vegetables - wow! So much flavor and so fresh! Perfectly cooked! Perfect buffet for a hot summer day. Their desserts are always rich and delicious! Choices: carrot cake, chocolate cake, key lime pie. I chose the huge portion of carrot cake. I’m proud to say i ate the entire piece! Wow! Maybe the best carrot cake I’ve ever had.. Once again, this restaurant offers delicious food and great service! I need to come back more often! I highly recommend!

For an event the space was 5⭐️ except the wheelchair access. This place was probably Built-in the sixties or seventies and they have to put a wheelchair ramp over the stairs to get into the upper level which is. The only level that's accessible. I had VIP table tickets which were right in front of the stage that I could not access. The food was mid at best and overpriced. The event I attended had special designed drinks, and the bartenders felt as if they didn't even want to be working. The drinks tasted like trash. The event did have a custom menu, but the food that came out just looked like it was of poor quality and thrown together. Not to mention 1 Person in our party wanted plain french fries, They had chili cheese fries on the menu and they wouldn't bring her just a plate of french fries.

Went there for a comedy show, nice place, clean but food was not good. Had Prime rib that had really no taste and a key lime that was one of the worst I ever tasted. The next week my credit card I used there had fraud attempted on it. Mic died 2-3 times kinda disappointing for the money I shelled out for the show and dining. Show was good at least.

Great food, great service and an outstanding event!!! Absolutely amazing event held at PBKC paddock restaurant! The Sports Business Luncheon with the Legendary Johnny Bench! Thank you so much! Johnny Bench sharing great life experiences with humor and sincerity was priceless! Funny, sincere and poignant! It was an honor to be there.. listening to a Legend! What a charismatic, magnanimous and philanthropic man! The food was 5 star! Maybe the best prime rib I've ever had! Like butter! Perfectly cooked medium rare. Hats off to the chef! I never eat rice but this rice was delicious! I don't know how they cook it perfectly and kept piping hot without getting overcooked. The veggies were delicious! Maybe one of my most delicious meals ever! Thank you so much! Amazing! The renovation of the restaurant is fabulous! Great service and delicious food with an amazing event!!!

Paddock Restaurant was entertaining with all the 📺s and the food and service was excellent.

There were 4 of us for lunch today Saturday, January 22nd. We had a reservation for 1:00PM. When we arrived the place was pretty empty. The restaurant is located at the Palm Beach Kennel Club and is set up in stadium design facing the track. Each table has its own TV set and there are an additional 34 large screen TV sets and 3 even larger projection TV's around the perimeter. Now for the review. The service was awful. Of the 4 meals ordered 1 was wrong and had to be sent back. All of the orders came out at different times. It took 2 hours for lunch. We requested paper napkins twice, I am still waiting for them! If you do decide to go there make sure you have plenty of time to waste! The food was pretty good and the portions were large. The prices were also fair. The menu had many interesting choices. I cannot see myself going back to The Paddock Restaurant anytime soon!

Four of us came for dinner on a Friday evening. Very few tables were occupied, so it felt safe. We were given packets of hand sanitizer when we sat down. We got our water quickly, but it was quite a while before our server, Nicole, came to take our order. She was sweet and friendly. There was another long wait for bread, but it was warm and crusty and the onion soup was good. Two of us had snapper, which was nothing special. One had crabmeat-stuffed shrimp, which was pretty average, and one had crab cakes, also average. The serving sizes were large. Service was very slow, although we got our dinners quickly after I spoke to the hostess. On Friday nights wine is half price and dinners are two for one. That makes it a reasonable place for dinner.

Great place, great food and it leaves you wanting a couch or a next door motel after the brunch. Cheers to the harpist who played beautifully for the duration and this sweet ice bunny sculpture!

I have wanted to try this restaurant and now that they have stopped greyhound racing I felt comfortable doing so. Willie, the manager greeted me warmly and gave me a good seat. The dining room is racetrack tiered and huge. It is old school but was once elegant. I enjoyed the split pea soup and chef salad (beautifully julienned cold cuts). With a white tablecloth and good service, I left again wondering why someone would prefer picking up fast food at a Chiptole for the same price as this meal and dining experience ($12)!

Equal, and in some instances superior to any parimutuel dining option in the United States. Mostly fresh prepared food, with good nightly specials.Priced similiar to a Chili's. Full bar that is priced extremely reasonable, especially if you compare to any similar facility. Wayne and crew world class, hope after New Year still around??

Meal was just ok..turkey wrap and a salad, which took an hour and a half to be served. Had to constantly ask for iced tea, water, etc.I wont be back. Manager did nothing but make excuses and never apologized.waitress seemed a bit flustered.

My wife and I went for dinner and to watch the Kentucky Derby, the food was ok, the waitress was great. My wife had Crab cakes and Escargot (Snails) as a starter, 2 hours after dinning, my wife was very violently sick, to the extent of passing out on the bathroom floor, where she slept the whole night, she was still sick the next day. I called the Restaurant to inform them about the incident, in case they had a bad batch of Snails, the duty manager showed compassion and said she would have her boss call me the next day, she took my number, but, I received NO call.

The restaurant (open in season) overlooks the first turn where many dog races are determined. The menus features a variety of meat, pasta and seafood dishes that are surprisingly good for a sports venue. Lamb chops, stuffed shrimp and duck were well prepared and scrumptious at our most recent visit. Good food and the fun of dog racing make for an enjoyable evening.

We went for lunch on a Sunday to watch the dogs run and bet, see the Dolphins on TV and enjoy a lunch. In September, the restaurant is not very busy, so we did not need reservations. I have been told that during the Snow Bird season, the restaurant is extremely busy and reservations suggested. We started with some of the best coffee I've had lately. I think I had four refills. I wasn't very hungry, so I only ordered the Onion Soup Gratin. I've had this soup before and knew I was in for a treat that did not disappoint. I also ate the rolls and butter that came with Bob's meal. Bob had the Rib Eye Steak platter with coleslaw and green beans. He ate every single bite. When we arrived, a nice gentleman stopped by to help us get the Dolphins game on our tabletop TV. He even attempted to program the set but the tv was old and couldn't cooperate. He put the dog races on our TV and set up the Dolphins on the next table over so we could watch both. I wish he had a name tag because I neglected to get his name. But he had an Island accent and was very pleasant. Our server was Julie who couldn't have been better. We hope she was happy with the 30% tip we left. She was worth every penny. We were not rushed to turn over the table, but might feel that way when it is busy. I just have never experienced that feeling. The service is superb, the food is fantastic, the dining area is impeccably clean and the unobtrusive entertainment is unbeatable.

This is not the burger stand at the dog track, but a fine dining restaurant with stadium style table seating at turn one. The floor to ceiling window provides an unobstructed view if the track while you dine on gourmet food. A bit pricey, but as mentioned before this is not the burger stand. The French onion soup is truly remarkable as well as all the menu items. There are betting stations located in multiple areas of the restaurant if you chose to bet. The environment is quiet but fun and there are televisions at the tables to view horse racing and other events as well as view the replays. Service is very good and the servers cater well to your needs. Men must wear a collared shirt for admittance, so it is a nice place to go if you like to dress up a bit. Just don't be disappointed if others aren't because not everyone wil as others will just wear a shirt with a collar. Parking is both self and valet for $3.00. But it is a great and unique place to take out of towners or just a couples night out.

The kids may enjoy this because of chicken fingers or pasta. The adults well.... We had chewy steak and cold potatoes plus wilted salad. Best to eat before you go to see the dogs. If you're only going to eat not a good idea.

I will acknowledge that we arrived on Derby Day with no reservations. We were informed that there was a $30 prix fixe menu that day, which was fine with us. Despite the hostess' comment that they were busy, The Paddock was less than half-filled. Our waitress appeared after a few minutes' wait (I think she was the same one, Lisa, that vsattui123 had!) to take our drink order, and I asked if she could bring an additional setup, as well. Only one had been brought to the table, as well as only one menu. We asked again for a setup when our meal arrived. We placed our orders, and I asked my sandwich have only onions on it, not peppers, and got neither. We had finished our drinks, and we waited a good ten minutes before the server stopped by to ask us if we wanted another. We did. As we waited for that drink to arrive, we noticed that other diners were enjoyed shrimp cocktail, and found out later that one could order off the regular menu, an option which was never offered to us. It would be an extra charge, but we never had that option. The person who seemed to be the manager nearly shrugged it off when I mentioned it to him . Lisa was gone for long periods of time, and I really wanted to believe that she had a lot of tables to take care of, but rarely saw her at the other tables, either. She did tell us that she was going to take a quick break at one point late in the meal, but never told us who'd be attending to us. Guess what? Nobody did. By this time her disappearances got my curiosity, so I clocked this "quick break". Thirty minutes later, she reappeared. The biggest disappointment was the fact that Lisa did not engage us at all. We would have spent a lot more if she had suggested menu items, seen we had only one menu and brought us the regular one, and just plain been there to make sure we felt welcome. The server that was next to us seemed glad to be there, suggested things to her guests, and had a joy in her work. We were disappointed in this dining experience. It's a lovely setting. The management needs to watch its staff and guests better, and the menu could use a few upscale tweaks. Lisa, at least, needs to find some excitement, knowledge, and passion in her job. The Rooneys right now have a "so what" restaurant. It could be so much more...

My wife and I used to consider this on the ocean restaurant our favorites for lunch and an occasional dinner. We arrive for a late dinner about 9:15 PM and asked waiter if they were still serving. In a less than friend manner, he replied, "Only Dinner Menu Items", no sandwich/lunch options. His attitude ruin our meal. Food was fair at best. We had catch of day and Spagetti. Spagetti sauce was over cooked. I asked for a glass of water was greeted with, "for an extra .30 cents". They now charge for water, even if you are purchasing a meal. We use to eat lunch at the Paddock 2 to 4 times during our 2 week visit to Aruba. I doubt if we will ever return. And if we do, I will ask the server if they are still charging for water. If they charge, I will advised them that we drinks water with our meals and if you charge for water we will eat someplace else.

The restaurant is located inside the Palm Beach Kennel Club. We had booked a reservation for 10 people. We sat 5 people at each table near the bottom row by the windows. Our entire group was on the same check. The restaurant was only about 25% filled. It was not a busy night. Our server was the worst server I have seen in years. She would disappear for long periods of time. She forget to put in the order for one person in our party who then had to wait another 20 minutes for her food to arrive. A few people at our table were drinking bottles of KJ Chardonnay. When they asked for another bottle they manager told them they had just sold out. They had only 2 bottles in stock that night and had sold both of them. The manager brought an different unopened bottle of Chardonnay and left it on the table. It took us 10 to find our server to open the bottle. The food was ok, some described it as banquet food which was pretty forgettable. Needless to say I was very disappointed in this dining experience. We will never come back to this restaurant again. If we ever go the races again we will go to the grandstand and eat at the concession stand.
