This place is absolutely fantastic! My friend took me there recommending the root beer float and sure enough it was unbelievably delicious The root beer tasted wonderful the scoop of vanilla ice cream fantastic - just a joy all around and I highly recommend it! We also had a couple sandwiches - he had a cheeseburger and I had what's called a chicken tender burger and both were really really yummy. They have a great selection of milkshakes including flavors like banana, Tootsie roll, black and white, chocolate banana, orange, and you can mix any flavor to make your own creation. I also took home with me a container of homemade banana pudding which I haven't dug into yet but which promises to be as delicious as everything else I experiened. It's a great atmosphere as well inside - really cool signs decorating the walls and great service. I'd highly recommend Paige's root beer which is also known as home of the Little Big Burger and their motto is "old fashioned hamburgers, french fries, homemade root beer, banana milkshakes and more".. they serve lunch and dinner and are located at 2147 West norvell Bryant Highway, lecanto, Florida 34461. Please check them out you won't be sorry!

Reminded me of a certain 'high quality' burger chain in flavor, but not in price. Brown bag and all! Delicious and exceptional value! Just wish the county would cut an easier entrance. Look for the cannon!

It's in the name, so you have to get their root beer it is one of the best ones I have ever had, and not to mention the food was amazing too.

I came to Paiges Rooter today for my first visit! The place was very clean and well kept. I especially enjoyed their inside seating and the layout. I was helped by Bailey today, I think that was her name, very kind and respectful walking me through the menu and the items. The quality was amazing! Something I'd expect to come out of my own kitchen, this was also very filling!

“Best burger in years…” said my husband who also enjoyed his Root Beer. He’s bringing his mom here next so she can have a good root beer also. I really liked the fries, thin and deliciously salted. Save one or two to have after the house-made banana pudding and leave happy. Entertaining decor and friendly crew.

I didn’t take photos of the food because I placed a to go order. I’ve got to say it’s been over 7 years since my family and I have had Paige’s. We travel a lot for work so when we are in Lecanto we make sure to eat here. You still got it and keep getting it ‼️‼️

What a cute little luncheonette!! Burgers were great. Tots and fries (especially with cheese and bacon!!!) were delish! Service was top notch. Few little hiccups but the were taken care of immediately by very hospitable staff! Great place to have a nice, casual lunch for great prices!

Absolutely 100 garbage!! Ordered a Tripple bacon cheeseburger received a Tripple burger with no bacon and so badly burnt it was not edible

Not worth the hype from locals. Been here a couple years tried this for first time. I must say Burger Station has been the best burgers by far . This was ok but not the best I’ve had . Burgers could be bigger and not so runny.

Touted as one of the best burgers around, I had to try it out. Paige's is a small 5 table shop where you order at the counter and the food is brought out. The burgers are good, but in my opinion, they are a bit pricey. The fries are tasty and the ingredients are fresh.

We went yesterday...THE PLACE WAS PACKED!! Got our burgers...it was around one o'clock...l had never seen so many folks at this place! Went again today! ALL was good!!

It's been awhile since I've been to Paige's. I'd forgotten how very good their burgers are. You get out of your car and are drawn to the front door by the amazing aroma. It just gets better from there!

Updated Review: While out running errands, I decided today would be a good day to get a cheeseburger from Paige's Root Beer. On someone's advice, I discovered you could order online ahead of time for pick up. The web ordering process was very easy to navigate with a lot of options. I decided to get a double cheeseburger with mustard, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, and A1 steak sauce with some onion rings. The food was ready when I arrived, and the good people running the place were friendly and courteous as always. The cheeseburger was hot and fresh, made exactly as I requested with the perfect portions of requested condiments. The burger patties had a nice charred flavor to them with a wonderful sear, complimented quite well with the perfectly grilled onions, jalapenos, and A1. I can truly say they make one of the best burgers in Citrus county, making it well worth the drive to Lecanto. The onion rings were also very good, being crunchy and hot on the outside while tender and sweet on the inside. They were battered, and not overly so like is often the case at far too many places. Prices are fair, portion size is good, and you leave satisfied wanting to come back same day. Original Review: I decided to give Paige's Root Beer a try since I was in the area around lunch time. When I first walked in, the wonderful smell of beef being seared on a griddle was the first thing I noticed. The dining area is a little small, and it was filled to capacity. After a short wait in line to place my order with the friendly and courteous staff, I lucked out as a table had just opened up. The wait time for my order was expected for a local eatery during lunch rush. I ordered a double cheeseburger with American cheese and grilled onions with their root beer. All orders were brought to the table by the server in a brown bag with your order ticket stapled to it. When you order, you're assigned a number, and they call it out when they're bring you your food. The cheeseburger was very good. The onions were grilled perfectly for my tastes, the burger patties had a nice seat on them, and they were quite juicy. Judging by the taste, they're also lightly seasoned. Half way through eating my sandwich, there was still steam coming off the beef patties. Now that's hot off the griddle. The root beer was very refreshing, though I was a little disappointed it wasn't served in a frosted mug. They had other drink offerings, including Nehi in bottles. Overall, a very good experience.

We always stop by when in town for Dunnellon Little League games. We appreciate the kind service and good food. The dining area can hold quite a bit of people. I like knowing there is somewhere we can fit if we take the entire team for lunch.

Pretty crowded got it to go. There was a food menu on the wall and there was people standing in front of it .no place to park. guy at the cash register stood behind a big sheet of plexiglass it hard for us to hear each other. Tenderloin sandwich was small and Luke warm and tasteless. They didn't put any napkins in the bag.

This was my 2nd attempt to try this place. I won’t swing again. They’re never open. Grrr.

Rode my bike 6 miles to try Paige’s homemade rootbeer and have a burger. The place was closed with a sign on the door that said “ Temporarily closed. Will open the third week of January. It’s the second week of March 2024. Maybe temporary for Paige’s mean until 2025?☹️

So glad to see Paige's opened in Dunnellon. They have been our place to go in Lecanto for ages. Went there Monday. Customers lined out the door. Service was quick and the food was spot on. Congratulations on your new place.

Very inconsistent always closed before scheduled closing times

Moved and never put a address on the paper outside. They never up dated there web so I'm assuming there food has the same amount of effort put into it.

I have been by here 3 times during your business hours and you have been closed. So what are your hours because I would love to try the food.

My wife and I stopped at the new location today in Dunnellon and the burger she had was terrible. We are both from the Midwest, and I had today the absolutely worst pork tenderloin sandwich I've ever had. Reading the five star reviews further convinces me that Floridians don't get out much, except to Walmart, church, overrated greasy spoons, and the shootin' range. If you are in Dunnellon, keep on going. You're better off at McDonald's.

Was hoping for a decent hamburger joint in dunnellon but I guess that's not going to happen my wife and I had hamburgers french fries she had chili cheese fries and root beer the hamburgers were small the chili cheese fries were really nasty and the root beer was warm not exactly what we anticipated and for that we had to wait 45 minutes at 2:00 in the afternoon

I had lunch at the newest location today in Dunnellon. While it took awhile to get my meal (they just opened so they were slammed) it was definitely worth the wait! I had the double cheeseburger, fries and of course their homemade root beer. Everything was hot and SO DELICIOUS! Honestly, you don't even need condiments on the cheeseburger because it's perfect! I'll be a regular on my weekly grocery shopping day! Can't wait to bring my husband here. Thanks for coming to Dunnellon!!

The one time we actually got to eat here it was pretty good. Here's why the 2 starts. The first time we tried to go eat there, we looked online. Said it was open. Drove 30 min's to eat lunch there. Closed. Same thing today. Nothing that says they are closed, but sure enough, sign on door. "Temporarily Closed" We won't go back. It's a 30 min drive for us and if they cannot update their web site, that's just bad customer relations. Reply to owner - You have no idea how many other people showed up expecting you to be open only to find a note on the door. I just happened to leave a review. Maybe they just left and decided to never come back. You will never know, will you? But it's obvious, you don't care. If you have a web page for your business, it should be updated accordingly. A customer should not have to search multiple places to verify that you are actually open. And your response again, shows your lack of customer service. It's fine. We just won't come back. Plenty of other great places to eat.

We stopped at new location in Dunellon. The food was half warm, greasy and the burger made a Slider look big both in meat and bun. There was enough grease off the burger and alleged Shaved Steak sandwich to lube the undercarriage of my pickup. Root beer was nothing to write home about. Fries were limp, greasy and cold. Then staff stacking chairs and making you feel rushed. We threw out over 60% of our food and will not return. You only have one chance to make a FIRST impression and you were very subpar. Hardee's, Wendy's and Sonic have bigger sandwiches for similar costs.

From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with a vintage diner style ambiance, friendly smiles, and a clean atmosphere. The customer service you receive here in unlike no other. Between the kindness and friendly conversations this burger joint is the heartbeat of Citrus County. The prices are so affordable for the quality of food. I spend $10-$20 and feed 4 of my coworkers. The patty melt and burgers being some of my favorite go to orders. I come here at least twice a week to support a local business. Come here for one of the best burgers and even better people.

We are waiting for Dunnellon to open, but in the meantime, we stopped at their other place down road from Terre Verte. The root beer was great and not loaded with sugar! Hubby got a pork tenderloin sandwich and liked it, and I got Buffalo chicken. Next time, I'll have to try a burger.

First experience was fantastic! Rootbeer float was an absolute memory delight. They're mini burgers use gluten free buns and were delicious. Will be looking forward to the new location in Dunnellon FL at the closed and empty Citrus Grill.

The burger tastes good, but other than White Castle, it's the smallest burger I've ever seen. I think it's smaller than McDonald's single cheeseburger. Not as good as burger station or what's the scoop, which are both close enough that I would rather go there. The tater tots were okay.

We ordered cheeseburgers fries and onion rings. The burgers were small and just okay, but the onions rings were over cooked and both fries and onion rings tasted like burnt grease.

The fries were soggy and cold , no bacon on burger and wrong toppings, veggie burger was burned and hard as a rock. Over 34.00 for inedible food.

I have been coming here for years and it is always delicious. So today I was traveling with a very good friend of mine visiting a couple of job sites in Black Diamond. After we were finished he said I am starving any Subways around here to get a sandwich. I said have you ever been to Pages? And of course the answer was no, so I took him over for Cheeseburgers and fries with Rootbeer. He loved it and as always it was delicious. Don't waste your money at any fast food burger place when you can have hot and fresh instead, plus it is the same price or lower than them. Enjoy !!!

Both me and my wife went for a double cheese burger, with fries. The burgers are amazing and seasoned perfectly. Its a bit tight inside and gets busy really qiuck because of the hours open.

This place is amazing. Kinda found this place by mistake. Used to going to local known like Wendys, Mcdonalds, or Arbys. But let me tell you. This place has amazing food. The burgers are fresh and there a lot of options for sides. I love the tots. Not a fries fan. They also have Root Beer on tap with free refills. The prices are great and the service is amazing. Kids loves the chicken fingers and I had shrimp the last time. My wife loves the shaved burger. Everything has flavor, which is something that is missing almost everywhere today. I am very happy and I live over an hour away and I have been here twice in less than a month. Thank you.

We visited Paige's Root Beer on an empty stomach and were looking for some good food, and trust me, it did not disappoint. The burgers, fries, and onion rings were all fresh, and the homemade root beer was out of this world! There were so many different options to pick! I must say this is a place to visit not once but many, many times. For me it is very nostalgic, it was like turning back the clock. Homemade root beer, very tasty hamburgers like the old days. A cooler filed with Nehi soft drinks. Friendly service with a smile. Did I say great burgers. This should be a must on everyone's list for a great meal at unbelievable low prices and great food and root beer. I recommend and I will be going back and back.

Love this place. Very new to the area and this was the first place my mother took me and my wife too. I'm shore glad she did, I am absolutely addicted to the shaved steak burger It is absolutely delicious. And the root beer is a perfect combo with it. The hamburger was very tasteful, and the bacon was crisp. The cooked onions had a good taste to them, too. Next time, I will order a double burger because my single was thin and didn't fill the bun. The larger fries were salted just right. The only problem was that they had a slight oily taste to them. I will update my experience when I try them again.
