Their food is amazing! As they grow their food has not lost it's quality. Year after year they are a perfect representation of Colombian food. Highly recommend the lechona empanadas!

I had never been, it was my first time, I ordered a (special lunch) a little bit of rice, beans, a very tough steak and a salad of grated carrots with mayonnaise and a jar of pulp that didn't taste like anything, they charged me $22. Apart from the tip. Too expensive for what they give and the unbearable smell of burning oil that I feel inside. It was my first and last time there.

La mejor comida colombiana, excelente servicio, una decoración muy acogedora verdadera típica. Los tamales, las sopas, ensalada de frutas y torta de chocolate exquisito.

Today we bought lunches. Very disappointed. They sold us banana soup, which had a lot of pepper and was spicy, we couldn't give it to my daughter. And the accompanying rice, sweet plantains and salad… and the protein? They didn't give us any kind of protein. It seems very bad to me that they sell a type of food like that.

La comida te transporta a la antigua zona céntrica de Bogotá. Es como comer en alguna plaza o en el restaurante de la señora del barrio. Daban ganas de pedir la pega del arroz, es que el sabor o sazón casero es inconfundible. Además de eso Jugos de frutas únicas como lo es la curuba. Tiene esa magia única de Colombia donde entras y te saludan todos Los clientes y todo el grupo de trabajo. Nada mejor que la sopa espesa con habas y frijoles de cáscara De verdad es exquisito!!!!!! No puedo decir que es el mejor restaurante Por qué es que nada les compite Nisiquiera es un restaurante comer allá es estar en casa es abrazar tu cultura y no olvidar de donde vienes. La lechona tolimence es uno de mis platos favoritos y raramente, pruebo una tan rica como la que se consigue en Colombia. La lechona de este restaurante es deliciosa y fresca. El Chicharron es perfecto y las raciones son buenas. La atención es muy buena, el restaurante es muy limpio y tiene buena zona de parqueo. Definitivamente, recomendare este lugar a todos mis amigos y regresaré por mas. Muchas gracias por tan bien servicio y producto. Me siento en colombia

True homestyle cooking. Do not go here expecting fancy restaurant vibes. Instead you get a small, cozy space with home decor, honest to goodness absolutely smashing home style Colombian food by very nice people who stay true to their roots. You have certain fixed items such as tamales, calentados, empanadas etc everyday but the main dishes rotate depending on which day it is. I feel it’s best to call in and ask as to what’s cooking that day - Which is all the more alluring because you know you’re getting freshly prepared small batch food. The lechona, calentado, chorizo, chocolate drink and cafe con leche that we ordered all had that unmistakable taste of being prepared at home with a lot of love and care. All hail this hole in the wall - an absolute hidden gem!
