I stopped by here for a quick lunch, and it was not too busy. I ordered a grilled chicken with avocado blt and a cup of creamy tomato soup. My order was ready very quickly, and the food was tasty. All in all, I will be back again. The quality of food is good, the staff is friendly, and the price does not make you break the bank.

The staff and management at this location are friendly, courteous and thorough in their food preparation. Always having a smiling face. The store is clean and spacious. The avocado sandwich I purchased today was the least amount of food and especially avocado ever ! I get this sandwich 3 times a week and this was the skimpiest , hopefully not the new normal

We have gone to the port charlotte panera x3 in the past year or so. First time we ordered dinner as takeout. We didn't check the bag for all items and what do you know.. they forgot a sandwich. Drove back(in the pouring rain) to get it and they didn't even apologize. Second experience was at lunchtime in the restaurant. Waited a good 30 min for food. To then be told they were all out of what I ordered. The third AND FINAL TIME EVER was last night ordered take away. Did check to make sure the correct number of items were there prior to leaving.. got home and not one but two of the sandwiches were incorrect.. like ordered a turkey bravo and got tuna.. so not even close. We didn't return to store to get the correct items. Wasn't wasting my gas. Called them to let me know the error and again the woman didn't even apologize! Never again 😒

New sandwiches were lacking ingredients. Very slim portions in which don’t represent the pictures as advertised. Two sandwiches priced at $12 when in reality all we had was bread…Maybe don’t do take out and they won’t skimp on your food you ordered..

Even tho I was here at lunch time I was able to place my order quickly and my meal was out in just a few minutes My strawberry chicken salad was flavorful and the lettuce crisp. The French onion soup was hot and delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Went to Panera Bread this morning for breakfast, and was met with an awesome experience! I had the nicest person in back who cooked and sold the food, they were unbelievably kind! I had a great start to my morning from this, especially how they had gone leaps for bounds for in the service regard, I give a big thanks to her for that, and thanks again :)

Good menu.....Look forward to returning. I keep ordering the Ciambotta Philly Steak because it is delicious but next time looking forward to broccoli cheese soup plus a chicken sandwich. I love chips and theirs are the best: not over salted and very crisp. Extra take out chips can be purchased...hurray!!

I got food poisoning from a chicken sandwich as soon as I finished the sandwich my stomach began to hurt. I thought I was full. When I got home I started throwing up and being on toilet all night.

I had had a bad experience and said I wouldn't go back. It was better. Hard to understand to hear the woman at the register who had mouth piercings. Had cheese steak sandwich way too spicy.

Awful! Never again for this Panera. Visited there with family over bagels, then ordered a Greek Goddess salad to go, it's the first item on the salad menu. Got my salad (in a brown bag). When I went to eat it at home 2-3 hours later, it was a Greek salad. WRONG! I didn't know Panera had a Greek salad. I ordered in person, so the clerk should have asked if she wasn't sure what I said. I called them 4 times to resolve the problem (not during the busy times). No one ever picked up. Very disappointed. Never again for Panera at Port Charlotte. Gotta get the order right. Clerk should read the order back (especially if two similar items are on the menu). And answer the phone! I want my money back...

The help are all very helpful and nice what a breath of fresh air way to go managers keep up the great work.

Love their Bagels and Cream Cheese.

The guy working behind the counter was a jerk this morning. Just because he is having a bad day there is no reason to be rude to customers

Is it normal that Panera stops serving food 30 minutes before closing?

I want to compliment Scott at the Port Charlotte location. I accidentally picked up the wrong to go lunch. I didn't realize that until I got to my destination. I called to let them know what happened. Scott was so gracious and said they would take care of it. Asked if I wanted to pick up my order later. When I went in, Scott replaced my entire order. Excellent customer service.

Broken order kiosk, dirty dining room, out of stock on basic ingredients, and a staff that’s lost hope… sad really

Filthy floors and tables,screaming kids,need more variety of foods and more vegan options,please…really love DAWN…. Will walk out of any restaurant with loud,screaming,disrespectful,spoiled kids!!!!

Parking lot is unusual as you can only exit to right on 41 north, but can enter on Cochran Blvd. Port charlotte fl!

The service here is excellent, and the location is perfect. However, this Panera gets a 3 star rating from me because the dining room is always packed - and I go here sometimes to eat and work on my computer. There are an alarmingly few number of outlets to plug in my computer. Luckily, i always keep a 10-foot extension cord in my car... I always bring it with me because I never find an empty table with an outlet nearby. Visiting this restaurant would get a 5-star review from me if the dining room were set up better for a work-friendly dining room experience. They need more electric outlets!!! Super annoying dining experience- which is unfortunate because if I could work on my laptop at lunch there, then I would visit this location much more frequently.

I like there soups and some sandwiches. And salads

We frequent this store when in Florida, however the customer service this am was horrid. The lady that took our order was not a happy person She was borderline rude. I ordered a small black British tea and her response was oh you want British breakfast, cold or hot we have both. She never said good morning, can I help or smiled. Not my issue if she was having a lousy day. Then the hot water carafe was being refilled which I didn't know. So I went to the register to ask if someone could get me some hot water and an employee comes out before I could ask and said it will be out. She then proceeded to fill someone else's order and left me waiting. Finally she returns with the hot water carafe and very rudely drops it in place and slams the cover down and walks away. So loud my husband heard it on the otherside of the room. Someone needs to speak with the front end people and explain their issues are not the customers. Otherwise customers will go somewhere else. . I also heard them treat other customers the same way

A super fresh salad and butternut squash soup ... both excellent!

Used the kiosk onsite. Food came quickly. I ordered green goddess chicken salad. It was delicious! Used my sip club ice tea as my beverage.

This place! Run down , carpets are filthy, place smells like burned cheese and bread! Only one out of 3 registers are open and there is a big Sunday morning crowd backed up to the door! So I just take a seat and observe how slow the line is and dit here and rate this place!

To go order missing cookie. Tried to call no answer. Recording wants me to call between meal times. Weird. Always a wrong order or missing items when I go here. Stay away

Filthy! Literally food all over the floor. Nothing in the bakery and no flavored teas. What happened to Panera?

First off food and service are always great at panera. The service on the building however is terrible, bio growth in all of the supply registers and AC returns are full of dust and dirt, the air quality here is absolutely atrocious, shame on this restaurant for not changing filters or doing any type of upkeep, the location is filthy as well and dust on everything, not sure how many people will actually notice these conditions and I’m sure the management could care less, therefore I will not be returning to this location to eat only to test the air quality before visiting the dept of health website next time, DO BETTER PANERA!!!

I can’t believe how dirty this place was right down to the restrooms. What a shame this used to be a beautiful location. They had nothing for me to wrap my sandwich to go. Won’t be going back.

I ordered my food and there was a long line of orders. Not only did they put out only one order at a time, but literally 30 minutes passed and only two orders were completed. I asked for a refund because I didn’t have time to wait three hours because that’s how long it would have taken with the 15 minutes per order. It took the manager an extra 10 minutes to refund me for my pick two and a drink. I don’t complain. I barely leave reviews but this just really upset me. When I asked a person how long the food orders would take and his answer was I don’t know. I felt that was not an appropriate answer considering this is a food establishment and you should have an idea how long each order should take.

Panera Bread never fails. The food is very good. The coffee is great. The staff are very helpful. The food arrives fast. I love getting breakfast and lunch here on different days of the week. You can get your food to go or enjoy a nice dining experience inside. It has a cozy coffee shop atmosphere.

I don’t understand the bad reviews on here but I have had nothing but amazing experiences at this Panera location! I’ve only had two issues with my orders, both not being Panera Bread’s fault; It was the DoorDash drivers. Nevertheless, the manager always accommodated me and resent my order. They contacted DoorDash for me and got it straightened out. The morning staff is not very friendly, but the male manager I always speak to is always so incredibly kind and patient! I ordered Panera breakfast almost every single day, and I’ve never had an issue with them directly. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the restaurant is always clean. Keep up the good work, Panera Bread! you guys are awesome! thank you for always Making my sandwiches delicious!

All is great love Panera ! But when I go in at 630pm or 7pm the dark roast coffee is cold or not available? I ask for dark roast they say to me we are out? Meaning they are not going to make more it's only 630pm? remind you this is after I paid for a large coffee and then told there is no more or won't make fresh HOT coffee....why is this? Please keep the dark roast coffee coming and keep it HOT! Avid coffee drinkers will love you !

To go order. Some of our order was not received. I had already returned home. Went back. Not happy! The manager could have offered a drink, but no! Then they had no more baguettes. Your broccoli soup and baguettes are my favorite.

I gave 2 stars only because of Dawn that works weekday mornings. Other then that, this location has gone down in quality of bagels. The bagels are either already way over cooked or they are so flat, that it seems like they forgot to put in the yeast. When the bagels are okay to buy, the don't have enough. At 7:15 am they should not already be almost out of bagels. I'm not sure why they have no quality assurance, but I will no longer be going there due to the fact that I waste gas and time to walk out without any bagels.

Panera Bread has always been a staple for a healthier lunch option for our family. Food is good and a great place to get together with a group of co-workers, family, or go solo.

Love having breakfast sandwiches here, my fav is brioche with egg n cheese plus the blueberry muffins are absolutely fresh n delicious. I love having Pick 2’s soup n sandwich combos too. Their Chicken Avacado sandwich is nice, chicken wild rice soup and tomato soup is nice too.

Food was ok but boy was it dirty everywhere u looked..thank God I didn't need the restroom. Such a shame cause this Location used to be very clean and food excellent..I was very unimpressed and probably won't visit there again.

The food was delicious . I ordered a green goddess salad and had an iced coffee. Not 5 minutes after eating I was in the bathroom and it was coming out from both ends. I’m sure that’s TMI but there’s no doubt it was instant food poisoning. Not sure if it was the food or the soda/ice machine. The soda machine was absolutely filthy and I should’ve listened to my inner thoughts when they were saying - yikes ! that could get someone sick. The entire restaurant needs better cleaning standards. Never again

Super quiet and relaxing space. Great staff The guy attending in service helped me pick my meal since i wanted something different and he placed his favorite meal. Best thing i had great flavors. BLT Roasted Turkey sandwich with Gouda cheese 😩

It was a bit dirty, many dirty tables

I rarely come here and only got a coffee this time, but I was confused by the self-ordering console. I didn't know how to get my flavored coffee. The rep told me it was in the window and I saw lots of windows. I even heard her sigh in frustration... I get it. She meant there service counter around the corner. It is in a stupid location; but too late to change it now.

This Panera Bread is great. I come here often, but on this recent occasion, there were no bakery items left. I was quite surprised. It was only 3 o'clock.

Comfy restaurant setup, perfect For those that would like to bring their laptop in and use Wi-Fi for a short while. Though the staff is not exactly the same staff the whole time I've been going here, it's always been a hardworking, polite and friendly staff. 😁🤗

I enjoyed it as I always do. However, my friend was not so happy. She always orders the egg sandwich for breakfast, as I do. But this time she couldn't get the egg over easy sandwich, as she has always ordered. They told her they only make them scrambled now. I guess she won't be ordering that anymore, and maybe not have breakfast there.

My family up north ordered soup and sandwiches since I had surgery and my husband still works and is trying to take care of me. My husband found the food outside by the front door. The delivery person didn't knock or ring the doorbell. Have no idea how long it's been out there.

Panera Bread has always had good food and service. However, at my recent visit for breakfast, now it seems that food is no longer brought to your table; I had to pick it up. In the past, someone would come around to pick up your plate when you finished; nobody came so I just left it there rather than carry it to the station for used plates. I wouldn't be so concerned about the reduced service except that there's been no effort to reduce prices or keep them the same. However, to their credit, they took the time to come around and offer a sample of their delicious pastry and everyone still was pleasant and the food was still of very good quality. So, that works; I'm going to buy a blueberry muffin on my way out.

So done with spending a ridiculous amount of money every time to get missing items along with poor quality items. Lights getting shut off early and then getting locked out to get home and have not what I ordered. Guess I'll drive to the Northport location to get good food

Good quick food. The store was packed during this visit but the food was still out quickly. The staff are great and take their time with each customer and making sure that they have offered all of the options available. A great place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Highly recommended.

Please fix the fruit fly problem near the drink station. Found a fly in my lemonade.

Serious management problem. Nobody seems to know what's going on from cash register to the kitchen. All the food is just heated up. Almost nothing is fresh. Beware I got sick from old heated up food last visit. Is it just port charlotte florida?

Went to pick up my order placed online was shown where the pickup boxes were sat there for an hour waiting for my food until the manager came out to lock the doors and asked if I was waiting on an order that had been sitting around the corner the since I got there while all the employees who I asked never mentioned

Haven't been here for years and didn't think it was as good as it once was. I would not go back.

Not sure how this place got so bad, but the food I got was low quality. Sandwich was sloppy as hell. Portions were completely terrible.

Love the chicken avocado sandwich. Lots of avocado! Iced tea is standard Panera - best iced tea around -fresh and brewed. (Almost as good as mine at home.) Parking is easy here and outdoor dining area is clean and in the shade. Service at the counter is friendly and helpful. She made good suggestions.

The tables need cleaned between customers, there is always food and paper on the floor and the restrooms are filthy. Today I ordered a turkey avocado BLT sandwich and it had no turkey on it. This is not the first time my order was messed up, happens more often than not.

Horrible experience…they changed for the worse. The tuna salad sandwich was bad. Nothing like before. The soup was cold. NEVER AGAIN!

Corporate food to not offend your taste buds if you like flavors. The food is so bland how could you complain about any strong flavors. The food is so lacking in any flavor sensation as to be a fat nothing in the world of nothing's. My chicken salad was so bland I could have been eating mulberry leaves and twigs!

Multiple incorrect orders. It is not hard to check off the list as you add it to the bags. Both times the person who paid for the orders, didnt receive their food. We are done ordering here and will advise our reps, not to order here either.

This store is DIRTY. It’s been this way every time we’ve been here lately. The floors are dirty, I wiped off tables last time we were here. There’s food in the window sills, the drink area is also bad. The corporate people in SWFL need to come in and get this place cleaned up!

Everything is fabulous. A person can get a healthy breakfast.

As of late, I have noticed this location is always dirty. No one cleans the tables, the floors are filthy, and the restrooms are appalling. That's before you start dealing with disgruntled staff and what seems like lower quality food. So sad because we used to love this place.

Everytime I go it's like nobody's cleaning the area where people eat ,there's always trash on the ground and dirty table .if not for the smiles ,good food and great tea I'd drop a cocktail on the joint .

Super noisy and not WiFi available. Self serving registers were broken. All these due to hurricane Ian that recently destroyed the town. Because I only wanted coffee with the intention to use WiFi, I was given it free.

Expensive for 1/2 salad and soft drink! Prices up over 20%.

I love Panera bread but this location is just terrible. I ordered a sandwich and an iced chocolate latte without the espresso. The lady hands me my drink and it’s literally just milk with syrup at the bottom. She didn’t even attempt to stir it and she didn’t put any whipped cream. When I brought this up all she did was complain and say “I can’t stir it without heating it up” it was just pure laziness. She offered me a kids size chocolate milk instead but I payed $5 for the the latte and she tried offering me a $1 drink to compensate. She didn’t even attempt to fix my order. I don’t understand why ordering something on the menu was so difficult for her to make. I told her I ordered this drink multiple times at various locations and all she said back was “I can’t stir it” when I got the drink I was easily able to stir it with just my straw, the lady didn’t even make an attempt. On top of that when given my sandwich she said “here’s your sandwich” and tossed it onto the counter causing my sandwich to fall out. And I was supposed to get chips with it. I had to ask multiple times to even get my chips. I understand mistakes happen but this was just a prime example of laziness and being snotty. I didn’t catch the lady’s name but she was a redhead in a purple shirt so hopefully she’ll see this and do better or maybe get a job somewhere else.

Can someone explain to me how literally nobody ever brings out the food when at the curbside pickup? Like can you just contact me and let me know you’re not gonna do it so I’m not sitting outside for 20 min waiting for food to be brought out? So freaking annoying. This is like the 5th time I’ve sat and waited and nobody brought our the food so I had to go inside. And that’s not convenient if I have a dog with me. Not going to leave them in a hot car. This location sucks so much. I never even write bad reviews either, I’ve just seriously lost my patience after having this happen SO many times.

It was 10am and they were OUT OF BAGELS!

Définitivement une des pires expériences. Je commande un Baja bowl avec poulet en demandant la sauce et la crème sûre à part. (Pour mon diner de demain) Je reçois le bol avec la sauce dans le bol. Je tombe sur la superviseur qui reprend ma commande en charge. Ensuite, je me rends compte qu’il n’y a pas de poulet. Alors je retourne au comptoir et tombe sur la caissière qui avait initialement prit ma commande. Je lui explique la situation et elle me répond avec un poker face. Elle part dans la cuisine et éclate de rire avec sa collègue et se moquent ensemble de moi de manière insultante…. Wow! Aller au restaurant et se sentir intimidé comme dans une cours d’école…Tout ça parce qu’au final de viens demander ce pour quoi j’ai payé? C’est rendu ça le service à la clientèle de nos jours? Je ne remets plus jamais les pieds là-bas. Pitoyable!

Overpriced, bad service, cold food. Could have went to Chick-fil-A and had a much better sandwich for way less.

Panera Bread is doing something very right in this gluten-free age. Variety, delisciousnes, and friendly people make this one of my favorites. The charged lemonades are tasty.
