So I ordered myself a large, The Works pizza, at Papa Johns. Like I keep saying when it comes to fast food or chains that consistency is the hardest thing to be because of the changing of personnel and cutbacks on quality to save costs. The person answering the phone to take my order was just meh. Wasn't excited or enthusiastic but wasn't rude or mean either. Middle of the road attitude, kind of like not wanting to be there and it sounded like it. Once I got my pizza and opened it up, I was surprised. It was also meh. This is supposed to be a supreme pizza with all kinds of toppings! Mine looked like there was a contest to see which one could come closer to a Picasso painting. The crust wasn't cooked all the way so it was gummy, each slice didn't have anywhere near the same amount of toppings on them. One was overloaded with all kinds, then the neighbor had like two lonely things on it. Overall my experience was just meh. Which sucks for Papa Johns because with that I probably won't be wasting anymore of my hard earned money on them. With so much competition out there vying for your business, you have to be as sharp and consistent as ever! Unfortunately they are not. My recommendation is that you can go to them once, but if they don't wow you or at least give you a good experience, then move on. There are way too many other pizza places that will fill that void.

Pick up my order and they did not have change for 50. Then got home and the pizza was not cut. That’s not a big deal but aft cut it I found out the pizzas was burnt

Fast delivery service, super friendly delivery driver, amazing tasting food AND exactly what I ordered. Absolutely not one issue whatsoever. I am from 8 hours away so I had no idea what I was getting myself into; 10 out of 10 recommend this location. Great job to the entire staff.

Thank you so much to the whole team that worked today on Wednesday 4/5. The pizza was amazing . My driver Alzan did great ! My son realized that the sauces and papachinnios were missing and the lady that My son talked with was kind . Thank you . Our driver brought them to us as fast as they could. Thank you so much for all that yall do . Would have added photos but it is all gone .

Gave a 25% tip and had 6 wings in my order instead of 8. Missing sauces. Sausage on my sausage pizza was gross. Will avoid papa John’s all together

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEIR CHEESESTICKS!! The ONLY COMPLAINT that I really have is now they are CHARGING for Cheese, Peppers, & Seasoning Packets!!! I mean JEEZ (OMG), if I buying my food there, WTH is the DEAL??! UNLESS, you want UNREASONABLE AMOUNTS of 1 or more of these, INCLUDE!!!

It's Papa Johns. If you got the money, there are plenty of family owned local pizza places with quality pizza, but if you're a college student like me and just need a cheap pizza every once in a while, this one's been consistently decent.

We pulled up at about 12:25 lights and open sign were on, the door was unlocked. We even had an employee walk past us and not say anything. So we walk in and as I picked up a menu a lady walked up and said "Um Hi we are closed, we've been closed since 12" My husband said "alright thanks" but we were confused because not only did they appear to be open but it's Saturday night and their website & Google said they were open until 1:30 am. I generally do not go to this location and after this I definitely don't plan on going back.

We have never had a cold, or bad pizza from Pappa Johns on Mt. Rushmore Road, Rapid City, South Dakota. They deliver pretty fast, the pizza is hot, and tasty. I did email the company asking if they could add a section for online orders to request plates and seasonings. Hope they do that.

Outstanding service. Prompt delivery & amazing food. The only reason I’m only giving 4 stars is because my pizza wasn’t cut at all hahaha. Usually that comes after a disaster experience but that wasn’t the case. Someone just spaced it. Definitely will order again when I come back to visit next time!

Delicious pizza, high quality of ingredients

I prefer Papa John's over the other fast food chains because their Pizza it's not as salty, however this location they make okay Pizza. I bought from them three times the first time it was okay the last two times the pizza was cold not only that the delivery guy left my order on the ground outside my door not even in a plastic bag. The delivery wait time was about half an hour so for my pizza to be cold they had to have made it before and have it sitting there.

Pretty average Pizza in my opinion. It's not bad by any means but there's nothing special about it. We ordered online and then did curbside pickup buy our pizzas were done later than they told us they'd be.

Not very good...not what we ordered...should have took it back for refund....we ordered half pepperoni half hawaiian type toppings...when it was delivered only ONE pepperoni on half the pizza will not order again....

Este es un muy buen lugar de pizza... y no se puede alimentar a 5 adultos por un precio barato como Papa John's! Siempre hay una muy buena oferta para ser tenido... el personal es muy amable y la comida es excelente. Nos son de Canadá, y han estado allí por lo menos 8 o más veces. No comer en mesas, así que tienes que llevar. Hay un gran parque a sólo un par de manzanas de distancia, con un mirador hermoso blanco. En cualquier momento estamos en Rapid City, Papa John's se puede esperar!

Ordered what would be best describe as a meat lovers pizza with extra sauce. I tasted great but unfortunately we could find almost no sauce let alone extra. The pizza however was still excellent

My family lives in rural America with no chain restaurants. I realize that everyone has access to Papa John's...but we don't. So when we come to the "big city," we always are sure to get a large cheese and sausage pizza with several extra dipping sauce containers. Each pizza only comes with one or two but we pay extra for more of the sauce and that makes the pizza one of my favorites. It is a sad day if we have extra pizza left over but no sauce packets to pare with that remaining pizza.

It's a franchise, and if they do it well, you typically know what to expect. This particular Papa John's is consistent; and they deliver fast.

Pizza is hot and fresh when it's delivered! They offer a great variety of food. The cheese sticks were my favorite!

We have tried several different kinds of pizza and they have all been excellent. I would recommend Papa Johns for everyone.

If you are in the mood for "chain store" pizza, then go with Papa John's. They have great prices usually, and their pizza tastes better than any of the other big chains. The service is also great and delivered in a timely manner. Just a great treat when on the road for the whole family, would recommend getting that and then spending the evening with the family at your pool area for a pizza party night while you are traveling.

Tried this Papa John's to see if it was different from the other one in Rapid. Not impressed. But I guess some folks love it. I'd recommend Domino's or Little Caesar's anytime over either one of them.
