Very good food, the waiter was nice, love having this place in my neighborhood.

Zero complaints. Only kudos. My friend and I were both actually impressed with the food we ate. The service was good. The atmosphere was nice. I'd happily go here again and again.

I really enjoyed my food. Flavor was pretty good and the service was good. The atmosphere was a bit too loud. I would definitely visit again. I got the shrimp &grits and an order of brussel sprouts.

When we sat down they immediately got us water and then they took our order and then when the food got here it felt fresh and tasted very good I would recommend going here for dinner. But is was pretty pricey

This place IS worth a visit, Of course, the mussels, I like traditional white wine and butter. Get the large, trust me:O) But I have had many of the things on their menu, and never disappointed. Flatbreads, Burgers ..etc. I am confident that you will not visit there and be unhappy with your order.

Update 12/20 Wow just had an absolutely magical lunch with friends! I had the poutine with pork shoulder and BBQ sauce. Absolutely outstanding in every way. The meat was so tender, the fries were crispy perfection and the saucy was sweet and spicy. (Pro tip: with poutine, get the sauce/gravy on the side of possible so it doesn't make the fries soft.) Bravo Park Bruges! Original post: Great food, huge selection of Belgian beers. I usually get poutine. Mussels are also a popular choice. Excellent iced tea btw. If you don't know what it means when people say a tea is bright, this is exactly what they mean.

Best prepared mussels in town in friendy elegant pub setting. Coconut curry sauce delish enough to require extra crusty bread request. Can't wait to try crafty cocktails on Feb. 1.

Hometown feel with an uptown menu. We loved the mussels and frites. Cocktails are impressive and a great variety of appetizers are sure to please.

We visited this restaurant before heading over to the zoo for their lantern festival. Let me tell you this meal was one of the BEST meals I have ever had. Every one working was so nice and attentive. The food and drink options are great! Highly recommend taking someone on a date here or if friends/family are visiting bring them. It is so worth it!

We enjoyed ourselves supremely at Park Bruges last night: the pulled pork poutine and the maple bourbon glazed salmon vying with one another for best dishes we've eaten since moving to Pittsburgh; the service made poetic by servers who take their service so very much to heart; the ambiance that of a neighborhood place - a great, good place where meeting one another & talking vie with great food & drink. Yep, we've found a home at Park Bruges - a place where friendliness holds the menu for us while we enjoy ourselves selecting dish after delectable dish...

I gave a pretty good rating but I was disappointed. The 3 others at our table were pretty happy. I, less so. Service was good. Cocktail was reasonably priced but somehow (mystery), I did not like it. My special was reasonably priced (not more than similar entres) but not good. It was only warm and not flavorfull. My dessert came with cold chocolate sauce. I sent back. The waiter comped DESPITE my declining. Our guests did not like their dessert. So it was mixed. I WILL come back. Incidentally, I ate also at Point Bruge last week. Regular menu dish was better.

We order the Moules Frites with Classic White Wine sauce to share and it was delicious! I paired it with very good Fat Head's draft IPA. We were offered desserts and we tried the one in the picture. It had a waffle, banana ice cream, and caramel sauce. It was a sweet way to end this wonderful dining experience! Very attentive service, nice ambiance, interesting location, and more than appropriate prices. Completely recommended!

We visited Park Bruges on Tuesday, 9-6-23 for lunch. Very nice relaxed atmosphere, service was friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. There were 3 in our group and we ordered: Fleming onion soup Roasted Corn & Spinach salad Salmon w/carrot risotto Philly herbPork sandwich with roasted red pepper jam. Everything was outstanding! This restaurant is always good and consistent.

I almost never leave reviews and hate to bang on someone's livelihood but this org. really missed the boat on providing a quality dining experience last Friday evening. Maybe if we had sent the food back I wouldn't be here typing right now, but at the time everyone was so put-off that we paid our tab and got up and left. Details: ordered apps, 2 mussle dishes and the chicken sandwich. the brussle sprout apps were the singular standout. flatbread dish was very ordinary, bland even. Chicken sandwich was rubbery. Mussels were especially horrid. The aroma coming from the bowls of mussles conveyed a visceral reaction of questioning if the food was safe. It must have been, since the few mussles that were consumed didn't cause any illness. Even the french fries were a disappointment. we must have been served the bottom of the bag of fries as there were very few that were longer than 1 inch. This made a go at the dipping sauce nearly impossible. I mentioned this to our server and he dismissed my inquiry saying that those are belgian style fries. For the record, Belgian style fries are so-named, NOT because they are ridiculously small in length, but because of the prep style and the double frying. This response was insulting.

Casual restaurant with excellent moules frites and friendly capable service. Chicken Milanese was also well prepared and tasty. Highly recommended for a fun easy going spot for dining with friends.

Yay! Vegetarian options! I had the warmed goat cheese salad and my friend a tofu banh mi. Both meals were delicious. Our server accommodated all my questions, was prompt and courteous.

The mussels were excellent, loved the frittata as well. Drinks were a little sweet but still tasty. Very casual atmosphere, no need to dress up. The service was patient and accomodating of our dramatic requests, which was greatly appreciated

Although famed for its excellent moules, I tried the roasted half chicken on our most recent visit and was delighted with the experience. The chicken was the tastiest I’ve ever had, and the sautéed veggies and fries made for a perfect meal. All the menu prices had leaped since our last pre-Covid visit, but I guess that’s happened everywhere. The service was efficient and friendly, as usual.

Okay, we ate so much good food in Pittsburgh and I have so many reviews to leave, so I'm just gonna keep this simple: Ambiance is beautiful. Neighborhood is perfect (honestly every restaurant we tried slapped). Servers are attentive and social. They are also very efficient and fast, it gets busy! The food was outstanding. Our salads were fresh and the dressing tasted correct. My breaded chicken was so crispy it was like a sci fi movie. And her fried tofu banh mi was beyond oustanding. Like, it tasted like we had ordered it at a vegan vietnamese restaurant. That crispy and flavorful. And then the fries. the FRIES DUDE. My entree didn't have a carb in it, so I ordered a basket of fries. They bring a TON of fries and they are the BEST FRIES IN THE WORLDL!! She even explained to us like, on a technical level, why it's even possible for their fries to taste so good. So yeah. This place is good. Prices are beyond reasonable.

An amazing dining experience. Outdoor seating was great, the food was fantastic - every dish a perfect blend of complementary flavors. Good wine, good service and overall an experience I can't recommend enough. We will definitely be coming back.

Would definitely return when visiting the area. The autumn Bolognese was fantastic, added mushroom to ours, chicken, shrimp, or salmon are other options. Looking for a cozy environment to enjoy some good food and company? this is a place you will thoroughly enjoy.

This restaurant is literally so kind and the food is amazing I live three doors down and try to come up there as much as I can. The French onion soup is spot on and their muscles are delicious!! Also an awesome cocktail menu!

Looking for the best fries in the city. Well here we call them frites and theyre dipped in either aioli or moles (musscels). Trust me it’s worth it.

Very good food. The waitstaff also was very attentive. Nice bar area, convenient location. Parking can be an issue. Mussels are wonderful, as well as the French onion soup. The roasted chicken looked good, but I didn't try it. Well definitely come back for a return visit.

The sauce for the mussels has changed in the past two years. Not as good as old recipe. My son and I ate there today for first time in a couple of years. Mussels were so so and his pom fritter were dots. How do I eat fries that are really a small dot? Price is way up and quality is not good very dissatisfied

Great local eats with a Belgian twist. Can get crowded during peak times so plan ahead. Perfect for brunch, the waffles are my favorite with their seasonal fruit topping. The last waffle I had was a little... old tasting, it was late for brunch, so maybe I got the last of the batch. Someone else had French toast and was surprised that it was literally a French baguette toasted with butte and jam on top. No eggs that we could see. Not so tasty especially for the price.

I only ended up here because the Park Place Pub kitchen wasn't open until 4. While the staff was very friendly and professional, the food was horrible and pricy. While I ordered 2 hamburgers that came only with Cole slaw or a side salad, I got charged $8 for French fries which where shoestring fries and mushy. No seasonings in the food. The burgers were burnt. They charged an extra $3 each for cheese, mushrooms, bacon ( I can understand that one). While I am a big advocate for supporting small businesses, I won't be coming back here at nearly $50 for 2 burgers.

This is one of my favorites! I miss Bruges on North as it was closer.

The potatoes in the Short Rib Hash were a little too mushy for my liking. A roast potato with crisp outside would have done wonders to the over all texture of the dish. The poutine was fine, but I wish the fries aren't what stood out. I preferred Point Bruges, and given if we aren't in a larger group will be making our way to that location next time.

First time in several years, and the food and service were still good, and it's great to still find Belgian beer.

Overpriced food with small portions. If you plan to eat a decent amount you will be spending a lot. The poutine was really bad. Based on the other reviews and pictures I have seen, I was hoping it would be great. No cheese curds, barely any gravy and fries didn't look fresh. Result was soggy fries with some bad melted cheese on top.

Brunch with a friend! Menu eclectic. Pumpkin French toast very good! Bloody Mary even better. Laid back atmosphere. Service very hood. Will definitely return.

Food was good. The waitress came off a bit rude/dismissive at first but warmed up throughout the remainder of my parties meal. Ownership/management needs to do something about the nats/flies that are in the customers face while eating.

Fabulous dining experience. Great lighting, well spaced tables. The moules frites are a must. The Bruges burger war also delicious. Bless the kind, attentive waiter - the 2 groups of elderly ladies-who-lunch seated next to us were rude and demanding, but he handled it with grace.

My wife and I like to go here when we want to do a casual fancy date night. This is what you get at Park Bruges (or Point Bruge). The wait staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. The service is always great even when they’re packed to the brim. I recommend getting the mussels (they’re always wonderful!). Their specials are usually decent and their Bruges burger is good as well. I used to love their fries but on my last visit, they seemed to have changed them. Instead of the usual thin and crispy fries, they had these thick Burger King style fries. The fries were still cooked nicely but they were not nearly as crispy and delicious as the regular fries are. I would also not recommend getting their lamb and beef burger, when I tried it, it was a bit dry and the side of coleslaw was uninspired. Overall this place is a good spot for an end of the week date night that won’t cost you too much.

Park Bruges may appear an unassumingly quaint eatery. It is anything but. A wondrous collection, from the cheese board and moules to the Scottish Salmon and boulets à la liegeoise. Belgian flair for cuisine ... All in all, a very excellent locale!

Loved the mezze plate, especially the sweet red pepper walnut sauce. My husband and I shared it and couldn't finish it. It's big enough for more than 2 people to share. Loved the crisp cucumber and the halved grape tomatoes. The husband liked the raw red pepper slices. The grilled peach salad was fine, but I wasn't hungry after the mezze plate.

Their fries and chorizo burger was amazing!

If you tend to eat a lot this might be an expensive place for you. The food and service were great but for my one item, I was pretty disappointed how much food I actually got compared to how expensive it was (short rib hash). Yes, supporting local business is important and a little more expensive. I'd say give it a try! I still wanna go back once for those mussels though.... So might have to update this rhen!

We have been enjoying mussels and frites at this restaurant for many years but the current offering in yellow curry sauce may be the best of the bunch. Service was prompt as usual and the prices reasonable. The onion soup and pinot Grigio are recommended too.

Took friends who have never been to Park Bruges. Best description is that their reaction was just as gloriously happy as ours was the first time we went five years ago. You can't beat consistent quality.

My favorite restaurant for a date night! Our server is always great. I’m such a regular she knows exactly what my fiancé and I want to drink. The mussels are my favorite and so flavorful. This will always be in my top 5 best restaurants in the city. The service and food is great!

My husband and I went to the zoo and were looking for a place to sit down and have lunch. We found the restaurant by accident. The food was great. I had the best Onion soup I ever had. It was full of onions not soggy bread and very flavorful. The bread id divine. I highly recomend you stop here if you are in the area.

The burger I got and fries was very good. I'm definitely returning. It was grass fed beef so it's better for you but overall everything was delicious 😋.

Hands down best restaurant in Highland Park, and IMHO Western PA. I even like it more than the original in Point Breeze (because I can walk to this one ;) ).
