The fresh tagliatelle, handmade ricotta and lasagna we tried were super delicious!

This isn't a restaurant. You buy awesome stuff and go home and cook it. The sweet potato ravioli is my favorite paired with the Alfredo sauce.

Great spot to get your Italian supplies including a good pasta selection, sauces, meats.

Not easy finding good Italian in Charlotte, especially being picky after growing up in an Italian community up north. Really enjoyed everything we purchased. So convenient buying the pomodoro sauce, chicken Marsala, cavatelli, Parmesan, zucchini and focaccia for two nights of dinners. Everything was delicious. Will be back as the have such a wide selection.

A Charlotte staple. Incredible food to pop in the oven OR to make yourself! It's ALL good! The folks that work here are also extremely helpful and kind. They are very knowledgeable! We like to run in and grab a quick dinner - usually consists of a frozen dish of stuffed shells, a bottle of wine and a fresh baguette! AMAZING!

I was excited to try this place ! Went with gals recommendation n got the meat lasagna take home small entree. Followed instructions and it was cooked perfectly . Great quality ingredients , tasted great, but only complaint is it seemed as if they forgot to add cheese lol. None on top of lasagna which Is odd, and sad to say it definitely needed the ricotta n mozzarella as it barely had any. Would of been amazing if it had the necessary amount . The Canolis were made to order and they were amazing ! Will give this place another try as they have a lot to offer.

Been coming here at least 20 years now with several changes of management. The other reviews focus on the prepared foods and the semi-prepared ones, but it's also a great source of hard-to-find ingredients like guanciale, high-quality imported pastas, and San Marzano tomatoes. The locally sourced ricotta from Mooresville is killer! One thing you gotta try: get their house-made focaccia and a tub of their gorgonzola-artichoke dip. You can make a meal of that. Just bread and dip, but wow. I do miss the onion-topped focaccia however (discontinued 10 years ago).

I was in town visiting. I got the eggplant parmesan. A little disappointed because while it was tasty and the sauce delicious, it wasn't eggplant parm. Just sliced eggplant in marinara. Maybe rename it so customers aren't confused?

Love this market. Goods are a little pricy but worth every penny. We are always keeping the house stocked with their tortellini, lasagna, meatballs and par-baked baguettes. This is my go to location for good EVO. Then, the fresh pasta with all the options. Love to use their sheets for my homemade lasagna. Will also grab a bottle or two of their recommended wines to enjoy with dinner. Have rarely gone wrong here.

Fantastic pasta, sauces, premade dinners, best olive oil etc

Our absolute favorite place for take-it-and-make-it at home pasta, meatballs, wine and pizza! With delicious fresh pasta and bread. Alyssa was super helpful showing us exactly what to get for making pizza at home. Also fantastic wine recommendations. She’s fun and obviously experienced and knowledgeable. Liza the manager is also super warm, welcoming and fun. Highly recommend!

Try the vegan pesto with (as recommended) lemon pepper linguini. The almond cream cake is to die for! Such great service too!

They have great fresh pasta and focaccia! Also a good selection of delu meats, cheeses, frozen pasta dishes, dried pasta and other great selections.

This place is simply the best. There isn’t a thing we’ve tried that we didn’t like. The chicken and the meat lasagna are staples in our house. The par-baked baguettes are to die for, and paired with any one of the spreads they sell, it’s phenomenal. But my favorite thing about pasta and provisions, this location in particular, is the level of service you receive. Often times I come in with my daughter who is a toddler. They always help me to carry my items to the register, interact with her, hold the door for me, etc. It’s just so refreshing to go to a place where they take such good care of each and every clients needs!

I can't recommend this place enough for some of the best and local Italian food. It's a lil place in the Charlotte neighborhood, but if you can slow down and find parking, it is absolutely worth it. When you walk inside, you're immediately in a cozy shop with lots of wine, fresh bread, and pasta being made in the back. There's focaccia near the front with other ingredients. Then in the freezers, there's great treats like tiramisu, pizza, and lasagna. I ordered a pistachio, plain, and chocolate cannoli along with focaccia, tiramisu, and a cheese pizza. Everything tasted amazing and I cannot wait to visit this shop again.

Always good to great with lots of taste options to choose from... I love the charm and atmosphere and uniqueness. Parking and traffic can be a challenge for this historic store.

Absolutely love this place. Walked out spending almost $200 on everything you can imagine. The raviolis were great along with the ciabatta bread. Also picked up some dough, cheese, and pepperoni to make stuffed bread which came out delicious. Highly recommend if you are from the north and having a Italian craving

Best fresh pasta I have had in Charlotte! It's so easy to pop in and grab a full meal (and wine to go with!) and then take it all home and it's ready in minutes. I have put together a pasta, sauce, baguette and wine for friends birthdays and they love it! Everyone there is so helpful and friendly especially if you need help pairing a pasta/sauce or meal/wine! Would definitely recommend!

I visited this restaurant/market place twice with and without my family while in town and I like it so much. Great place. Food is freshest, delicious and tasty! Portions are good. A lot of vegetarian options. Staff is super welcoming! Oh and polite, absolutely great serving. Reasonable prices. Highly recommending....

Where to even begin? I first learned of this gem when I had my first baby and my lovely neighbors brought us a lasagna and bread. I’m Italian, so my standards are high. This lasagna was INSANE. So good!!! Since then I’ve had many, many of their pastas chicken dishes and other things. Secondly, the customer service is soooo good! They are so so sweet and kind! This place is truly a neighborhood gem! Highly recommend!! Perfect for easy meals, gifts, guests from out of town, etc!

The most amazing service at the counter

My first time going here made me very happy. I told them when I walked in that I hadn't been there before, and one of the gentlemen walked me around and showed me where everything was. After looking around, I determined I wanted 12 meatballs in pomodoro sauce, and an extra container of sauce. I asked for a pound of fresh pasta and ended up getting the rosemary garlic pasta. Because it was my first time there, they gave me the pasta for free! Upon preparing the food at home, I was pleased that both the meatballs and the sauce were good, like it was from an Italian restaurant. I'll be back to try some of their other stuff for sure.

You want direction and how to order, good luck. First time customer, didn’t see a menu, just a board with all the things listed already on the refrigerator door. I hear it’s great, never got service or even a word of welcome.

For the first time since living in the south I feel like I have found a place that reminds me of family. I love Pasta & Provisions in Charlotte. I just moved here from NY and have been on the search for great pasta and sauce. None will ever taste as good as my Grandma’s and Aunt Nancy’s but Pasta & Provisions comes close. I love their marinara, meatballs and vodka sauce. The eggplant parm is great too and the fresh pasta and focaccia. So happy I found P&P!

Had a great experience eating the lasagna.

I am visiting CLT from Cleveland and this was my first time at Pasta and Provisions. It was a little chilly so we were looking for a place to grab homemade soup, and I saw online that Charlotte natives swear by Pasta and Provisions. Since it was our first time, we got free fresh pasta with our Italian wedding soup and chicken piccata. Liza and Chris served us and were seriously THE nicest people. I felt like we could’ve talked to them all day, so down to earth and helpful. My friend is a charlotte native and plans to be a returning customer after how blown away we were by this store and the service here. I could not say enough awesome things! Thank you Chris and Liza, cannot wait to try everything we got!

Yesterday was my first time to visit this charming store filled with everything good!! They were so welcoming and helpful. I purchased 2 pints of a spicy sauce, 2 pounds of freshly cut black peppered pasta, fresh basil, a manicotti and a beautiful baguette. Dinner was so delicious and the pasta so tasty and fresh. I will definitely be back.

I went here for the first time recently and it was such a neat place. Good selection of pastas, friendly, helpful staff and a good location. I didn’t try the kitchen fresh food as it was closed but the pasta Ingot and cooked was delicious!

Best Italian market in Charlotte!! Reminds me of home…NY. Prosciutto melts in your mouth without any harsh salty taste. Mortadella is just delish as well! Homemade pastas are pretty good along with their sauces for all of us that get lazy and don’t want to make their own. Fresh mozzarella is brought in by UV. When fresh , it’s delish! Check expiration date though. Ours went bad in just 2 days! Hence, 4 stars instead of 5! Our go-to place for sure!!

Being a recent transplant from Chicago I was looking for a true Italian deli and good purveyor. From the moment I walked through the door I know I was home. As an Italian, I know that I will never find the real mozzarella I grew up with. I bought the U.A.V. fior di latte mozzarella to give it a chance and support local producers, but please do not waste your money on that product! That mozzarella is like a rock and taste just like water... there are better mozzarella around and local too!

This is one of the best places to go for fresh locally handmade pasta! If you ever want that little oomph to take dinner to the next level try using their pasta and I promise you it will elevate your dinner to new heights, its also faster (cooks in 2-3 min) as well as more fragrant and savory Today I went with the Roasted Garlic and Garlic Rosemary pasta along with a nice red wine for valentine's day dinner Also got the tomato and parmesan focaccia bread as a snack in between

Everyone is friendly and helpful. Have purchased frozen and fresh items from the pasta and risotto to the authentic Italian deli items. All are very good. It’s become a regular stop where you can’t go wrong with any choice especially if you like a little adventure.

The homemade pastas, sauces and breads are to die for! Try the Vodka sauce with the lobster ravioli and some gorgonzola artichoke cheese spread with the rosemary focaccia bread!!
