Great pizza . The thin pizza is crispy and very tasty. They no longer do their own delivery.

Amazing thin crust and deep dish pizzas. The fried ravioli is good too. The staff are always smiling and friendly.

Honestly ... It's not a deep dish pizza. It's a stuffed pizza. The crust is not it and food not very flavorful. Tastes like pre made or box pizza dough. Also meatballs we ummm fine. Nothing special here and salad skip it only store bought dressing and should be called ice berg lettuce on a throw away plate as it came with very very little cheese and minimal toppings.

So glad we made the drive down. The place is straight out of Northside! Chicago memorabilia and old photos from the hood before Paul moved to Florida. The service counter takes your order with a smile, and you can be seated at a table. We started with the Chicago chopped salad, complete awesomeness, just like I used to make. My husband ordered the house special thin crust pizza, and I had the Italian beef. There was not a crumb left on the plate just like we were taught in our youth. Smiles for miles and bellies satisfied. Highly recommend this place.

I just bought a home around the corner and tried Paul’s Chicago Pizza. As soon as I walked in I was stunned at the beauty of Marissa behind the counter! Marissa recommended the thin pizza and WOW it was fantastic! This is now my go-to pizza place for sure!

I have had some good Chicago Pizza before and for this place being in Florida, it was great! The cashier was very kind and informative. The deep dish(stuffed) pizza was very delicious and I would recommend it for any pizza lover.

This is a great little pizza restaurant. I enjoy visiting when I am able. On my last visit, we had two pizzas. The service was incredible. There was only one girl working the counter but she was incredibly attentive, but what I liked the most was when she wasn't helping customers, she was cleaning. Difficult to find nowadays. The pizza is excellent St. Louis style pizza with a large variety of options.

Visited with some friends after playing paintball and had a great time. The pizza was excellent and the service was quick. A great place to grab a bite with some friends!

Very good Chicago tavern style pizza

I had the Classic Chicago Style Deep Dish Stuffed Pizza. Crust was excellent, sauce is good. Presention is a 10. Waaaaay too much cheese. So much cheese that it overwhelmed and overpowered everything else in the pie. It was basically like eating a big cheese stick. The potential is there. They just have to back off the cheese in a major way.

Out dated, old feeling. The old order first, pay, sit down in a cramped area. Felt dirty. Get your own drinks. Then, I waited 20 minutes for a terrible pizza. Very disappointed.I won't be back. Ownership, update the cloudy 32" TVs. I felt like I was back in 1995.

By far the best thin crust ever! I'm not in Chicago, NY, Denver, I'm in a shopping plaza in Clearwater, FL. Did a take and bake thin crust. Definitely follow the directions. Owner or Manager recommended pulling it off the tray the last 2 minutes. Little dicey but added the crispy crunch. By far the best thin crust we have ever had! Thank you! My wife said no one else! Can't wait to try the stuffed crust, we're big fans of Gino's East in Chicago. Super Impressed. Got leftovers for Breakfast

Moved to Florida from Illinois in 1989. After all these years there’s finally a place here locally that serves authentic tavern style Chicago pizza. Food was great as well as the service. Located near Ruth Eckerd Hall, this will be our go to place before attending a concert!

As a Chef and critic it's bad form not to try and write a honest review. Pauls Chicago pizza made it easy. I came in as the worst customer ever. Making sure my order was perfect and the way I like it. Bobby , Andrew and Darby made my day. With a Chicago fan atmosphere and a menu to match..Pauls Chicago is the place Togo. I ordered a Italian beef with sweet peppers. You could tell they didn't come from a can or jar ,because I am allergic to sodium benzoate a flavor preserative used In everything these days. I had it baptised in Aujus. They Normally call it dipped, but I had them exta toast the bun and count to 10 before bringing it up. With provolone cheese to make it authentic, it was the best sandwich I have eaten in my life hands down. I also ordered a small thin crust; true to the old school Chicago pizza fans. It was perfectly crispy golden brown, with just the right amount of browning on the cheese. I ordered a Chicago chopped salad with 2 freshly made and crispy meatballs on the side to add to my salad. The way I like. It came loaded with bacon and it was chopped just right; to Where I could still pick up ever bite with my fork. I also took home a Chicago stuffed pizza .Which just happens to be my favorite. Way better than Giordano's. All of this made me miss Saint Louis, which is just a hop skip and a jump away from Chicago. They do not offer a deep dish, but why would they. I leave places ,with complicated menu's. To much on the menu creates issues in restaurants and there menu is perfect for what it is and being so far from home. I had warned Sam the Manager ,that I would write a review 1 day after I had tried everything. So, came in on a day I knew he wasn't going to be there. So, if you are from Chicago; don't be that Guy that says, "I'm from Chicago ". I've been all over the United States and Pauls Chicago Pizza is the best pizza in the Contenital United States of America by far. If I could give you A Michelin Star for Comfort and Love you would have 2. I don't give out 10's ever ,ever. Not even Charley's Steakhouse my favorite steak joint. You deserve it. You will be missed. This place is just OK, when you arrive you walk into a dimly lit dinning room, the lights weren't even on,up to a small counter where you have to stand and look at a menu, you feel really rushed because others are behind you, placed our order and you have to pay right now and on our receipt a big tipping area, I know most people say that's normal right, but they haven't done anything yet. here's the kicker, after you order you have to get up to get your food and pour your drink's, they do not bring it to the table, then once you have finished you have to pick up your tray and food baskets and dump your waste and leave the tray's and baskets on the top of the trash can, you with me so far. I would like to know what the Hell I'm tipping for, this is no different than Burger King, McD's or any other fast food. The big one is the food is just ok, fairly small portions, had meatball sub 2 meatballs cut in half to look like four, small pizza where crust was 1 1/2 wide not much left for anything else. Everything here is self serve, so why are we tipping. Don't think we'll back any time soon, It's like they expect you to tip just because they are there. This tipping thing is out of control anymore. Tipping is for you're appreciation of good service and food, not just because you showed up to work.

First time I’ve tried Paul’s tonight!! The pizza was Amazing!! I also got the dry rubbed wings! If you LOVE extreme flavor - these wings are for you!! Fantastic but for me and my wimpy tongue , I had to wash some of the dry rub off, and reheat them in the air fryer!! And so delicious!!!

Had the deep dish meat lovers!! So yummy! Staff was super friendly, and the place was clean and super atmosphere! We are definitely going back!

Been living down here for 3 years, and I finally found the one! Best pizza I’ve had in FL. If you like Chicago thin crust look no further. There’s only so much flimsy northeast pizza a guy can eat. Can’t wait to go back and try the Italian beef.

Feels and smells like a true old school pizzs place. The chicago thin crust was the best in the around, and the service was awesome. The place was packed early on a Saturday.

Paul was taught by Bill from Guido's in spring hill but decided to put his own spin on it... imo big mistake! Sauce is to sweet and everything is just "off" Rizzoli is a better option if your looking for true Chicago pizza or take the drive to spring hill and visit Guidos

I like the food, pizza is great, but everytime I go there the prices go up n up. Last time $40 for a pizza, side salad (not even a full salad) n two sodas. A bit much if u ask me. So not a place I will go to often.

Apparently Paul's doesn't have calzone anymore. It would be nice if they removed it from their menu.

I'm from Cleveland and it's definitely hard to find good pizza here. I was impressed with Paul's! I got pepperoni, sausage and green pepper. It was delicious! I will be back! Besides, Eddie and Sam's in Tampa this is definitely the best in the Clearwater area!

Tried a deep dish pizza in Clearwater FL area. deep dish it was not. Was a stuffed pizza that probably had canned tomato puree for sauce with some bottled oregano mixed in sauce. Other ingredients were lacking. Mozzarella sticks tasted like something left under a heating lamp for hours. The mozzarella in the batter shall was still unmelted solid cube. No trace of it been cooked at all. Will fill your stomach but if you want good food experience, try elsewhere. It won't be any worse. You may just get lucky and have good food.

Thin crust pizza that was delicious, we got an Extra large House Pizza that has veggies and sausage, cooked to perfection. I love thin crust and crispy and it's that. Sorry no pics I was too hungry and forgot. I will say an extra large was just enough for about three adults because it's thin and a wee pricey @ $29.99 but it was good.

Order pronto and get hooked to the delicious pizza and the hospitality. The owner personally took my order. I love my pizza a certain way and man oh man he listen.

I grew up in Chicago. Enjoyed a Chicago Beef Sandwich with sweet peppers and seasoned fries. Best Chicago Beef I've had in a while. I like my sandwich soaked, to scuba dive deep in the au jus. This sandwich is better than Portillos!

Florida and pizza don't seem to work out all that often. I was pleasantly surprised by the thin corn crust pizza. Great flavor to the crust Sausage is nice. Best pizza in the area if I must say. I enjoyed the Italian beef as well. Satisfying when your craving a Midwest sandwich.

We have ordered the house special pizza (thin crust) twice now for delivery along with garlic knots. The pizza is fantastic. We have not tried the stuffed style pizza, but we definitely will soon.

I have been going here for years and the quality remains fantastic. One of my top two pizza places in Pinellas county. There's sausage and mushroom pizza is phenomenal.

TLDR ANY PLACE BUT THIS PLACE FOR ITALIAN BEEF. I saw reviews of this place saying they had one of the best Italian beef sandwiches in town. Stopped in on a windy day with a friend and sure enough that was their lunch special that day. $10.99 for the Italian beef the sign near the register stated. Total came to a little over $35 for 1 Italian beef with hot peppers and 1 Italian beef with sausage cheese and sweet peppers. I didn't think much of the price until after my sandwich was served to me. This was a ridiculously small sandwich with maybe 4 slices of gray roast beef. It honestly was nothing more than some ingredients from Walmart including some pre sliced roast beef that was flavorless. It wasn't topped with hot peppers or even dipped in the drippings you had to do that yourself with a Styrofoam cup that's a 1/4 of the size of the sandwich. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment. Just go to Publix next door.

Best pizza anywhere. Also love their meatballs, Chicago beef sandwich and Chicago dog. Staff is top notch in their service and the place is spotless. I highly recommend Paul’s to anyone who likes Chicago style pizza!

Run, don't walk to Paul's. Authentic stuffed (deep dish) Chicago classic sausage, tomato and cheese pizza. Grew up in Chicago with the greats. Unos, Dues, Lou Malnatti's. This is just as tasty. Unique fresh tomato sauce the best. Highly recommend.

I love Paul's. There's nowhere else around East Lake, for a Pie, that I'M aware of that can beat Paul's. Been going there for maybe 10 years since I discovered it. The search was a long one. Glad it's over. I don't mind the 20 minute Trek there at all. Do yourself a a favor.......

The thin crust pizza is authentic. The crust is crispy just like Chicago pizza restaurants make them. I would recommend asking for extra pizza sauce.on your pizza order. That's how I prefer it. More robust flavor and pizza smell.

We saw the positive reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was good with tv's and memorabilia on the walls. The server was very nice and helpful with our questions. Ordered a large Classic pizza. Food and drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Pizza was good, but not too different from the frozen pizza's at the grocery store. If you want to watch a game with your friends while eating decent food, this place is for you. If you're a pizza aficionado and are there solely for the food, you may want to try somewhere else.

If I could give this a zero across the board I would. Ordered some pies to go...this evening and trying to eat them as I write this. This is no better than a frozen pizza. - Crust: thumbs down - Sauce: thumbs down - Price: thumbs down I'm in Tampa and have better pizza quality food overall with selection, ingredients and taste. Flippers on Dale Mabry is hands down better! Sorry Clearwater but this is NOT good pizza. I ordered medium Sam's Special and House. Total was almost $50!!! I was robbed - sorely disappointed and NEVER returning. If you live in Clearwater, go to Cristino's!!! It's worth a little drive

My daughter and I just tried the stuffed pizza here with Italian sausage for the first time. It was delicious! Also honestly with the amount of amazing cheese they put on it, the price is really good. We will be back. Next time we will try their Chicago thin crust. Great place!
