First time trying kava. Not a fan. It hurt my stomach. Service was amazing and the place has a great vibe. Very sure they have regulars hanging out there.

First time having kratom, and first time in a long time in a kava bar. Kelly the owner was there and gave us the run down on everything. She was very informative and friendly. Plus the atmosphere is super relaxed, with an oxygen bar bar area to chill in, and a ping pong table. And the green kratom definitely gives a bit of energy and makes you feel good. Will come back.

Love Pause, order from them daily. Open late is a plus and they’re very communicative. If there’s any kind of issue, it will be made right 100%. Don’t hesitate to call. They will answer or call back whenever possible.

First time here…. kava drinker since 2015! Amazing atmosphere and truly beautiful beverages. The kava is superb. The “Functional Drink” tasted like the botanical drink I search for in all my Kava pursuits. Stephania was an amazing host and the community was welcoming to my new presence. Although it’s almost an hour away from home, I’m glad to say I’ll be coming again…. And again!

Quaint and cozy ambience in a dreamily lit house atmosphere. My kavatender Stephania did fantastically and was courteous and made my order quickly (with a magnetic personality)!. Everyone there is secretly awesome, those some may not know it.

Pause has the best atmosphere out of any other Kava bar that I have been to. I constantly hang out with a good group of regulars. They have awesome event nights like Hang Time and Ladies Night. Hang Time is an open mic night where people can share a variety of creative arts like music, poems, short stories and comedy. The service is wonderful here as well, so welcoming and so knowledgeable about their products. Come and have a drink with people. You won’t regret it!

Wow! This place is absolutely amazing. I have been coming for about 4 months now, and this place continues to grow on me. The atmosphere is super vibey; it's in a historic home and feels very cozy. The owner is extremely kind, always talking with customers and continually working on new ideas, events, and projects for the place. The workers are the best and quickly become friends. The people that come here are genuine and easy to talk to. Just a story that highlights how great this place is... My car broke down about 1 month ago, and I could not have been in a better place. The people immediately came out to help, offering advice; the workers came out with tools; and the owner gave us a free drink for the whole ordeal. I love coming here to study during the day. On Mondays, they put together an Open Mic which is a great way to decompress after the first workday of the week. They have coffee, kratom, kava, an oxygen bar, and some great snacks (highly recommend the pretzel). Overall, one of my favorite places in South Florida. Highly highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new spot to check out.

The best spot in Delray Beach for studying during the day or just hanging out at night. The staff and owner are the kindest people and always go above and beyond for their customers. They have a different deal every day of the week and multiple events, including Trivia Night and Hang Time, as well as a variety of card games and ping pong. Their kava, kratom, and oxygen bar are of incredible quality. Pause has something for everyone :)

Come check it out! Best priced kratom and kava in Delray and the decors and vibe is similar to Herb and Roots except it’s quieter during the day and there’s no pool. There is ping pong though! Dogs welcome, has a homey hippy vibe, and has bagels, muffins, snacks pizza and big pretzels. Ava the waitress is super sweet and we like her vibe much more than the other kava bars in Delray with the only exception being Herb and Roots. Parking in rear, and around. Mostly free.

Love this true local community hangout spot , I've met so many people here , love the regulars, it's functions as an actual community hangout spot. Cozy house living room vibes , great psychedelic gothic interiors and the bonfire outside was amazing. one of the best places to chill in Delray. the kava is seriously lacking tho :/ it's very watered down , it doesn't numb my body , it's known as having some of the worst kava . The varieties of kava here are also not good . Other then that I love pause to death , the Monday jams , the concerts , the beach cleanups , the random dj on a Thursday night, everything about this place is amazing .

Drink was good, food was terrible and odd vibe

Wow. I’m in shock right now. The employees left me on hold, unmuted, were gossiping about how “I may be that autistic girl” to justify refusing me customer service. I asked to speak to a manager after being rudely spoken to for a genuinely frustrating customer service. I never thought I’d be rating this place with one star but, here I am. Every single time I had ordered for my husband after work and he walked in, the drinks were beautiful. Yet, when I was frustrated with the service via Ubereats. My only order was 1 Damiana mango drink with 4-5 additional boosters…..which was completely spilled. It seems the restaurant was aware of this since, there was a tea included, which as I said, makes no sense since I only ordered 1 Damiana mango cold drink. I was not notified. I was gonna ask what that tea even is, why wasn’t I notified about this drink spilling. I wasn’t even given a chance to express & solve this situation with the employees defensive tone. Called the restaurant in hope we’d meet in the middle from how frustrating this was. This employee completely ignored everything I mentioned above; in a defensive tone he replied “Well, you said your boyfriend has come here before and there was no issue, so that’s not the restaurants fault”. He was so quick to judge and made so many personal assumptions. Was gossiping to another employee about how “I may be that autistic girl” that apparently gave them a hard time to justify refusing me service…This is the first time I’ve ever called this way, only my husband has walked in lol. Legit when I’m on the phone too, listening……..waiting to speak to a manager. It was truly eerie.

Just started the Kava experience 2 months ago.Been to 5 places.Pause by far has the best product and price within 40 miles.Great laid back private experience.Cool ppl and Electra's service n over:all vibe of the place while she works makes the kava experience happen ...ur missing out if ya don't go

This is the sickest lounge I’ve been to. The atmosphere is very inviting, especially with David aka Panda Land*** commanding the bar area with his great drink mixes, music vibes, and overall service.

I used to really enjoy this place and their kratom. Recently, the vibes have been suffering. Due to my most recent experience here, I will not be back. I watched the owner yell at and degrade an employee who always provided me with the best service!!! It was hard to watch. The owner needs to get it together and respect the people who serve their customers.

My bf and I are from denver and we saw this place on happy cow and I wasn’t so sure in the beginning but we ended up having a great night! Great staff!! Chloe was a ball of joy! Great personality made our night ! She heated up the Togo food we got and made us some amazing drinks. The food was really tasty too! Amazing interior, great environment. Inside there’s a private room great for studying and reading, along with a ping pong table available after purchasing two drinks. The outside environment is pleasingly aesthetic and comfortable. The workers are inviting and friendly. However my one big complaint is the pricing. Their sizes are small and their prices are higher than average for the kratom. Their mock tails are unique and yummy, but the plain kratom is definitely inflated for the size to price comparison. Even during happy hour, you’re paying more than regular. I guess with this kava bar you pay for the environment;)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10 stars if you ask me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PAUSE is my top 3 kava bar in the last 4 yrs. Brook really knows her stuff! I was able to enjoy my time. Tuesday they host trivia, @ 8 pm. There are many rooms to get lost in, inside and outside lounge, a special place most different then others. One particular spot in the back is set up like a lounging office with different sorts of games and books (quit spot). So many different areas to stay entertained. Spent 3 hrs, didn't get a chance to vibe in all the areas. Love this place...💜 Definitely coming back soon! Ps... perfect place to bring a date 😉😄

Wow, I don't know where to begin. When I was perusing the internet for Kava Bars, I was skeptical about the type of environment each one represented. I stumbled upon Pause..at131 and was immediately intrigued. The imagery of the place looks so inviting, that I made it a priority to check out the spot. When I pulled up to the venue, I noticed there was a lock on the door. I assumed it was closed and thought to not give up hope yet and called the number. The person who picked up was so professional and kind. Her communication skills were so impressive that I was instantly sold. When I walked into the place, I felt an immediate sense of safety. I felt that there were people who were just like me around and that we were all there for the same purpose. I engaged in deep conversation with the young lady that worked there a long with other kind folk who walked in. It was just so peaceful and I wished more places had the same vibe. I am so glad I came across this place and will be returning in the near future.

Pause is hands down one of the best kava bars I have been to. The kava is great and the atmosphere is very relaxing and the kavatender Dylan is awsome and very knowledgeable about there products......Highly recommend checking out this place you definitely will not regret it.

3rd kava bar I've been to. It's a really nice atmosphere and pretty similar to the others I've visited as far as the couches and lighting but nice.super friendly bartender. Not sure it was as quality kava as I've had in other places but I'm not an expert so take that last comment with a grain of salt
