Got the Sexz Wings. I liked them much better at the wing fest the first time I tried them. Not my favorite this go round. Maybe don’t get them to go because the sugar just becomes more melted due to the steam versus the textured coating there going for. $18 for 8 wings was a bit pricey but the wings were cooked well. I’d try them again, just in a different flavor. I also ordered the cheese pizza. I didn't like it at all. The crust was the worst. The crust was thin and soft. I like a thin and crispy New York crust. If it's going to be soft, make it fluffy at least. Customer service was good.

I've heard about this place for a while now but never tried it out until now! And boy are we glad we finally did! Being from New York I am very picky about my pizza and living in South Florida its hard to find a good pizzeria. I never had Chicago style pizza and The Chicago Blaze pizza did not disappoint! It looked amazing and my husband and I could not wait to dig in! The burnt tops of our mouths was proof that this pie was amazing! Crispy, spicy and full of flavor. We can't wait to go back and try other pies and sandwiches!

Everyone was very friendly, especially Shelly. Food was good, just like I remember from home-Chicago. Got the cheese pizza and a veggie pizza. Yum 😋 loved all the Chicago memorabilia on the walls. Worth the 25 mile drive.

The staff was absolutely fantastic! They were very friendly and made it feel like I was one of them. As I waited for my pizza I got to see how generous and mindful the staff was towards each customer. You’re not anybody who walks in you’re SOMEBODY! I’ll make sure to always grab a pie when I visit Delray Beach!

So after seeing so many wonderful reviews and being a native Chitown girl myself.. finally got the chance to stop in to Windy City Pizza, and we were not disappointed! First and foremost are server, Christian was such a delight, you can tell young and still not jaded from the industry. Unfortunately, though, he is taking some AP classes, and this was his last night for a time to come. He was so attentive and so helpful, and I wish everyone could be this way when we go out. On to the food. We were surprised to be given an order of garlic rolls, which were delicious, but we didn't want to fill up before the main delights! We ordered the sexy style Wings which are dry rubbed and they were delicious but different... not everyone's cup of tea, I would say. We also shared the pepperoni pizza, which we added fresh garlic, and it was just delicious, and then to make it even better, they have this "Crushn" smoke seasoning, and it just put it over the top! I can't wait to come back and try their Italian beef. We did also have two glasses of wine and two beers!

The pepperoni and garlic pizza was amazing, we had the sexy wings and they were good but kind of interesting. Garlic knots were awesome, highly recommend this place. And our server Christian could not have been nicer.

Outstanding visit today. Being from Chicago area, very impressed with the sausage pizza, reminds me of Rosatis back home. The Italian beef sandwich was amazing, I’d prefer more meat but the owner told me they’ll add more meat on request. Outstanding server also! Only negative is it was very warm in there, maybe the AC was down today. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I recently moved to Delray and had been looking for a casual pizza spot to frequent in the area. We decided to try Windy City Pizza, and we were absolutely shocked at how delicious the food was! The pizza was perfectly cooked with a delicious crust and generous toppings. Not only was the food amazing, but the portions were incredibly generous for such an affordable price. We felt like we got fantastic value for our money, which is always a plus. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do, and it really enhanced our dining experience. Windy City Pizza has quickly become our go-to spot for pizza in Delray. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and excellent value!

We had the Windiy City Deep Dish with sausage. It was the best Chicago Deep Dish Pie we have had in Florida. Would highly recommend and can't wait to try some of their other Chicago offerings. :)

Had dinner here tonight. The food was top notch, some of the best pizza I have ever had, but what impressed me the most was the customer service. The owner waited on us and I can’t say enough good things about her. A guy came in that was clearly down on his luck and asked for some food and she cooked him a small pizza at no charge. This is the kind of service that will make me a repeat customer for life. If you are in Delray make sure you stop in.

This place is 5 star all the way. Food is phenomenal as is the staff. It's also family owned which is huge for me being a small business owner myself. I prefer to go to family run businesses

We took a drive from Pompano Beach to Delray Beach today to try their Thin Crust Chicago Style Pizza at Windy City Pizza. It was excellent. Best we’ve tasted in Florida for a long time. They had lots of specials, too. definitely worth the drive. Service was great and restaurant was busy. Shelly was so personable and great customer service - worth the drive - be back soon!

You can tell it’s family owned & operated, because immediately upon entering, I was greeted with such a warm welcome- it felt like home! They truly care about their customers and community. Absolutely perfect hole-in-the-wall place to get all of your favorites. I got the chicken Parmesan sandwich and I swear I couldn’t think about anything but how good it was as I ate it. The fries are perfectly crispy and my husband got the wings. They weren’t kidding when they said jumbo because they were HUGE and also delicious. Thank you for the perfect lunch experience.

Beef is legit, au jus is on point--and yes this is better than Portillos and there's no MSG in it so I don't feel sick afterwards. The pie is amazing-flavorful flaky, crunchy crust, feels like being back home in Chicago. Highly recommend!!!

Just flew in after a week on Bimini and Windy City really took care of us and blew us away!! Two pizzas and OHHH those garlic knots were exactly what we needed after 7 days of fried conch and peas & rice. We've traveled all over the US and eaten a lot of Chicago style pizza as well, but Windy City in Delray Beach is some of the best ever.

The best Chicago pizza in South Florida. It’s my most favorite comfort food ever. My Husband swears by the Wrigley Combo Sandwich. The appetizers are delicious too. The food is consistently good and fast. Sometimes we order and pick up. If you eat in the service is good too. It is definitely worth the trip!

Amazing! Homemade authentic thin crust...sauce...and toppings on the best pizza I have eaten in my life! But let me tell you about my appetizer...OMG! The most delectable Sexzwangs!! Yes that's spelled as in menu! These Crispy..yes that's a capital C...sweet and tangy wings are so full of flavor. 24 hour herb marinate..Sriracha and brown sugar crisp....I will be back! Next time it's Italian Beef (with wangs as an appetizer of course!) You will not be disappointed by the food or the great service. Family owned!!!

Horrible! You have to order online for delivery. They use Grub Hub. Driver called and said he could not find my house. B S the for for my address on Google is right on my house. I corrected the address as he. Had the wrong one when he called I even put a strobe light on my car. Then no delivery and he would not answer my calls and voice mail was full. Called Grub Hub and they said the driver texted me a photo of where he left it. No text and office could not send it. Called the resturant who was rude and said they take no responsibility. So don’t use grub hub and don’t order from Windy City pizza using delivery. Not even an “I’m sorry”

Do not order for delivery here via Grub Hub. Grub hub driver said he could not find my house and read back the wrong address. GPS shows my house location exactly. They said the driver sent me a text photo of the drop off. Never got a text. Asked their office to send me the photo but they said they could not. Total mess! I called the restutamt and they said "we are not tesponsible and the kitchen is closed" and started yelling at me when I said they should make it right as they use Grub Hub. They said if I don't like it I should use another delivery company. I ordered from their website so Grub Hub was their choice nnot mine. Horrible attitiude and never usng them ahain. I would not use them if you have to get delivery.

Once again windy city did not disappoint from the food quality to the friendly mom and pop attitude. The 32 mile trip from Pompano was well worth it . When ever possible support small businesses.

I regret not finding this place earlier and not taking pics of the food. I’ve had meatball subs at other places and they were just ok but this place…..WOW! I’m Italian and I’ve never had a better meatball sub anywhere else. Mom, our server was awesome too! My wife had the chicken parm, said it was fantastic. My sister had the Chicago hot dog and my brother had the pizza and said it was the best they’ve had too! We live 40 minutes away but I will make this drive just for the food and service. You will not regret coming here.

I was visiting Delray for a work trip this week and realized I had not eaten any lunch. I found Windy City Pizza on Uber Eats and as a Chicago native myself, I could not pass up this opportunity while in FL. They killed it with the tavern style pizza. I am a huge pizza enthusiast and this is better than most pizza you will find in Chicago. You truly do feel like family when you are here, including when I mentioned that I hadn't had lunch and it was 3pm "Mom" offered me a drink on the house and tried to open my box and have me eat a slice before I left. I truly felt cared for. I visit once a month. I can assure you each trip will include a visit here!

We went because the invention of Deep Dish Pizza (per someone in Chicago,) is 05 April....an auspicious day, as it is also my birthday! So, naturally, had to have deep dish and didn't want to drive 2.5 hours to Orlando for Uno's.... The pie was wicked awesome...a pie of legend, weighing in at at least 5 pounds and saying it will feed four (if they are normal eaters it will feed Eight though...it is MASSIVE). Crust had firmness and texture, perfectly done. Filling was copious amounts of Chicago Sausage, Pepperoni and green peppers...the sauce was sweet, but not too sweet and NOT chunky, but smooth... One taste and you knew it was a labor of love.... NOTE: it takes about 40-45 minutes to cook, so prepare for a wait (order an appi and a beer) or order ahead. As an aside, and it doesn't affect the FIVE star rating...I would have preferred the green pepper slices to be slightly thicker...so they had more of a crunch, but that's just me... We will be back! Well worth it!!

I was Looking forward to trying something new. Windy City got good reviews, and they said they had thin crust. I can’t believe what the pizza looked and tasted like. Just like my Italian grandmother used to make from scratch. It doesn’t have a pizza restaurant flavor, it has a homemade flavor. And as promised, nice and thin. This should not be an afterthought, but the service was very good and the staff was extremely nice!

Was visiting my family in Boynton Beach and came across Windy City Pizza. We are from the Chicago area and have moved away and by the name we were hoping to get the kind of pizza we are used to back home. They did not disappoint. It was excellent and reminded us of home. We had a sausage, a pepperoni and a cheese pizza and all were tasty. If you want good Chicago type pizza, try Windy City Pizza.

Finally found Chicago Style Pizza here in South Florida!! Yeah! A little taste of home. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try your other items.

This is my new favorite pizza🍕 place! The delicious thin, crispy crust... cut into small squares to please everyone and offer a taste to share. The little bread bites were amazing. We sat outside, which was fine weather-wise, but noisy traffic going by. Next time we'll sit inside or do take-out!

Picked up a large pie extra cheese. Crust was very burnt even in the center. The pizza maker was busy on his cellphone, so he probably didn't notice it was getting overdone. Cheese and sauce were good, but crust was like a rock. Disappointing.

The Pizza was just amazing! My friend had the Chicken Caesar salad and had to take most of it home, it was so large. She loved the dressing! We had a medium pizza between the two of us and took home leftovers. Shelly, our server, was fabulous! Just a bit better than the garlic puffs they serve, gratis, at the table. 😄 Eric, the owner, came to see how everything was. Just amazing hospitality. I will definitely be back and bring new people to experience Windy City.

Overall I really like this place. Reminds me of Chicago, my birth place. Really great beef sandwiches with jardiniera and au-jus. Just a dollar extra to make it a lunch combo with a drink and fries. Their fries are really good too. I have tried several of their pizzas and the thin crust style is also nice. I liked the sausage and the white pizza the most. They have a points club as well but it is not always clear how to redeem it. I am a big fan of this establishment.

We had a group of 5 people, and Shelly was our server. She was really friendly and she had our orders out in a timely manner. The food was fantastic. We order 3 different pizza pies and some appetizers. Everything was on point. I highly recommend Windy City Pizza

We actually ordered via Uber Eats (Big Mistake!) the driver only collected one of two pizzas which was very cold and then didn’t go back to deliver the second and cancelled our order. BUT the manager personally delivered two hot pizzas within a short time.

We ordered pizzas to be delivered through Uber eats. They were an hour and a half late and Only brought us one pizza. We ordered two. The pizza was ice cold. I called Windy City to ask if we can have a hot Pizza sent. When they looked, Uber Eats canceled the order, so they wouldn’t get paid. Eric, told me he was putting a new pizza in the oven for me and would personally deliver it. Half hour later 2 Hot and fresh pizzas were brought to me. He turned what could’ve been a disastrous night with To a great experience. The exceptional customer service has made me a client for life!

First time in here tonight, I showed up just before closing. The ownership and staff weren't bothered at all. They were very generous and hospitable. The place was clean, well kept and you can tell these folks take great pride in their business. The pizza I had was the Windy City pizza, it was absolutely delicious, flavorful with some kick. I highly recommend this restaurant, and can't wait to come back.

Didn’t want to go all the way down Atlantic to deal with the crowd and pay an arm & a leg for pizza. called ahead and showed up 5 min after, it was ready within no time. I’m not a pizza person, but i absolutely will be coming back. A great price. The pizza was soooo so good. I haven’t found any food like this since I’ve been in delray. I’ll be talking about this place for a few days :)

It seemed odd to hear about thin pizza from Chicago, but that's what they serve here. The pizza is well made, and they make it to your liking. It would be good if they had more choices, but it's a good place and it's affordable.

Where do I start South Florida? I am from Chicago and please believe me, Windy City thin crust reminded me of home. I also got the sexzwangs. These wings were sweet with a hint of spice, a must try. I would drive back to Delray specifically for these wings again. Thirdly, I got what we call the Italian combo, they called it the Wrigley combo, Italian sausage and Italian beef combo. Once again, these options were so good I had to share with all of you. I almost smashed before the photo so please forgive me .

Being a former Chicago resident I loved Windy City Pizza because is an autentic Chicago Parlor, It relly is! The Pizza es is great , flavor was delicious. I will be back any time !!

I was looking for thick crust but they only offer thin. We got the white pizza and meat lovers. Both had great toppings, but unfortunately the crust was soft and had no crisp to it. It was disappointing.

How did I not know it was here, especially since I’m always on the quest for Great Pizza! Chicago ownership. Nicest people. My first pizza: medium thin crust mushroom. Of course, I ate two slices on the way home! Isn’t that normal? This crust is incredible - the entire pizza…delicious. 10 stars!!!

Love the crunch of the firm thin crust 14" pep pie I got to day. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect, and the pep was pretty fire, too. Garlic bites and zeppole were decent. The pizza is the winner. Great prices and quality. I'll be back in another 2 weeks.

Came in with a friend and only ordered a Chicago dog at first which was the the worst. Very small and soggy. I asked for no sport peppers . I got sport peppers almost zero relish and no celery salt. I also told her I was going to order a large order to go. I ordered a large pizza half and half. 2 Italian beef sand. To build at home , asked for extra Beef sauce. So they gave me nothing but the sauce and left all the other ingredients out. And ordered an Italian salad. $83.00. $3.99 for credit card . I mentioned it and the owner said there’s a sign right there. A faded tiny reciept sign down low on the back of the receipt Mach. Who can see that??? I suggested he put a bigger sign and then he said I will have to raise my prices. After years we won’t be back. We always came from Deerfield beach.

Legit Chicago Pizza and much more Chi town deliciousness. Love the thin crust. Chicago Blaze and Johnny Hancock. Service was outstanding. Everything we got was fresh to order. My only complaint is kitchen can get the restaurant a lil smokey, but it wasn't too bad. Just be prepared to smell like Mike Ditka if you're eating in. 🥸🌭🍕🐻

It's a different take on pizza from what I'm used to. I'm from New York city and we know pizza. This place is very good. Owner and staff are nice and very helpful. Definitely make a stop here if your in the area.
