Update July 16th 2024: I was so excited to see it reopened after a long renovation until I went into the restaurant. From the menu and interior.. everything wasn't the same. It looks like the ownership changed as I couldn't find the lady that used to run the restaurant. I got gyro platter with baba ghanoush and hummus. The platter now only includes one side dish! The cashier was nice. When I received the food though.. I don't know if I wanna be back. First of all, the portion is way smaller than it used to be. Rice is probably about 2/3 of the original portion, meat is definitely about half less than how much we used to get. Hummus was also way too small.. it was disappointing. I will post the picture of what I got for the gyro platter ((the one in togo container)). Mind you I took a photo after I had a few bites. The flavor is good but I miss the old Petra grill. All in all, I don't know if I want to be back. Previous review: Was here for the first time yesterday and the food was really really good! We got a gyro platter, chicken shawarma platter and hummus. Platters come with two sides of your choice. Everything was delicious. The place was clean and the lady was very nice. Do expect some wait (20 min+) as the lady is the only one working there - she takes all the orders and makes all the food. With that said, I overheard that the restaurant doesn't take phone calls so do take that in mind. Will definitely return!

Amazing taste! Best halal food in town.As far as i understand, they have a new owner and they just started their business. The taste of food was amazing. We tried beef shawarma, chicken cajun panini (spicy) and baby chicken/fries menu. Everything tasted amazing!! And not expensive. Pretty affordable

Easily one of my favourite lunch places in Raleigh; the food is always amazing and the atmosphere is relaxed. My favourite meal is the lamb gyro with fries.

Me and another customer stood in the line for 5 minutes without so much as a hello i will get to you in a moment .. the other lady who entered with me ended up leaving because she still was not serviced or greeted i then still waited an additional 3 minutes and still was not helped not greeted or anything as Iam now still sitting here writing this review she has still not greeted me and this is very unfortunate and unprofessional a simple greeting would have at least made me feel like i wouldn’t mind waiting i will not be returning

The food here is so flavorful and delicious! Comes out so fresh and you can tell is made with love and attention unlike so many places out there now. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Such a nice change of pace from standard fast food.

Portions were big compared to the price which was nice.My co worker and I both ordered different items and thought they were amazing.The falafel and gyro.

Someone on Reddit suggested this as one of the more authentic Mediterranean places in the Triangle, so I decided to try it when in the area today. I got the kefta beef wrap, & it was delicious! The fries were excellent also. I definitely have enough of the wrap leftover for a second meal. Be prepared to wait as there was only one employee taking orders & cooking. But if you aren't in a hurry, it is well worth your time to wait.
