Philly Dietitian is excellent, I highly recommend! Theresa worked with me in a straightforward yet kind manner to address some disordered eating habits and help me prepare for races and competitions. She has a lot of experience, which is helpful. She was able to give me handouts when I needed them so that I could refer to what we talked about and keep on track more easily. The process of signing up, doing a 'what do you eat in a day' food logging activity, and contact between sessions was all very easy. We did video chat sessions so it was very convenient to meet. Theresa does her best to make sure her clients have what they need to succeed, and that includes being accessible to them between/after meetings, which is really incredible! While I think Theresa is a great fit for many people on many different journeys, I would especially recommend Theresa to athletes (including high endurance/marathoners), women, people who struggle with perfectionistic tendencies, and those with a history of complicated food relationships.

Theresa was an incredible help during one of the most difficult times of my life. Last year, I was very ill and could not eat without serious intestinal pain and random fevers. At one point my most recent gastro thought I had Crohn's disease and put me on steroids which did nothing. He wanted to put me on biologic therapy medication, but I wanted to find another way. I had seen about 15 specialists before I got in touch with Theresa. Theresa helped me discover that my illness had a lot to do with my damaged gut and lack of proper nutrition. Because my inflammation was so severe, I ended up going on a liquid only diet for about a week and Theresa guided me with food reintroduction and figuring out which foods I was still reacting to. She helped me find safe recipes and responded quickly when I was in a crisis. She also encouraged me that I would be able to eventually eat my favorite foods again, but I just had to take the time to recover. I'm happy to say that I'm now able to eat my favorite foods again, while also maintaining a balanced, nutritious diet filled with probiotics and gut health support. Whatever was causing the inflammation is now in full remission. Thank you, Theresa!
