Great pho broth and servings are big

Our food was delicious (#31) and the bathroom were very clean.

Everything I ordered was tasty but the pork chop was a bit dry and served with a butter knife.

Haven't been in this place for a while but great food. Recommended

This Vietnamese restaurant in Annandale is pretty good. It is part of a different ownership chain. The Vietnamese scrape is pretty good as well as the marinated beef cube. It is very tasty. We also enjoyed the fish clay pot. It is caramelize fish in a clay pot and comes out sizzling. It is delicious. We enjoyed our food at this restaurant and service is pretty good. The typical grilled meat with rice is also pretty tasty or on top of vermicelli noodle.

Pho Hai Duong is a fantastic spot in Annandale for fresh Vietnamese flavors, and the folks that run it have a very welcoming energy! Their vegetarian options are fantastic, especially the Bánh Xèo Chay, which is a delightfully crispy crepe filled with tofu and veggies that you wrap in lettuce and dip into a deliciate and savory yet sweet sauce. I'll definately be ordering it again. If you dine in, they're very attentive, service is quick, and the food comes out piping hot. The dining area has a warm glow from the lighting, and it's very clean and cozy. If you order take-out, everything is packaged really well for transit. 10/10 would recommend!

Was wanting just an ice coffee for the road, so I stopped by here. Did not know there was a $10 minimum for card pay and the cashier didn't seem pleased but went ahead anyways with my order. I tipped an extra buck but I really shouldn't have. Ended up paying $7 for a barely half filled cup! I literally finished it in a couple of sips. I've never received such little amount at any other Viet place. If you didn't want to take my order, I gladly would have gone elsewhere. I'm never coming back here again as there are a hundred other Viet establishments in the area that won't cheat you like here.

In my opinion, best in the falls Church / Annandale / Springfield area. Go almost once per week.

Went there for early dinner so parking was not an issue. I had Pho with chicken. The broth is absolutely delicious. The Shrimp Garden Rolls are made fresh and a must appetizer. Our servers were Huang & Phong who were attentive.

Ordered take out and was disgusted by what I got. Hair on the meat and I asked for the hoisin sauce and got a tea spoon of hoisin sauce in the container. I asked for sate sauce as soon as I opened the lid the smell over whelmed me and I look at it closely and I see a slimy brown thing in the container that made me loose my appetite. It all went in the trash! Disgusting. We used to order from here one a once a week not sure what happened but I will never be getting food from here ever!

No complaints with the pho we got. My dad always looks for if onions are offered at a pho place, and this place does. Can't really say anything for other food items but we do like the pho here.

Even with all the Vietnamese restaurants in the area, I feel that this place is one of my usual go to. Located in a small shopping center off the main road, you could miss it. Inside is decorated like most pho shops. Depends on the day it can be busy. I find their food is pretty consistent every time I go. I always go with my favorite, Bun Bo Hue and my wife usually get vermicelli bowl. Their cha gio is always crispy and hits the spot! We usually like to get other items here and there to try. Service is pretty quick and prices are competitive with other restaurants. If I have to nitpick sometimes it does smell like cleaning solution inside. I definitely recommend checking this place out when you have a craving for Vietnamese food!

Had combination vermicelli. Shrimp was small and fried, not grilled. Pork was too dry and could not even bite, one table man was on the phone, speaker phone entire time I was there, next table made a complaint but no one control the man with speaker phone. Not going there anymore

Their pho bowls used to be $8.95, now it’s $14.95 within a year, inflation or not, no pho is worth $14.95. The whole dish was 95% noodles and 5% beef if your lucky to even find the small bits hidden within the noodles.

This is a nice winter meal! I love the pho here! The pork spring rolls are really good to! The hot tea is nice and the service is good! Highly recommend!

Never tell customers to hurry up and place the order. Even in the nicest tone, it would come out rude. Duck noodle soup (bun mang vit) was not done right. It was not the right soup base, the bamboo not the right kind, the rice noodle was poor quality (the noodles were broken and coming apart), the duck was definitely not fresh and smelled microwaved. Hai duong noodle (mi hai duong kho) was not that tasty. Pork chop was fried not grilled so it was tough to chew, and it it did not taste good, rather blanched.

EDIT: After two years, I am changing this to two stars. I get that times are hard, but twice now the flank steak has had a soapy/bleachy taste AND they skimp on meat for pho. Been going here for 9 years now. The owner is very friendly and remembers his regulars. The Pho is great. He does have a nice selection of other Vietnamese food on the menu. It has all been great.

This is my go-to place at the Eden Center. Authentic, spacious, bright, clean, large selection, all the boxes are checked. We used to do Eden Center every weekend, it was a family affair we looked forward to. Needless to say COVID had put a pause on it. We finally got to go back today for the first time in a long while, my kids and wife ate so much they had a hard time walking to the car.

The food and menu selections are good but carry out could use some improvements. We ordered the Hu Tieu Nam Vang which usually comes with a special sauce, a staple to the dish. They omitted the sauce so the meal wasn't nearly as enjoyable as it should have been.

We used to come here often for their authentic Vietnamese food. Something went wrong with them. They cut corner in food preparation. Today 14June 2020 we ordered crepe and spicy beef noodle soup for carry out. The soup was ok, used to be better, tasty and colorful, today it was not so. The crepe was terrible, instead of cooking the fresh pork and shrimp with the batter and bean sprout, they used precook pork and shrimp so they are dry and over cook. Crepe is one of their special dish, and they mucked it up big time. You need to improve your cooking.

I have been ordering from this place regularly since the quarantine began. The portions are insane and the food is always tasty. I also really appreciate how well packaged the food arrives!

Neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant that my family and friends go to when we have a hankering for some great Vietnamese food. The location that we like going to is the one on Markham Road. Had the shrimp skewered in sugar cane and their beef; On another visit at their new location at Eden Center, I had their Vietnamese Crepe. These are all good dishes to have as they were delicious.

I have been to All 3 Pho places on the area. this one Just nails it. Also the restaurant is always super clean.

The pho here is atrocious. The broth is bland and the cuts of beef are either poor quality or extremely over cooked. The pho here is probably the worst I have ever had in the DMV. That being said, they do have pretty awesome grilled beef cubes and fried rice, and their seafood fried noodles dish isn't bad. Basically everything I've had here is pretty good except for the pho. If you aren't going for pho, I'd give this place between 3.5 and 4 stars. But, since pho is in the name of the restaurant, I can't give this place higher than 3. I've had the pho here multiple times to be sure it's not just an isolated bad experience. It's terrible every time, especially considering the competition it's up against.

The pho here is fine, but they are shine when it comes to the other dishes they offer. The mi hai duong is a must.

If you don't arrive early enough to avoid a line, don't worry! They turn tables around very quickly. Once you order, your food will arrive in an equally speedy manner. The pho is delicious and served in generous portions. Combine all of this with the bustling, but cozy atmosphere and you have a great spot for a quick bite to eat or dinner out with friends.

This place has great service, very good food, good ambiance (clean and bright, including the bathrooms). Their Pho is like an 8 out 10, they make a clearer light style broth which is very tasty. Even though I generally prefer a darker more fragrant style broth (i.e. Pho 75) this place makes a delicious bowl complimented with well portioned meat uber fresh veg. and well textured rice noodles. Some Pho places only do soup, but this place is EXCELLENT at other things: Shaky Beef (Bo Luc Lac), grilled lemongrass chicken, grilled pork (Thit Nuong), Savory filled crepes (Banh Xeo), and their unreal fried rice. Yes, I will be returning here.

We love this place! With so, so many options for Pho in Annandale, it is hard to know where to go but, look no further! My mother-in-law is from Vietnam and this place passed her high standards! It is my go-to for Pho and Cha Gio! Such friendly staff too!

I stop by here once a month. The taste of the pho has not changed. This is good, because I have had to move pho places because the quality degrades. You should also try the Cafe Mocha bubble tea. Pro tip: Flag for water.

Great place for authentic noodles soup (Pho) or spicy noodles soup (Bun Bo Hue). These are the ones I use to order here. Of course, there are yummy rice dishes and others. Vegetarian dishes are also available.

My wife claims this is the best pho in town- I'm not sure about that, but it is very good. The portions are generous and the menu allows one to order extra noodles, which I have not seen at other pho places. Service was good and the restaurant clean. I'm sure we will be back.

Wonderful restaurant with a great menu. We normally get Pho, but don't sleep on the rest of the menu. I like the fish in a clay pot.

For a relatively small amount of money, you'll get a large meal. Any Pho bowl is a great choice. Made to order, hot and out quickly, you'll not be disappointed. This is the old location of Pho 50. Bowls are very large with plentiful noodles and meats or seafood, depending on what you're hankering for. A plate full of soybeans, jalapenos, fresh mint and lime are also brought out to fill your bowl. Restaurant was clean, service was prompt and friendly. Their spring rolls were also very good - but not excellent. They were still a bit greasy from the deep fryer when brought out, but they had great flavor and a crispy exterior. I had enough for two meals! I'll definitely return.
