Its decor reminds me of Mama Leone in NYC in the 60’s and that makes it special.

They dress coded us for wearing shorts which did not show anything and the manager sized me up and down and it felt very uncomfortable that after we drove 20 minutes we would be treated this poorly. If you want to go to this establishment make sure you dress like a nun.

The service was excellent as were the main dishes of pasta and grilled fish. Roberto took outstanding care of us providing great service. Everything was tasty. Our reservations were honored. I recommend their selection of pasta dishes although their menus is diversified.

We feel like Family Dining at Piccolino is a pleasurable experience. The Drinks are fantastic and the Food is Superb!

This is the second time we have been to Piccolino's restaurant. The owner is on site and is involved in all aspects of your dining experience. You are cordially greeted by him when you enter and seated and immediately given menus and a wine list. The food is exceptional and the portions are generous. All employees were polite and very attentive to our needs. This is not a knock off Italian restaurant like many in the area and the owner is Italian and the food is authentic. We enjoyed it so much and you are not rushed so they can turn over the table. No hype and loud music and there are no show ponies looking to be seen. Would highly recommend Piccolinos to anyone without reservation.

Best kept secret in SFLA….this is truly real Italian Food. Italian Chef from Napoli prepares the best Italian dishes in FLA. Stanly Tucci should come here instead of Flying to Italy! In addition service is excellent. If you want to experience an authentic Italian restaurant without traveling there, have dinner there…best Vodka sauce ever.

The owners, Roberto and Lenore are like a prince and princess!! the food is delicious. The service is fabulous and they always come to check to make sure everything is perfect. We return there at least once a month for dining and have brought many many friends. I would highly recommend this place for dinner.

Piccolino is a neighborhood gem! The chef/owner, Roberto and his wife welcome each guest with such warmth and great hospitality. The food is always excellent! Service is efficient and friendly. We love the meatballs, shrimp parmigiana, sole francese and the pasta dishes. The cannoli is delicious and the biscotti is perfect with espresso. Everytime we eat here, we are always satisfied with the experience. We will keep coming back!

Wow. You can't beat the warmth and experience here. Its a medium sized restaurant where the owners hug their repeat customers. The menu is limited to what is needed, but if you have special needs or desires, they love to accommodate. It’s hard to find a jewel like this in Boca where the hustle and bustle of world can be forgotten. We try to visit monthly and just had a large 90th Birthday party there where they did a phenomenal job on with a Family style prix fixe menu. Seek them out and you will be happy you did.

Most people don’t know about this this place, but it’s amazing

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time. Since we are both Italians, we don’t usually go to Italian places because the food just does not taste like true Italian food. Well, not anymore. We are coming back. Delicious typical Italian food. The tomato sauce was perfect. The Sicilian cannolis were equally delicious. We loved everything we ate and highly recommend this restaurant.

Never tried the place and called to order take out but they refused saying they were too busy and was rude on the phone as if I was absurd for asking. I understand it's a Friday night but if you can't handle another food order without having to utilize wait staff maybe there is a bigger problem and suggest not offering take out on Google or your website. Pretty disappointing.

I was immediately greeted by owner roberto who guided me to my personable table. Leonora, a coowner, made me comfortable. Tough night as my first solo dinner since wife passing 7 months earlier. They made me feel at home, smiled n cried together. Thank you for an enjoyable night which i was very worried about. The food. Loved it. No doggy bag. Sole ala francaise,tiramasu, caesar n pasta. Will be returning with friends

Roberto and Leonora know how to run a restaurant. They make you feel at home and value your patronage. All food is top notch. The fish special—- sole francais—is among the best freshest fish dishes I have tasted. Their chicken Marsala is a generous and tasty portion. The Marsala sauce is light and flavorful— not the heavy flour laden goo that often is served in restaurants today. The profiterole desert is among the best I have tasted. All food dishes are generous portions and fairly priced. If there is one suggestion I would make is their drink/ cocktail prices are a bit steep. While the pour is generous, $14.95 each for a Jameson’s and a Manhattan is a little over the top even in today’s inflated conditions. One can buy a fifth of Jameson’s for about $25.00! Piccolino serves the best Roman style pizza I've had living in Austin for nine years. Service is outstanding, and the only negatives are it's very dark inside and loud.

Fine food and well executed service.

A true authentic italian restaurant. My wife and I went to Itally during the summer and the food was out of this world. We experience the same feeling at Piccolino. Roberto and his staff were amazing and the food makes you want to come back every week. The made us feel like home. Totally recommend it to anyone that wants to try authentic itallian food.

Excellent food! We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Piccolinos. We loved the homemade eggplant rollatini, filet of sole, meatballs, and pasta and vodka sauce - they were all great! Meatballs among the best we've had. Owners Roberto and Leonora are warm, personable hosts and they have created an inviting, friendly atmosphere - waiter Filipe was personable and attentive ... Piccolinos is a gem, and this family run restaurant is now our personal favorite. Very glad we found it, and reasonably priced, too. But make sure to ask about their specialties because some of the meals we enjoyed weren't even on the menu! 5 stars!! We will be there often.

Very nice place the food is great.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. We finally had an opportunity and enjoyed it. It's located in East Boca in a center with The Fresh Market. There's plenty of surface parking. Since they moved, the name more reflects the menu than the size of the place. Roberto is welcoming and helpful. His team did a great job keeping us on schedule as we had an event to attend. They start your off with some bread and zucchini sticks. I had a glass of Chianti which was a nice pour. For entrees we had Chicken Fancese and a special which was Sole Francese. Everything was tasty and very good. We look forward to seeing you again!!

By far the best Italian restaurant in Boca! Have been to Tratorio Romano, Angelino, El Molino, etc. The food is top-notch as is the service. Roberto is an amazing host. Wish I had discovered this restaurant years ago. Will be back again and again.

We love Piccolino. The owner, Roberto, and his wife do an excellent job. They are so personable and friendly. The food is wonderful. We bring new people each time we dine, and they too quickly become regulars! Fan favorites are the muscle and meatballs for appetizers, sole François, chicken parmesan and the tortellini entrees are always crowd pleasures. The salads are tasty too. Always busy so make a reservation.

Just awesome! The food, the service, the cleanliness it was all just so amazing. The owner greeted us at the door. We were a bit worried because it was slow but by the time our food arrived it was busy. The chicken marsala and shrimp scampi were wonderful. We will be returning!

The moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the restaurant owner. He walked us over to our table and brought out some fresh warm bread and fried zucchini. The fried zucchini was delicious! We then ordered 2 appetizers the burrata and eggplant rollatini. Both portion sizes were pretty large and delicious. For our entrees we chose penne alla vodka and a classic shrimp Alfredo. The penne alla vodka is hands down the best I've ever had. My husband also enjoyed his shrimp Alfredo mentioning that the sauce was creamy and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. Aside from this, the restaurant owner/waitress kept checking in on us the whole night to make sure everything was great. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert, also was delicious. This is an authentic Italian restaurant, the owner is from Napoli. I definitely will be returning.

We had salad and meatballs for appetizers. Gnocchi and chicken parmigiana as entrees and cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was excellent!! The staff was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Due to Covid and other issues, we have unable to make our annual family visit from the UK for a few years, but we had a really good experience when we came in 2017, and we’re really looking forward to return. The first disappointment was the manager, who was a big let down from the hospitality we experienced previously with the owners wife. He clearly felt it was his aim in life to order want he wanted to have, and not what we fancied to eat. By the time the food arrived, we were already a bit deflated, and didn’t really enjoy the experience. We live 4000 miles away and obviously are not regulars ( who clearly are welcomed more warmly), but the fond memories of our previous visit are truly a thing of the past. We will not return.

What an outstanding restaurant. A true family run italian gem. From the bread to the salad to desert, delicious. The veal parm was really good. The linguine with red clam sauce is also delicious. This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. Once you go, you will agree.

Pastas are incredibly hot, very fresh and delicious. Very good service. The Caesar dressing lacked garlic or much taste but were very generous portions.

A throw back to an era where the Restaurant Owner, actually cared abt their clientele and the quality of the food. This restaurant has some of the best Italian Food in South Florida, nestled away in Downtown Boca. I highly recommend this establishment and will continue to praise its quality to my friends.

Wow!! What a great restaurant I found in Boca, a “little” (piccolo) secret. I walked inside and right away I was greeted warmly by Roberto the owner/chef. He accommodated me at a nice table and, being that I was dining solo, he made some suggestions of what to eat so I ordered the Dover sole, the signature dish. The fish was delicious, lightly battered and sautéed in a delicate lemon and white wine sauce. On the side string beans with fresh herbs. Everything was exquisite. I’m sure desserts were amazing but I decided to skip the sweet course. Great dinner, service and ambiance. I’ll be back very soon.... thank you.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and have enjoyed the food both times . Their vodka pasta sauce is the best I’ve had, so creamy and delicious ! The salmon was very good too. Also, the service is amazing, the owner is always walking around and comes to your table to make sure everything is ok, our waitress was so nice describing the dishes to us and helping us pick a dish that we’d enjoy. Also, they gave us a complimentary taste of their fried zucchini , and at the end of our meal and our bottle of wine the owner came and refilled our glasses for free. They make you feel welcome at this restaurant . The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. This restaurant is hidden in a corner of a street mall, it’s not a place you see while driving around, but still it’s always full. This says a lot about the quality of the food.

This hidden restaurant on the side street of the Fresh Market is a lovely unexpected charming spot with whimsical and enchanting decor. The best surprise was how wonderfully delicious the food was. Also incredibly gracious are the husband/wife team that happily serve their fabulous dishes....

I went to dinner with my parent and friends on a Saturday night and both the food and the service were outstanding. Everything i ate was fantastic and exceeded all expectations.

If you crave homemade Mama’s food: Piccolino is your place in Boca Raton. It’s like visiting your old Italian pals at Long Island. And, surprise at the end: homemade Limoncello! Definitely we will be back!

The food was good but not exceptional. The service was the same. Limited menu of standard Italian restaurant fare. Ambience was lacking for me.

We have been coming to Piccolino's since its opening on Federal Hwy. On entering it's a husband wife team who greet and seat you. Always fresh and made to order authentic Italian food. If you have dietary needs they're happy to adjust. It's a restaurant for an intimate nite out or a large family gathering. One thing we love about Piccolino's, you never feel rushed, sit back and enjoy the company your with. Plenty of parking which is a commodity for Boca these days.

Very pleased with this little spot in boca. Went for dad’s bday and we are definitely heading back. Food was excellent. The meatballs are the stuff of legend. I got a to go order in addition to my meal. Marinara sauce is delicate and extremely flavorful without the heaviness that usually accompanies red sauce. Service was attentive and the owner/chef was involved in every aspect. My only warning is that the portions are enormous and you’ll want to eat all of everything so bring your appetite. Highly recommended by this fat guy.

I visited Piccolina tonight with my husband and our neighbors. We are 10 minutes or less away. What a nice surprise! I had the sole Francese, was great, green bean not so much. My husband had the chicken parmesan it was also wonderful, pasta and meatballs wonderful!
