Such a hidden gem! I’ve come here multiple times since finding it and I’m obsessed. Whether you want a sweet treat or a quick bite this is the place to go. Food is always fresh, the coffee is tasty and the view is beautiful. I highly recommend the quiche and/or the blueberry cream cheese brioche, both must tries.

I live on Pine Island and have never been disappointed with the food, coffee, or service. It’s my mini-vacation on days when I’m getting all my errands done.

The best bakery/cafe on the island. They have wonderful croissants, sandwiches, and beautiful french desserts like tarts, macaroons, and more. We have visited this place repeatedly and will be back again. 4 yrs later and still can not say more. when you visit the island, make this a place to eat.

We discovered this tiny gem when looking for a quick bite. It is a waterfront location tucked away off the main road. The owners (I think) were extremely pleasant and all the food appeared to be made from scratch. The sandwiches were absolutely enormous and were served on homemade bread, sliced thick. My husband and I shared a breakfast sandwich and took a sandwich to share while kayaking later. Both were delicious! We will definitely go back to try some of the desserts.

We love this place . We’re from Pa. And go here whenever we’re down visiting relatives . Food is great and the owners are the nicest people .

Wonderful food. The giro was amazing. My whole family enjoyed our food. Reasonably priced and the lady working was kind with an amazing smile.

Off the beaten path but such a hidden gem!! Grabbed 2 breakfast croissants for hubby and I this morning but only ate 1 because they are sooo big and filling. Delicious!! Also got some dessert for this evening, I'm sure they will be amazing too. Can't wait to go back for other treats.

What a great place in Pine Island. Better than anticipated. We seek out the best coffee spots when we travel. This is a gem. The fresh, beautiful parties were delicious. Difficult to decide what to get. We had macrons and eclairs. Wish we had a way to transport more so we could've taken out more food. Coffee was superb. Owners are hard working, friendly and accommodating. If you find yourself in swfl, go here. Even if it's out of your way. It's worth it.

Very nice,busy with takeout, but still nice and quiet on porch and deck! Many fancy pastries to tantalize you. Egg and cheese croissant was fantastic. Very friendly ,We will be back !

A small, quiet cozy French bakery Cafe. I was able to catch up on pending administrative tasks after eating a delicious ham, fresh scambleneggs and cheese croissant 🥐. Wow! Beats Starbucks ambiance 100%. Support local businesses!!

My parents live on the island and this place is a gem, I drive from sebring for their amazing quiche and macaroon!

Literally a "hidden" gem. This place is not going to be found on your casual drive through the island, but it's definitely worth your time to find it and grab a meal or some treats. Everything is fresh, and you should eat it right away, especially the croissants if you enjoy that classic flaky crunch when. The inside is clean and inviting. And there's quiet outdoor seating with views of a lovely pond. We've been several times and never disappointed. Everything they make is worth eating, so grab what looks good to you!

We enjoyed the Almond and Chocolate filled Croissants. Now if that wasn't tasty enough... save that for desert and grab a breakfast sandwich. This is the first of many that I will enjoy. Can't wait to pop back in for more! The atmosphere has a great vibe and although bit off the beaten path... it's worth stopping in. Don't forget to take any of the tarts home to enjoy for dinner or a late night treat.

All I have to say is how delicious everything was that we ate. Every last amazing bite! We tried so many different things and loved everything that we had.

This place is very warm and cozy. Today was my first time visiting (1/7) and I will definitely be back. I asked the woman working for recommendation on a drink, so I got a double shot of espresso with some honey. I also tried the chocolate almond croissant and all I can say is WOW! I can’t wait to try the other pastries 🤤.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Awsome crusants, pastries (OMG) and bread, but the best thing they have is the French onion soup!! Call ahead so you don't lose out....

Great French bakery that we found by chance. It’s back in an industrial area that you wouldn’t think anything is back there. I had an amazing ham/swiss croissant and a delicious macaron. Hubby had an egg sandwich and lemon tart that he enjoyed. Definitely worth the stop !!

I love their blueberry tarts, chicken salad, gyros, and their bacon egg and cheese croissant. Limited, but scenic seating.

nice and quite place for enjoying coffee (latte, etc) and pastries... the pastries are really great... came to the area on vacation and this has been a go-to local destination... there is 'bar' sitting inside facing the window and outdoor sitting in the back porch and the patio... very relaxing... staff is courteous an prompt... the place is kept clean... it is dog friendly too

A hidden treasure. Off the beaten track, this café can only be found by chance or through a tip. Very tasty and, for America, unusual pastries and cakes. Friendly staff. Cakes and coffee can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace.

Great food and coffee. They have many delicious pastries as well. The baristas are very friendly and happy, especially the cute girl working there.

Food and coffee was good and the girl serving us was so cheerful, you couldn't help but feel her happy energy. Cute little Cafe tucked off the main road. Pastries looked incredible. I didn't personally try any.

Always amazing, there's a reason they're popular! Had a blackberry tart and a chocolate croissant, both were divine 🥰 The parking lot is small, so be mindful, but the outdoor seating is amazing with this weather!

I'd say this is a must go to little Cafe/ breakfast place. We've gone twice in a week. Lovely lady serving us both times. Great breakfast sandwiches, treats are amazing, and drinks are really tasty. Outdoor patio that we took our dog on is close to the water. Chairs need to be updated out there though. We really love this nice and quite place.

Absolutely love this sweet French bakery!! I had recently helped throw my sisters baby shower. She wanted a French themed shower and pine, Island Getaway Cafe catered the food and desserts and it was on point and most definitely delicious!!! Everyone raved over all of it!!! Thank you guys so much for helping me out and making all the Delicious food!!!! 😍

We had egg and cheese on croissant. They were generously filled and tasted fresh. Cheese and blueberry danish is the best! We sat outside and enjoyed the lake view and quiet breakfast. A nice start to the day! They make everything fresh and may run out of the most popular bakery items so go early. It is family run and nice.

Excellent French pastry shop. Amazing bfast croissant sandwich. It's huge! The best chocolate cuissants, all their baked goods are to die for. And their coffee is yummy too.

I've visited here at least a dozen times since moving here 3 months ago. The food is always amazing, whatever I try. I love the seating in back and was pretty excited when friend and I saw a couple baby alligators in the pond! It's all wonderful, but if you have not tried the croque-monsieur, you are missing out!

Almond croissant are simply the best!

We always enjoy the food and atmosphere at Pine Island Getaway. Oh, and the coffee and specialty coffees are excellent. Take time to enjoy the pond and peaceful backyard of Pine Island.

The staff here are so unbelievably kind. The two times I have been here, the person behind the counter was smiling, had a gentle voice, and was incredibly efficient. Even with a line, I hardly know that I am waiting as the pastries and sandwiches displayed are so beautiful to look at. The food quality is just as tremendous as the service, from sandwiches to parties. Everything I have tried has not disappointed. It's a bit of the beaten path

Great food and service. We enjoyed the raisin croissant, and my daughter had the raspberry tart also, the egg sandwich was perfectly made. The drinks were well made and not full of a bunch of powers.

Indulged in mocha mousse and raspberry tarte at very reasonble prices. Great cappucinos too. Lovely shade patio out back with view of lake flora and fauna.

Incredible good, people, atmosphere!

Both of tuna croissant sandwich and lamb gyro was really tasty and fresh. One thing I was disappointed was that there weren’t many selections in stock. I wanted some more small cakes but there weren’t any other than tiramisu. Very popular and parking isn’t big but enough space since people come pick up their food to go. Enough seatings for quick lunch and teas. Very clean and well kept. Restroom was also very clean.
