Had lunch there yesterday and breakfast today and never disappoints! A must stop when in the area!

Great food. Been stopping here since I was a kid.

I drove up to Cable, Wisconsin & got a chance check out Pioneer Bar. I'm glad I did. The staff is as welcoming as any I've encountered anywhere, and the food was AWESOME! I had steak & eggs; turned out it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Take some time to visit & experience Pioneer Bar, among the best the Badger State has to offer.

Met some old friends at the Pioneer Super Bowl Sunday. Friends very late getting there but the bartender made me feel right at home with coffee while I waited; even showed me how to use WI-FI CALLING! Friends and I agreed we had a great breakfast. Our hosts told us to stay & visit as long as we wanted. Hospitality at its best. We’ll be back! Dan McManman, Ironwood MI

Been looking for a good burger that is not over priced. Burger is nice and big and a lot of chips. I am allergic to Onions and she did great on protecting me when making my food. Only thing I would change is that credit card, I never have cash, so need to use ATM so cash $2.50 just to get the food, would like to be able to give that $2.50in the tip not the ATM.

We drive over an hour to have breakfast here. Absolutely amazing!! Hands down the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had! Highly recommend

Great small town bar. Great food and even better service! They have gas for your SxS, wheeler or boat. Atmosphere was very family friendly. Saw all ages from a month old to 80 yrs. Everyone enjoyed the night. I will go back next time I'm in the area

Place was packed this year during the "World's Longest Weenie Roast" weekend. Snowmobile parking was more than ample.

Best burger I've had in some time.

So many positives and zero negatives... Start with "clean place." Very clean. Was not expecting a Wisconsin tavern to be this clean! New OWNERS are very young and talented I will come back just to cheer them on. Food was amazing, 10 of us came in for lunch and Lisa the Bartender took our order quickly and the food came out just as fast. My favorite might be the homemade blue cheese dressing! What? Homemade.? Yes, what a treat. Everybody loved the food and the inside is a wonderful display of wildlife, tastefully arranged ... Solid 5 Stars.

Super hospitable bartender. Good food. Reasonable prices. They have a pool table, big buck hunter, some video poker, and bar games. They have seating inside and outside. Amazing taxidermy inside. Deer, bobcat, fish, Elk, caribou, and bear.

Bluecheese burger and a spotted cow beer. Went there last night with my Dad, hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. I'll see you guys again when I'm in town. Very chill atmosphere, good food, great people.

We tried a blue cheese burger and a grilled chicken sammie. The food was great. This was our first time here and received friendly service. Great bar in Northern Wisconsin. We will certainly be back to visit.

Great atmosphere at this place. Located on the snowmobile trail about a mile and a half from Lake Namekagon. Generally always has the wood fire place going to stay warm. Bar is large and open so multiple groups can easily fit in. Does have Gas to fill up snowmobiles if needed. Large parking area for snowmobiles as well. A great place to stop when doing a tour of bars on the lake.
