We got a roast beef battleship and it was very good. My wife and I split it over a couple of meals.

Have been ordering the Italian Battleship here for almost 20 years and was always pleased. Today however the bun was very hard and stale. I called and let them know and the lady just said "ok" and that was all. Didn't even apologize or anything. They just lost a loyal customer.

Went there 1 time lived in Penn hills for nearly 20 years has no idea it was there thought I’d try out since I used to pass it a lot 10/10 would recommend!!!!!! The bread is good nice warm fluffy mayonnaise is perfect their Italian subs are the best top it with that Italian dressing *chefs kiss*

So good! And Fresh! We usually get the battleship Italian hoagie. They have a nice takeout menu and are a small Italian market. I highly recommend ordering takeout and stopping in to shop their fresh market. A+

I tried to place an order but the woman who answered the phone was so rude and ignorant that she hung up on me. Imagine that, a Pittsburgher acting rude and ignorant. Who would have that? Awful, simply awful.

Planned to stop for some subs for a small family gathering. Google said open until 230. Arrived at 1239 and all closed up. Great food from the last time we were here but unreliable hours.

First visit. Ordered a hot corned beef and Swiss battleship. Fresh and tasty. Lasted me several meals. Would have liked a little more fillings. Very clean kitchen and staff was courteous amd efficient. Will definitely be back.

Purchased a battleship turkey sandwich. Turkey was dried out and didn't look fresh. Bread was not Mancini's. Poor imitation of The Famous Triangle Bar sandwich. Not returning!!

Very good food. We bought a couple large battle ships. We ask to have them cut and the ladie working there gave us big attitude. We even offered to pay her to cut it. Definitely spoiled the lunch mood.

Sandwiches are great! I love the way they wrap them, so that they don't get soggy! I wish the hours were just a liiiiiittle bit longer ! The one day I called at least an hour before close and they said they didn't have any more sandwiches, bye... alrighty... so I'm basically torn. Great food, weird customer service.

New to the neighborhood. Tried Pirollo’s for the first time. Had the hot Italian sub and it was delicious. The place was clean and the people were friendly. I’ll definitely be going back.

Good hoagies but I moved close to this shop little over yr ago and the 2 times I stop I'm disappointed. First time my turkey hoagie didn't have the bacon I added and paid for. This time I stop by at 4:23 they close at 5 and I can only order a italian hoagie cause they put away everything else 45m before they close. No thank you. He said catch you next time no you will not I will not return. I find it pathetic to have all your meats put away almost hr before you close and limit the customer to what they can buy...

You know there the best around and been around for quite some time I love the battleship you can't beat it !!! Wedding soup is the bomb also I can't wait to try the stuffed shells tonight.!.keep up the great work Rich.!!.

I remember when Pirollo's was on Saltsburg road. Thats how long me and my family have been ordering from them. And they've been good for that many years! I usually get a turkey battleship or a roast beef battleship. Ive never had an issue. One battleship lasts me a few days for my lunch. They are huge! The price is good too. The owners are always nice and will get you in and out. They are good people. I think Pirollo's is a penn hills staple!

I have only tried the subs but they are good! I usually eat the Italian Battleship toasted. The Roast Beef and Corned Beef have gotten great reviews from the family. The place looks clean food is good and don't have to wait long between calling the order in and picking the food up.

Wish they brought back the Philly Cheese steak. Still the best Italian hoagie around

Have been wanting to go there for a while but never got around to it. What a mistake! The first time we tried their subs was just before Xmas last year. We ended up getting several for our Xmas Eve party. Now this has become a regular for us. Prices are good, staff is friendly, and the food is good!

Small place, but sells a variety of sub sandwiches at reasonable prices. Also has some deli meats and cheeses, but minimal choices. Also chips, and some Italian specialties are available.

I have driven by Pirollo's many times but had never stopped. I knew I was going to be by there and decided to place an order...and boy am I glad I did. They were so polite and friendly and the Italian battleship was one one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I will definitely be trying them again for sure!! Thank you Pirollo's for the courteous service and the amazing food!!

A great place to eat. It is take out only. Everything is made to order. They also have food example meatballs or spaghetti to take home and serve.

Had a sub here, pretty good, I love places that whip up their own dressings in house. Something unique to that place, this place doesn't. Cut the lunch meat for my sub fresh on the slicer, which made the sub better.

Brings me back to the days of taking a road trip to swissvale to get a battleship from the triangle bar (still there). Pirollo's is much closer. Had my first visit and am planning another very soon. They have all the italian essentials in stock and conveniently displayed. Staff very couteous and speedy.

The sandwiches here are so fresh and delicious! It’s a family owned business and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The only con about this place is the hours.. they’re not open very early and I’ve only ever been there once because it seems like every time I try, they’re closed! Would have loved to been able to go there more often when I lived down the street because they were awesome! They chipped the ham right in front of me for my sub and it was yummy and not too expensive!

Hidden gem- In fact I drove past it daily for two years before realizing it was a deli. The people are great and the store is immaculately clean. The food is always fresh and the prices are great.

Mejores subs en la zona a un precio estupendo. Este es un pequeño negocio familiar que ha sido alrededor de un rato. Sus precios son razonables en todos los artículos de delicatessen y si te gusta la ensalada jamón venga lunes o martes porque se acaba rápido. A veces hay todavía algo más tarde en la semana. También tienen varias cosas italianas como aceite de oliva aceitunas excetera. Y siempre se puede tomar un galón o litro de té helado turner's si te apetece. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar que son rápidos y amable y buena comida.

Tiene que ser el mejor lugar para un verdadero 2 pies sub. El acorazado italiano es el mejor. El meatball también es uno de los mejores de la zona. Los bocadillos son frescos y en una casa solariega oportuna. Un buen lugar para recoger esa sub para una fiesta charlas muy abundante.
