This place has had a place in my ❤️ for awhile now living here in Spenard..There Mousaka and Baklava is the best in a town and city with a lack of good Italian/Greek food they hold there own. Just had there Veal Parmigiana tonight and it was pure comfort food and I like how they have there signature flavor/stamp on there base tomato sauce they use.. I seem to appreciate the acidity and refined flavor more with age 🍝

Don’t be fooled by the look of the building. The food is SO good! Service was wonderful. It is a lovely family run restaurant.

This is a must if you are in Anchorage!! The owners and staff are very friendly, hard working, and have delicious food. I had the seafood pizza and baklava for dessert and it was mouth watering delicious. Oh, lovely wine selection too.

We had the best experience dining at Pizza Olympia. The pizza and garlic bread were one of the best we’ve had in a while. The ladies were so lovely serving us. We would highly recommend dining here if you’re in Anchorage!!

Very friendly family atmosphere, food is very good. We always received a family-like welcome.

This is one of those places which looks from the outside (we came in from the back through a parking lot) like it might be an iffy choice, but this family-owned and operated Greek/Italian restaurant is exceptional. The standard Greek dishes are offered, as well as a selection of pastas and Italian specialties like eggplant Parmesan. We recommend everything on the menu, but the Avegolemono (lemon/chicken/rice soup) is a standout. The service can be a little slow, but this is a family place and they are working their behinds off to make it a good experience. If you have to raise your glass to get a water refill, that's the price of fresh food, exceptionally well-cooked, and served by people who want you to enjoy it. We've been here several times and are always happy and full when we leave.

Best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. And I didn’t even get to eat any other entrées so I will be coming back for that and dessert as well. Super excited.

Pizza Olympia is a family-owned restaurant that has been around a long time because they have amazing authentic Greek food, a genuinely kind and thoughtful service to their customers, and I've always seen customers laughing and happy enjoying each others company. A great place to be a regular customer.

Homey vibes, good food, sit and stay for awhile.

Tried the bread, pasta, pizza, and salad. Portions were big enough that my party could easily share what they got with others at the table. Everything is as you'd want it from a place promising Greek cuisine. Olives and Feta appetizers are a good way to begin.

It's always enjoyable to see the people at Pizza Olympia. They're great friends of mine I've work for them. The food is fantastic the atmosphere is fantastic. What I would say is that if you don't go you missing out on great food and good friends.

First of all, I'm a Gyro foodie. So when I tell you that Pizza Olympia served up the best Gyro that I've had in a very long time, you know where I'm coming from. Come very hungry, share, or take the leftovers home - this Gyro is *huge*. It fills a dinner plate. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. We shared the Gyro sandwich, mozzarella bread (appetizer), and a salad. We were both stuffed! Highly recommended!

OMG! You drive up and think this place is going to be a dive. It turns out that it's an amazing Greek and Roman mixture and the food is indescribably delicious. My friend invited us to go and said he never had a bad thing here. I was here right! We started with the meatballs, All of since she is, stuffed grape leaves, and Greek bread. Normally I can control how quickly I eat, but I slammed down every morsel as quickly as I could get it to my mouth! Everyone in my party has already said they can't wait to come here again! Chicken Parmesan. Seafood pasta. Chicken pasta. Leg of lamb. Steak! You can't go wrong here!

Orderd takeout spaghetti and meatballs with a side of Italian sausage. Came with a salad and a large portion of garlic bread too. Outstanding.

Skip this one; glacial food service, inattentive unfriendly server, over priced food, dive bar atmosphere, and to top it off they messed up our bill.

I wanted fettuccine Alfredo tonight and these folks were one of few restaurants open, the food totally surpassed my expectations! The “Olympia Fettuccine” was amazing! Another level.

Absolutely delicious. Moved here over a year ago and was craving Greek food. My doctor actually told me about the restaurant and within the week I was checking it out. I am hooked. Will definitely be passing their name on. That's what it's all about...word of mouth.

Excellent authentic greek menu. Very prompt delivery, excellent quality food, the greek coffee is amazing. One of the better pizzas in town. This is one of our regular spots we order from.

First rate service and the best food since my 1st visit in the early 80s. I only wished we lived in Anchorage so we could visit our friends at Pizza Olympia more often. Nothing like it anywhere else in all my travels. Maybe in Greece but I have never been there so this is probably as close we will ever get and service is impeccable with a family atmosphere. Got pizza to go. It was good. The restaurant is more like a shrine for the owner who passed away several years ago than anything else though.

We bought an extra large pizza a Greek salad and 4 sodas and it came to 60 dollars so we won’t be ordering Pizza from them ever again and the pizza was not very good

The mama Mia pizza has no business being on the menu as is, I saw the anchovies when looking over what it had in it but the pineapple had somehow been missed and when I got the pizza I thought it was a mistake but then I go to look back on the menu and I’m just sitting here thinking to myself why the explicit would anyone want this pizza the way it is, literally seems like a joke try at they put on the menu as one of their pizzas so people would accidentally order some trash pizza that is even thoroughly cooked and has too much sauce

The people who own this establishment are simply amazing! Not only is the food and atmosphere simply the best. But, they happen to also be some of the most hospitable and kindest people to exist. I love this place, and can't wait to dine in again.

First time in. The food was lovely and the service and atmosphere was also fantastic. We visited when it was negative degrees, and the inside was comfy. However, I'd love to visit in the summer. It looks like they had outdoor seating, that would be fantastic in summer.

This restaurant had plenty of good food, but one had to figure out how to find it. Our party had mixed to positive impressions of the place. The service was attentive and the waitress was very busy handling a variety of tables simultaneously while refilling frequently and graciously. In addition, there were some standouts here--the lamb was excellent, the dolmades were great, and the calzones were highly approved by my stepfather. On the other hand, not everything met with my party's approval, with a mixed verdict on the dry and somewhat plain garlic bread and general disappointment with the tomato-based Greek salad dressing that was not as thick or as tasty as expected. Still, this is a good place if you know what to get.

I have traveled ij Greece, Lebanese by background and grown up in Anchorage. The food in this place is off the charts fabulous. I have had many occasions to watch my dinners being prepared (I peek in the kitchen to chat with the cook from time to time) and I am in awe of the Maroudes famiely's skill at preparing hight quality, always fresh meals in record time with exceptional quality and taste. So thrilled they have weathered this pandemic. I was in last week for a dinner and the place was packed and lined up out the door. Word does get around, if the food is mediocre, your business is toast. Pizza Olympia is one of the two top restaurants in the city. The other is Alturra. Both are 5 star.

I am appalled that across many review websites they receive high praise for their pizza because it is absolutely atrocious. I cannot comprehend how anyone who has tried any other pizza joint thinks that this is acceptable pizza. I must give credit, their pasta and meatball sandwich were "alright". But I will forever feel disappointed in their pizza. I am at a loss for how to portray just how bad it was. Floppy crust, weak sauce, and like 4 total pepperonis. I would have sent it back on arrival had it not been delivered to me. I would be rather eat nothing than eat this pizza. Please don't fall victim to the other reviews about their pizza, just go elsewhere.

we had a great experience at pizza olympia! The staff was very friendly and attentive. All our food was so delicious especially the homemade pita bread, shrimp and clam spaghetti, and the lamb. The portions were very generous too! Would definitely return

Ordered delivery from here on my first night in Anchorage after a 8 hour flight, these guys did not disappoint. 1 hour delivery time on a Monday night with a super friendly delivery driver. The veggie gyros and med salads were delicious.

We dined at the Pizza Olympia by chance, after leaving another “restaurant” that was closer to our hotel; but, ended up being a loud bar with horrible service. This was an absolute blessing! The Pizza Olympia served us the best pizza we’ve ever had, and our server/hostess was absolutely charming. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! This is a family-run business that show pride in what they do, and that’s a rare thing these days. 100% recommend!!!

We had a fabulous dinner and a wonderful experience at the Pizza Olympia. The staff was very professional with a wonderful kind attitude towards our large group of 7! The meal was delicious. the dessert was amazing baklava. We loved the flaming cheese ~a great way to start out! We will go there again very soon. I have heard they do a great take out service, but GO THERE!! it's got a super menu!

One of the best pizza places in town!

Food was fresh and so very delicious.... We are planning to make this a regular hangout while here in Anchorage.... The Greek food is authentic and superb.... The feta was the best ever!

Sevice was excruciatingly slow, but freindly. Ambience was very much like other small older family owned and operated Greek restaurants with nice, pleasant and stereotype decor. Food was good but not exceptionally so. My souvlaki was tasty, the tzatziki sauce was mild but good, being served on a bed of French fries was just odd to me and not great. It was before 8pm on a Friday with the restaurant less than half full and they were out of several dishes including the two we went there specifically to eat, moussaka and leg of lamb. I expected better service and more than a bed of frenchfies for the price of our meals $20 to $30 per plate.

Not a lot of sauce which is good. Pizza is actually pretty good. Bacon not really cooked though if you order it. Very old place and outdated so don’t put on your best clothing when you go. Drinks are about the size of a small McDonald’s coffees and the refills are 2.50ish! In Alaska everything is expensive

Wow, super delicious food 😋. We ordered pizza, which they md heart shape for my little one. I ordered gyros, wow was super tasty, unique. And my husband loved his meal. Overall 5+ star. Thank you.
