Great pizza at a good price. Service was ok. Building could use a little updating.

The food was fantastic!!! But we did not like the idea of one of the young pizza cooks working the oven, vaping while working.

First thing is the food: I've never had shrimp on a pizza, this was AWESOME! Second is the Service, Chelsea was the BEST! Absolutely without question was very attentive but not intrusive. The Atmosphere in this place is that of an old family pizza place that's been there since the dirt was invented. Go there, don't think about it, don't ask someone else, go in and have a seat and enjoy yourself!

Went last night. Service great our waitress was so nice . Spaghetti w homemade sauce enjoyed it ver much.

I knew this pizza would be amazing the second it was put on the table. The crust was perfect and the pizza was full of flavor! Sarah was an amazing waitress also. Can't wait to come back!!

Not what it use to be…one topping pepperoni pizza cost same as “special” pizza, was burnt, and had too much salt. Whoever answered the phone didn’t know much about the pricing, and there were no menu prices on their website. Thought I’d support a small local business, but can do better…

People are alright not one way or the other really, kinda awkward atmosphere food was not it. Literally tasted like frozen pizza made me sick, like worse than gas station pizza do not reccomend

If you're looking for a homey restaurant, this is it! Sarah is the best waitress there and the Nick's Special, Pizza Shack Soecial and Double Cheese breadsticks are the best!! The ONLY thing I dont care for is the muffelata, but that's my taste buds only! Everything else is top notch superb there!!

My kind of pizza joint. You don’t go there for elegant dining, but rather good food. Made me feel like I was still in college. Pizza and the house salad were great, as were the service and beverages, which are often watered down at other eateries. Can’t wait to go back.

Please Update your hours drove from Lafayette got here on a Thursday night at 8:59 and the lady said after entering they were closed. Your site says 10:00pm.

Meh is the best I can say about this place. Ate here years ago when I lived here and wasn't impressed with anything. Was harangued into going again with family this evening, and I went only because we all haven't gotten together in a while and I felt obliged to. Menu is pretty basic, but their po-boy selection is terrible. When you mention po-boy, it's usually centered around oysters, shrimp, fish, or some other seafood selection. Their po-boys are basically expensive deli sandwiches with run of the mill lunchmeats. Service was poor. Waitress couldn't remember who ordered what. Food came at several different intervals, and took quite a while to get anything. Although I didn't time it, I'm guessing at least 35-40 minutes from the time we placed our order. Brother's nachos were so onion packed I could barely stand the smell. I've had better DiGiornio's pizza than what I received. Paper thin crust and ingredients which were obviously out of a can or a jar; nothing fresh. Bathroom was beyond disgusting with urine all over the floor and toilet, and as dimly lit as an inquisition's dungeon. Sign out front stated "Floors may be slippery'. Yeah, because nothing has been cleaned in forever. I'll fake being sick next time I'm requested to meet at this place. Hard pass. Oh, and the bill? Have to get the table number from the wait staff, wait in line at the cook's counter, and after 5-10 minutes, you may get to pay the bill if everything is correct, which it wasn't. Get with the times people. Oh, and funny how out of all the 1 to 2 star reviews they've received, management hasn't reached out to anyone to rectify a complaint or try to resolve a negative review?

Great food. Owner had terrible service. I called to speak with him and before I could finish he said "This is a restaurant. I don't have time." If you can't make time to speak with customers or offer to call when your available then you don't really care. One of the few places I've called in Opelousas with terrible phone service.

The customer service was good and that's why I would recommend them. The pizza topping was really good, and portion was good as well, but the crust was extremely hard. I could barely bite through it. We also had garlic bread with no cheese appetizer, it wasn't worth it, but again, customer service was good.

I've been going to this place since I was a kid. It has always been consistently amazing!

I've ate pizza literally all over this country and my wife is not a pizza fan usually. But when she says it's the best pizza she's ever had, know for a fact and take it to heart it is the best. I could literally eat here a couple times a week. When they tell you it'll be 22 minutes or 7 minutes it will. Food, service, Cleanliness and awesome employees. No wonder this place is always packed. Go here if you want pizza. I'd even recommend driving out of your way to try them. A-W-E-S-O-M-E !!!!

This is the best kept secret in Opelousas! (Kept from visitors, I mean; locals all know it!) It's the best pizza in Acadiana.

I keep seeing reviews saying prices are high. I think they are very reasonable. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Crust is crispy but not burned. Crawfish salad is delicious! We always come here when we are in the area. At least once. Sometimes more.

There pizza is really not that good. I wouldn't put it in the top 20 pizza places I've eaten at. The service is very slow. The advertise they close at 10 on weekdays and 11 on weekends. But you better get there a hour or more before advertised closing time because they'll tell you they are closed. I walked in right at 10 on a Saturday night and was told they were closed when the sign plainly says 11 is closing time. Another time on a week night I walked in at 10 minutes till 9 and was told they are closed. I go eat there about twice a week for lunch but after tonight I'll never go back again.

It is extremely difficult to place a to-go order. Food was ready within the time estimate given, which was 45 minutes, but both large specialty pizzas were poorly prepared and then burnt beyond recognition. Not sure if they are short staffed or simply not prepared for a Tuesday night rush. Kitchen staff seemed overworked. The one cashier, who is the face of the business, was very rude and didn't seem like he wanted to be there.

Kind of a dark place inside with very good pizzas and sandwiches.

Appetizers were better than the pizza in my opinion. The pizza crust is very crispy. Low key atmosphere. Just grab your own seat and you get friendy service. Pay as you walk out to leave.

If you haven't been to Pizza Shack in Opelousas, you need to reevaluate your life and go there as soon as you read this. Pizza is amazing and worth every penny. Definitely higher price per item, but it shows its worth in quality and flavor. My personal favorite is called the "Nick" special.

The best pizza around this area, hands down!!!!!! It doesn't matter what day or time you get your pizza, it's just freaking delicious!!! The servers are fabulous and work their butts off.

Hot pizza! With everything on it, just be careful of the toppings, you could get a burn. Just drink your drinks then grab a slice. Was good though, it was a first time I had shrimp on a pizza! Went to this place again, after about a year, order a Mexican pizza, bacon cheese burger pizza, and a mixed pizza. It was great! And the sweet tea was delicious! They also have beer here and other things adults can do without children, like, casino and drinks!

Last night 08/10/22 I brought some out of town friends we waited 15 mins for a table . The hostess/waitress let people in ahead of us. Went to the Steamboat Warehouse in Washington. Much classier place

Took forever to get our pizza and didn't get our appetizers until after the pizza was served. But our waitress was awesome. She checked on us often and made good by getting us the appetizers at no charge. Needless to say, the pizza was delicious.

Brought my kids here for lunch on a whim while in town to get our eyes checked. I knew we must have found a gem when we pulled in and the parking lot was full on a big ol’ Tuesday at lunchtime. I was incredibly impressed with all aspects of this business but especially the food. Our pizzas were loaded up, they have the good ice (crushed) for drinks, and the server was really on top of her game! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town. Definitely one of Opelousas’s hidden gems! Highly recommend.

The first couple of times I had their Pizza, I didn't care for it at all. If there's a such thing as too many toppings, that was my main complaint. Now that I figured out how to order the perfect Pizza it has quickly become one of my favorite Pizza joints to frequent! The chef salad is also fantastic! Mary has been our server each time we've eaten there and let me tell ya, she is above and beyond awesome! The place is always slammed yet somehow she stays on top of everything. Drinks never run dry, she checks on each table with what seems like perfect timing. Also she has a loud and strong voice which is a must for a small place with so many people inside.

Absolutely can't get any better anywhere else!! FABULOUS!!

We got 4 pizzas. 3 were over cooked. The fourth wasn't, and I'm assuming only because it had almost everything on it so there was more to cook.....though the shrimp topping was a little harder than maybe should have been? The other 3 only had a couple toppings each so maybe shouldn't have been cooked as long? Anyways the A/C was on full blast inside and it was cold outside so we weren't even comfortable eating our over cooked pizzas. I enjoyed the music though.
