Their manager (in the GORGEOUS pink leggings) today was the sweetest, and provided both me and my daughter with the best advice on what to order. I have nothing but nice things to say about her (she DESERVES A RAISE) if the owner sees this post, and she is a fully wonderful human being ❤️

Beautiful place , fast , friendly service. Great tasting bowls.

Although it is a bit expensive, it is comparable to the current market prices. My son, his girlfriend, and I thoroughly enjoyed our delicious bowls.

This place is grab and go. So don’t expect an ambiance experience.However the aera they are located in is pretty lively in summer adding to its feel. The bowls are amazing! They are fresh, healthy and won’t break your purse. During summer i like their Mango specials but others are good too.

My husband and I have been eating playa bowls for YEARS! We are vegan and its our go to summer snack or breakfast food out. We were so disappointed today that we are now being charged extra for vegan granola. With a 3 dollar coupon our 2 bowls came to over 23 dollars... that's never happened before. Shouldn't be charging extra to substitute an ingredient that we can't have!

Ever time I get playa bowl I am in heaven! I get the Nutella bowl and the fruit is always fresh and always have to get the monthly sicker I love how decorative the into the store is and the service is great and of course the food is amazing!!!

I've had playa bowls from other establishments. I have to say by far the location in Danville is more friendlier and the bowls are made better.

I ordered a smoothie with out bananas because I am allergic— they told me the smoothie will be watery. THAT IS fine. WHAT ISNT is the fact that they lack common sense entirely. They handed me a warm “smoothie”. My first time here and most certainly my last. PUT ICE IN IT. I cannot understand being okay with handing someone a warm $12 smoothie. Find somewhere else.

I only ever had a problem when a guy that was working there made my order.. It was not made with love lol!! Little to no honey when I asked for extra extra honey. Also it wasn't even properly layered, as if it was thrown in the bowl. Besides that one time, it's been a great experience, especially when the tall and pretty young lady is around, she seems to keep things in order and get things done! Adds a layer of confidence when buying at this specific location.

Normally, they would package and serve the playa’s you buy. Today, we were very surprised when we were told that we had to package the orders ourselves. This is a behavior that should not occur in such a quality restaurant…

I LOVE Playa Bowls. Always made fresh unlike other similar places that pre freeze the bases. The taste is better than any other stores. When I’m out running errands, I usually plan to stop by the closest or go out a little out of my way to be sure to pick one up at the end of my trip.

Updated: The manager reached out to apologize and gave a detailed explanation without excuses. I'm hoping this is a one-off thing and with a bunch of great reviews, it probably is. I placed an order ahead of time for an online pickup. I understand that this location is very busy and have ordered from here a bunch of times and always expect it to take longer than usual. My pickup time was 12:50. I arrived and asked the status at 12:45 and was told that it would be out soon. At around 1:10, when it was clear it wasn't coming out any time soon as people who had placed in-person orders were all getting their orders before mine, I checked again. They could not find my order. In other words, it had not been prepared nor was it on the docket to be prepared. I could no longer wait so I asked for a refund. While the one person was getting my refund all set, another worker told me that in the future I should "tell them when I arrive so they know to look for my order." When I told her I had 25 minutes ago, she just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Oh." I've regularly visit a few Playa Bowls locations and I am always patient and understanding. But this experience was extremely disappointing and the lack of care is very telling.

I liked this place until few days ago. I used to come here thrice a week for a protein smoothie or a bowl. But during my last visit I saw that when they add protein powder through a sauce bottle not a scoop. I was surprised as I believe protein powder is not a topping but a nutritional supplement. For a person who is watching his/her protein intake they are not getting enough protein due to this. And how do you even estimate the protein you put in the smoothie as you "pump" the bottle for powder? It can be anything between 2-20 gm? I have never seen any smoothie place do that. I felt betrayed as I have been miscalculating my protein intake due to this.

I went in there while there were dozens of middleschoolers in there as well. The staff seemed calm and collected and got my order out quickly among the chaos.
