If I could rate this pizzeria a zero, I would. We received a flyer in my neighborhood for this restaurant. I placed an order. And it’s been over 3 hours and they haven’t arrived. I’ve repeatedly called their store just for someone to pick up the phone and immediately place me on hold without even greeting me. I hope no one orders from this place ever again. Send me my refund. I’m disputing all charges.

This place is so good! The staff is very kind and the food is SO GOOD. Best pizza dough I've had in awhile. Sofia's definitely outcompetes many similar "niche" pizzerias. The calzone, garlic parmensan wings and supreme pizza were delicious. We will be returning!

The food is bad. How this place has as many stars as it does is a true mystery. Pizza 👎🏼 pasta 👎🏼 sandwiches 👎🏼

Excellent Pizza! I am really picky about my pizza, Sophia's does not disappoint. Perfect balance of sauce and toppings. Crust is absolutely perfect. Not too thick or thin.

I ordered a pizza through the favor app. The driver was told upon arrival by an owner that he would not accept the order because it was placed through favor. Favor was charging him NOTHING as this was a place and pay order. I only ordered the pizza from Sofias because it was in the favor app. I never would have considered ordering from them had I not seen the location on the favor app. I instead ordered from Marco’s down the street through the app. I’ll certainly never order sofias ever again. This is ignorance and just plain horrible customer service

I want to thank the staff at Sofia's Pizzeria. We hadn't realized they close the inside of the shop an hour before full close time of the restaurant. My wife and I went in for our first time at that time. They pulled out a table and chairs and served us with great service. My wife and I appreciated it greatly. My calzone and her wings were fantastic. Will definitely be going back...at an earlier time of course :)

The pizza is good, slightly overpriced, but the most annoying part is that we consistently ask for a crispy bake, even put it in the notes from online orders and it’s never right. 60 bucks for two pizzas is super pricey to not get something as simple as that right

Excellent and friendly service. We ordered an 18” pepperoni and ham, sofias spaghetti, and cannolis. We enjoyed everything but the cannolis were not our thing. I believe I misunderstood what it contained of but was prepared beautifully. I will definitely return

We've had pizza from here 3x now and each time it's a hit! The topping ratio is great and the crust is delish too! We love the BBQ chicken pizza. Love the convenience as well.

The pizza was on point 10 out 10 and the wings were a good size compared to other places.

Music is a little loud for dine in, but there is no better Pizza in the neighborhood.

Although small for eat in, this could very well be the best pizza in San Antonio. Ordered pizza for our selves and kids. They loved it! We loved it! Ordered fettuccine Alfredo for my mother in law, and she is tough to order for, but she fell in love with this dish and can’t wait to try it again! If you have a difficult eater order from here.

Although, I love the pepperoni pizza, I was in the mood to try something different. My wife suggested the Chicken Alfredo pizza and we were stunned at how much we enjoyed it. The lemon pepper wings never fail and we try a different flavor along side to perfectly compliment the meal.

Super quick delivery. Pizza was ready before the estimated time. It was delicious. The kids even said so. I’ll definitely order from here again.

This place always makes my pizza heart POP! Never disappoints and adding on that tiramisu, that terrifically calls your name, as you're getting ready to pay.

The pizza is second to none. Today I tried the BYO Calzone. Twice the size of any I had previously. The Homemade CHIPS are the best potato chips I have ever had! So glad that they are only located 1.6 miles away!

I go here all the time. The main guy who works in the restaurant is hyper efficient. He'll get you in and out of there fast with some good hot food in your hand.

We just moved to Redbird Ranch and we’ve been too exhausted to cook. We heard great reviews about Sofia’s so we thought we’d give them a try. I’m so glad we did! We had the Sausage Roll, Chicken Parmesan and the Nutella Strawberry Pizza. Everything was delicious and so fresh tasting. I only wish they had an antipasto salad lol. All kidding aside, definitely order from Sofia’s if you want fresh, great tasting food! Sorry no photos because we were so eager to eat. Next time!

Absolutely one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. My sons and I dined in for the first time on Friday 4.19 because I kept seeing the ad on Facebook. We ordered a pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizza with cheesy garlic knots. OH EM GEE these were the best garlic knots I've ever had!!!! My sons kept saying.... "Look at That cheese pull tho Mom!!!" The service was great and the GM came and greeted the tables to ensure everyone was doing well! Needless to say, I am not longer allowed to order delivery pizza from anywhere anymore! I will gladly drive the 30 min to this location of Sofia's! Hole in the wall locations are the best! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!

We ordered pizzas for delivery. Overall the pizzas were delicious. Was a bit disappointed in our pepperoni one being a bit burner underneath…but it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. We’ve had sofias before and it was delicious.

Worst customer service ever eat elsewhere

Food was good, service was fine .. problem is they give their employees bad checks which bounce. Spoke to a couple of their employees and this has happened multiple times to multiple employees..... as of today there is still bad checks outstanding putting their employees in a bind...... will not be giving them my money if they can't even pay their staff for working for them. Very disappointed.

Potranco location is small for dine in, but amazing service and even better pizzas.

Best pizza place in San Antonio!

Awesome pasta and pizza. We moved right near them about a year ago and stopped ordering pizza from anyehere else but here now. The staff is cuterous and fast. Always recommend them to all our neighbors and people around us.

Their food is amazing, especially considering they occupy a small space near where I live. My Wife is a professional chef, and she noted that their salad dressings tastes like they were made in the kitchen. I recommend the pizza, but really, everything is great and everything comes in very large portions. Sofia's is easily our Plan A if we want to order Italian food.

It pretty much is the best pizza you can find in Bexar County. I grew up in CT, and while I am indeed spoiled on pizza, this is the only joint in the county that reminds me of pizza from my hometown.

Oh goodness 10/10!! I ordered a kids Fettuccine Alfredo and a meat calzone to go, and MAN it is a full Togo portion! The pasta and chicken came out perfect and fresh, and the Alfredo sauce was soooo good, AND they even gave me extra sauce on the side. I didn’t even know it came with a COOKIE AND a capri-sun! 🥹❤️ That kids meal is well worth it. The meat calzone: HUGE. Delicious, stuffed to protection! 10/10 it’s hard to find a good calzone and this was *chefs kiss* Overall: service was wonderful, the lady who helped me was so sweet, made my first time trying this place well worth it! It is sooo good absolutely everytime! Mike and Carlos are cool and considerate, the only place I call when I want real Italian food made right!!!

My husband and I decided to try Sofias because they were voted #1 pizza in SA and had raving reviews. We were greeted warmly and the gentleman at the counter was very friendly! 2 Large Pizzas, Family size Spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs and a slice of cheese pizza. $104... pricey but we wanted to give it a try, if it was the best pizza we wanted to try it! I was disappointed in how mediocre the taste of everything was. Really dry pizza crust, yet soggy at the same time. Not much flavor in the sauce, kind of bland if I'm being honest. The only thing that was decent was the meatballs, but even then for $104, I'm sorry but not the best pizza in San Antonio. I'd rather go to Lou's Woodfire Pizza off Hwy 90.

So nice to have real pizza... Oh, and try the tiramisu... and the cheese cake! :D

I'm honestly surprised by my experience considering the reviews. This was honestly some of the driest and tasteless pizza I've had. The pizza sauce was almost non existent, light on the cheese, and Italian sausage had no flavor. However, I did enjoy the pizza dough. My wings had the look and texture as if they had been sitting there all day. Mango habanero would have been good if the wings weren't so dry but garlic Parmesan wings were very underseasoned. The cannolis were the only enjoyable part of this meal for me. It's also upsetting that we weren't in the delivery range and we live right at the beginning of potranco. $72 for 2 pizzas, 10 count wings, and 2 cannolis.

We ordered Supreme and Pepperoni pizza and it was really good! I wish they have delivery option within our area which is wiseman road.

Update: while the food is great whoever thinks it's a good idea to place people on hold for 5 minutes to order pizza should rethink their business strategy. They rarely answer the phone to take an order. Just hold. Pizza is great. Reminds me of New York style. If you're looking for new york. This might be as close as you get and it tastes great! The chicken parmesan is delicious 😋

Had the Sweet Sausage Roll and Italian Sub and they were both delicious. Not goona lie the Sausage Roll was my favorite!

Very nice folks, pizza was good but the prices for cheese sticks, two 14" pizzas and 4 drinks was $72... Ouch..

First time trying their food. Gotta say... DELICIOUS!!! Everything we ordered was pretty good! From the all meats pizza to the cannoli dessert pizza!
