I just loved to the area and officially found my favorite sandwich. The customer service was awesome but the sub was even better!

This isn’t very far from our house, which makes me happy. We tried it because it was so close and there aren’t many restaurants near us, but we will be going back because the food was surprisingly good! The bread was fresh and the meat was quality and they didn’t skimp on adding it to the sandwich. They also didn’t skimp on the veggies. I got extra tomatoes! I got the Italian sub and it was very good. The first bite was a flavor explosion. My 2 boys also loved their turkey subs. It is a local Parrish treasure. Definitely recommend it.

Didn't even try my sandwich yet and I had to leave a review! The customer service is beyond amazing! Not from the area but will definitely be making my way over this way more often. Amazing stuff all around especially the young lady that checked me out!

My sandwich was sooooo good! Ham and cheese add bacon. Atmosphere was refreshing and homey.

Good food, under new management. The old owners would close for every holiday week which was understandable. But the new owners might want to consider opening, it’s really a bummer when people come visit from out of town the week that holidays happen and they are closed. A holiday is not an excuse to close for an entire week. Not great business.

Don't let the location, small building, and gravel parking lot fool you. A group of women who take your order and prepare your sandwiches right in front of you. Large offering when it comes to your type of sandwich. Women work furiously to prepare it. Grab some ice tea or a can of pop and enjoy on one of the picnic tables on the front porch. I will go again when the spirit moves me.

First time for lunch today! Everything was amazing!! The team was so friendly and the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend coming out for lunch!!

I went there for my first time the other day, and all the staff are amazing, including the owners. The place may be a little hole in the wall, but the sandwiches are the best in the area! Under new management. She's a nice lady and swears not to change anything. She moved the trash can and added a bench already so only time will tell..

Quaint little shop. Very good sandwiches and very personable people. We drove 45 minutes for their sandwiches. Did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

First time here, bit definitely not our last!!! Chicken and Dumpling Soup is perfect. Chicken Salad is garlicky and yummy. Deluxe Sub was Huge and full of so much stuff.

To was our first time here and will definitely not be our last. The food was excellent, portions were big, and the staff was very friendly. I can't believe we have lived in the area for over seven years and have never been here.

Hands down the best sandwich we have had! Great home town feel in the shop with staff that take pride in the food they make. This will always be our go to sandwich place. I had the lettuce wrap in lieu of bread and it was outstanding!! Everyone else has sub sandwiches and loved every bite.

Next time in Parrish we will stop again. Dog friendly!!

Ladies made delicious warm sandwiches for my group of friends that will become a favorite when we hang out with our kids on the weekend! It's cash only, but ATM is right inside and worth every penny! I'd have pictures, but we ate the subs too fast.

This is a find of the lifetime, we travelled to see the Parrish Train Raid 10/14, decided to eat saw PJ's, so we stopped, the sandwiches are filling, delicious, staff was great even short handed, all had smiles, customers very patient cause they knew the quality they were receiving. Order 339 Will definitely recommend and be back.

My family has eaten here since I can remember. All I can say is do not forget about Pj's when you think about subs. It's a five star for a reason.

I know this place is a local favorite, but our food was nearly inedible. The bread was stale, and the cold cuts were second-rate.

Seriously really good food. Everything was fresh. The Meats are thinly sliced so it has more flavor. The meatballs were very tender. The bread...o.m.g. so soft and fresh. Meatball subs and deluxe subexcellent choice. Quick service and very friendly staff. The italian dressing is the bomb! Love places like this. We live in Northport but I would drive up just for it. I appreciated how they put the hot sub in its own bag from the cold sub. We will definitely be back. Totally recommended.

I came here with my kids today. the sandwiches were sooooo good! It definitely hit the spot! But what makes this place even better and will keep us coming is the amazing family run business and atmosphere. Everyone there was so nice to us, spent time talking/joking with me and the kids, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Great food, great people; what more can you ask for!?!?

Teresa and the whole PJs team did an *outstanding* job putting together a sub platter for my wife's birthday party, and put it all together within 3 hours! The subs were a huge hit! Highly recommended!

This is the best sandwich shop I have had in my entire life. They only take cash so you need to come prepared or you can use their ATM but it is worth every penny and then some. The line of people out the door on a daily basis proves my point.

I kept seeing posts about their sandwich shop & it looked good. So me & my boyfriend went, tbh we didn’t know what to expect. When we got there the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a turkey sub ( which is my favorite) and couldn’t wait to eat it. Lol. Soon as we got in the car the 1st bite was EVERYTHING !!!!! It was sooooooo yummy. We were definitely satisfied and they gained loyal customers. Thank You.

This place is good! It still hits the vibe of a vintage Sandwich Shop, yet sill manages to deliver quality food. I got a Small Deluxe Sub and it was DEEELLICIOUS!!! Do remember to bring cash, they don't accept cards.

Two stars only because the service was quick and kind. As for the actual Food- I was horrified. I am a northerner and am always in search for a good hoagie (“sub”). This was NOT it. I may have set my expectations too high and caused some disappointment for myself, however to give a reason for my disgust I ordered an Italian sub with all of the toppings, they offered pepperchini or banana peppers.. which are pretty much the same thing, I would love the option for a sweet pepper.. to sum it up, they are really lacking on what they’re able to offer. Sad to say they put AMERICAN cheese on my Italian sub.. honestly disgraceful. Their meats were cut really thick and just didn’t taste fresh. I will say however the bread was fresh and of good quality. Maybe they should get into the bread business instead.. Just not my cup of tea. Can’t recommend at this time.

Their sandwiches are huge. A large feeds myself and my husband. Much better than Publix or Subway. Lots of meat and fixings, made as ordered. At lunch hour it's best to call ahead. And don't forget to try the sweet iced tea. I get an extra large everytime. Make sure to leave a tip so the bell gets ring end the staff all yell, it too funny 🤣

My husband and I had the Italian and it was ok. Overloaded with lettuce. No provolone. Ham and bologna. Wawa has much better subs!! Edit- I should mention we are from Philly so perhaps we are just Italian snobs. We will be back to try the turkey sub!! My Dad had pastrami on rye and said it was very good and a generous portion of meat.

We tried this little sub shop for the first time and we were extremely impressed. The Italian sub was delicious with generous portions of fresh meats, fresh vegetables and yummy rolls. The shop is meticulously clean and the owners were very friendly. A bit of a distance from the house but worth the drive.

Tradition for us is getting a couple subs for a long hike at a nearby state park, we decided on this one. Very good! In these days of overloading subs and making them more than they need to be, this was amazing! Sometimes keeping it simple just works...fresh bread, fresh veggies, fresh meats, it just hit the mark for us! The shop made you feel welcome and give that feeling of stepping back to the 80's / 90's nostalgia I have very much missed over the years. Well done PJ's Sub Shop, thank you!
