The daily special shows $7.99 on the big sign outside. You get inside and they show $8.99. And then they charge for credit card with no warning. So, my $7.99 lunch special costs $9.35 before tax. Was told the owner had ordered a new sign. I told them, then raise the price AFTER the sign arrives and is in place. Isn't false advertising against the law?

The brisket was beyond dried out like jerky. The chicken wasn't seasoned at all didn't have a BBQ taste to it. The potato that I had was over cooked. Just a horrible experience but the cashiers was friendly an honest about food.

Brisket was dry no favor. Sausage uncooked Baked potatoe had been cooked to long chicken was flavorless. Peach cobbler is decent but needed some nutmeg and cinnamon.

First time I've been to Podnahs in many years. First, the 2 girls that took our order were rude. Then, the baked potato only has butter and sour cream for toppings, you have to ask for cheese and it is extra, there's no bacon bits, chives. Get to the table and eat and every bit of the food is cold, even the bbq sauce, which just sits out on the counter with no lid or heat. Will not be returning. Don't recommend.

I love BBQ, but was disappointed with Podnuh's BBQ, on Sun around 12:30pm. This was my first time trying this restaurant. Only a couple people served inside, while we ate. I am a little concerned with the safety of the meat, as they were sitting on a filthy cutting board and dried out. Looked like dried roadkill. Almost turned and ran. Food safety note copied from local guidelines: Keep food hot after cooking (at 140 ?F or above). Just because your good is done doesn't mean that you're out of the clear when it comes to foodborne illness. The possibility of bacterial growth actually increases as food cools after cooking because the bacteria thrive as the temperature drops. To keep your food above the safe temperature of 140?F, use a heat source like a chafing dish, warming tray or slow cooker. Since I was with family, we stayed and tried a couple sandwiches and sides. The pulled pork was average at best and the brisket was dry as sawdust, even the vinegar and sugar sauce couldn't help. Baked beans were just ok. the other sides were typical cafeteria quality. The atmosphere was odd since the loud noises from hand chopping meat drowned out any chance of conversation. paid $30+ for the experience. Not likely to return. Save your $$$ an eat at China Flag or Logans for a better value.

First let me say I used to love podnuhs. After today I won’t be giving them anymore money. It’s not worth the risk. I used to tell people this was the place to go for consistency but now it seems as of late the only thing consistent is the lack of management and poor food quality. Three times I’ve wasted money at this location due to ribs either being so dry it was like jerky, food being undercooked, no bread, and now a rotten Podtato. I’m sickened and saddened by what appears to be the future downfall of this franchise.

Two employees were there, one was talking to a friend at the table and seemed bothered by us being there. The other, a man, also seemed bothered and was not very helpful with the menu or meat selection. Zero stars for the customer service, zero stars for the banana pudding and three stars for the baked beans. The beans saved the entire meal, in a nut shell… don’t spend your money where it’s not appreciated.

Ordered take out at location. My order was incorrect and I was overcharged. When I got home the ribs were dry and overcooked. The pulled pork was under done and chopped in 1 to 2 inch cubes. Was tough to break down into usable portion for a sandwich ie couldn't shred it. Sent a survey to the website and no reply. Just an update. The customer service manager did contact me. He offered Apologies and told me to reorder at my usual store on Mansfield rd complementary. I did and the food was absolutely awesome and no questions asked . Mansfield rd podnuhs is 5 star no doubt.🙂

Went too late and the brisket was not great. Ribs and sides were good but I think it is better to go during the day. I prefer the Mansfield location but last time I went the cashier was rude. She definitely need to work in the back.

Had a ride experience last time I came to get food....spoke with the owner, who assured me he would handle things. Just tried going back a month later.....same rude service. I won't be trying again.

Enjoyed my meal today, everyone was super friendly. I felt comfortable being there.

I ordered a brisket potato. The meat was so dry and was not seasoned at all. However the potato was loaded with brisket. My husband thought the same thing about his potato as well. Maybe it was dry and unseasoned since it was after 6pm. I would not reccomend that menu item

Ordered brisket sandwich bread is molded and nasty , ain't no way someone just simply missed it. Won't be coming back my 1st and last time eating from yall .

The guy who gave us the card back after paying accused us of “snatching” the card away from him as he gave it back ! WE HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT!! These people were rude I WILL NEVER GO BSCK THERE EVER AGAIN !! There was no one there, NOW I CAN SEE WHY!! We did nothing at all!!!

Amazing bbq! Vinegar based sweet sauce. So yummy! Beans are out off this world!! Huge huge huge "podtato"!! But that girl who took our order could not have been more rude. Southern hospitality is lost up in this place.

Brisket was very dry but flavor was solid. I'd not be inclined to return in any kind of a hurry. Place was empty.

The meat, and sauce were good but cold, the skin on my ribs, and chicken were tough you could barley chew it. The meat was tender. The brisket was ok. The sides dishes were the best part of the meal.

Absolutely no complaints here. Come on let's get that BBQ!

I love coming here for their lunch plates, especially the smoked turkey sandwich with two sides on Wednesday. Delicious, and you can't beat the price!

Food was good,but small portions of meat then you'd expect from a BBQ place. Staff seemed to just want us to get food fast and leave (not friendly) But overall food was good so will return.

I was leary to try this one because the Podnuh's that was close to where i used to work wasn't that great. I've been working in this area for almost 2 years now and this is the first time i tried to go to Podnuh's. Country Tavern has been shut down and i really wanted some BBQ. Long story short. SO GOOD! I got the chopped brisket sandwich with potato salad and baked beans, sweet tea and a side of cobbler. Everything was so very good! And to top it all off, the older gentleman working the drive thru window was so very pleasant. It just warmed my heart! Thank you, Podnuh's! This is exactly what this girl needed!

Came in for a small bite. All the drive through restaurants had long lines but I had no wait here at 2pm. Grabbed a small hot link sandwich, it was cooked and the temp was warm. Restaurant appeared to be clean and sectioned off for social distance. There was a TV available to watch. The restaurant could use some small touch-ups, but they are minor.

Turkey and corn were great! Potato salad was mediocre. Ribs tasted like they had been cooked for quite a while.

There is just something special about the food here. The baked beans and potato salad are worth it alone.

One of the best BBQ joints in town. My personal favorites are the smoked turkey and sausage platter with the potato salad and beans. My family and I always enjoy the family brisket meal deals, which are very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Eat in or take out, either way it's delicious!

Not the best in town but good. I do love their beans! They also have a new Podtato that's pretty good. Chopped beef sandwich is good as well as the ribs. Service is always quick. It's buffet style. You walk down the line and get what you want. Prices are on the cheaper side so that a plus. Negative is no beer!
