Always a great atmosphere. Cool people and staff. IPA guy. So only tried a couple beers. Very good.

Update 2024: We have been back the past 2 years we were in town and for the last visit in June of this year, we signed up and came for Sunday morning Yoga, which was a lot of fun for the family. Afterwards we had some beers and got a great Cuban sandwich from the food truck out back. Just like the prior times, cool people to strike up a conversation with as well. One of our favorite breweries! (The beer is good too!) Original Review: Missed this place last year at an off time, but glad we stopped in after some mini-golf this year. I enjoyed the “boot” of beer and we had some fun with the games they have on hand. Friendly bartender and patrons, we actually got a really good recommendation from someone for dinner afterwards. We’ll be back!

Stopped by on a whim on way back from the beach. Everything we tried was fantastic!! Pineapple and tangerine sour were absolutely delicious!! Such a fun vibe and everyone working was so friendly. 100% recommend.

Excellent brewery! Came here on a Monday evening when it wasn’t too crowded. Had the Mexican lager, Hefeweizen, barely wine (not pictured), and triple IPA. No single style disappointed. My favorites were the Hefeweizen and III IPA. I prefer a cloudier barelywine but this did not disappoint. The brewtender was very friendly and the music was good as well. Enjoyed the vibe too! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a top notch SW Florida brewery to visit.

Great place for a beer and good guitar on Saturdays

Probably the greatest beer ever, End to Ender, brewed with Vermont maple syrup. These guys do it right. We do breweries everywhere. You have to find a way here.

Awesome brewery! They have a great selection. My all-time favorite is the full breakfast. We've met some pretty cool people here. They have board and card games here and sometime have a food truck. They are dog friendly as well. 👍

This brewery is a must-go when visiting the Fort Myers/Sanibel area! Hanging at Point Ybel Brewing was one of the highlights of our vacation this week. We were really impressed with the beer, lots of variety & you can tell a lot of thought went into the recipes. Ten IPA & Pineapple Snook Bite were our faves. Fun & chill atmosphere, too! Good crowd of locals & owner was super welcoming. They also had great merch if you’re looking for a local souvenir. Thanks for the good times!

Wow so ok. Have you been here? Small but ferocious. Like my favorite shorgi, whose name was predetermined by the gods or previous caregiver , to be Trent. A name of names, to which he occasionally responds. So back to our newest discovery. The point ybel. So pointy, this ybel. Things to do every epoch ( or perhaps day). The beverages are intoxicating. No really, they actually are. Is fact. But both taste wise and you know, actual. Ok, get the standpoint, if you know what’s good for you. Food trucks seem to be here a bunch, too. Ok, I am ignoring my bff. Gotta go. So, to sum up, s’great.

Moved to the area a few months ago and decided to check out the brewery for their 10 year anniversary. Classy all around. The beers were very good and the love music was awesome. Nice food truck set up as well, really enjoyed the variety of trucks. Will definitely be back! Happy Anniversary!!!

Small brewery located in a strip mall. Glad I was looking for it otherwise I may have missed it. There is a large variety of beer on tap to choose from, the 2 that I had were good. Everyone there seemed to know each other, which gave it a strong local vibe, and some interesting conversations. Glad I stopped in

Great Craft Brewer We were staying at Ft. Myers Beach RV Resort for 2 weeks and found this gem on our last day before going home. Basically right across the street and what a gem it is. We were there a little after noon on a Saturday. Quite a few people enjoying the brews being offered and a pleasant surprise - live music! A Jimmy Buffetish guy strumming an acoustic guitar, no back tracks, singing his heart out covering Jimmy Buffet, Jim Croce, Billy Joel, Elton John, The Eagles, etc. And let's not put the brew offerings on a 2nd string. Unless I'm mistaken, everything they offer is made by them and the beertenders have no problem providing tasters to help with your decision making. I had tasters of the Grey Mangrove Smoked Porter, Little Attenuater German Bock, and Schlucker Bier German Dark Lager which were all excellent, and after much angst, I selected a full glass of The Full Breakfast, a nitro milk stout that was spectacular - one I believe would be award winning. Dark as night with a firm light brown head served up in a glass mug just like a morning cocoa. And hey, these biertenders are on the ball! They took the time to put a smiley face into the head just to make the whole experience a little more delightful. Take that you latte folks and your little tree or leaf foamed milk decoration! The beer was smooth as silk with the usual mouth feel of a nitro. Good mix of coffee, vanilla and cocoa flavors from start to finish. While we didn't take part, there was a food truck out back providing guests with eats. If we didn't have a plane to catch, we would have spent more time here. Not a fancy place in a fancy setting, just great beer in a comfy taproom worthy of your visit.

This brewery has a good selection of about 20 beers to choose from. Most we tried were very good. The taproom is small but adequate for the Friday afternoon that we visited seating is either on barstools at the bar or at picnic tables out in front of the beer. The brewery had a nice vibe when we visited. My main critique is that nowhere could we find the price of each kind of beer posted anywhere. A menu board on the wall showed %ABV but no prices. The QR code on the table directs users to a site with detailed descriptions of each beer, but again no price. As a consumer, I like to know before I buy anything how much it costs. As it turned out the beers were not expensive, so why not display the prices somewhere? Also missing for this time of year were my traditional favorites for Oktoberfest season: the Marzen style of beer. The bar was decorated for Oktoberfest, but no Marzen or festbier in the rotation. Fortunately, the beers I tried from what's available were outstanding. Therefore 5 stars. Gotta post your pricing though, Point Ybel.

Excellent local brewery, pleasurable low-key atmosphere. Their niche is NEIPAs and sours, but lots of other great styles as well. Food trucks on certain days. Perfect place to meet up with family and friends.

Tried getting a growler. Do not fill growlers. Also tried getting a crawler could not get that filled either. Normally like this brewery however could not take any of the four beers we liked to go. Probably will not be back. In response we came in with a growler and your bartenders response was that you do not fill growlers. So then we asked for a crowler he told us he couldn’t do that with no explanation. I understand you not wanting to fill a nitro beer but don’t understand why we couldn’t have gotten one of the other four dark beers. We decided to leave.

Ask to fill growler and no go. Ask to can beer and no go. Why should I be back.

Small but relaxed space. Very well themed. The bartenders were courteous and helpful with beer selection. Kind of in love with their Key Lime Cream Ale... Excited to see if they change things up during the summer months.

I was in the area for an errand, but loved stumbling across this hidden gem of a local, well run and youthful family business. Right away, when I walked in to Point Ybel Brewing Company, i saw and felt a difference, the vibe reminded me of the pubs I frequented when I lived in Europe. Locals enjoying a Friday night chatting with their friends over a beer. Simple - but the way it should be…And what a beer! Kudos to the brewmaster…I tried their flagship beer called Snook bite. I must admit I couldn’t have just one…now I’ll have to make it a point to get back and try some of their other craft beer selections. Thank you Team Point Ybel. P.S. - Talking with other patrons I could tell that your local Fort Myers community is proud of your business.

Excellent beers & staff was outstanding!!!

I too had a similar experience to another reviewer..... Atmosphere of bar area was very comfortable and inviting. The beer was excellent. Some of the best I've had in SW Florida however, the person behind the bar on the evening of 12/29/22 was absolutely miserable. Simply asking for a beer seemed like I was horribly inconveniencing him. Any other questions were met with short, one word answers. About as cold a server as I've ever experienced. Almost made you not want to go back and ask for another beer. Which was what we decided to. Only when I was paying my tab did I get feigned attempt at politeness. Customer service like that is bad for business guys.

These guys know their brews and music! The Full Breakfast cream stout is lovely, and my husband enjoyed his pilsner a lot too... amazing range of tasty offerings for a boutique-sized craft brewery! We'd love to see more evening music, but maybe the market doesn't justify it. 6-9pm live Irish sessions Thursday nights are a great reason to go, at least for us. In any case, stop by for a brew, they are great!

Great atmosphere and vibe. Came in on a Saturday, there was live music. We sat at a picnic table inside, there were table games as well as board games you could play if you wanted. The bathroom was clean, unisex, and decorated with stickers, I loved it. I got a shirt too. I'd recommend going here. My husband loved the Snookbite IPA the best. The food truck was just out back and they even brought it inside to your table. Happy to have spent my Saturday lunch there.

Sampled 5 of their brews..goodness....my absolute favorite was Anomaly Sour...soo good. Next was Waterkeeper Hefe. And one of the smoothest stouts was the Rowdy Stout...love the creaminess! Bought the shirt too....Slainte!

The best Brewery in town so far I've been too!!

While the beer at Point Ybel was delicious, the service was not. The bartender seemed like he would rather be anywhere else. This is the downfall of the craft beer industry, just don’t see how anyone who is not a fan of craft beer can have a fun time here. Another positive note is the food truck out back was delicious!

I love this place! My favorites are the Tangerine Sour and Focal Point IPA. I love that they do cans-to-go.

Really cool place. Definitely has an "up north" vibe, which I think is a good thing. Feels like ur neighborhood tavern, but actually far from it. They serve specialty brew made on site, and have one to suit everyone's taste. Whether ur in the mood for something light and citrusy or have a heavier craving for chocolate, they are sure to have one u will enjoy. My boyfriend never drinks beer, but he loves this place! It's a great place to try something new.

Bartender was welcoming and helpful I don’t know her name but she was great She informed Me dogs are welcome, so Instead of just picking up some beers to go my wife and dog came in and had a beer. My pup had a great time, definitely coming back.

So wish we lived here. This would be our favorite brewery. The Escampara stout is delicious! The Sanibel Snow also very good. The Tangerine TFR sour is so tasty and Dakota is very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Passed this place soooo many times over the years finally stopped in today & had a delicious Strawberry Belgian Whit. Didn't grab my photo as I was cracking up at the live musician Josh Kerwin singing about my 4yr old son ignoring his music for his tablet! 🤣 Will definitely make our way back again!

John was so personable. It was a great atmosphere with Dot's pretzels. The Snook Bite, Mango Snook Bite, No See Um, Share the Love and Focal Point wrre amazing! Definitely a place to relax and enjoy some beer!

My wife and I stopped by on our trip to SW Florida last week and are sure glad we did. Hands down our favorite brewery and the best beer around. Loved that they had a wide array of styles to choose from, and all were fantastic. Our experience was especially memorable due to the excellent service by Tim & Katie. Tim & I connected about our love for the Buckeyes and our Ohio roots. This place felt like "home". Will 1000% be back on our next trip to the area. Cheers!

Great beers, friendly brewer. I had a couple great stouts and a couple great IPAs. The brewery who was trending bar did a great job talking about the beer.

Best atmosphere is impossible. This is place is child's friendly and service the best variety of beers in town. You need to try the breakfast stout. Is like the best dessert you can ever have.

Delicious beer and great service! We enjoyed our stop at Point Ybel Brewing Company. If you’re into craft beer, they have a great variety from IPAs to stouts. Give them all a try. If you’re lucky to have Tim as your bartender, you’ll definitely be treated well. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stopped in here last week for the first time. Tim, the bartender, was great! He provided us with samples of quite a few beers and all of them were fantastic. Normally I don’t like sours but the tangerine sour and the mango sour were very tasty. We got crowlers for each of those and Fight The Perception. If you haven’t tried their beer, put it on your list of places to go.

Try the sours. So good. Very friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.
