Used to great.... now its very inconsistent. Last three sandwiches I've had there have been terrible. I think its family owned, when the family is there doing it, its good, but when the hired help makes your sandwich its pretty bad.

Found this place through the reviews on Google. Gotta tell you- everyone's right!! This place is AMAZING, and I hope they get a line out the door, because they deserve it. I got the pork banh mi, and my husband got the Zen Special, and we shared an avocado dream boba smoothie and an iced Vietnamese coffee. Will come back daily for the remainder of our vacation. We want to try everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

You need to check this place out! The food is fresh, the people are wonderful, and the staff went out of their way to make it an awesome experience for me. They not only made the food gluten free but took the time to ask about my allergies so they could set me up for success. This is a great business! 10 out of 10!

Stopped here for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. They have way more than just teas and boba. Very impressive array of the menu and lots of vegan options!! This will be our new spot! We got the passion fruit tea with strawberry boba, mango passion fruit tea as our drinks. The banh mi , the Italian , and the secret garden and I was all amazing, the is bread a 10/10.

Great food. Friendly and efficient service. I had the Italian sub and it was very delicious. My friend got the pho and was impressed.

Highly recommend! We just happened to stop by and definitely found some of the best Pho and unique deli sandwiches! Staff was super nice and attentive! We had the P1 and the Zen special and both were amazing! Full of flavor! Boba tea flavors are great as well. Just all around great food and service!

My boyfriend and I were visiting the area and stumbled upon this deli. Every staff member we met was incredibly kind and helpful and the food was amazing! If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definetly stop by!

This Zen deli is so good I had to go 2 days in a row during my vacation here - the Bahn Mi combo sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the egg rolls, and the black coffee milk tea was perfect and the best I've ever had. I'll come back here again every time I'm in town!

Not only is the food 10/10. Chris gave us excellent service, very friendly. I recommend the turkey Rueben. And the Thai tea with boba(if you like tea drinks) tried the sirracha turkey and the zen special both good but the winner for me is the turkey Ruben.

Food is fresh tastey and homemade!! Great change from the fast food restaurants Try it, you will be back!

I have ordered takeout here at least once a week for lunch for the last year or so and I cannot recommend this place enough. The Sriracha Turkey Sub is amazing and is my “go to”. Their sandwiches are flavorful and aren’t dry like a lot of places. The employees are super friendly and I look forward to my encounter with them every week. In a climate where good customer service and employees are hard to find this place seems to have found some standouts. These guys get it right every time.

I happen to have family staying with us looking for a good Pastrami sandwich… I was about to go to a local franchise close to Costco but instead my husband found this gem. My husband and I are foodies and always looking for the local mom and pa restaurants. Zen Deli has a complete variety of dishes for the vegan, Asian and even Some Jewish food✅ the Boba shakes were delicious, Pastrami on rye was juicy. I decided to try their Lobster bisque as the young man behind the counter said it is home made with a twist of flavor… It was delicious… I will be coming back and try their Pho and their Pha Thai 😊

A while back when I was in the area, surprisingly I found this place after searching for some good Asian food places knowing the area not having many culturally-diverse options. I got their Thai milk tea and Zen combo banh mi, and I couldn't enjoy them more. Though next time I should ask about changing the sugar amount for the milk tea. I can't speak much to the overall service experience since I had take-out, but what I can say is that the guys got me my order pretty quickly in like 5-10 minutes or so - shout out to Chris for helping me! There's a lot on the menu that I wanna try, so I'll definitely come back again soon. Thanks guys!

I don’t go out to eat often but I love stopping at Zen Deli for a quick pick me up or great lunch. The Vietnamese coffee is my favorite and always a high rec! If you get a chance, definitely try Zen Deli and thanks to Lena and Chris for always providing a great service!!

This has become a favorite, we’ve been back several times and really like this place. The food Is made fresh, delicious and the staff is super nice. We had the tofu delight sandwich, vegetable delight entree, pumpkin soup, they all were excellent and finished off with the salted Vietnamese coffee…So good Highly recommended, support a local, family business.

It’s a dream restaurant for any health conscious person into vegetarian and vegan cuisine. They have all types of vegan meat options and dishes. The representation was good. The rye bread was stylish, the pastrami was cold cut style not brisket cut pastrami nothing like KATZ more like Publix. The mustard was too sweet not grey poupon or spicy brown mustard and not served with pickles. I am fro NY so I expected that kosher brisket style. The smoothly was delicious. I want restaurants to thrive but if you’re from NY and like Kats , Bens, or kosher deli brisket style this is not it. My review is for you and people like me that are looking for what I expected. Businesses like your grow from constructive criticism. If you already have your clientele my review does not change the fact how I was impacted. You do better when you know better. My review was to encourage as well as expectations. I did not appreciate your response of my review. You would want clients to buy from you and feel comfortable about how they feel.

Go here! Awesome place. We had an incredible experience at Zen Deli during our travels this week. We needed a quick stop on our way to Ft. Myers beach. Not knowing the area, we bumped into this gem. The atmosphere was inviting, with a great ambience. The beef/meatball pho was not only very generous in size, but also exceptionally fresh and delicious. It had a deep base and full of great flavor. The pork bahn mi sandwich was a delight, generously loaded with meat and veggies, featuring perfectly cooked bread. I’ve had hundreds of bahn mi and can tell you that this choice of bread was unique and my new favorite!!! Very full and hearty sandwich. You HAVE TO try this sandwich! The pork noodle salad balanced meat, noodles, and veggies perfectly, reminiscent of our favorite back home. The cleanliness of the environment was noteworthy. Entrance, dinning area and bathrooms we super clean. We also enjoyed two refreshing smoothies with Boba bubbles, accommodating our dietary needs, the team made awesome choices to give us super tasty boba filled smoothies to take on our journey. The staff's friendliness and great attitude added to the overall positive impression. Highly recommend this place to anybody seeking a fantastic dining experience.

Wow! What an amazing sandwich (secret garden) I was passing through and needed a vegetarian sandwich togo on my way back home. The entire menu looked great (something for everyone) I also ordered the honeydue milk tea with coconut milk. My entire experience was delicious and the service was friendly. I wish I lived local. Thanks for a great experience.

Not knowing what the menu was, I stopped in to get a thank you sandwich for a friend. And then I looked at the menu and saw my favorite, pho! Came back and ordered chicken pho, take out. It’s awesome, broth is outstanding, lots of chicken, good price …. And it’s close to my home! I’ll be trying other dishes if I can force myself not to just keep eating the pho! The restaurant is nice, the staff is nice! Five stars from me!

I have tried several items from the menu, and everything is super yummy, tasty and addictive. The last thing I tried was the Vietnamese Coffee...I am addicted to it now. I don't usually like iced coffee, but this one from Zen got me going. I will recommend this place to everyone. The place is super clean, very friendly environment and best of all, great flavors.

I recently drove past this restaurant and figured I’d give it a try. I was NOT disappointed. I got the sriracha turkey sandwich and I can safely say I will be craving this until I order it again. The bread is perfect soft yet crispy. So glad I found this place. I will be telling all my friends about it. Thanks guys!! Great food.

Interesting little deli we found on our trip. Had a variety of food and sandwiches. Even our kids enjoyed the food so I'd call that a win! We didn't get to try the Boba but it look good!

Such a hidden gem!!! Have lived down the street from Zen for a while and totally regret just finding out about it. Had THE BEST vegan/gluten free meal of my life!!! The Bahn Mi is truly to DIE for! So many great healthy options and such great vibes inside. Will be back again and again and again!

This is my go-to vegan spot in Ft Myers. The BEST sandwiches, I get the Vegan Delight every single time. They know me by name. The owner will sit down and talk to you. They care and you can tell that in the food they make. And if you want a REAL treat and have room get a boba tea 😍

Been to this place twice with my Wife and have been nothing short of impressed. The prices are fair, the staff is friendly and the food is spectacular! The Orange Chicken was so tender but had that nice crispy edge… awww!! 😋 The Boba Teas we had were also a delight! Come to this place!! 😎👌

Went in today for the first time for a protein smoothie. My server was fantastic! So informative and kind. It was a perfect smoothie for me. Will be back for more of them and to try everything on the menu.

Was down in Fort Myers with Red Cross last month, helping w hurricane recovery. While there, we visited Zen Deli TWICE (was that good the first time) for a quick lunch. Small quiet place. The service AND food both were excellent. Made it a point to visit one last time before went home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is in their area.

The banh mi was incredible (especially for this area) and very filling. The tea was also delicious. Customer service was great and we were upgraded to large teas free of charge for our wait and comped a vegan chili that didn't make it into our order

I thought the turkey sandwich was pricey at $12 but thought it might be something really good. I was wrong, it didn't even have the avocado inside and about $0.50 worth of turkey. So either the bread is crazy expensive or the lettuce is, as that was the bulk of the sandwich. My wife's Reuben was cold but we heated up better at home and it was ok...still, not worth the Disney prices. Just go to publics and get much more at a better price. No clue how they get away with the pricing of $12 for a $6 sandwich anywhere else. I literally got a better sandwich down the road at Family Discount for $6.

Had lobster bisque and chicken dumpling. They were SO GOOD! Fresh ingredients. Well worth the price. Only wished they sold a side of rice to eat with my dumpling.

Amazing! I’m visiting from Maine and walked around the flea market trying to pick something to eat. I tried their Orange chicken and it was delicious! Definitely wasn’t overpriced like a lot of other places. Good portion. Thank you!
