The food and drink here at this establishment reminds me exactly of the ending of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It feels like my taste buds are the ones falling into the center of the bottomless monolith. They're getting sent hundreds of thousands of light years away from this earth being led by an extraterrestrial conscience. Aka the tastes of this establishment are otherworldly.

Ive been going to PomPoms consistently for about 6 years. I used to get the Low Rider on pumpernickle (not on the menu anymore) but keep an eye out for it on the daily special menu! Now I get The Cobb on sourdough and its delicious every time. My favorite teas are pumpkin spice and blueberry frost. I typically get the tea of the day though, they are always yummy. You should definitely try the creamy basil sauce too, its soooo good. The workers have always been great. They are all friendly faces that look happy to be there. The decor is so cool and supports small artists which is a huge plus. Anytime I have a friend or family member visiting from out of town, I bring them here. Its a great place to just sit and have a nice conversation. I will continue to support PomPoms as they are one of my favorite restaurants.

It's one of my favorite sandwiche places. The Thanksgiving sandwiche is a must try. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The dining area is neat and clean, as well as the restroom. They also have some very yummy homemade cookies. I 100% recommend going.

I've been to Pom Pom's a few times over the years, and they've never disappointed me. The portions are always enough to fill me up, and whether ordering catering, delivery, or going into the (lovely) restaurant -- I always have a good experience and leave debating on if I should have bought another sandwich for the next day.

Came to dine in and had The Woody, Mac and Cheese, and the German Potato. The food was nice, atmosphere was cute and the waitstaff was very friendly! Would recommend takeout the service was a little slow.

I drive 25-30m to come here and some days, I literally crave Thai and Melon tea and the Woody sandwich with the spicy Mac. You will not be disappointed. Absolutely phenomenal joint!

Amazing. Put this on your destination list. Every time I find myself in Orlando, it’s way too early for a sandwich. Today, the stars aligned and I found myself on Bumby at 2:00, starving. So I did the right thing, and went to Pom Pom’s. The last time I stepped foot into this restaurant, they had only been open for a few years, and I had a mama ling ling. Sour bread, turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. You also get gravy to dip it in. Today I had it again, with peanut noodles on the side, which was basically a scoop of pad Thai. It was amazing. Both of them. I couldn’t finish my sandwich, and took some of it home. It probably only sat in the fridge for 20 minutes before I took it out and ate what was left. I absolutely love this place. My mom was with me and she loved her sandwich too. The customer service is great. If comfy seating is a factor when you eat, this is a good place to order ahead and take it home. There is a bench but it’s very small and not great on the back. The rest are chairs and high tops. When this place is busy, it’s busy. But regardless, it’s so worth the wait. Sorry. No photos taken. I was hungry.

Great food, cute atmosphere, and very unique sandwiches. It's definitely the BEST place to go for late night snacks or anytime really. This is not a fast food place so be patient. There has been an occasion or two where staff can be a little "rough around the edges" but regardless still always a 5 star.

Warm and kind service and the Thanksgiving sandwich is AMAZING!!! Visiting from out of town and it's definitely a hidden gem.

This funky little cafe serves up some of the most creative and delicious sandwiches in town, along with a wide selection of teas and sweets. But it's not just the food that makes Pom Poms so special. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They're always happy to recommend a sandwich or tea to suit your taste. We just learned about their Tuesday bingo night. Every Tuesday, they host a bingo game where you can win some pretty awesome prizes, like...meat? Yeah I'm down to win meat. I'm not sure what's more outrageous, the prizes or the fact that they actually have a bingo night. But I'm here for it. If you're looking for a fun and delicious place to eat in Orlando, I highly recommend Pom Poms. Just be sure to bring your appetite and your sense of whimsy. Shout out to Samantha and Jay for being awesome and helping us pick something delicious to munch on.

The establishment is such a vibe. Great place to bring friends to have a good meal and talk. Lovely staff, lovely service. It’s a good cafe to add onto my list. You would like it here if you like stardust or drunken monkey!

Food is pretty good! Reasonably priced too for the area! Its mostly just sandwiches, my girlfriend really liked the mac n cheese. Servers were great and very friendly!

Really nice little place for a quick bite to eat, food was tasty and service was very fast. We had the viet pom sandwich and the ham and salami melt. Definitely recommend!

I always get mama lings thanksgiving or the roast beef. So good. The German potato salad is great. The thai tea and green jasmine is perfect. The teas are brewed with care and show it. There's limited seating but I never have to wait too long.

Great food!!! Wonderful teas both hot and cold everything from black teas, green teas, fruity & florals. Sandwiches have a fun and tasty variety. They carry the best chocolate chip cookies as well.

Several occasions in the past I come there and you are out of Brie cheese and then have the decency to come. Tell me when I think that it’s time for my sandwich to come out after waiting for so long and then now I have to wait again someone needs to maybe in the manager or someone important need to order more inventory of brie cheese since it’s so popular would make me very happy customer

Pom Pom's was a delightful surprise! I stumbled upon it while searching for a place to eat in the evening, and I'm glad I did. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, especially after adding brisket to it. The spicy mac and cheese was also a great choice. They offer a nice variety of teas, and the service was excellent. I would definitely return for another meal at Pom Pom's!

Went for lunch with a friend. Interesting & appealing offerings, offbeat fun atmosphere. Our server was friendly & knew the menu items well. I had a tuna melt & German potato salad. Wow, great homemade taste! My friend loved his salad (and he's hard to please). My chilled tea was delicious. Look forward to my next visit!

Delightful service from Jessica! She was very friendly and made sure my matcha was perfect for me. The German potato salad was nice and warm, yummy as well. I did get one of their vegan sandwich options, it was simple and tasty but I think I’d like to try one of their hot sandwiches next time! I got the Alicia B which has a fruit chutney which was v good, the red onions on it paired nicely. I came in 30 minutes before close and was welcomed in when many places would be upset at someone coming so close to closing time. Thank you! I’ll be back again next time I’m in the area🫶

Absolutely love this place! Great atmosphere the two ladies working there that attended me had the best customer service and made me feel so welcomed and were very helpful and knowledgeable in what to offer being this was my 1st time here. Prices are reasonable and so worth it for the food. I got a salami and Ham with arugula melt it was so delicious with this green cilantro sauce and the spicy Mac and cheese is next level with great bold flavors. I will definitely come visit here again and let everyone I know for they can also try this delicious food and experience the great service here!

I love this place! The peanut noodles are amazing. Every sandwich I've had is unique and flavorful. The desserts and tea are good too! It's great taking advantage of the late weekend hours after the bar or a night out shopping or the theater.

Stopped in here while looking for some late night food after being out at the local bars. Absolutely charming, reasonable prices, and fantastic sandwiches. Tried the Woody and the Big Daddy, both were layered perfectly with a great combination of flavors for sides we got the German Potato and the spicy Mac n cheese and we would order both again. Staff were very friendly and attentive with some beautiful artwork on the wall to perfect the atmosphere. 10/10!

I always have a great meal at Pom Pom! I always get the tea of the day and I have tried several different sandwiches but my current favorite is the yellow curry chicken salad. One of the servers recommended adding in the ginger cranberry chutney and that has been a game changer!

This place is very cozy for alt singles to look confused in. Unfortunately, for a tea house and sandwich, there aren't a lot of unique teas and the sandwiches I can have at home or go to a hispanic bakery for a cheaper price. Why is a turkey sandwich with veggies 15 dollars. And 6.50 for a medium sized Thai tea? It's giving mid mid for pricey price. The sandwich I had with brisket and gouda was delicious though. Mayyybe not worth how much it was, but still good. The German potato I did not like at all but my friend did. The best part is the service with very friendly cashiers, and nice art for people to enjoy an environment. I recommend going here once, at least for lunch. Otherwise just go here in your best outfit and mingle.

To give this place 5 stars does it no justice! The service, the atmosphere, and the FOOD was amazing!!! I enjoyed this Lasagna soup so much I was speechless for 30 mins! The sandwich I tried was the special for today and it was great! Definitely a great late night spot for a filling meal!

Tried this place as a part of a group meet up. I got a Thai milk tea and a Thanksgiving sandwich. The sandwich was good, but it was a bit much to spend over $20 for a sandwich and a drink. They also completely forgot someone in the groups order and then said the kitchen was too backed up. She had ordered a PB&J sandwich, so that seemed weird. They do have a nice selection of teas. Just note that all other teas have refills, just not the milk teas. A very creative menu of sandwiches. Recommend if wanting to go to try a specific sandwich.

Went for the first time and got the ham and cheese melt. The bread was toasted but that was about it. There was no “melt”. The ham was cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. Also our server was rushing us from the time we walked in to the time we left and we were the only two in the restaurant. I always try to support local businesses, but this was very disappointing. I’ll be back to give it another try, but overall would not recommend as a must see.

Please bring back the "The Low Rider" sandwich! So sad to go and it was not on the menu

Pom Poms has always come through with the heat. Amazing unique sandwiches and great service. Definitely try this spot if you're looking for a switch from the sandwich norm, but don't worry they also have the reg stuff too. Also do not pass up on the Spicy Mac, it's a must have!

Sorry Pom ...... can't do it any more. Tried to be supportive of this place that used to be a neighborhood gem. While I appreciate Pom's pleas for more business, you need to deliver to your customers when they return. Been going here for many years. As of late, no quality control on the food and the teas, which used to be sometimes stunning in their flavor, are barely brewed and flavorless. Final straw is putting real meat on a vegan sandwich. Same old menu made with what feels like very little effort. If you are publicly pleading for folks to come back, be ready for them. Waaay too much competition in the neighborhood now. Still a cool vibe, but the food and drink has to come first in a restaurant.

Dr. Szumlanski told me to check out the Thanksgiving sandwich and let me just say WOW that man was right!

Grab yourself a Mama Ling Ling's Thanksgiving Sandwich. It's heaven on bread dipped in gravy. It's the only thing I ever get and well worth the trip every time.

The food has improved so I’m moving it back to 5 stars. This place use to be great but today is was not. The instructions for the order were not followed and it resulted in a gross sandwich. The brisket was dry and hard, it was almost inedible. The gravy was not included with mamas thanksgiving sandwich, major bummer. The “chicken salad” I received was more like curry, not even sure if it was the correct item but it was not good at all. I would not recommend take out or delivery.

I was really hyped up to end my trip here and try their teas. Ordered a rose iced tea. I don't know if it was because after me, there was a long line of people, but when I got my tea, it honestly was not steeped enough. It was basically water. It really disappointed me. Don't let it deter you from coming here but if you order a iced tea, make sure it's steeped enough so that it's not just water with really slight flavoring.

No pictures of the food because it was sooo delicious we devoured it! We went right after Southern and was very impressed with the food! Our entire table was happy and the selections were great, Great service and this was at 2:30am! Wonderful can’t wait to go back! Thanks !

🔥 the Thanksgiving sandwich is banging plus open late

A very disappointing experience. We were there by ourselves with 3 employees, someone at the bar, the guy who sat us, and a cook. We were the only customers for 30 minutes after we ordered and it still took an additional 15 minutes after other customers arrived for four sandwiches. We saw two customers who came in roughly 35 minutes after we ordered get there salads within 5 minutes of being in the restaurant. Just an unusual and frustrating experience with waiting. The food was good at least. The thanksgiving and roast beef Gouda were both great.

This is the customer service this girl provided; I wondered if she was having a lousy night, BUT THIS IS NOT GREAT customer service! She was not letting us have a sit when other people were eating inside the restaurant; it wasn’t the last hour. I still don’t know why she took our orders; when I had a seat, she grabbed my order and put it outside. I was shocked! Rude! Racist or homophobic, I don't know! There is room for everybody in ORLANDO, sweetheart! I wish you the best! Consider going somewhere else. There are plenty of options in the area.

Went over to grab some sandwiches after hanging out with my girlfriend downtown. The staff was very helpful and just fun to talk to. The sandwiches were delicious and the side of spicy mac and cheese was great. I was also impressed with the variety and quality of the teas they have. Will be coming back to try more of their menu. Their PB&J cupcake was surprisingly good too. The jelly tasted very fresh and not overly sweet. Overall would recommend!

This place is the best, and repeatedly wins best sandwich of Orlando year after year and there is a reason for. Come check out the amazing sandwiches and beautiful teas. Took my wife out to eat and it was an experience food was excellent, service was excellent, atmosphere was excellent... Great place

The food is normally great. I went today and the mac and cheese was super cold in the center like it was left over from the previous day. Seeing as I drove 40 min away, I called to advise I would be returning for a refund and bringing the food so they see I did not eat. The man who answered the phone kept speaking over me. It was rude, unprofessional , as well as unnecessary . I will never go again. They also reheat in styrofoam cups . The melting styrofoam is very bad for your health. A hole in the wall for good food , but definitely not service.

Have to say it's been a while since we have eaten at Pom Poms do to us moving so much further away, but we were in the area and wanted some good lunch and all I can say is they have not lost there touch!! Sandwich the Woody and also there BIG Daddy taste great!! Must try if your in the area. They also have great tea's

My melt was cold, the soup was grainy and from a can, and they put way too much loose leaf in the small tea pot and it made the tea bitter to the point I couldn't drink it. If you ask for a little sweetener in the tea they are heavy handed on that too. I had high hopes for this restaurant because of my friends recommendations, but it won't be in my top places to go.

And speaking of sandwiches, the two we tried were nothing short of phenomenal. The combination of ingredients may sound unconventional but trust me when I say it just works. It was like a flavor explosion in every bite. But the real star of the show was the rose sake cocktail - a refreshing and subtly sweet libation that was the perfect pairing for our meal. It was like sipping a bouquet of melon soaked roses, in the best possible way. If you're looking for a quirky and delicious lunch spot in Orlando, Pom Pom Tea House and Sandwicheria is a must-try. And if you're lucky enough to have it as part of a Wandering Palm Food Tour, even better. You'll leave feeling full, happy, and maybe even a little bit cooler than when you walked in. In the evening, I heard they have a noodle menu which I have not tried, but I will be back for lunch.

Not very helpful if you have questions about allergens in their breads. Didn’t feel safe eating here since they couldn’t answer basic questions about allergens. No gluten or wheat free options that I could tell. The menu does have vegan options if that’s what you’re after.

The lady at the front counter ruins what is usually an enjoyable experience. Stasios is a better option for a sandwich but the tea selection is amazing!

So I decided to try this spot because I saw it on Tik Tok. I was NOT disappointed. I had the the turkey and bacon sandwich on wheat it was absolutely amazing! The TEA of the day was some rose mix, I asked for it hot and sweetened…YALL it was perfection! The SOUP was the star of the show for me!!!! I got the lemon dill soup with chicken. My first impression was that the pasta was too al dente for my taste but guess what I took half of it home in a to-go cup. The next day! (Today) that thang was BUSSIN😅 flavored so flawlessly that I had to come tell the people. I WILL be back🙏🏾

I’m typically a 5 star only reviewer, but this experience really was 2 stars. My sandwich was fine, but they didn’t even give my friend dressing for her lettuce bowl they called a salad. The real issue was how they ran the place. We ordered at the counter, ordered teas and a water with our food and left a tip because were not jerks. Right after us wave after wave of people came in and they kept taking orders without stopping to make anyones tea. I was done with my food so I asked Em about the teas and she said she was the only one working (I’m assuming she meant besides the 2 cooks) and she’d make them when she could. She then proceeded to take another 10 orders and now the place is full of people who have finished their food and are still waiting on their tea. She then made 6 teas all back to back, and they were all for orders after ours. When I was finally able to get her attention again she was like “oh yeah, what’d you order again? I can make it now.” We’re heading to an event we can’t bring drinks into, so I just want my money back. After another 15 minutes I have my $6 for tea back but just ate the 20% tip for terrible service. As good as the food was I’d stick to pickup orders only or at least don’t tip until the end.

Orlando Staple, you have to try this place! You will not regret it! Try the teas, any sandwiches, all are stellar! Staff is chill and friendly. Atmosphere is great and they support local artists.

We had the Turkey Vietnamese sandwich along with the Mac and cheese, tomato cheese soup and the Billy Chang. The turkey sandwich was definitely better than the Billy Chang but not by too much. The soup was delicious. The Mac and cheese wasn't too bad but overall I'd say it's a solid 3 stars. The bread is flimsy for as much stuff they are cramming on it. The Billy Chang had way too much jam on it and the bread couldn't sustain it. I really wanted to love this place. Not sure I'd go back. Their Instagram pictures seem different than the actual sandwiches. They were also out of a lot of items.

Really disappointed tonight. Went out of our way to try this place after seeing all the great reviews. Got there 50 min before closing and they asked us if we could take our food to go as they were prepping for close. Ordered the Turkey Cranberry, Viet Pom and Big Daddy. Drove off to later discover once we were settled to eat that we got the PBJ instead of one our orders (receipt confirms we did not mistake this in our order and kind of hard to mistaken that). Husband said his sandwich was pretty good.

I’m going to preface this with how much I love this place and think they have some of the best sandwiches you could find in Florida, however I’ve been going here for years now and have noticed a few changes that just make it not as good as it used to be: -hot teas are served in styrofoam cups so you’re getting all those chemicals -the sourdough bread was changed recently which used to be our FAVORITE and is now just not as good -just not a lot of consistency with how good your sandwich is going to be made or if they’re going to have the sides you want. Mac n cheese seems to be out all the time which I’m sure is because of its popularity (also feel like it’d be nice to get a little more than a shot cup for the price) With that said I still love it and recommend. Staff are always great as well. Just seems like there’s been small changes made over the last year or two that make it not quite as great.

It’s always a delight coming here! You would not be disappointed trying Mama Ling Lings Thanksgiving Sandwich. One of the best sandwich places in town. The atmosphere is very unique and cool and the staff are super friendly. It’s one of those places you will crave again.
