Pontilly Coffee shop is a good place to spend your money...BUT!!! When you have a problem with your order YOU CAN NEVER GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE. The number on the website is not correct and the one on Facebook the number goes to a MAGICJACK recording. This my 2nd time having and issue with my order. I purchased 4 Cheese Grits for co-workers and none of the grits had cheese. When you order something, you expect the get to receive what you ordered and what you are charged for, but on top of all this... AT LEAST ANSWER THE PHONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!! THIS ISN'T MCDONALD'S OR BURGER KING, that's something I would expect from them!!

Wow! This place is has a great vibe, positivity is flowing as beautifully as the coffee. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and made to order with love. The service was top notch, great teamwork ladies! Thank you!

Great place. Everything is fresh. The food is great and the drinks are delicious. The outside seating area is super serene. They work really fast but the line is usually long so I don’t come if I’m in a hurry however, overall, I will recommend this place to anyone.

Other than the price being a little high everything else about this place was great

I have been coming here for years. I like the food. The iced coffee is too thin, though. Brewing it hot and adding ice is making it too thin. Brewing it cold and serving it over ice would keep it strong. My last visit will be today because during my last three visits folks have been smoking at the end of the porch area and the smoke reaches the front door. New Orleans is a smoke free city regarding cigarettes in the workplace. I finally mentioned it to the cashier today and she simply said sorry, Pastor allows it. I told her it may be best to move the table on the side. I know that this place provides jobs for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are going through recovery. I support that mission which is why I patronize the Sno-Ball shop, car wash, and here. I won’t any more. There are certain convenience stores that I won’t patronize because they smoke. I hope that y’all change that policy.

Always appreciate the "Welcome to Pontilly Coffee" and the food is great. I had a frappee that they did for me on request with chocolate and soy milk it was delicious. I'm French and can tell the croissant with chocolate is not the best, too dry to my taste. But still 5 stars well deserved !

The BEST coffee in the world that I have tried. Great customer service, they make the drinks quickly, and the prices aren’t bad for New Orleans. I came here every day while I visited New Orleans.

I'm a coffee tourist--meaning I like to try coffee from local places wherever I travel. Earlier this week, on my way out of NOLA I stopped at Pontilly. The Pontilly latte (frozen version) was so good I CAN'T FIND MY SOCKS! They've been knocked clear off. The cashier was super helpful and made sure my coffee was made with alternative milk (I can handle a little whip which is nice but not straight milk). I also had one of the freshest salads I've had on the road--cheddar and chicken I think. My traveling companion said their oversized pastries were scrumdidilyumptious. No gluten-free pastries unfortunately but it is a win for having non-dairy milk. Another win for plenty of seating as well as an enclosed garden for outdoor seating. Indoors there appeared to be plenty of plugs. Between good coffee, good food, great service, and serviceable seating, this is a great place to get work done.

The ambiance is amazing and so calming. Great service and food! I had the caramel frappe this time and it was very good...a nice caramel flavor.

The food is excellent here! The coffee is good. The Salad was delicious and fresh and I couldn't stop eating it. Very fresh ingredients! 😀 The Blue Cheese Dressing went perfect with the fresh chopped chicken salad 🥗. For Under $10 for a large bowl of salad. Overflowing. Can't beat it! Stop here for Lunch! They are open for dinner as well 😊!

Beautiful community & outdoor social atmosphere... But to take away the people rights to smoke outside is a ouch I love my morning coffee & cigarette.

The staff and service is always great. The coffee is very good. It is a locally owned business, which I prefer over national and global chains. My only issue is the music is so loud that having a meeting is almost impossible unless you are yelling over the music or going outside to talk. If this can be changed, then it would be perfect for business or casual sittings.

This place is about 5 minutes away and I decided to try it out so popped in and ordered some coffee and a nolache. I liked the vibe and met up with a friend for tea one day. I will definitely be back. I'm glad that it's so close.

Enjoyed everything! Person who took our order wasn't friendly at all, it was our first time there. But other employees were nicer, and kinda took the sting away.

So fare the best in the area, to start there are no many other places to have a coffee or breakfast around. For me the must important thing in a restaurant is the service, wish is great an amazing in the place. Food is also very good and delicious, very cheap for the amazing experience, the staff is the best thank you

Pontilly outside area is covered with outdoor fans. Every seating area was spacious and roomy The atmosphere is great, and the staff is friendly and respectful. I'm looking forward to the juice bar that will soon open next door. I've tested some of their juices, and I thought they were fairly nice. I paid $6 for a medium iced mocha matcha. Didn't try any of the food but it looked amazing:) great place to study! 10/10 recommended!!!

Come for the friendliest service around and stay for the delicious food. The nolaches, stuffed breads, are some of my favorite breakfast items - the philly cheesesteak and breakfast ones are great. They have a variety of coffee and tea drinks- from a Frappuccino to a hot tea. My favorite is the iced chai latte. Very affordable, too! Don't sleep on this place!

We are passing through and wanted local coffee (not the usual Starbucks) so we searched and this place had the best reviews. We had our iced coffees and a muffin and fruits. It was so delicious 😋 definitely recommend. They are so friendly there too.

I normally get a bagel untouched to see how fresh it is. It was stale . But the ice coffee was good I get it black no sugar to taste the beans and they where good.

Update: Had to get my Mocha Frapp! They've added a beautiful covered patio full of plants and garden decor! Another reason to come hang out or get some work done in Gentilly. Update 11/2022: Christy took care of us today and she went above and beyond for us. Happy to be able to enjoy good coffee, pastries and casual food in this area. This is a "build it and they will come" success story. 2021 - One of the best Mocha Frappuccinos ever! I also enjoy the cappuccino too. The service is always friendly and inviting and it is located conveniently in Gentilly. Folks come here to work remotely or just to hang out and enjoy the coffee or tea options. I enjoy coming to hang out while my car is cleaned next door. Love the selection of coffee, pastries, salads and sandwiches.

Just tried this shrimp Che for the first time the other day, I been hooked ever since. The taste is consistent. I been working down the street from them for a while and I am upset that I am just being put on this place. They are my new favorite coffee spot.

This is a great coffee shop full of character and great vibes. The Nola-che are great snacks during a long study session. I would recommend it. White Mocha Frappe without whipped cream is my favorite
