We ordered fish in a wine sauce very dry my husband order seafood with pasta also very dry.

We came for "summer special" on a Friday night. The restaurant is hard to find, has inadequate signage. The room is very tired and unattractive. Three of our party of four ordered the Veal Milanese. The portions were tiny. The veal was thin, overcooked. The salad appetizer is very small and undistinguished. The waiter told us after our meal that the "summer special" portions are small, but no one told us that when we ordered. The manager comped one of our meals when we complained. Very unsatisfactory experience.

I love this Italian restaurant in Jupiter, a nice atmosphere with a full bar and extended wine selections. The menu is fantastic, plus great desserts, and there is a valet available.

The speed with which they brought the dishes is unacceptable. A meeting with a social purpose must have space between the dishes. A disaster. In 50 minutes we were already outside and angry

Always terrific. You can get noisy so pick table away from bar. Terrific food which is #1. Terrific sea food choices. Very consistent and very professional. We have been going for at least 20 years now. Very, very good!

This is a very good choice for a nice dining experience, good food, excellent service and an enjoyable ambience! Although we have lived in the area a long time, we had never been to Portobello's. We've now been twice in about 5 weeks! What I love: the service is wonderful, first class in attentiveness and efficiency. The menu is well-rounded, a bit of everything for everyone. The salads and bread are delicious. Salads are a bit plentiful and are easily shareable. Ask them to split in the kitchen. There may be a charge for this, I can't remember for sure. The desserts are delicious as well. I also appreciate the fact that people dress a bit better than "casual" to attend the restaurant. In South Florida everything is casual and casual is good! but sometimes you want to go out where perhaps shorts and a nice shirt aren't quite enough! This is NOT a "dress up" restaurant but people do dress a bit nicer than for most of our area restaurants. Another positive note is that this restaurant does not rush the diner. Both times we've been, our meal lasted just under 2 hours for 4 people. You have ample time to order a pre-dinner cocktail, peruse the menu, order, eat and leave! The courses come out well-timed, not rushed, not slow. My small words of criticism: Both of my meals (I've ordered the yellow tail snapper (fresh fish offering) prepared puttanesca style; and the chicken di Franco) were a bit on the salty side for my taste buds. Yellow tail snapper was very fresh and the chicken was nice and tender. Both plentiful in proportion. Both served with a side of sauteed spinach. No pasta (although I think that is a choice rather than the spinach.) The spinach is delicious! The restaurant is usually crowded, make a reservation, and be prepared for a bit of a high noise level. The tables aren't too close together but it is a fairly big room and it is a bit difficult to have a conversation without leaning into your table to be closer to your party! We will be returning because you cannot get better service or dinners for the prices, which are commensurate with the nicer restaurants in town but lack the ambience of Portobello's.

Fantastic Cuisine. Our Favorites are stuffed artichoke, Caesar salad, Garlic and oil pasta cooked to perfection and Veal Limone. Very Romantic atmosphere. Service is exceptional. One of our favorite restaurants. Definitely make reservations.

Veal Parmesan was bland. The dessert VESUVIO was disgusting. Big chunk of chocolate that makes your mount stick together. Last time here.

This place is always outstanding. The bread is worth the drive from Port St Lucie alone. The pear salad is my favorite salad there.

This is our go-to Italian restaurant. We are never disappointed, from the valet service to the bartenders, and dinner to dessert! Everything’s perfect. Wonderful experience every time!

Ordered Eggplant Rollatini which was just breaded ricotta cheese and no eggplant that I could see or taste. I noticed another reviewer had the same experience. Husband ordered Lobster Risotto which he found to be “nothing special “ and we shared a Caesar Salad which was pretty bland to us.

We’ve eaten Christmas dinner the last 10 years and it has always been excellent. Everyone was happy with their meal. We were a party of 7 ranging from 8 years old to 72. I love the food and the staff is great. Ciao

Fabulous dinner last night. Every piece of the meal, from the bread to the pasta to the Yellowfin, was perfect. One of the best meals I've had in years. Not cheap, but the quality is there. Only downside was the very noisy dining room. Recommended.

Upon my recent visit to Portobello Cucina Italiana, I was initially impressed by the thoughtful touch of complimentary valet parking and the warm reception from the young hostess. Opting for an outdoor dining experience, the culinary delights certainly met, if not exceeded, expectations with a delightful array of flavors. However, the overall dining experience took a downturn due to the service. There was an unfortunate undercurrent of unfriendly chatter among the waitstaff in Spanish, which was quite discernible. The assigned waiter seemed to be elusive, noticeably absent for the majority of our meal and neglectful in attending to our needs. It became necessary to seek assistance from other staff members. While I understand that it might have been a busy day, a higher level of attentiveness or, at the very least, an acknowledgment of the lapse in service would have been expected. Our waiter was present only at the beginning of our dinner, leaving us feeling somewhat neglected for the remainder of our visit. Despite the delectable cuisine, the overall experience was marred by this lack of consistent and attentive service.

Did take out here. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs for my kids. We ended up finding pine nuts in the meatballs. Wish there was a description on there since my kids do have nut allergies and pine nuts are not a typical ingredient I would expect in meatballs.

My husband and I were looking for an Italian restaurant in Jupiter and this was the first one that came up in my Google search. When we arrived I was a little bit hesitant as the restaurant was almost empty and it was dinner time. The hostess sat us outside on the patio, for most of our meal we were the only people out here. Our server was attentive, friendly and had a good knowledge of the menu. I was having a craving for chicken parmigiana and decided to give it a try. I am very picky on this dish, there are only a few places where I like it; however I decided to give it a try and wasn’t expecting anything special. My husband decided to order the salmon. My meal arrived and after one bite I was in love! This has got to be the best chicken parmigiana I have ever had. Ever! I have tried it at several restaurants and nothing comes close to this one. Sauce was full of flavor and the chicken was moist and tender. It has just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Too much and it gets soggy and not enough it can be too dry. This was just in the middle. Absolutely perfect! My mouth is watering just thinking and writing about it. My husband also thought his salmon was some of the best he ever had. After our meal we went inside for a drink, the restaurant was now packed. Not an empty seat available. I found the manager and told her how much we loved our meals. If we are ever back in the area this will be the first place I make a reservation.

Our dinner was superb. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff. I ordered a salad that came with the dinner and my friend had the lentil soup. Both were excellent. We ordered the veal marsella, and mashed potatoes with a sauce that had savory mushrooms. The veal was very tender and cooked perfectly. Delicious!!! It exceeded our expectations . Atmosphere and service was that of a 5 star restaurant .

I don’t even know if their food is any good I just didn’t feel like getting dressed up to go out for dinner but I do love Italian food so I called and believe me they are so rude on the phone. I told him that there are people skills are very bad And I hope their food is better than their demeanor on the phone. I just asked for spaghetti with meatballs and I said what comes with it and he said spaghetti and meatballs on my no sir does it come with bread? Does it come with the salad does it come with anything? Just curious because if not, I’d like to order them separately or comes with bread OK does it come with garlic bread or regular bread or what kind of bread it comes with bread if you want garlic bread that’s extra and you have to pay for it which I don’t mind paying for it but if I would’ve asked, does it come with regular bread or garlic bread? He wouldn’t have even brought it to my attention that they do have garlic bread. He just sounded annoyed that they had to take an order then I asked does it come with the salad? He ignored me I said you know what OK how much is the spaghetti with meatballs with the garlic bread? Oh I don’t know what do you mean you don’t know I have to put it in the computer I guess that’s too much to ask for them to do their job won’t be eating there. .I’ll

WOW, don’t need to say more this applies to the; food, service, location, the service was outstanding (new best friend Donald) the parking attendant was the best I have ever seen I can wait to see her again. The food was amazing in flavor and quality the portions large. The components were fresh, delicious and served quickly and hot. ******* seven stars to this WOW !

Italian every way you can think of - and some you can't. Everything's delicious. Vallet parking. Top that off with an Amarone on Chef Oscar's specials for $60. Bada bing! This round, they had soft shell crabs cookeed perfectly in a garlic butter sauce served over broccoli rabe. Not a hint of bitterness to the rabe (I wish I knew how they do that!). Had a half serving post- appetizer (top marks on the calamari frittj) before the chef special rack of lamb medium-rare Dijon coat with a cabernet demi-glaze. Now, for the five-star complaint - the wine list, as good as it is, could use a bit of breath and depth. A few more "interesting reds" (i.e., lesser known varietals) and a few more options at the higher end would make the selection process much more interesting. Kudos, as always, to the staff - kind, professional, attentive, and accommodating. We'll be back again

The food & service were great. It's a bit pricey but very good food. The parking situation isn't the best, most of the parking is valet. There's some self parking further down the shopping plaza. There is also some outdoor dining in the charming courtyard patio out front. We had the shrimp parm & the salmon, both were excellent 👌

This was my first visit here. I recently adopted an old dog and wanted to enjoy a dinner at a dog friendly establishment. I read that Portobello has an outside patio where dogs are welcome so that is where I went. The host and hostess were so nice to me and the manager set up a table on the patio for us. The waiter brought a bowl of water over without me having to ask. I then ordered a piece of grilled chicken for the dog and I ordered the salmon over spinach with a butter lemon sauce. It was absolutely delicious and Jameson agreed!

It's ok. I'd go elsewhere, given the option.

What a beautiful dinner we had at this restaurant. We tried the broccoli Rabe with sausage appetizer, and the burratta with prosciutto ,tomato and red pepper. Both yummy. 3 of us ordered Scarpiello delicious. 2 with veal, 1 with chicken on the bone. A hearty large portion (bite size) easy to eat. 1 had veal saltamboccaon a bed of spinach. All delicious. Wonderful crispy bread served with butter patts and baked garlic in oil. Spreadable for you're bread. They also havea lovely dessert menu, with espresso martini on the dessert side. Hot espresso, or hot tea. We ordered 1 slice of chocolate cake. Very decadent and moist accompanied by a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. They also carry black sambuca for you're espresso my husband was happy about that. Not alot of places carry it. The bottle of wine we shared was so delicious. A little pricey but who cares lol . We say Yolo! You only live once. Luis was our waiter .excellent excellent service through the entire dinner. Very knowledgeable about menu. Gave great suggestions. His wait staff team also excellent. Made for a very enjoyable evening. Hope to return very soon. Bon appetite.

Food was cold and rubbery, I handed my plate to the server while my party was still eating there dinner. I gave the server a opportunity to ask if there was anything wrong with my dinner. He never even asked just brought my plate to a dirty dishes cart. I had to ask my server why didn't he ask if there was something wrong with my dinner. (His response was I didn't realize nothing was wrong). The manager didnt even come by to visit our table.Will never recommend this place from my friend and family

I'm allergic to garlic so don't usually go to Italian restaurants. But they specifically made my meal without garlic. Wow! Delicious!

Really delicious. Having dinner here definitely reminded me of the authentic flavors of Italy. The sizes are a bit big, but it’s definitely worth it.

If you want good Italian food, or just a good meal, there’s no reason to come here. Had the carpaccio appetizer. There was some kind of sauce on the meat that completely overpowered the flavor of the beef. The halibut oregannata special, which should have been a little crispy, wasn’t even close. It was served over escarole and beans. I found it to be watery and tasteless. Everyone else’s dish was better than mine but none were better than mediocre. I would say this is better than McDonalds but not by much!

This was the second time I have been there . The service was great our food was delicious Cant wait to go back! U can tell this restaurant puts a great deal of effort into making your meal there special.

Had a group from work! Waiters were fabulous and attentive! Everyone loved their food except me! I don’t care what I am paying for food if it’s good but take the clams oregano off the menu! If all you are giving me is bread crumbs, it sure isn’t worth $14-18.00 The Flounder was fabulous but portion size on the fish was absurd for $30…I could have bought 3 lbs for $30 and I got 2 tiny pieces of fish!tThe lobster risotto main dish was another disappointment due to lack of actual lobster in the dish! Everyone else stuck to traditional dishes.. lasagna, raviolis and they were very happy! And the steak was great! Still giving a 4 out of 5 cause we still had a great night! You waiters saved the day!! We would come back again but probably only go with pasta dishes.

We were looking forward to going to Portobello for sometime to try something different from our usual haunt. When we arrived we were greeted by a pleasant hostess and shown to a great table. The restaurant itself is attractive but not over done. The waiter was quick to arrive with the menus and the specials, at which point he took our drink orders. He also returned quickly with our drink orders at which point we ordered dinner. That was the last quick response we got from the waiter. From then on we had to get his attention if we needed something, like our dinner. As for the food - the menu was pretty usual fair, nothing to exciting. Between the four us, we had salads (standard). Entrees included ravioli lobster, calamari, sausage with broccoli rabe, carbonara (this is my test meal at any new Italian restuarant). Out of the four, the sausage with broccoli rabe, which we had to ask for, was the best. The calamari was well cooked but bland, the ravioli had a hint of lobster, and my carbonara did not pass the test - to much cheese and very little bacon - it was sort of blobby. While we waited for our entrees we asked for some garlic to and a small dish of olive oil to dip our bread in. Shocker - the oil was rancid. A true first. We've had bad oil before but never rancid. The wine list while limited wasn't bad but the waiter brought a wine glass, which he filled, that had a huge lipstick smear. It took a while for us to get his attention to get this glass then we had to call him again to bring the new glass. The new glass came wineless, and we asked for him to bring the replacement wine, which took quite a while as he had to ask the manager (we were wondering, "Ask the manager what?") Anyway, the new glass with wine came pretty much as we were finishing our meals. As a way of apologizing the waiter offered a desert on the house - sabaglione. It was the high point of the meal. I would go again and order this with a coffee. The rest we didn't think warrants a return.

Had the veal 1 year ago. Thought it was pork. Thought I would try again. Just ordered calamari rings app. All tough, over cooked. Had the fruitti de mar. Had 1 shrimp, with 2 small scallops, tough calamari and a few mussels. Sauce was very thin. Left half. Too bad. Wifes ravioli was good. Maybe because it was Wednesday, but no reason to over cook calamari and my linguini was super al dente. Won't go back.

On Tuesday April 26th 22. I was there with friends for dinner. The food was great the service was great but when we left the service for getting our car was awful.

I am so disappointed at my evening at Portobello tonight when a group of 15 men sitting together get up at the same time and bullied their way in front of my group (one of whom is obviously disabled) at the valet stand. I complained to the girl who was in charge at the valet stand, and she barked at me that she'd "rather them than us". We then found out that this group was from Admirals Cove, and come every Tuesday night. That obnoxious valet girl lost Portobello our business permanently. One of the men apologized for his group's behavior. The valet girl told me that they were there first( a total lie). I have a real understanding of how Portobello caters to their wealthy privileged ADMIRALS COVE CLIENTELE. The food isn't worth the indignity. Go to Jettys or KEE Grill where you will have a great meal and be treated with respect.

Absolute top notch Italian food, one of my top local favorites

Ordered linguini carbonara. It comes with Fettucini here, but I asked to substitute to Linguini. Not sure what they gave me. Was very oily. Carbonara has no oil in it. It’s like they pulled the linguini from a vongole sauce which is on the menu and added it to a carbonara sauce. Service was great either at the bar. Nice atmosphere though and valet was very friendly and professional.

Quality of food and service was nowhere as good as other years. We were 3 couples and all very disappointed since we have eaten here for many, many years, and the noise was unbearable, we could not enjoy a conversation. That will be our last visit to Portobello especially with all the great restaurants in Jupiter and neighboring areas.

Service, atmosphere, and food were excellent.

The hostess seated us right by the bar which is right next to where everyone has to enter for indoor seating. And when folks start backing up in the bar they were literally pushing up against my wife’s chair. The area was just too crowded. Didn’t make her to comfortable. Our food was good although my wife and our friend had to return their ravioli because they were cold. Once the heated ravioli came back they enjoyed their meal. My veal was also cold but I didn’t return it as it was delicious. Our waiter was polite an tried to be attentive. But it took at least 3 requests for my wife to get a water refill. Our other friend asked 7 times for a second glass of water. It never arrived. That’s not right. No one should have to ask 7 times for anything. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our visit. I am sorry to say our friend may not agree.

We sat at the bar on a busy Saturday night. The bartenders took great care of everyone, even though they were very busy. The food was excellent. The artichoke appetizer was particularly memorable. The seafood risotto was also really tasty. The portions are massive and affordable. We will definitely be back.

Great experience. Bread and water kept filled. Good portions, presented hot and fresh. Chocolate souffle mis-namrd, should have been called constructed lava cake, but more accurate if you read fine print. Get the tiramisu instead.

Service excellent..I love sitting at the bar the people you meet are happy to be here like coming home. My wife and I enjoyed a first dining experience at Portobello last night. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. You could actually easily converse with people at your table. We were very fortunate to have had Wendy as our server. She was so professional and very friendly. If I owned a restaurant I would want her on my staff. My wife ordered the cheese ravioli and I had the grouper special, which was topped with crab. Both dinners were wonderful. We shared crème brûlée for dessert. We will definitely be back.

This is one of the better Italian food restaurants in Jupiter. Florida. The menu has many choices and the food is impeccable.

I have driven by this restaurant a million times when visiting ScubaWorks, did some research and decided to give it a try. Reservations were more than booked, so we went earlier than normal. Had great service from Edwin (NY Refugee), knowledgeable and attentive. Food selection was exceptional, calamari was different, but one of the best we have experienced. This will be worked into the vacation rotation.
