Portofino is not only a bistro- it is, by far, a magnificent FINE DINING EASTABLISHMENT- - gorgeous inside, perfect outside, with food beyond compare: EVERYTHING- from clams casino to zuppa de cozze, to escargot appetizers to incredible and uniquely flavored chicken scapariello and all the happy hour specials- and just all ! We tend to dine out very often- and must say this will be top of the list for repeat dinners! Love the owner, Marcelo, who goes out of his way to be so welcoming and accommodating, and our fabulous server, John, who knows the menu inside and out and is so thrilled to help in every possible way! WHAT A WINNER! Thank you so much for an outstanding experience !

The ambiance at Portofino is amazing! The decor is very lovely and cozy. I was greeted by the owner, Marcelo. I was welcomed like a family member. . The wine , Marcelo chose with the clam sauce was impeccable with the fresh garden salad and fresh herbs was out of this world. The demeanor of the staff was very friendly and the service was 10/10. I highly recommend Portofino to my friends and family members.

Seafood risotto was awful. All seafood over cooked. Rice was under. I was so looking forward to it. I will not order again.

This evening our family had a wonderful dinner at Portofino’s! I had the duck which was made to perfection and paired perfectly with the Portugal lager. My wife enjoyed the Milanese paired with a delicious Malbec. Our cousin raved about the salmon the entire way home. We look forward to going back and hope the rest of our family can join us the wonderful ambiance just as we did.

Loved every part of this! The service was amazing, the food is fresh always and the area is super quaint and lovely! Our server was Andrew. He was also super lovely and very accommodating. I will be returning over and over again.

This place must be your next destination in Juno! The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. The food was miraculous. And the ambiance was incredible. We were served by Andrew, and John, both of which come with my highest recommendations. They gave us a point in the right direction for just about each and every item we ordered. Everything came out in a timely manner and we will certainly be revisiting this establishment next time we come to Juno for holiday.

We have had a wonderful experience and dinner here many times so I decided to write the review . The service is fantastic. They will make almost anything you want off menu. The veal chop is great along with frutti DiMare over pasta. The clam vongole over spaghetti is great . I tried their Paella once and it was delicious. We will be returning again soon. Ralph C

The soups were delicious and fresh. I had chicken fra Diavlo the sauce was just right. My wife had the special which was swordfish which was delicious. We come here often this restaurant is a gem

We are frequent diners at this wonderful restaurant. Tonight we had the fresh pompano it was amazing! The owner marcello is super attentive and always greets us with a smile! The food never disappoints- always fresh and delicate and reasonably peiced. The dining room is beautifully decorated and just a pleasant place to eat. We highly recommend this establishment. You will definitely enjoy everything.! Make sure you visit!

Wow. Unassuming place in a strip mall. Go. Service is on point. Portions are nice. Wines are heavily poured & the prices fair. We had chicken Piccata, broccoli rabe & the featured beef ravioli ala vodka. We ate it all & mopped our plates with bread. Sauces were perfect. Pistachio gelato was absolutely to die for. Limoncello was cold & tart. Espresso fresh & hot. Absolutely go. Absolutely will be back.

Amazing place for Mediterranean food! The service was top notch- never intrusive but always there when you needed something. The atmosphere is relaxed and refined but also family friendly. We never felt rushed and the food was amazing! We had chicken parm, fillet of sole, the fish special ( branzino), cheese raviolli,clams casino, flan, and creme Brule- all fantastic!! The portions are more than generous and just beautiful to look at when they are served. It's fine dining quality in a friendly relaxed environment with ( to me) very reasonable prices. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Twenty minutes to order a drink, an hour to order food. We were given a basket of 4 pieces of bread for eight people! Totally ignored all night. By the time we got out of there, we had been there for three hours!!! Never again!

Fantastic service from the moment we walked in. We were given the table of our choosing which I always appreciate at establishments. They maître d (owner) greeting me by my first name and was incredibly gracious and kind. He recommended a great wine to start and also gave us a run down of all of the specials. Overall, this was a great experience and hidden gem in Juno Beach. Service was top-notch. I will definitely come back for dinner. Highly recommend!

The owner and staff are extremely friendly and on top of their game. We’ve been there numerous times over the last few year with groups of 2, 4, and up to 14 and enjoyed every trip. The food has always been exceptional and professionally served. If you haven’t been there yet you are missing out.

Phone did not eat first here, the food looked too good to wait! We started with the best seafood salad I’ve ever had, everything tasted so fresh. I had the lobster ravioli and my guests had the special of the night (which I had a bite of also) and the veal. We then capped the night off with three desserts that I’m still dreaming about. The service was incredible. Everyone there is so kind, and there was not a moment that I was not laughing and having a great time. I highly recommend for your next dinner!

An incredible experience with a charming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a quiet dinner. The bronzino is a delicious dish accompanied by a tartufo, a perfect dessert for a delicious meal.

I loved the restaurant, it offers a unique experience, from the moment I entered I was greeted with a warm welcome. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, I personally recommend the paella, it is a delight, mixed with various seafood it is a perfect dish to share with friends and family while enjoying an unforgettable experience and not to mention the desserts are delicious. The service is excellent, with attentive staff who are always happy to offer recommendations and ensure that each customer has a memorable experience. In addition, the atmosphere is cozy and elegant, ideal for both romantic dinners and family gatherings.

Hidden gem (following all CDC guideline) This cozy (family owned) restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, nice wine list, wonderful dessert and reasonable prices. The white linen covered tables add an extra flair to the whole experience! The staff goes out of their way to accommodate any request you have. I recommend it to everyone! I keep to going back again and again and not once have been disappointed. Here are the dishes we tried so far: Appetizers: Chorizo Español - a good size (for one), mouth watering spanish sausage with Mediterranean beans and a tasty broth (not spicy) $11,95 Calamari Alla Romana - a real "appetizer size" for one, sautée tender calamari with a delicious white wine broth. $12,95 Pulpo Alla Prancha - my husband had that and said it was one of the best grilled octopus he had in awhile. $15,95 Broccoli Di Rabe e Salcicci - this is a big portion of grilled sweet italian sausage over broccoli rabe, and my friend had it as her main course. She said it was delicious! $12,95 Main Course: Filetto Di Sogliola Al Francese - one of the best filet of sole I had around here! Served with spinach or any other side they have available (just ask). $24,95 Paella Valenciana - this is a dish to be shared! It says for two but we had three people and no one left hungry! The twist here is the dish is made with Arborio rice instead of the "traditional spanish" yellow rice. It was very good and loaded with lobster tail, clams, shrimp and more. $55,95 Veal (anything/anyway) - try it milanese, parmigiana, Barcelona - like we did, and you will enjoy the tender and flavorful dishes! $25,95 Last but not least, make sure you split a dessert or two! The flan espanhol is a must and so is the pistachio tartufo. Once you are there, say hello to the owner, Marcello and also to his son (also Marcello). Enjoy!

Waiter was inattentive and ignored us. When we questioned him he told my husband to relax. Very rarely checked in. Last 45 minutes he passed us off to the “coffee and dessert boy.” Food was good.

Arrived at 6:30pm left at 10:30 pm terrible service took over 2 hours to get our food. At checkout one mistake after another. Multiple wrong credit card charges finely got out of there after 10:30pm. I am never going back there.

This is an outstanding little gem of a restaurant tucked away in Juno Beach. Great atmosphere, wonderful service and truly outstanding food. If you like paella you will love theirs. Very authentic and the seafood is super fresh. Also, white anchovies for the caesar salad. Perfection.

We had dinner here while in town on vacation. We saw all the great reviews and decided we would try it as we almost solely frequent Italian restaurants for dinner. It is the off season so as expected, there were only a few people present. We ordered the burrata as this is a favorite appetizer of ours. We were very disappointed as it was either not prepared well or wasn't fresh. When you cut open burrata, the cheese should flow out from the center. This burrata was not liquid at all and just seemed improperly prepared. Next, we ordered the veal saltimbocca which I thought was average. We also ordered a ravioli dish and was very disappointed once again as the ravioli seemed like it was thrown into the microwave as the inside was scorching hot but the outside was only like warm. The 2 staff that waited on us were not very good and it was hard to understand them as they didn't speak good English. It seems like this restaurant is really doing a disservice to their name. Hopefully this is a one-off occurrence.

Delicious. Attentive and professional service. Fashionably elegant. There is nothing nicer than going to a place for the first time and it blows away your expectations. We were meeting up with friends and Portofino Bistro Mediterraneo was exactly in the middle for both couples. Upon arrival you feel comfortable even before you open the door, seeing the outside cafe tables reminiscent of Europe. We were greeted at the as if we had been there a million times for they seemed to already know who we were as we were ushered to our table. The lighting was beautiful, the bar enticing and the table settings with cloth tops inviting. But what was most noticeable was the aroma of fine cooking-- we were salivating before we even sat down. The prices are very reasonable and the selection of wines, terrific-- I had a very nice French Pinot Noir. I'll just say this, we kept ordering appetizers, entrees, desserts and after dinner coffees just to stay there. When you walk away from a restaurant already planning to come back, well, that says it all. I'm looking forward to Paella Valenciana next time. For appetizers we ordered two of the night's specials: burrata and stuffed peppers with shrimp and they were both so delicious we could have had those all night long. I had the Barcelona Veal (chicken is an option) with Spanish sausage, mushrooms in a red wine reduction. My wife and friend ordered the flounder and loved it. Our other friend had the salmon and raved about it. For dessert we four shared a Sorbeto, which turned out to be a jousting match it was so good.... We were here in late July-- which is so great to be a Florida Local-- no reservations needed. I would imagine you need reservations long in advance during the height of the season. And rightfully so. UPDATE: This was our second visit to Portofino, and it exceeded our already high expectations. Among the numerous restaurants spanning from Palm Beach to the Treasure Coast, Portofino holds a special place. It might be attributed to the owners and staff, who exude graciousness, friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism. Perhaps it's the ambient lighting, which I'd describe as a photographer's dream, or the linen tablecloths, napkins, and top-notch cutlery that add to the overall experience. What I can affirm is that Portofino stands out as a true gem in the realm of Italian cuisine. Our party of four started with beautifully presented and incredibly flavorful salads, perfectly portioned and seasoned. For our main courses, we selected the Rigatoni alla Bolognese, Barcelona Chicken, Chicken Maiale alla Griglia Scarpariello, and Risotto De Mare. To say that our table fell silent during dinner would be an understatement – the dishes were simply that delightful. We shared many smiles and even some laughter over this exceptional meal. In fact, we were so impressed that we made reservations a month in advance to return once again.

We had the pre fixed menu and boquerones. For the prefixed menu we ordered the frutti de mare for main course. Cesar salad for app. Excellent food! We tried margarita and sangria , also excellent. You can't go wrong in this place. We will definitely be back.

While the food at Portofino Restaurant was only so-so during my recent visit, it's still a good spot to hang out and grab a drink. Unfortunately, my husband's pasta was served cold which was a letdown. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and welcoming, making it a good place to relax and socialize with friends. If you're not too concerned about the food and are looking for a spot to grab a drink and hang out, then Portofino Restaurant might be worth a visit.

Four for dinner…..four different dishes … all excellent and a Malbec from France…the wait was well worth it for a meal made from scratch…

The food was very good . The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. Our waiter seemed to be spread a little thin as he was somewhat slow in getting back to us. Didn’t seem to be his fault. However, it is very, very noisy in this restaurant. To the point that the noise level was uncomfortable. We will go back because the food was so good but only if we can sit outside. BTW, save room for dessert. Amazing.

Great meal at a very busy and lively Portofino on a Friday night! Love the mix of Spanish/Italian dishes on menu. Host was gracious as always and service was great - had veal Barcelona which was superb and my wife had linguine with clams - also very good. Great wine list and just a fun evening as place was very boisterous! Will be back!

Great food. Spent New Year’s Eve at this restaurant and the food was great. The gambas and the octopus made you feel you were in Spain! Reasonable prices and an ample menu. They have some tables outside so they are pet friendly. Will definitely go back.

Wonderful restaurant with delicious food and great service. Don't let the strip mall deter you. This place has white tablecloths, an elegantly understated and relaxed ambience. It is totally unpretentious and friendly. Washrooms are also very clean. I think we will be visiting this local spot regularly.

veal picotta was delicious, as were all the pasta dishes! They stream a beautiful video of walking through Portofino Italy, which can is reminiscent for those who have been there. Service was excellent. Classy set up, can not wait to go again.

Cute little diner with the friendliest owner & staff. We had a great time and were taken care of so well! Large selection of delicious Italian meals, amazing dessert menu, and awesome wine list. I had a fish entree and creme Brule dessert and everything was amazingly flavorful, large portion sizes, and great prices. Can't put a price on excellent customer service, and they certainly deliver on that too! Check them out, you will enjoy the experience!

Have to say, this place is as good as any italian around and I've lived here since 1991. Pastas are excellent and chicken, veal and fish entrees are also recommended. Father runs the front, sons in the kitchen and wives keep it all together on the floor. Been there 2x this summer as I'd never been here before and it's now going to be in our regular rotation. The Poker boys say Hi!

Our new favorite restaurant! Everything we had was beyond delicious and fresh. Homemade pasta, and the sauce was exquisite. Lovely owners that truly care about your experience. We will be back (often!) and will bring friends! So many things we want to try. As a side note, my husband has to eat gluten free and not only were they accommodating, the gluten free pasta was the best we’ve found!

We had a great dinner at Portofino Bistro. The atmosphere is very subdued and the food was excellent. The service is great. They make sure you are tended to without constantly interrupting your meal and conversation.

Went to Portofino last night for dinner, this little gem is absolutely fantastic, there were 3 of us and we were all thrilled with everything from the wine to the desserts. Pasta, veal, fabulous apps, all of it was incredible. This is a family from the south of Spain that really has it together. Service, quality & price, all surprising great. Give it a try, u won’t be disappointed!

The staff are very pleasant and professional. Our meal came out quickly and I must admit DELICIOUS! Please try the white sangria. It's great for our South Florida summers. I will definitely come back for the paella next time.

This is an immaculate white tablecloth cafe in a small strip mall on Juno Beach. I was welcomed immediately when I came in and I sat at the bar for happy hour. The tapas were delicious in the wine selection was ample. They have an open kitchen that is spotless and everyone is very friendly and ready to please. Hopefully they will be there for a while because I plan on coming back regularly.

Good fresh food the way you probably had it prepared at home or at restaurants back in NY or NJ, Connecticut, etc. Take a break and enjoy this delicious food with your loved one, your date or with friends. Prices are comparable with other bistros in the area. Staff friendly. We go shopping in that plaza often and love to see people taking on the great weather and eating outside. Seems pretty slow in afternoons and early on weekends and we've heard the pizza is really good and need to try it and review the next time we're in.

A warm wonderful experience for a superb dinner. Food was prepared perfectly, came to the table piping hot, well seasoned and delicious. The host Marcello takes great care of everyone. We have returned 3 times in two weeks. A special treasure.
