Excellent lunch food and service, highly recommended.

Would give a 5/5 but unfortunately the steak was very underwhelming. Although management made it right without me even saying anything so that was appreciated. The cabbage casserole and hamburger were absolutely amazing though! The atmosphere was nice and down to earth. Casual attire and affordable prices.

Great food all around - their Prime Burger is easily the best in town. Excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to unwind with a drink as well if you're so inclined.

This restaurant is a surprise success. The pork rinds delivered to table are delicious. I’ve eaten here 4 times now. Today was my first try with brunch. They have bottomless mimosas! The breakfast puff was good but not a repeat for me. The burger is one of my favorite in town! The pork and beef mix gives a flavorful. The prime special po boy is a take of Darrell’s special. Bread is more traditional firm French loaf. The over all take is less messy than Darrell’s but same flavor minus bread. The best service! Food is always timely. I have even eaten here with a group of 16! Every time I’ve been here I’ve had no complaints.

By far the best food we've had in the last 4 years of being in Louisiana. If you get a chance to ear here, do so. You will not be disappointed. The Nachos were amazing and so was the smoked sausage po-boy!

First visit and it was pretty good. I was most impressed when I asked for lemonade and the bartender Riley custom made me a glass of fresh lemonade!!

Thanks to previous reviews, I knew exactly who Heather was and I was fortunate enough to have her as my waitress. She is very knowledgeable of the menu and super friendly. I mean she treated us so good we didn't want to leave. The food was so good that we ended up ordering a bunch to go so my mom could try it. My son is a very picky eater but he tore his food up. My mom said that the fried shrimp and catfish were the best she's had. We ordered the Ribeye, prime burger, fried shrimp, fried shrimp and catfish, bread pudding, pork rinds and everything was amazing!!! Both the food and the service here is top notch! I will be visiting each time I drive down from Houston. I've told everyone I know how wonderful this place is! Thank y'all for having us! See you soon!

Best Ribye you can get! Topped the steak with a little crawfish etouffe! Great service quality food! The Prime burger is the best in Lake Charles!! Update- we have continued to eat here at least once a week, never been disappointed, and the quality service and food has remained consistently perfect!! We will continue to enjoy Prime! Always a good decision to dine at Prime!

Excellent food and customer service!

We stopped in Lake Charles for one night during our 23 hr drive home. Have you read the prior reviews? Because I’m saying the same thing they are. Impeccable service! (shout out to Heather) And the personal service by all of the staff, including the owner, who stopped to check on us on a few occasions. It’s true that the Ribeye is top notch with unmatched flavor and cooked perfectly to our request. My hamburger steak was so so good with the best homemade gravy with mushrooms. And you must try the house Margaritas. All flavors we tried were very tasty. The bread pudding was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. This is a local and very welcoming restaurant that you really have to experience for yourself. Don’t expect fancy unless you’re talking about their steaks!

Working in Lake Charles the past year and this has been hands down our favorite brunch spot.(bottomless mimosas!!!) I even took one of our executives there to try the bread pudding. All the food is amazing and Heather is the most awesome person we met in all of the south!!! If you are traveling through SWLA….this is a must spot to stop and enjoy!!!!!!

The Prime Specialty Poboy was the correct choice for the night, jalapeño mayo, fresh light crisp bun. As I was biting through the sandwich, my mouth was trying to figure out all the flavors, of the 3 meats and cheeses,when it detected the jalapeño mayo , the party was on. I will return.

I occasionally treat myself to a steak meal when I have a few extra nickels. One of the most delicate, tasty, and flawlessly cooked steaks I've ever had, by far. During my visit, I've eaten a few steak meals in the Lake Charles area.I have to admit that I don't believe Louisiana has a better steak than this one.

Excellent food and service. Although it's a little noisy, the menu includes everything from salads and steaks to sandwiches and poboys. There, everything I've eaten has been excellent.

Great plate lunches! Love the pork rind appetizers ! Super friendly staff! Large portions on daily specials. Great seafood on Friday! Great prime burger combo. Love the special sweet potato fries!

Every so often when I find a couple extra nickels in my pocket, I’ll have myself a steak dinner. This is by far one of the best steaks I’ve ever had cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. I’ve had a few steak dinners around Lake Charles during my stay and.I have to say I don’t think you’ll find a better steak in the state of Louisiana

Salt and chaos seemed to be the call of the night. Noisy, busy, over salted food, and loud political tv blaring. All the charm of fast food at the price of white linen restaurant.

Absolutely amazing, the top shelf margarita and the food is amazing, not to mention they give you pork rinds in lieu of the usual popcorn or nuts while you drink. Sit at the bar and let Raleigh take care of you, he is an amazing bartender. Not well known to the hotels and their staff, we had to look it up and follow the map but I will gladly go back whenever I am back in town!

Ok food, sub par service, high prices for what is essentially a lunch type burger joint

My weekly spot. My husband and I try to go every week sometimes it's 2to 3 times a week. Love the workers and the food is the best. The atmosphere is just so welcome everyone is just so sweet. Our favorite spot.
