We love Prime Fish! The food is outstanding and portions are huge. Really good quality and very fresh. It’s expensive but worth it.

We came here for dinner on our 1st night in Miami. The service was great & the food was amazing. We had a bottle of wine & 4 main dishes of seafood & steak. The restaurant has a great ambience but is very expensive .

We love having dinner here, the food is reasonably priced and delicious. It is also one of our favorite brunch spots as well!

Jennifer was a wonderful server and always anticipated what we needed. It was my birthday and loved all the options in the delicious buffet

Had the fish and chips, but the bread and Tuna were AMAZING!!!

Arrived at 6:30, two other tables occupied. Waited 20 minutes for a $29 martini. Was given bread and a small fish dip for four people. Waited another half hour for waitress to return. Ask for more fish, dip, and waited another 20 minutes for that. finally received small portion of greasy calamari and overdressed Caesar salad. After an hour and 45 minutes asked for a manager. Took her 10 minutes to get us main courses. No apologies whatsoever. Service was horrible. Dover soul was excellent , but was not worth waiting almost 2 hours for. No wonder this place is always empty. No management.

As always an excellent meal with superb service. Thank you for giving us a table under the tree as we had requested. Still one of the best restaurants in South Beach!

What a special place - the food and service at Prime Fish is top notch. The tuna, black grouper imperial, and sea bass are some of the best entrees we've ever had. Make sure to try the char-grilled octopus as a starter - incredible. Hugo our server was delightful! So kind, energetic, knowledgable - really went above and beyond to make our experience great. Thank you Prime Fish!

Prime Fish is a fantastic dining experience. The starters, entrees, sides, and wine selections were excellent. Try the chef’s preparation. It will not disappoint. The our dining space is a beautiful tree covered area. It’s like dining in a European garden.

charming atmosphere; lovely outdoor seating area, excellent food! Make sure to share sides, they’re enormous, big enough to share between two, three, four! Food is wonderful and the waiter was delightful! Expensive, but worth it if you can splurge, or aren’t budget conscious.

This is one of our all time favorite spots. It never disappoints. The staff is exceptional. Food is always perfect!!!

The food was amazing the only issue was when you pay with credit card the waiter stands over your shoulder making it uncomfortable when you choose your tip options. They should leave the little machine and take a minute so you can add the tip you’re comfortable with. With my waitress standing over me I felt I needed to add much more than 20% so I added 30% to seem cheap. The meal was amazing , I recommend sitting outside truly incredible. But please consider changing your process of the credit card process!!!

The red snapper special was delicious as were the potatoes and Cole slaw it came with. Waiter was delightful and helpful

Wayyy over priced for such mediocre meal. When a restaurant with such prices messes up basic dishes the really need to rethink their cooking. Lobster bisque was very starchy, the lobster chunks undercooked. French fries were cut in a messy way. The fish was as plain as it gets, tuna wasn’t fresh at all. Service was way rushed. In conclusion: avoid at all costs.

I had the seabass (again) and maintain this is the best seabass I ever ever eaten. The reason I gave 4 stars is that the side I ordered, Brussels sprouts, was over dressed with balsamic vinegar.

I enjoyed every minute of the brunch buffet. The kale salad, the rigatoni,the croissant breakfast sandwich, the watermelon salad were top notch. The servers were impeccable. Not one second that my glass was empty. Bottomless mimosas non-stop and they were very attentive. The ambiance was delightful. Will definitely come back

The last time we ate at Prime Fish we had an amazing experience… this time not so much. The outdoor dining is lovely and the service was mostly attentive - until we got all our food.. The problem? The Food was so so. My entree was good but barely hot (did not mention that to the waiter). More importantly, one of the vegetables we ordered had a sour taste (we did not eat it) and when we pointed that out to the waiter when he finally came back he made some excuse but did not take it off the bill. Waiter was also pushing a 22% tip.. they have those hand held credit card machine that was prefilled and they stand there while you complete the transaction. Based on the overcharge and the fact he didn’t come back til we were mostly finished I didn’t feel the service warranted the higher tip. Sad.. the bill was high with all we ordered but to be that pushy with a subpar low cost item. Many excellent options in Miami Beach… I don’t see coming back to this one.

Went here for Valentine’s Day dinner. Glad we made reservations, but we were still seated at our table over 30 minutes after the reservation. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed in the beginning and was very abrasive, but ended up warming up throughout dinner. Didn’t hold it against him as our food came out correct and it was good. Ordered baked oysters, cocktails, steak and fish. The red velvet cake for dessert. It was a nice experience and the food was delicious.

First time here. It was lovely. It was a Thursday evening. Quite honestly everything was delicious.our server was terrific.

Everything was lovely. My Son and I took my wife to brunch for her bday. We’re a huge brunch family and we’ve been bunching all up and down this panhandle for a few years now and Prime is PRIME!!! In fact we’ve decide to put Prime on our 1x month rotation!!! Great Spot! Everyone nice and polite. Bathrooms clean.

While the food is very good, it’s loud and crowded. Servers were banging into the back our chairs all dinner long. Our server played disappearing acts so much that I had to get up out my seat and track her down to pour our wine as we were eating. My steak was served without the peppercorn sauce I’d ordered as a side. I had to ask for it twice that’s when you could get wait staff. Our seafood and steaks plus sides were very good. The rest of our experience was not worth the effort. There are other similar restaurants that have far better service and the same food selection. This was our third time at Prime Fish, party of 5 people and we live on Miami Beach. Will not go back again. Tourist trap.

Was in miami celebrating 🍾 my wife Bday and the atmosphere was brilliant at prime fish. The staff was on point. But let me get to it. The Seabass and the lobster lasagna was to die for! It's a must try!

The complimentary bread and smoked fish to start are consistently delicious. The sea bass is excellent. The portions are plentiful. Oysters are extremely fresh and delicious. Great wine list, dessert menu and service. Prime Fish continues to be a reliable go to.

Server was limited, non existance

Prime fish was always our go-to date night meal. But the last three times, they've failed. Badly. The food was downright mediocre. Not prepared correctly, and just not of Prime Fish quality. It's tough to drop $450 for a couple on a meal and not walk about super happy. We want on Valentines day, and it was super packed. The kitchen was not prepared for that type of crowd. The steak was undercooked. The swordfish was overcooked. The mashed potatoes were cold. The Deep fried Oreos didn't have chocolate sauce. The white wine was warm. The server was amazing. I've never seen anyone work so hard. He was FLYING. Trying to handle all those tables. We made sure he was tipped handsomely as none of this was his fault. But even the two times before, it's just mediocre. Date night has to move somewhere else.

The Halibut with shrimp hash browns was excellent. The swordfish with egg on top was also excellent. And what can i say about the lobster bisque - exquisite and enough for 2 people.

We make prime fish an annual Valentine’s Day tradition because they do such a great job in terms of quality of food and service The shrimp cocktail and banana split make it a great start and a great ending

Everything about my brunch was A1 top notch. Friendly attentive service and a layout of geat gourmet food and drinks. Very impressive. It's on the high end so it should be but I really enjoyed it.

I paid a premium and got every penny's worth. The atmosphere, service, and most importantly, the food were exceptional. I had the Chilean sea bass which was phenomenal! It's definitely a place to go for a special occasion or to impress your guest. I would absolutely recommend it to family and friends

A delicious dinner at Prime Fish with very attentive service from Kevin - clearly a seasoned hospitality professional. The oysters, especially their take on Rockefeller, King crab leg and the crab lasagne were all historic. A lovely spot.

We came for fish and the halibut and swordfish were outstanding. The ambience was great and John our server was a very friendly and professional waiter- a great experience!

I held off reviewing this place because of my family who come here. But our family diner was a disaster. The worst was the big lobster we ordered for 245 dollars, came out uncrack, cooked not as asked or explained wrong filling..it . was returned. It came out 2nd time just about after everyone one else was done, but they turned it into rubber and like chewing Jerky The filling of crab and scallops was mostly bread. Had to ask for serving spoons, water, the waitress was not helped by her back up staff. Definitely not worth the cost of diner. On top of that 25 bucks to valet park when we spend North of a grand. They should apologize. I was embarrassed for my kids and sister.

What a great restaurant! Outdoor ambience was beautiful. Food was perfect. We shared the red snapper and had chocolate Dipped key Lime pie! Our waiter Kevin was better than perfect! Great night out. Highly recommend!

Excellent food quality and we loved the ambiance which is very intimate. we wished our server didn't have such attitude. he seemed bothered when we asked how the branzino was served. we opted for Swordfish and tuna, and they were both excellent. At the end the server softened his tone, but he sounded very fake. we paid his 22% suggested tip, but he didn't deserve it. When you are relaxing during vacation you let go and try to stay in a good mood and enjoy your time, which we did.

Had a wonderful dinner at Prime Fish last night. The oysters were fresh. The miso sea bass may have been one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. My husband loved the sole meuniere. Above all, the service was wonderful. Our waiter Hugo was a delight. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I would go back just for the wonderful experience he provided. I’ve dined at the four Prime restaurants in South Beach (if you include Big Pink) and this is my favorite.

This was our first time going to Prime Fish and it was the best decision I could have made for my husband’s 41st birthday! We ordered the Miso Sea Bass and the Blackened Branzino. The food was outstanding to say the least! Our server Hugo was the cherry on top. Very attentive and informative. Will definitely be coming back!

It's one of the best place to eat fish. It's not cheap.... They know how to cook and serve .

We dine there regularly and often have the 3 1/2lb fish special that is enough to share with 4 people. The fish is always fresh and well prepared. The waitstaff is very good and helpful. They raised their corkage fee to $65 last year which is the highest on the beach and with their limited wine list of mid priced wines, it’s not been a welcome change.

This was my wife and I first time at the restaurant and it was truly amazing the food was outstanding. My wife had the Alaskan king crab lasagna she said it was 10/10 and I had the barbecue bacon wrapped jumbo gulf shrimp listen I only had 4 I could have had 8 lol. All in all you in Miami and want some great seafood with other options this is the place to go.

Great and cordial service. The dishes are big, if you are not too hungry you might want to share. I highly recommend the Chilean seabass and the lobster bisque. The atmosphere is romantic, chic and casual upscale. Valet parking available. Also, crossing the street there is a $20 self parking.

Our waiter from Bari and his entire team were excellent. Additionally he knows that pouring you a little wine from your bottle throughout your mail vs trying to push multiple bottles was well noticed and appreciated. Great experience

This is by far the best restaurant in Miami. Managed to get a table early around New Years Eve. Staff is incredible. Very knowledgeable about the menu. Portions are huge. The food was amazing. It is very pricey but will not disappoint. Great place for a romantic evening.

We reserved a table but had to wait 30 minutes before being seated. Staff is not welcoming and always seems terribly busy. Other than that, the food is delicious and the ambience, although quite noisy, is vibrant.

Our family of 11 loved our dinner here. While expensive, they served the best food we had in South Beach. Each salad, meal and drink was excellent and all raved. Dessert cakes are large and fine but the bread pudding shined. Blackened bronzino is highly recommended. Tuna was also a hit

Prime Fish - A Deceptive Experience I recently dined at Prime Fish and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we walked in, we were met with judgmental stares from the host and wait staff, making us feel like obvious tourists. However, the real disappointment came when our waiter misled us with false information and provided us with a subpar dining experience. Upon perusing the menu, the waiter suggested the 1.5 lb stuffed lobster, only to later mention a 4.5 lb option. When I inquired about the price, he stated that the 4.5 lb lobster would cost $225.00. Realizing it was excessive for two people, I promptly declined and opted for the 1.5 lb stuffed lobster. I reiterated my choice, emphasizing the smaller size. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a deceptive encounter. To our surprise, the waiter brought us a platter filled with an overwhelming amount of food. The taste was lackluster, with the dominant flavors being seafood, bread crumbs, and butter. It seemed as though the dish was a hodgepodge of leftover ingredients, hastily mixed with bread crumbs, drowned in butter, and stuffed into a lobster shell. Disappointingly, there was a meager amount of actual lobster meat, instead consisting mostly of chopped up shrimp, squid, and scallop pieces. Adding insult to injury, we discovered shells in almost every bite, further diminishing the overall dining experience. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to find that we had been charged for the 4.5 lb stuffed lobster instead of the 1.5 lb option we had initially agreed upon. To make matters worse, the waiter denied ever mentioning the existence of a 1.5 lb lobster, leaving us feeling deceived and cheated. This deceptive behavior from the waiter, combined with the underwhelming taste and presentation of the dish, left a sour taste in our mouths. It is disheartening to experience such unscrupulous practices in a supposedly reputable establishment. I would caution future diners to be wary of the misleading tactics employed by the staff at Prime Fish. It is unfortunate that an establishment with potential fails to deliver an honest and enjoyable dining experience.

We were recommended this restaurant and were absolutely stunned by its selection and quality of fish and seafood. We consider this one of the best fish restsurants we have ever been to! The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and extremely delicious. We recommend the grilled tuna steak or the salmon. Also the service was very professional and friendly. We felt very relaxed there. Five stars and we will definitely come back!

Used to be a great alternative to prime Italian…. But this last visit fell short. The waitstaff fails to inform of the enormous portions…so u end up over ordering. The food was mediocre and high prices.

All the servers and bartenders I interacted with were amazing. The food on the other hand is much to be desired. My food was cold and lacked presentation. The Branzino and Seabass lacked flavor. All the food and drinks are overpriced. I have had better tasting fish dishes at a major chain seafood restaurant.
