The atmosphere was great. We went on a Thursday and there was a live singer, who was phenomenal and made up for the waitress and the greeter's rudeness. The food was not good. I did not like it at all. Worse Birria I have ever had. The elotes looked good, although I personally did not try them. They give you tiny plastic disposable cups for water. It felt cheap and offensive to be at a restaurant and have tiny disposable cups. The waitress would have an attitude and rudely asked for the order as if we were bothering her. She prioritized getting her job done over the experience. She would make rude faces. I would never go back. The worse part is that they made each of our guest take out our phones and they took our phones one by one and entered 5 stars and their name in the comment. How rude. You dont treat us right and you give yourself a 5 star on my device. So i came back to tell the truth. Definitely I will not return.

Wanted to take my husband to what I thought would become his new favorite Mexican restaurant. It’s close to home, the walls are nicely painted, and over all decorations give off a good vibe. Unfortunately, our experience turned sour the minute we were seated and our waitress came to us. She was simply not friendly at all! Once she took our order, someone else brought it out and she, NOT ONCE, came back to ask or offer if we might want or need anything else. We asked for the Tostadas and Flautas, both were tasty but a bit messy to eat. We had to call her and ask for extra napkins and if she could please refill our water. She not only seemed displeased but took so long to return that I had time to get up and go wash my hands in the bathroom. With about 4 waitresses standing around, since place was rather empty at this time, I will add that the bathroom was dirty, trashcan outside overflowing. I might have overlooked that if it hadn’t been for the terrible service. My friends, family, and I love visiting local businesses but it’ll be a while before we either return much less recommend this Mexican restaurant. Our business will be going to a couple other local West Kendall Mexican restaurants where the costumer service makes EVERY BITE of food taste better.

Never came back to table Server was not friendly at alll, 18% service charge already included in bill so I guess she didn’t care. Servers were distracted just talking to each other.

Tatiana our server was great!! Birria tacos were really good. $5 Margaritas can’t beat that price. Ended with an espresso martini that was fantastic.

Dayme was a great server, service was fantastic and the food was delicious!

Queso fundido was topped with burnt dogfood, not chorizo. The cheese was shifting from molted to solid and it was starting to return to a curd state. Re-re-reheated beans and rice. Stale chips. Old, though, reheated, chewy meat. Salsa verde about to turn sour, chimichangas tasted like burnt peanut butter and even though they’re deep friend the grease made it soggy. Why a place like this has such a high rating is beyond me. The health violations in that kitchen must be off the charts.

I expected more from the food, the quesabirrias lack a little more flavor to the meat and more color to differentiate that it is barbecue, the waitress's attention is very attentive and the place is cozy.

Food was delicious! Margaritas tasted great! It was Taco Tuesday and full of customers so it was difficult to hear to waitress. Place was clean and beautifully decorated.

A constructive criticism, I ordered some tortillas with roast beef, the dry overstitched meat seemed overheated, I could only eat half a tortilla, the plate comes with two, the corn was cold. Sorry I spent $70, I didn't like it at all! I only liked the margarita 😊

One menu item, the Al Pastor taco, which is really more of a bbq pork taco, is an absolute knockout. Unfortunately the birria tacos are a miss, the steak tacos are dry and under seasoned, the steak quesadilla is also miss. The shrimp taco is plain not good. Very high highs, extremely low lows.

Update: Had a great time at my favorite restaurant. This time Tatiana was our server. She was kind and on top of our food order and drinks. As always, the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We had the loaded nachos with carne, the tostones with al pastor, of course the Bulldog with Maracuya drink! Yumm! Will be back soon. ;) This is one of my favorite places on a Friday afternoon or evening. The live music is phenomenal, my favorite drink: the maracuya bulldog is scrumptious (2 for one special every day), the nachos, the al pastor tacos, the tostones are heavenly. Now let’s talk service, one of my faves is specially Daniela, always kind and on top of all your needs before you even ask. The best place for tacos and a great time!!!!

I’m a fan of Mexican food. Found this place by searching online and I was captured by the pictures. I went for lunch on a Sunday, and The ambient is really nice. The place looks very cozy and colorful. The service was great. I got served by Sophia. Very attentive, she gave us really good suggestions what to order, and we were not disappointed. She never let us waiting, always on time asking if we needed something. She definitely made us enjoy the place. Food tasted delicious, we started with chips and guacamole, and it was fresh made. I ordered the Tacos “la gringa” excellent choice! We are definitely coming back ☺️🥰🌮
