Very Delicious entrees and Very Clean Environment and Atmosphere! Friendly customer service....

I had the beef and jollof rice with plantain it was very delicious

This is place I discovered not too long ago , I affirmed that among the Africa restaurants around here this is the best in terms of food preparation taste, atmosphere, customer service and hospitality, it is run and managed by family so go there if you wanna have a good taste of African delicacy! I ate their bitter leave soup and I got sleepy every time I take it as a proof of good taste!

I went to this establishment 7/22/2024 and order Orka SOUP and fufu with croaker fish I don’t like to complain about a business but once I got sick the next day all bets was off the Orka SOUP was dry and tasteless which defeats the purpose of eating it with fufu the fish was fried to a crisp but also NO TASTE I SPENT almost 25$ just to be sick the next day I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO PLACE ITS NOT WORTH MY HEALTH BEING COMPROMISED IF THE FOOD IS OLD THROW IT OUT BEFORE YOU HURT SOMEONE

I wish I had a picture to show how professional and how yummy the food was. We catered food for an event and the food was so delicious that guest were taking plates home!!! The afang was the best apart, the guest literally licked their plates. My husband said Queen Vee is our official caterer from now on. We will be using them again.

My first time here and the Food was absolutely delicious, awesome, fantastic, and very flavorful. 😋 my only gripe is the fish could have been bigger. But that's only because it was soo good and i would have liked more of it🤣🤣 i definitely will be back. Sorry no pictures dug into the food too fast and once i got started...i couldn't stop!

Croaker fish and spinach soup was so good. It was a Little pricier than what I’m used to, however I didn’t mind it once I ate the food 💯

All 🌟 stars! It was empty when we arrived so no wait (not due to quality of food!!, probably after lunch rush). Ladies were very nice and had great suggestions. Atmosphere was calm and inviting. Nice picture wall. FOOD was very good. Good portion and taste. Jollof rice was amazing!!

Queen Vee’s food is made with love and it’s evident in every bite. I ordered the egusi soup with beef and it was seasoned to perfection. The beef was tender and I liked that she didn’t use a ton of palm oil when making her soup. I give it a 10/10 and can’t wait to try more of her dishes!

The Egusi had NO soup, NO flavor, NO oil and only had chunks of the white stuff. The chicken was hard and tasted funny. I called to let the owner know and he said “ohhh I never heard of that” lol okay that explains the empty restaurant at all times sir . I have had egusi from different restaurants before and this is by faaarrrrrr the worst one!

Terrible place I don’t recommend it if you are a true African . I paid for two bowls of egusi and it was no soup in it and no spices It was a 5 out of 10 experience this store should be a 2.9 not a 4.9 I’m just being honest and when I called the owner to let them know they said “wow I never heard this”

I am rating this place a 5 star restaurant just for my people the African food is on point and it’s tasty and delicious! I’m doing this because this is a underrated restaurant and I want more people to come and help 10/10 service and help and 10/10 food it’s all really good!

Today was great! the Food was BOMB! I absolutely love the food and atmosphere. The customer service was really good and I felt like I was at home. 10 out of 10 would recommend 👌 and I will be back the next time I come to this state!

The food was delicious we normally have to travel so far for Nigerian food, but this was spectacular and fresh def made to order. My husband is Nigerian and we wanted some Nigerian food and even though it was delivered via Uber eats it was packaged so well, nothing spilled. Thank you so much and we will be back.

I have been to many Nigerian restaurants on the west side of town and it’s not very often that I see Banga Soup. Once I discovered that Queen Vees had Banga Soup, I made the trek over to the east side to try it. The soup was hot, fresh, and most of all delicious. The portion size was generous and the meat was tender. The service was quick and the restaurant was spotless. I enjoyed meeting the beautiful ladies who prepared such a wonderful meal. I can’t recommend Queen Vees enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit so I can try more delicious soups!

ABSOLUTELY DELISH!!! It was my first time eating at this restaurant. I normally order Egusi with Fufu whenever I visit an african restaurant. (I also bought the okra soup.) When I started eating the Egusi I was SHOCKED how good it was! I made my sister, who swore off of eating African food because she ate Egusi before and hated, try it. She fell in love!!! We couldnt stop ourselves it was so good. We immediately U turned and went back to order 2 more orders. I live in Macon and I'm more then happy to drive back up just for the food! I highly recommend this restaurant 👏🏾😍

Now let me tell you this. I was recommended by a close friend who is Nigerian about this place. I asked her where could I find some great Jallof rice because I hear about it but never tried. Let me tell you this!!!!! Maaaan. This piece of delicious sensation made with love and care, is probably the best rice I have ever had. And I mean from any establishment. Queen Vees, I don’t know who your competitors are around the area. But they better watch out!!!!

I have traveled to Nigeria several times. The food here is amazing. The best Nigerian food I have had in the USA.

I had the jollof plate with peppered turkey and plantain. The portion of jollof and plantain was generous and everything tasted phenomenal. No crumbs or leftovers. Will go back!

The food is really good. Me and my husband had the assorted meat with jollof rice. My only complaint is that you only get a small serving of meat.

I saw this restaurant pop up in my Google Maps search while looking for a new Nigerian food spot since my “favorite” place changed management and the food quality went down. 🥹 I was so happy to see Queen Vees was less than 10 mins from me. I stopped in and ordered a bowl of Egusi Soup with Beef. It was sooooo yummy! 😋 It didn’t take long to come out, it was still piping hot by the time I got home 30mins later. It was seasoned to perfection! 👌🏾 Not too much seasoning and, not too little. The Beef was seasoned all the way through! I couldn’t stop eating it even after I became full. Lol I ate at my old place 3x a week. I can’t wait to try more dishes. I just have to make it there early enough before they sell out of Stew. They were out when I arrived at 4pm 🥹 I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Let's start at the display of foods on the windows! You would think they were commercializing the food to look more appealing but i tell you: what you see is an UNDERSTATEMENT of what you actually get. I ordered the ogusi soup with fufu for lunch, and added some goat meat. Let's just say a picture couldn't do this food justice, I was so hungry I didn't have time to take a picture but I hope my descriptions persuade. You really have to taste this experience, bursting with flavor isn't descriptive enough. The consistency of the fufu is perfect, the portions are great and the presentation is reminiscent of a neighborhood village spot in Africa. Queen Vee surely does give you royal treatment, she came out with a mixbowl of water so I can clean my hands as I ate... She is extremely warm and welcoming, she is also witty! Seriously, if you are looking for good Nigerian Cuisine, please visit Queen Vees, this place will NOT dissapoint.

The food is spectacular. We tried the Afang soup, the beans and plantain and the yam porridge and loved it. The suya was succulent and I’ve also previously tried their goat pepper soup, which I loved. Best tasting nigerian restaurant in town, period.

Clean, friendly, flavorful! I could not ask for more. Converted a picky eater into a regular customer on the Jollof rice and goat pepper soup alone.

Let me start by saying that I've passed this place numerous times and really haven't had much African Cuisine... With that being said, this place is amazing. I had the Joloff Rice, peppered turkey and some peppered fish (croaker) Restaurant was clean and the people were extremely friendly. I am looking forward to going back and trying everything on this menu..

I had the native soup...It was supposed to be to go...but at the sight of it,I finished my ball of pounded yam...It tasted fresh just like back home...I will be coming back to try other dishes..My friend had Jollof rice fish and turkey ...it was nice too.the ambience was perfect. The only reason I put 4/5 for atmosphere is because there weren’t a lot of people there. Many I didn’t go during peak hours. However it’s a nice place and I hope more people become regulars here.

This is soul food! For those unfamiliar with African cuisine, this ain't your mama's kitchen. It's more like your favorite Aunt's cooking. Familiar ... but exotic. We highly recommend Queen Vee's when you want food that's the 'same but different'.
