There's so many sandwiches and poboys and plates to choose from. I had fried catfish with shrimp and crab sauce. And my wife had viel parm pasta and it was so good. My grandpa came here for about 50+ years, and this was my first time back in like 10 years.

Fantastic hidden jewel filled with history, flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere. Now, one of my frequently visited restaurants in Old Metairie area.

Love this place! Whenever working in this neighborhood, my crew and me eat here for lunch. Some of the best poboys you will find and the lunches are all good too. Very reasonable priced and great friendly service! Highly recommend

Do not get their roast beef poboy!! Unless of course you like cayenne pepper in your gravy! Nowhere on their menu does it say the roast beef is spicy. When I called the lady said they put a little bit in the gravy to give it a little kick. This was entirely too spicy to eat. Without the pepper it would be an almost perfect roast beef poboy. Who in the hell gave them such high reviews when they jack up their roast beef gravy with cayenne pepper??? Their prices aren't the best either. Never again!!!

This is one of the restaurants that stood out during my research for our vacation. About a 15 minute drive from the city. Hidden in a cute neighborhood. Not flashy or loud. A simple, clean, friendly, reasonably priced fresh seafood experience. Robert the owner was happy to make my “creation” and asked a lot of questions, which I like. He also shared the story of the restaurant, which was endearing and a sweet story. You order at the counter. Grab your drink from the coolers and then wait for delicious food to arrive. Huge, fresh soft shell crab and large plump shrimp made up our sandwiches. Everything was well seasoned and cooked expertly. I only wish I had more room to eat more of the huge serving. This one will be a favorite for future trips.

If you find a friendlier staff in town, please let me know so I can go there also. This place just feels like home. I tried the Deli Combo which is turkey, ham and roast beef with gravy. And since it’s Monday I also had red beans and rice. Everything was really tasty and fresh. I definitely needed a nap after this meal!

This place is generous with there portions and the owners and people at the register are awesome!

Found this place online, had great reviews however I was disappointed by the texture of the bread on the poboy. It was not the soft french bread that I expected at NOLA restaurant

Took my back to living in Biloxi as a kid. Roast beef poboy was loaded up with tender beef, dripping with juice! Huge portion for the price I was so stuffed I could barely finish it, but had to because it was that good. Oh yeah almost forgot the boudin balls they were fried fresh and AMAZING. Robert was so nice and kind to us even though we came in late, and it was such a cool experience to get to hear from him about the shop and how he came to own it. Thanks again! If you are anywhere near here please drive over and stop in, you won't regret it. I am so thankful we found it! Will be back to visit in 2026!!!

Stopped by Radosta's because I was looking for a great place to eat in Metairie. Google reviews never fail me. This place was very good. Very laid back atmosphere. Told me, if you are eating here, just eat and pay before you leave. I didn't even have a ticket, they just asked my name at the register. Onion rings were fabulous. Fried to perfection. I had the homemade meatball sub with provolone. They made it just how I like it, not dripping with sauce. It was just the right amount of sauce to meatball ratio. Not soggy at all. I will visit again and try the oyster poboy next..

Delicious shrimp po’boy! The 7” was plenty big enough. Very nice people here, too.

Great poboys. Homemade sausage was so good. Our only complaint was the bread was very hard on the outside and actually cut our mouths. We're used to Gambinos bread which is much softer. Just a little hard to chew. Cool place though and love supporting local business

Husband and friends were racing at NOLA Motorsports Park and we wanted something besides fastfood for lunch. Radosta's was fantastic. Truly great po'boys (we liked the shrimp and roast beef the best) plus great boudin and okra. We keep a list of places worth going back to when we travel, and Radosta's is on it twice! Thank you for a delicious hot lunch on a cold, wet day.

Sincerely delicious food, family friendly menu and staff. Overall 11/10! Pros: FOOD, FRIENDLY STAFF, LARGE PORTION SIZE. Also the paper towels are quality 👌 Cons: I don’t live close enough

My Co workers and I ordered at 12:35 and sat down at a table. I waited 40 minutes for a sandwich while everyone else at my table and at other tables got their food and finished. When I told the waitress to cancel my order she assured me that the chicken was on coming off the grill and my order will be right out. Well, she still bought it 10 more orders before mine. She didn't even offer an apology. Mind you, I'm the only black person in there. I told the other waiter about it and he told me the manager said he or she didn't have time to come out and talk to me. I won't be going back! Update: You don't get to tell me my experience at your restaurant. Nothing was exaggerated! I was the only black person in there and was last to get my food AFTER my party was done eating! People that came in after me got their food before me. I know your cameras caught that. It shouldn't have been about race, but that's how it made me feel. PS your waitress never apologized, only the nice guy at the register. Thank you!

Great little neighborhood spot that you kinda have to know about to find...Well, now you do, so what are you waiting for? It looks like a grocery that served poboys that morphed into a poboy shop that has a grocery aisle :) Solid roast beef and other deli poboys. Casual feeling, like you're eating with family.

Had a great shrimp poboy and great service. Shrimp were large and tasty and the french bread had just the right amount of crunch. Love that atmosphere that looks like it has not changed in 50 years. A large sign inside boasts that they have beers "from every hemisphere." I bet that wasn't difficult to accomplish ;)

Not even a roast beef fan but their po boy of it was life changing!!

Went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. People were very friendly. The food was great. I had a fried shrimp PO boy and onion rings. Both were delicious. It's a neighborhood restaurant wasn't crowded but several tables were full. I will definitely go back.

It's a local place, been around a long time. Great poboys, great seafood plates. The staff have always been super nice in my experience. The roast beef poboys are real pot roast, not sliced up lunch meat like a lot of the tourist chow you get in the FQ. It's off the beaten path, but if you're in Old Metarie and need lunch, I highly recommend.

Definitely worth the time to stop in. Incredibly good! Hubby got the roast beef po boy that was tender and filling. The ultimate grilled cheese had that impressive cheese stretch. Boudin Balls are amazing with the spicy mustard dip. Seems like a known lunch spot for locals.

I'm from 13th ward uptown New Orleans ..this might be the best hot sausage I've ever had. Apparently they don't get it from the factory like others, they make them in the back. It was fire, literally. Spicy and unique, but still definitely new orleans "hot sausage". Also saw someone get a set of onion rings that looked pretty gnarly too. But yeah if this ain't the best hot sausage I've ever had, its definitely up there.

LISTEN !!!! Some of the best food I’ve had ! That hot sausage po-boy is undefeated, the best I ever had !! It’s most definitely the hottest for sure. The fish & shrimp were fried to perfection. All the food was amazing and cooked fresh to order. The customer service was amazing, 10/10 ! I highly recommend this place. They deserve lots of recognition and exposure. I’ll be back for sure !

Very great old style poboy shop. Atmosphere is great and the food is excellent! I’ve had tons of poboys from all over the city and this is on par with the best around. Oysters was plentiful and the homemade hot sausage is impeccable. Very fast and great service. Very friendly and clean place even with the amount of folks coming and going.

Located in Old Metairie. This is the kind of place that if somebody doesn't tell you about it you're not likely to stumble upon it. It's tucked up inside of a neighborhood that isn't the type of neighborhood you'll just be traveling through on your way to somewhere else. When you go in there there's always plenty of people so clearly word has gotten around for years. This does not surprise me as a food is good. It is classic New Orleans Italian Cajun fair. Po boys are great and they have a lot of bottled beers. The service is hilariously New Orleans.

Went there for a muffaletta. Not enough olive salad. Aunt KL liked the oyster poboy & Uncle DL liked the shrimp.

Came here because it was highly reviewed on Google. The first thing I have to point out is that the air conditioning in the building is not nearly sufficient. The staff is friendly, but when they didn't have the dish that my date ordered(Jambalaya), instead of just telling us, they brought out her salad and told us. I felt this was a bit pushy. The main thing my date wanted was Jambalaya, and we may have gone somewhere else to get that. Having the news brought to us with food felt like we were kind of being pressured to stay. When the food arrived(oyster po-boy for me, chicken parm for her), it was average at best. The bill was far more than average, though. All in all, I felt like the food was overpriced and the dining area was too hot.

Fabulous Grilled shrimp po-boy. Fried shrimp platter was delicious, perfect amount of breading, fried to perfection. (Bonus points for no tails left on Shrimp.)

My regular lunch hangout recently. I have tried many different things on the menu and really like them all. The people are super nice and helpful….highly recommend!

Had lunch at Radosta's last Friday. So good, I went again on Saturday - the grilled shrimp salad was divine - the blue cheese dressing, the best I've ever had. The owner or manager was so nice, he even came over and told us how he seasons the shrimp! Then on Saturday I had the soft shell crab poboy. MIND BLOWN. It was a buster crab, extra mayo and couldn't have been any tastier. It was fried to perfection and served with fresh lemon on the side - So darn good, we're going back again this Friday! Five out of Five, for sure!

Old deli style vibe, with great customer service and good fresh food being served here. It’s in the middle of a neighborhood and not loud and noisy, or jammed up with other restaurants it’s about 15 minutes away from Downtown New Orleans

Had the best grilled chicken sandwich here that I've had in my life 🙂 My boyfriend's roast beef poboy practically made him emotional, that's how good it was. They also have great drink options, stuff we don't usually see elsewhere. Don't get a bs sandwich in the French Quarter, come here and you will definitely not be disappointed!!!

I definitely had high hopes based on the star rating, and so many great reviews. Yes, the onion rings are huge! Not my favorite breading that I’ve ever tasted and they could use a little salt, but the sheer enormity of them is a sight to behold. Alas for me (as always with po-boys) it comes down to the BREAD! In photos, it appears to be light, flaky and airy. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. My shrimp po-boy tasted heavy. Weighed down by dense, doughy, chewy bread. Shrimp themselves were good. But every po-boy lover knows if the bread ain’t right, the po-boy ain’t right. No matter how good the stuff in the middle is. Eggplant parm poboy was bland and nearly flavorless. Maybe the bread thing was just that it wasn’t fresh anymore, I don’t know. But po-boys are a fairly expensive treat these days, and when a place is hailed as having “the best poboys” one has high expectations. Charming neighborhood joint. Nice people. But when it comes to our beloved po-boy sandwich, I’ve definitely had better.

Great hot roast beef poboy dressed! It had a spicy flavor, and the roast beef was sliced a bit thick, but was tender and lean. If you get an Abita to wash it down with, be aware that the bottle opener is attached to the post near the cooler.

While on a recent trip we found this gem hidden away. The food was great, the staff was great and if I lived nearby I would be a regular.

Fantastic food and great service. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you have not already. It seems like there are new owners but it is still the same great food, same great service, and same name. All of the daily specials are now offered every day. I ordered the chicken parmesan plate. It came with a large piece of chicken parmesan, plenty of melted cheese on top on a bed of pasta. It also came with a vegetable aside salad and bread. All of this was about $13 or so. I eat a lot of food and I usually do not get full from one meal but this meal did fill me up and it would be plenty of food for two meals or two lunches for the average person probably.

Friendly staff and great food. I have eaten there twice: Red beans and rice, Roast beef Po-boy, and a Catfish covered with shrimp cream sauce sided with Mach Choux. It is a nice local hidden neighborhood eatery.

In my opinion it's the best roast beef po'boy in the city. After you try one of those, work your way through the rest of the menu. It's all good. Last time we had the muffaletta and their grilled cheese.

Great food and great service. It keeps the deli/convenience store atmosphere, while having tables and chairs for dining in. Will definitely come back in the future.

Again, the food was excellent, beer plentiful. Still reigning supreme is the hot sausage po boy, the absolute best I have ever had.

This was the first time for me to try this restaurant and po-boy my landlord Grass cutter that live in metairie all his life told me about this place so he also told me about the best Sandwiches and food they have so I did try the place for first time and I can tell you that you will be So overwhelmed how great the food is and also how great the Service and atmosphere was and the Prices are not that bad at all it is family owned and it in Wonderful neighborhoodSo please don't miss out please try this place and find out for yourself.

Same employees for a long time which is always a good sign of a place run well. Doesn’t have everything you are looking for but you can usually find something you need for a quick fix.

I absolutely love this place. Just happen to order the best Po-boy. I had a dressed Roast Beef. The meat was so delicious. I got a Miller Lite and very nice lady brought me a ice cold mug. I mean my beer was freezing up as I drank it. It was so wonderful. Then my friend got the onion rings. Oh My goodness the onion rings are the best I have ever had.

Solid poboy restaurant in Old Metairie Debris Roast Beef Poboy is excellent

I was referred here by a customer. They close at 3, and I showed up at 2:35 and they made me feel like I was putting them out by wanting a roast beef poboy. The roast beef was on the verge of going bad, the lady didn’t listen to my order and added dressing when I just asked for mayo. I got so sick after eating there. I wish I hadn’t stopped. I paid $15 for a 7” poboy, drink and bad diarrhea.

Neighborhood spot. Great for lunch with friends, family, coworkers etc.

The fully dressed roast beef poboy is incredible. Truly haven’t eaten anything else here because I can’t pass on the roast beef. This is a true New Orleans style poboy so prepare to get a little messy.
