Our family has eaten here for many years. I commonly take out of town business colleagues here to eat locally and they never disappoint. When we need to cater or order food for larger groups of people Megan and the Red Top team always knock it out of the park!!

Everything is amazing. I had the pulled pork, and it doesn't need anything added to it. Just across the north border of Tennessee and a gem off the main road.

Amazing! Meat n two for us. Chicken was tender, beef was just perfect. Got the hot sauce, just right, spicy & flavorful. Clean and neat and friendly and quick. Easy to spot from the highway too.

When I'm out that way, I always stop here. They have the best bbq ever. I also got a whole chocolate fudge pie this time. They are to die for. I recommend this place to everyone who loves bbq and good pies. They truly are the best.

Took a detour off the interstate hoping to find good BBQ. Was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent, service was quick and the dining area and restrooms were clean.

I went here yesterday and pre-ordered the sausage plate. We took about 5 minutes to get there. My food was cold. I was very upset because this is the 2nd time this has happened. I was on my way out of town and couldn't stop anywhere else. Very disappointed. It's been better before but if this happens again, I'll never return

This is the best bbq I've had in a long time. Definitely need to try it if you're looking for amazing flavor at a good price! Their pulled pork is amazing! Also loved the sides as well.

After driving past the place on numerous occasions I finally stopped in on Valentines day. I got the Ribs and Beef BBQ. The service was quick, the food was excellent, the the price was very reasonable. I'll be back!

Huge pork chop sandwich wit hot sauce for 6 bucks I bet the chop weighed 2 pounds and it was delicious very fast and friendly service...💯

I really wish I could rate this place better but the food was nearly inedible. Out of 4 of us the 3 that got the brisket couldnt finish it. One had about 2 bites and couldnt finish, another had a few more than that and tapped out. I thought it was ok and then I hit something, no idea what it was, but it tasted unlike anything I've had and thats not in a good or interesting way. The coworker that had the pork made it all the way through without issue. The green beans were good, but 2 that got mac and cheese couldnt eat that as well. I have no idea what they did to the cornbread but it was like a bland, overcooked, thick cornbread pancake. Maybe thats just a local way of doing it but none of us were fans. The young lady up front was nice and the food came out pretty quick. I had both the regular sauce and hot, but neither were anything to rave about. So 3/3 brisket orders were just awful. I'm so sorry to post this but it was just that bad. Maybe it was an off day but whatever it was I tasted cant be forgiven. I personally wont be back. Sorry.

Absolutely phenomenal place to stop for a bite to eat. As a truck driver, I eat a lot of places and this was one of the best for sure. Food and service were top notch.

Girl at the register was super friendly. Had ribs with mild sauce, green beans, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and pork sandwich. For dessert pecan pie.

Their is amazing melt you're melt your mouth. It is worth the money. It is very clean place to eat or order out to eat. Best place in town to eat.

I and the rib plate with 2 sides and a drink for $12. The food was excellent! The rings were moist, nice smoky flavor and fell off the bone tender. I will be visiting Red Top again next time I'm in the area. Stop in and try them.

Quiet little BBQ place out Guthrie hwy. Can't miss the giant black and white cow in the gravel lot. We had the chicken bbq and the pork bbq, corn bread and cole slaw for lunch. For desserts, we got chess pie and chocolate pie. The BBQ had a bitter, artificial smoke taste. Meh, rather boring. The Mac and cheese needed salt and butter. The cole slaw? Tasted like what you buy premade at the grocery store. The corn bread was cold and mealy. The iced tea was warm as they were out of ice. The gal handling the cash register and who brought out our meals was very friendly and extremely helpful. It's not worth the trip.

Lots of options menu wise. I purchased a lb of pulled pork. It didn't have a lot of flavor, considering it had a strong smoke odor. Clean restaurant and fast friendly service. I placed my order over the phone.

The food was very good and loved the setting and atmosphere at Red Top Barbecue. They were very nice and sweet individuals. I was also amazed at how clean there restroom was.

BBQ Pork plate at Red Top was the best pork barbecue I've found in KY or TN in the 28 years we've lived here - plenty of 'bark'/outside meat in the mix - and a lot of it. . Needed more sauce than they provided. Pork chop was huge and cooked to perfection. Sides - potato salad, BBQ beans(with BBQ pork in 'em!), fried okra, mac & cheese were all very good, and decent portions. Cornbread was excellent. Prices were unbelievably low for the portions provided. Can't wait for my next trip to Guthrie!

I've found a new love in Kentucky, cherry cobbler , BBQ, potato salad. Haven't found a bad choice on the menu.

Food was REALLY good!. Hot and seemed to be fresh. Had really good flavor. After my main order, I went back to the counter and ordered more side dishes just to sample them. Hubby even got more ribs to take home. 2 plates with 2 sides & a bread another 1/2 order ribs, 1/2 order sausage, and 1 side to take home w/ the delicious hot sauce (dipped my sausage in it, yummo! )...with 2 drinks cost around $35. Well worth it. We will go back. Clean and Friendly!!! P.S nice sized portions for the most part...some things could be a little more portioned.

Not only am i in walking distance from this place, i love the food here. Great service and whenever its open and i dont feel like cooking i will come over here and eat.

Today was my first time going to Red top barbecue and the food was really good and let me tell you it was all I can eat the barbecue chicken was really good and they were really friendly I'm sure I will be back no more McDonald's for me lol I found my favorite place to eat 👍

Bbq was delicious,had a family meal fed four will visit again soon.

I got the rib plate. The meat fell off the bone. No need for BBQ sauce, the meat was that tasty. Sides were sides. Nothing special, but the ribs were delicious.

This place is outstanding! Best BBQ we’ve had since being in the area. They catered for a farewell for us today and everything was on point! The pork and chicken were both perfectly done, delicious and moist and full of flavor! Sauces were incredible along with the baked beans and other sides! Many compliments on all of it and any leftover spread was quickly packed up by people to bring home. Lol. Their prices are so good and they even give a military discount! The owner made everything pleasant and smooth. We will absolutely be using them for all of our BBQ needs!

We are from WA state and have been traveling for six weeks. This is one of the best barbecue meals that we have eaten. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant its self was clean and pleasant. We will be back if we are ever in the area again

So glad they have opened back up after the Covid shut down. Food is just as delicious as ever and the inside remodel looks amazing! Definitely does not disappoint!

I can't even begin to tell you that I have tried almost every BBQ place in Clarksville, and Red Top FINALLY meets my rib standards. They are fall off the bone and the BBQ sauce has the perfect tang to sweet ratio. I can't stand pure sugar BBQ sauces. The smokiness is perfect! It's not too smokey where I can't taste to he flavor of the meat. The sides are mediocre, but I don't go to a place like this to eat the sides Lol.

We came today for the grand reopening. Red Top has always been our favorite place and we have missed it so much. We came around 12pm. They were pretty busy but they still managed to get our order out really quick! I got the pulled pork sandwich and my husband ribs. We also ordered Cole slaw, beans, Mac n cheese. The food was amazing. Can't wait to go back again.💕

Nice home town restaurant. The people are warm and friendly. And the barbecue ribs were delicious!

I went in to get some fries for my mom. Ended up getting the beef brisket sandwich with fries but didn't get to eat it. Son ate the sandwich and said it was okay. I tasted the fries and those were good. Crispy with a soft center and just the right seasoning.

Turnip greens were a little too oily and too much of the stems but brisket was flavorful pork was too cornbread pancake was good nice crust too

Great taste. Somewhat of a wait for lunch food. Brisket taste good, not as juicy as I preferred. But the sauce completed the Sandwich.

Good food for the price. Being from Louisiana I’m not use to flat cornbread. We got (2) 2 meat plates with 2 sides. The ribs , sausage and brisket were very good. The baked beans had a good flavor. The potato salad was ok. I like the fact that it is small place. Nothing fancy. Atmosphere has a country feel. People are very nice. If you are passing by I suggest stopping in to try the food.

Food wasn't bad but service was very slow for being no busier than it was. I got two different kinds of sandwiches but they weren't labeled so we had to guess which was which. This was important to us as one sandwich was pork and my companion doesn't eat pork.

Decent BBQ. Slaw and baked beans were good. Cornbread had no taste to it...unless it's slightly burned taste counts. Friendly service. $11 for pork plate and two drinks.

I got one pork and one beef BBQ sandwich. They weren't marked so had to guess which was which. This is a problem for those who don't eat pork. The wait was long and it wasn't even lunch time. But it tasted okay, I wouldn't drive the twenty five miles for it from my house. I just happened to be in the area.

Barbecue at Red Top was GREAT! The prices are good and ranks up there with other local barbecue spots....Thumbs up!!

Like this place. Free water. Wish they had real lemons instead on reconstituted lemon juice in small packets. Veggies good, BBQ good. Tax included in price.
