Jake is a ray of sunshine. He went out of his way to make us feel special with a custom drink that was absolutely delish and beautiful. He is sharp with his witty banter AND with his Hawaiian shirt on this rainy day, reminds me of the beautiful Florida sunsets that take place after every storm that strolls through.

Visited for the first time on a Saturday evening. We recently moved to Westchase and this was a great spot for two tired parents to steal away for a mini-date. The bartenders were friendly, I enjoyed the prohibition/speakeasy vibe, and the drinks were very good. I had the Black Tie Manhattan and my husband had a margarita. They've got an extensive bourbon and tequila menu. We'll definitely be back regularly. (Plus you can bring something to eat with you!)

Super nice old style feeling bar. No food, but feel free to bring your own and even share.

Repeal 18 is a wonderful atmosphere, most expressly Mike Day, as a bar tender creates a level up. Ask Mike to make you a Banana Walnut Manhattan its quintessential balance of sweet and bitter lulling you into mouthwatering bliss. Smooth decadent and unrivaled. Along with Repeal 18’s lovely list and assortment of handcrafted cocktails. In my opinion this establishment and Mikes mix is TOP NOTCH I hope you enjoy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me

This place is a hidden gem. My homegirl took me here for bday bevs and I fell instantly in LOVE with the aesthetics!!!!!! She knew I would love this place!! The red lighting is a great compliment to the vibes. We had an amazing guy welcome us, take our drink orders and he came back with SURPRISE BDAY SHOTS for him and I!!!!!💕 Loved it! Everything about this place gives GOOD VIBES!!! The drink menu is exciting and fabulous; make sure check out the espresso martini because it's TOP TIER. Also try the AVIATION bev; you won't be disappointed. From the aesthetics, the red lighting, the music, the inviting service, the drinks, EVERYTHING was 1000/10. Shout out to the creators of this dope establishment! Thank you for starting my summer in style; Repeal 18 is a masterpiece.

Really cool vibe, and Victoria is the best bartender ever such a sweetheart, and she's cute too ;) A few months later, and yes, Vic is still the bees-knees. Also, I love the vibe in here its dope Victoria doesn't work here anymore, but it's still a vibe I guess.

Repeal 18 is scam! Spend $165 for a drink to get photo on the wall and it never even gets put up. They have had 50 days to print a photo. I took down all my positive remarks and photos till my $165 photo is hung up and stays up. Here is a photo of the staff taking my pic as proof. Edit One week later no word from management.

Normally great drinks, but around the holidays 2024, they were watered down, not great. Espresso martini looked like low fat choc milk, not dark in the least, and the old fashion looked like pale lemonade, not a rich Carmel color. Not mixologist there. But the atmosphere is low-key, most times not very crowded. We go there once a quarter at random, not a bad place. It's a good half way mark to stop when heading north out of Tampa... get a drink, play darts, then head the rest of the way to Lutz.

Great little bar. Good prices and a big selection of whiskies. Recommended for sure.

Stopped in for Sunday and it was happy hour. Anywhere you can get a $6 craft cocktail, uh yeah go there. Indoor and outdoor seats and an adult hideaway so leave the little ones elsewhere. The bartender was nice but a little too friendly with the locals and forgot to pay attention to us. Also the music selection did not fit the ambience. Pro Tip: Make it sexy date time no matter day or eve drinking.

When visiting, ask for a Banana Foster's shot - you won't be disappointed (if they have bananas - I bring one just to be safe). Whiskey and Boubon selection is GOOD!

My girlfriend and I visit repeal weekly. Great dim lighting and always have the games on. We love Vick! Always does a great job.

Great atmosphere, but most of all, great drink menu and drinks! So hard to find places that know how to make a decent old fashioned. They make them perfect here. Will definitely go back.

Staff common snubbish behavior towards minorities. Drinks are pricey, they allow some abnoxious regular customers to bother new ones. The fact that majority of the bartenders acted indifferently towards minority hinted that this is an issue thst trickles down from management hence condoned.

This place was so bad I will not go there again! 1st ever time I went there was in 2019 on a date and I thought it was the girl that made the exp bad, but after my last visit on Saturday I remembered it was the place and the staff... Terrible service, long wait, no good, attitude all across staff and customers, but if you want to go there and beat up some pompos white trash and get kicked out is the perfect place!

I heard about Repeal from a friend who goes there often. I went for the first time on a Friday night around 7:00pm. The decor was awesome. I loved the setup, the “lounge” vibe, and the barstools were great. It was not overly crowded and there was plenty of room at the bar. There were approximately 3 servers/bartenders and a someone who presumably was a bar back. We sat down at the bar and waited approximately 10 minutes to be helped\served\acknowledged. Many years ago, I was a bartender and a server so I know what the job entails and I know the struggles. It gets very busy and it’s hard to be there promptly for everyone; therefore, I always remember that still to this day. So, I am very patient and understanding as a customer. However, staff looked at us on numerous instances and walked by on more than one occasion and completely ignored us. Again, I understand being busy but not one person said “hi, we will be right back or right with you”. Again, there were empty tables and maybe only 5 people sitting at the bar. I’m guessing maybe a total of 20 or so people (customers) but 4 staff. After 10 minutes we got up and left. I was very disappointed and will not return.

Hidden gem in Westchase with a deep and interesting cocktail menu. Repeals's top shelf options are ridiculous but they have something for everyone. The space is cozy and inviting. The bartenders are friendly, fast and knowledgeable. I can ask for a dealer's choice and trust whatever I get will hit the spot. It's easy to lose a few hours there. Wish it was closer to where I live

Great bar for craft drinks. The old fashioned here is probably the best in the Tampa area. They also have a huge selection of bourbon and scotch. Definitely recommend this place.

Repeal is a great cocktail lounge. It's very relaxing inside and they have great drinks. My boyfriend is really into whiskey, and bourbon and really likes their extensive menu. Sara is a great bartender and makes really good drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Drinks are decently priced, nothing glamorous about the drinks and the place is clean. I only worked with one bartender and she seemed to have an attitude.

Just came here for the first time after living in Citrus Park for the last 2 years. Let me say, the handmade cocktails are on point and the service is awesome. Sara is exceptional with the service and the consistency of the cocktails. Definitely recommend. Try "When Life Gives You Melons" and an original "Old Fashioned".

I wish there were less tables set up. It feels very cramped in there, specially if you used to come when there were just two pool tables at the end of the bar. The place felt much more open back then. I still like the drinks and the service. I wish the music wasn't so loud. Overall, not bad. I'll try to come back in the middle of the week to see if it's not too crazy in there.

Best Sazerac I've had. Even after living in NOLA. Fantastic Bourbons​, ice balls. Don't miss out. Tequilas and speciality drinks are great also. A great speakeasy feel with a pool table and dart board.

Repeal is delicious! They make great drinks and have a cute little outside seating area. Drinks are a little more pricey, but that's due to the careful craft they put into each one. Worth it!

Chrystina was amazing and i loved the environment. All the bartenders were great but specifically Chrystina went above and beyond. We loved her and she'll be the reason we return. The drinks were hella strong and worth the price. Loved them! Thanks for being great~

Just moved to the Westchase area recently and visited here for a late night drink. Loved the atmosphere and drinks, my favorite was the espresso martini! All of the bartenders were very nice, attentive, and gave great recommendations. So glad we found this little spot and will definitely be returning!

I love the atmosphere of this bar. Their menu centers mostly around bourbon & whiskey. I think you'll find a little something for everyone though. They were moderately crowded for a Saturday evening with 3 bartenders. I feel like they needed one more staff member to make service time more efficient. But, by no means do I mean there was bad service. If you're looking for something a little different for after-dinner cocktails, you should definitely check out Repeal 18.

After a long time finally got to this place. One of those places where you go in west-chase when everything else is closed. But i say start here if you can. Their daily drinks specials are amazing. The mules we ordered were perfect. Not many times it is gonna happen that your mules are perfect. The old prohibition feel of the place is superb. The red light look works even though its small. You should have one drink here at least and that should help you make your call.

Place has a massive selection of whiskey and a dimly lit atmosphere that helps set the mood. Pretty neat whiskey bar, even though I'm not much of a whiskey connoisseur, if you're into whiskey, check this place out.

What took me so long?! Finally stopped in for a cocktail. Shawna couldn't have been more genuinely welcoming, as if she was entertaining at her own home! I asked her opinion for my introductory cocktail and she noted that they're known for their Old Fashioned. And wow! I can definitely see why! Delicious! Make sure to see Shawna for a warm smile, great laughs and superb cocktails! 👌

The best late night place in Westchase to get a drink alone or with friends. When all the other bars are closed this bar gets that crowd who wants to continue partying. They also have a pool table.

only pool table around that i know of and its free. nothing i love more than free pool. ok well maybe free beer. but the bartenders are attractive and friendly and keep the drinks coming. always a good combination. reminds me of a bar i hung at in queens ny. great comfy place to have a few drinks with friends shoot some pool and play darts.
