They ran out of several of the beers.

Second to none when it comes to service! One of the few places the manager actually cares about customer service! Oh yeah, the beer and food are pretty good too!

Gotta' say, ut was the best brewery experience I've had in Albuquerque (no, I haven't been to Nexus yet). We got some loaded steak nachos. Totally delicious, and hearty. The steak was super flavorful and, shock of all shocks, seriously tender. I ordered a kielbasa and loaded it up with sautéed onions and fried green chile strip and out comes this humongous kielbasa! Fries were also excellent. Service was easily the most attentive and friendliest I've experienced at a brewpub. Atmosphere was top notch. Oh, yeah, and the beer was really good too.

I ordered their special listed on their chalk boards located at the front entry. It is written "your choice of sides" . I asked my server about the choice of sides. He told me, "Fries,sweet potato fries,tater tots, and salad. He did not disclose the additional up charges for the sides. When I received the bill, I inquired about the additional charges. He said he was new and was not aware of the additional charges for the sides. I brought this to the manager's attention. She told me that the additional charges are listed on the menu. However, I stated that the front entry signs did not mention these additional charges/fees. She basically stated that it is listed in the menu and that's that. I guess it is up to the consumer to read the "fine print" The consumers will be paying for their employees' lack of training and knowledge of their menu. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I absolutely love this place! You need to come and have 1 of each tacos on their menu. Rose and th3 band tonight "The Ukaladies" were freaking AMAZING! Service was the bomb! 100% A must try!

Good food, good beer, and amazing staff! I usually get their tacos, but today I got their grilled chicken sandwich and it was amazing! Husband got their brisket special and it was cooked to perfection. Always have a good expiration here. Their house rootbeer is so good, if you prefer nonalcoholic beverages. 10/10 always coming back, we usually bring our out of town visitors here after the zoo.

20 min. Burnt and missing ingredients sandwich. Sent back. Won't be coming again. Have in the past with similar experience and tried to give it a chance again. Mistake.

Beer was ok, we found a couple of nice brews. However, food was very mediocre, and the service was terrible. There's no need to get into what went wrong. If a brew pub is offering both beers and food, and charging premium prices, it should be a memorable experience, because of how good it was, not how awful it was.

I was really excited to try a new brewery that served food. The waitress was nice...at first. Once she got our beer order wrong, it all went down hill from there. Our food order was wrong, and wasn't very good. The beer was ok. Unfortunately due to customer service and the food, we won't be back.

We gave them a few more tries after a horrible experience with the staff at their crawfish boil (you're only allowed to eat your food outside & you're screwed if there's no tables available lmao). Every time customer service was awful. One time the cook arrived 30 minutes after we ordered (staff didn't mention there wasn't anyone in the kitchen to cook when our group of 5 ordered brunch). Once we got the food the hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was super cold so we asked if they could simply heat out plates up (we were desperate to eat since it had been over an hour since we ordered). The cook came out and said all hollandaise is served cold because it separates if hot 😂 Definitely won't be back which is a shame because it's an awesome space, but the staff was so rude every time.

Had the double green chili burger worst burger I have ever had asked to be medium rare came out charred burnt didn't send back but I should of . Would not recommend to eat . Beer was good .

First timer from NY. Visiting ABQ for work. Great beer. Attentive staff. Will definitely be back for the food. Every dish that walked by looked great

The food and beer are really good but the service is always pretty bad. They don't check on you or take too long that you no longer need a refill. I'm kinda sad they got rid of the crab cake sandwich too. That was so good!

We tried a flight of five beers and every one was delightful. The house burger with green chilies was also outstanding. The heat from the chilies was just hot enough to encourage us to keep sipping. The waitstaff was attentive but not at all intrusive. Thanks for a great night as we passed through on the way home to Georgia.

Excellent service, beer choice & food. It’s a bit out of the way on 2nd street which may affect its trendiness but service was excellent and very dog friendly.

Places like this will make me stop going out to restaurants..this place ignored me when we walked in I stood there 5 min this was at 7 pm Friday night 4/26/2024.and all front of house employees walked by us without a hey be right with you.and just let money turn around and walk out the door. I worked in food service for 30 years and this is out of hand we pay too much money to be treated like that..and it worries me if the front of the house is ran like that what does the back look like ...John Taffer please come to Albuquerque again they need your help.

It’s a great and good looking brewery. It used to be one of my favorites and used to have my all time favorite beer…used to. I just recently came back here on a visit to Albuquerque as I no longer live here, and I was very saddened to find out the Piñon Coffee Porter is no more. The owner stopped by our table, which we thought was awesome, and I let him know I was sad about the change. He said, “Well, it’s better now,” and then stopped talking to me. That wasn’t awesome. The food is always good, everything is always clean, but damn this was disappointing.

Saw a show in the Biergarden, great show, super facility.

Delicious food, third quenching beer, friendly staff, speed service and a great area to sit outside. I even did some work as there is WiFi.

Tasty lunch and nice, dog friendly patio seating. Enjoyed a custom grilled cheese.

I placed a big to go order that was ready super fast and correct. Everyone was very friendly and checking in on me while I was waiting. 10/10 will definitely return.

Good beer, good food, and great service. When we walked in there was only a couple tables available because it was busy, but we got waited on almost immediately. Then before we even looked at the food menu our beers had arrived. Our food arrived almost as fast, the queso and shrimp tacos were delicious. Everyone was friendly and our dog received lots of love. Wish we had this brewery where I live! Keep up the good work.

Wow, most excellent music @monroecrossing. Staff were friendly and super helpful, the sangria cider and Rio Rancho burger?!?! Man both awesome. Wish I lived in ABQ so I could visit often.

Tuesday night yoga is wonderful, everyone is very welcoming! Stayed afterward for beer and food and both were great! Love the vibe of the brewery!

Just ate dinner at the Rio Bravo. Great beer! Great food! Great service! My wife and I had the pretzel bites, house salads, shrimp tacos and a burger. Excellent!

The food is good, but the service sucks, sorry i dont normally say this but i have been here twice and no one comes to ask you if you need anyrhing, so i go to bar to ask and it takes over an hour to get a drink

Food was okay in my personal opinion, my burger was missing the condiments I requested, I’m not sure if it was a miscommunication on our waitress Trish, or once she put the order in with the cooking staff. Trish was persistent on us ordering quickly when we had explained to her that it was our first time there and we were looking over the menu. I don’t know if maybe she was having an off day, which is understandable but I think she could have worked on her patience and customer service a bit better. Another lovely lady with long dark hair w/ purple highlights in her hair cashed us out and her whole energy was 10,000,000 times better, had I got the chance to interact with her earlier I would’ve asked for her to take over.

Tried a flight of four different beers I've never tried, all interesting and a couple really good! I ended up getting my favorite glass of the "hazy Zebra" one, not sure the exact name. Delicious! Had a burger, my friend got the brisket sand. Both Delicious!! I forgot my phone when we left and my friend called to see if it was there. Yes, of course, they were trying to contact us in some way. Great people here, great food! Great Beer! five 👍's up!

We stopped by early on a weekday so it was very quiet but the space is amazing and they have a very sheltered outside "patio" along with an outside beer garden so they are dog friendly. The beers were excellent and I would love to visit when they are a bit busier as I suspect that you would meet lots in interesting people. They also have a kitchen and we enjoyed the food we sampled so it can be a complete stop where you can just hang out with friends.

Steak nachos, fish/chips and honey ginger beer were all the work of a genius. Great space in Wells Park.

The beer is great! Service is good. The food is bar food basic at best. The quesadillas are the best thing I've had out of about six things on the menu. The burger I had came out raw, on the menu they say they cook them to medium which is weird for a hamburger. The space is huge. I like coming here.

Sorry service I walked in sat down at bar was never acknowledged, no hello no I'll be right with you I sat there for twenty minutes a lady sat next to me and she was there for a good five minutes I told her good luck with the beer and walked out. They don't even deserve one star.

The best choice you'll make today - My friend and I stopped by for dinner around 5:45 on a Saturday and sat at the bar. There was plenty of seating, so this might be a hidden gem. The food, beer, service and ambience were all fantastic. I got the bravo burger, my friend got boneless wings with the sweet and spicy sauce and a side of tater tots. Everything was great. I got a flight of beers, the Brewski, the coffee porter, the freak juice IPA, and the dice roll IPA. The freak juice was my favorite, but I would drink all of them again. 3-4 bartenders that were all really attentive and friendly and the food came out in a very reasonable time. Lots of seating at the bar with view of several TVs, or a whole section without any distractions if you want to hang out with friends.

This is a big shout out to Gabe and all the Rio Bravo staff members who helped make our event in the Barrel Room a huge success! I highly recommend using Rio Bravo if you are hosting an event. The space was perfect and the food was delicious. We received so many positive comments from our guests regarding the space and the food. If I ever need to host and plan another event, Rio Bravo will be my first choice.

I came to this place for the first time last week and had an excellent server, Josiah, that was speedy and took the time to know my palate to find which beer was meant for me as well as recommended the posole as an appetizer to my chef salad with a delicious vinegar vinegarette!

Has Josiah as my server and he was fantastic! Kept the vibe of the night going steady and stayed ontop of everything!

Bad service got my order wrong waiting for thirty-five minutes with A$6,50 value off discount for them to think I was taking advantage when they were trying to take advantage of bone out when I asked bone in the off hot wings when they looked cooked but not all the way!!! Cause it was precooked It's a good place but racists. Melisa and Alex might have the managers name wrong but treated me unhumane!!

David Ellis our server did an awesome job! he went beyond what you’d expect at a brewery! The food and drinks were 5 stars and the service from David is why we will return. Even during balloon fiesta week! very attentive!

This place is great but Aliyah makes it even greater. She gave me and my whole family exceptional service, attended to our every need, made sure our pints were filled and she did all of this with the upmost respect and a smile. Be like Aliyah

The beer here my favorite in town. I had an American Logger that really knocked my socks off. The wings are also very good.

Come here often and generally love the food and beer. Ordered nachos and the cheese was clumpy and tasted burnt and just not edible. Didn’t eat them and informed server who said they would take them off but didn’t and instead removerd a beer for much less. Asked server and was told first round for group was removed instead: except only the second beer for the ONLY person who order more than 1 was removed. Even in Abq math stnadards that “1st round” equal 5 beers not 1. We did have split tickets for a group of 5 and only one beer was removed. Super sketchy and disappointed as we live almost an hour away and it’s a treat to drive into Albuquerque for beer and food.

I would have given it 3 stars if it wasn’t for Ruthie! She made us feel so welcomed, Rio bravo feels like it has become more corporate in the past few months. But Ruthie was so friendly and reminded us why we love Rio bravo! I think she is a new server, but she made us feel like we have been coming there for years!!

Came in and got recommended the meatball sub and dice roll by my server Josiah and it was fantastic. Will come again!

Was here on a Thursday night and place was mostly empty. I thought that would have meant fairly quick service but I was very wrong. Server was very polite and didn't seem apathetic, so I don't know if it was her or the kitchen. She even came out to tell me it would "just be a just few more minutes" for my order about ten minutes before it came. Took well over a half hour for food to come once ordered. Was just about to leave (hadn't ordered anything else yet) when it arrived. It was supposed to be a "salad" with stewed beef and pinto beans. It was very tasty, but it wasn't a salad. It was served in a fried taco shell (which in fairness I think is how it was described) but was actually a (generous) serving of beef and beans with a very tiny amount of lettuce. Good, but definitely not what I was expecting when I ordered a "salad". Atmosphere didn't do it for me. As others have said, definitely not in a pleasant neighborhood. Many brewpubs are in industrial warehouses and manage to pull off a great urban chic vibe or a hipster grunge vibe, or whatever. I definitely didn't feel any of that here. Maybe I was too irritated wondering where the .... my dinner was.

We had our grandkids there on a very not busy saturday. The owner asked us who owned "these" and said they were basically a hazard to the servers. He also said we have extra dog leashes here if you want to borrow them. We were watching them closely and they were not intrusive. The beer and food was good, but if on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm we can't enjoy a beer with our whole family then why bother? There are other places that welcome families and where the owner isn't a complete jerk.

There are a good number of excellent and interesting beers to choose from. They also had a substantial menu, which is not always the case with small brew pubs. My husband said the shrimp wrap was very good and I enjoyed a salad but we waited a very long time for the chicken wings and when they finally came, they had not been fried adequately. Still, this is definitely a place worth a try.

When we travel, we like to find local places that serve both food and area craft beer. If you're in Albuquerque, you may have trouble finding such a place (several breweries offered food trucks only) , but I'm here to tell you that Rio Bravo is IT! Rio Bravo is a prolific brewer in Albuquerque. My Untappd app shows 123 beers (not all available) from this brewer. So we drove over from our hotel and had a delightful time. Their flights of beer were reasonably priced. My wife had the three tacos for $10, choosing steak, chicken and avocado. I had the chicken tenders. We both liked what we had. The beer had variety and quality. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, which is always a plus in a place with craft beer. After we had ordered, another server came by to make sure we had been taken care of. We said someone was helping and she said, "We cover for each other all the time." I loved the attitude. All in all, we had a terrific evening.

The food is great! The beer is fine. The service... The service leaves much to be desired.

I had my birthday recently here! Highly recommend it. It has a large area for big parties, decent beer selection, and a great food menu. Family friendly too! The nachos are to die for (one of the best quesos I’ve ever had here).

Incredible value for money. Local friend recommended this place while I was here on business and it was a great experience. Large beer selection with some interesting varieties (The Honey Ginger beer is incredible). The appetizer green chile quesadilla is huge and a steal for $9. Had a great time at dinner, only complaint is the wait-staff checked on us infrequently and I had to go to the bar for the check. Totally recommend for any craft beer fan.

1st time visiting Rio Bravo Brewery. Great atmosphere inside. Indoor outdoor patio area, nice outdoor area for sitting space for kids to play and a stage. Live music... Food is great as well as the beers. Plenty to choose from. Only draw back to this place is the service. Will definitely go back..

Last two times we were here we ordered guacamole with the chips and it was well beyond its prime - actually brownish in color. My husband ordered the smoked brisket and it was tough and fatty. I was also sad to learn that they are dropping their black bean burger from the menu, leaving only a couple of choices for a vegetarian. A portobello burger is not a good alternative to a black bean burger. The fried avocados are tasty, but so small you’d have to order six of them to feel full. They don’t come with any sides and don’t offer any, such as black beans, pinto beans or rice, to make a meal rather than a snack. Many restaurants have wonderful choices for vegetarians. Rio Bravo should broaden its horizons and offer more creative choices. Learning of the owner's attitude toward minimum wage has me looking for an alternative to my favorite beer. ABQ has many breweries from which to choose, so the search is on for a replacement!

Huge brewery, lots of seats, indoor and outdoor seating, excellent service. Water station. Nicely decorated. Flights with 4 or 5 beers, your choice. Food and non alcoholic drinks available.

Really terrible customer service. This is the first time me and my friends came here and we were never greeted or welcomed, waited for 10 mins before getting any type of acknowledgement, and the staff was just flat rude. I had a coupon for donationing blood for a free pint and the manager refused to honor it. Food and drinks came out inconsistent. I saw a couple at the bar arguing with the manager about undercook chicken, when the couple simply asked for 20% off their tab, the manager refused, even though the chicken looked terrible. The manager should be corrected on how to handle upset customers. And then retrain his staff on better customer service.

4 star on Beer and 2 on food. Burger is basically burnt very dry and you need to have the good beer to wash it down.

This is such a great place. Spread out and relaxing. Really good selection of ales, beer, ciders and such. I've seen great shows here and they are very welcoming to me and my bird. We are enjoying the various events hosted by Rio Bravo. We are looking forward to more to come.

The Reuben sandwich is one of the best I have ever had I highly recommend I love Ruben's and anybody that likes Rubens should definitely try this one

Very clean and modern environment with chill atmosphere. Plenty of selection of beers for all tastes, and the food was what surprised the most. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Would recommend!

The summer honey is the best. Avacado tacos and Hawaiian hot wings are delicious 😋

1st time here and let me tell ya, the Black Sparrow was so damn good, a rum barrel aged stout....perfection in a glass! I hope this stays a while as I'll be back just for this.

Had the Bravo Burger which was fantastic. The chile and bbq sauce had a nice spicy tang. And the ipa I got was also very delicious

Denise Baker, co-owner, has publicly released that her employees should not be given a living wage. Guess she prefers death wage.

I used to come here on occassion, but today on the news a co-owner Denise Baker said that she shouldn’t have to pay her employees a living wage. Apparently they are supposed to starve and not live while they build this skillset that earns more money. I can’t support a business owner who doesn’t support this community.

The co-owner is either a liar or just plain ignorant on the nation's history. President Franklin D Roosevelt established the federal minimum wage specifically to prevent businesses like her's from paying starvation wages. DO BETTER

Love this place! Their amber is actually an ESB which is my fave beer style :) Food is excellent and reasonably priced and in the warmer months there's a big ol' biergarten. Highly recommend!

Terrible service for takeout. Ruined our nachos and gave us blue cheese when we asked for ranch in our wings. Top it off that it spilled all over our wings making them inedible for us. Went back today with a credit for our previous bad service and had to wait an hour because they never even sent the order to the kitchen. Never coming back here again.

I met with an old friend here. The beer was top notch, (I love that I live in a city with such a vibrant beer community) the food was good, the staff were friendly, attentive, and nice. Overall a great experience. Thumbs up to Rio Bravo.

The service is excellent and so are the beers. Really enjoyed the the watermelon gose!

What a great disappointment. Was there for 30 minutes until another customer got up to tell the server that we were waiting for service. The server goes and drops the menus, never returns total time 47 minutes. We went there for the atmosphere and great customer service. All it takes is a little acknowledgment and communication.

Edit: wait staff have become incredibly bad. They are haughty and confrontational. I honestly do not trust them to not spit in my food. Do not go here. I like this place a lot, but there's a reason why i have it a 3/5. Their food and beer is great. Plenty of space. Sometimes awesome events. That being said, I've had multiple times that they just forgot about us, leaving my table alone for half an hour. Worst was that they've sometimes play music so intolerably loud that i had ringing in my ears. We couldn't talk whatsoever

We went for the Sunday afternoon live music with a local band. Great vibe, awesome staff. Some vegan options: black bean burger with no ranch. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich with applesauce (from kids menu but they let an adult order it).
