Excellent breakfast spot! Delicious!!

Awesome everything. Really. Lots of choices too. Easy to find something to try.

Great place great food. Pancakes have a good flavor (still searching for pancakes like the old MOOSE CAFE in downtown Heyward, yet to find...). We have a service dog that they allowed without question. Very helpful staff and friendly.

Been here multiple times over the years. It is awesome food. They are very busy most of the time so be prepared to wait. Staff is good and atmosphere is OK but that isn't why you come.

This restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants when we are up in the Hayward Wisconsin area. Great portions and good food.

We waited over an hour for our food. The staff didn't offer refills , and did not attend to our table. Would not recommend.

Very busy stormy day and owner lost her temper with customers who were inside becuz of rain, waiting for table basically said get out go sit in your cars. Food was delicious and wait staff was superb

Group of 4, waited 45+ mins while watching larger groups than ours who arrived afterwards get seated before us. Finally went to inquire at hostess stand and was told they skipped us....We've been here in the past when it wasn't busy and had no issues, but it seems that they're too disorganized and not trained/prepared for larger crowds. Just seemed chaotic with people running around doing everything at once, rather than people having specific jobs. If we had waited and eaten there, probably would have been a 2.5+ hour experience....wouldn't recommend. Went to the Hayward Family Restaurant instead and were in and out in 30mins with full stomachs and great service.

During the week of the 4th, even with a full staff, Robin's Nest has a significant wait mid-morning. Groups of one or two have the shortest wait. The service is good, and they're doing their best.

Local recommended here for breakfast, the food was very tasteful and large portions for a very fair price! Coffee was freshly brewed and we were able to get a cup to go! Our service was on point except we had a lot of food left over and our waitress just took the food and we informed her we’d like a box and she kind of laughed and went and got us one.. felt slightly judged.. P.s. I got the strawberry cheesecake stuffed sourdough French toast and ooooo mama was it a waterfall out of my mouth!

This place is awesome. A real Northwoods gem. . I recommend Robin's nest to all. The front of the house staff was great and the kitchen did not disappoint. Our meal was great we will be back again and again.

I had breakfast. My only complaint was that the hashbrowns were a bit greasy and lacked flavor. I don't think they were cooked in butter. Butter just adds good flavor to hashbrowns. Otherwise the eggs and bacon were good. My waitress was not very attentive, but the other waitress who has worked there a long time was friendly and attentive even though she was not my server. I wanted my tip to go to her, but their system is not set up like that.

This place gets five stars because the food was amazing. Large portions, great flavor, and great for leftovers. The only thing I have to critique was that the hollandaise was broken. The atmosphere is humble and the staff are beyond stressed but that's only because people know how great the food is. We will be back!

I go to Robin's Nest every time I am in Hayward. They have awesome breakfast and the people there are great. Be prepared, the pancakes are huge. The Irish Benedict is great... everything is great. You will not be disappointed.

This is Hayward's best kept secret breakfast cafe. People from all over the country who vacation in the Northwoods stop in year after year. The service is top notch. The cooks are the best. Crepes are giant! Try the Key Lime. You won't be disappointed. But, come early if you don't want to wait because if you come around 11 am expect to wait. I waited with my son for about an hour. The food was worth the wait. Don't forget to tip the wait staff as they appreciate it.

Delicious food, large portions. Their cajun potatoes were fantastic, and the plate sized pancakes were a crowd pleaser. I opted for a buffalo chicken omelet and it came with a choice of potatoes and bread or pancakes- tons of food for the price. We had about a 20-30 minute wait late morning, but once our food order was in it came out pretty quickly. Our server was nice and made sure our drinks stayed full. Would definitely return on our next visit to the area.

There are so many people working there, but the service is horrible. Also, seems like the employees can go outside anytime. I bet the health dept. would like know a dog was brought in to the restaurant. Not worth the price.

On a Saturday morning we had a bit of a wait to get a table. But it was well worth the wait. The food was delicious- everyone was happy with what they ordered. Three of us ordered crepes and they were all delicious! The service was excellent as well.

First time at Robin's Nest... Will definitely be back. The food was amazing. The staff was very nice. The only reason I gave service 4 out of 5 stars, was the service was a little slow. That being said, they seemed to be short wait staff... All in all a good experience. 👍

My wife and I were in the Hayward area for an extended weekend stay visiting from Madison WI. When looking up places to eat on our way out of town, I found the Robin’s Nest online. The profile picture on Facebook looked quaint to me and I read a recent post about jalapeño cream cheese blintzes which struck me as an intriguing dish, so we decided to check it out. When we arrived at the restaurant, the place was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. And we were able to get a table without waiting long. When we looked at the menu several dishes jumped out at me, so I ordered both the Blintzes and the Key Lime Crepes because I couldn’t decide. I did not regret ordering both dishes as both dishes were incredible. I highly recommend anyone traveling in the area check them out as it beat all the other places we tried within the town of Hayward. If we have a reason to come back to the area, I would eat there again.

There was so much on the menu I wanted to try. We had a wonderful experience! Biscuits and gravy are really good, would absolutely recommend the fries, amazing with salt and pepper. It's a busy place for a reason. Expect to wait in the busy season, but it's worth it.

We love going here as a family at least once each time we are nearby. Its great food for our kids and for us.

Went there on a Tuesday morning for breakfast. There were only two servers but they hustled and no one had to wait very long to get food. You could not order hash browns due to some machines being down but they had provided a hash brown bake as an option. Everything was very tasty!

My family and I had an awesome breakfast here. The quesadillas were great, the hash browns, the cajun potatoes, the cajun breakfast scramble was absolutely delicious. Totally worth the wait here!

Had a Covid problem this week. Every other time I eaten here. It was very good.

The waitress we had was particularly rude. She only let us order our drinks first, even though we were ready to order. She had us hand our hot plates down to one another. We could hear her griping to the kitchen about how unhappy she was, this particular day, about having to come into work. I felt terrible for the other waitress because ours wouldn't let her take any large groups! Top top it off, the restroom area was filthy.

They had a special drink for Mother's Day. They had a new check in process which worked out nice for us. We were learning how it works right along side the staff. The food was AMAZING as always. 👍
