Went to Rockmill Brewery a week ago. Tried a few of the local made taps and they were pretty tasty. Service was solid. Overall a pretty good vibe. I also attended a wedding last year at the venue part of Rockmill. Very classy and relaxed setting and the aesthetic was pretty cool. Highly recommended.

We recently attended a wedding there, and wow, what a venue! Everyone there was delighted, the Rockmill Beer and Seltzer there was awesome. We decided to go back to just chill because the surroundings are so amazing. The new owners, Austin and Taylor are bringing in different food trucks every day, what we had was delicious and very affordable! You can hang out in the upscale tasting room, or enjoy outside seating with tons of space. If you like to hike a little, you can walk down to the pond and see the chapel where weddings are held, or walk down to the the headwaters of the Hocking River, which actually feels a little bit like going to Hocking Hills! We will be returning as regulars for sure! This is now become one of our favorite places. Recommend 100%!

Rockmill Brewery is a fantastic place to bring family and friends for fun, drinks, food trucks and wine tasting. The pub, farmhouse, chapel and pond are beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed and family oriented. The beer is delicious and service is top notch. I highly recommend Rockmill Brewery.

Small eating area. A little pricey

The atmosphere has changed completely since the new owners have taken over. The music is horrible, and it just doesn't have the inviting feel that it once had. I hope things change.

This used to be our favorite brewery by far. Beautiful property and atmosphere and great beers. We moved away 2.5 years ago and came back for a visit, and it’s kind of a shame what it’s become since they sold it. The old farmhouse isn’t open anymore, there’s no food (there was a food truck but their ovens were broken, so they only had salad and ice cream) and they just have a handful of their own beers. It was a beautiful fall night and there were maybe 20 people there total. It used to always be crowded and lively. I hope the new owners realize what made Rockmill special and go back to that.

They are slowly making an effort to bounce back. Seems it's under new ownership & hopefully it will come back strong. I do hope they start offering things like coffee & hot chocolate for those who don't drink alcohol.

Great variety of brews and wine. We instantly felt at home in the upscale country ambience. The bar, outside seating areas and expansive grounds were well maintained and welcoming. Owners were extra friendly, and prices were quite reasonable. We will visit again very soon!!

Very nice place with tasty craft beer. I had the White Ale. Beautiful wood tables with cabin feel. Outside patio area was great! Owners very friendly.

Small and quiet. Very relaxing. No food to order, but misc bagged snacks. Like chips and pretzels. Our lager was very good with no bitter bite. We stopped after seeing a covered bridge next to this road zone. That is a nice go see view. Nice parking area and room to move. Clean bathrooms 🚻 This is an all ground level facility.

Beautiful spot. We made a quick stop on our way to Hocking hills. Perfect spot to stretch, let the dog and kids run around and picked up some yummy beer. Lots of delicious choices. I would love to return and hang outside for the music by the lake.

What a cool place to sit by the fire and have a beer! We ventured to Rockmill on our way to a Lancaster basketball game. The beers were delicious and a small cozy taproom and outdoor patio. I had the Saison Noir which was a delicious Stout. My husband liked the Pilsner and you can buy 6 packs of cans for $10. I bought the Derby Day IPA to take with me and it was delicious as well. Bring your own food or snacks as the kitchen is closed. It was a former stagecoach sight and dogs and kids are welcome.

Really nice country brewery. They focus more on Belgian styles but also feature IPAs and other styles. I came here for the Belgian brews, of which they had several, some barrel-aged. I found that the quality varied but there was at least one that was excellent. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating in beautiful surroundings. There is a field and a pond on the property. It is beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely come back.

Really enjoyed our time here! A gem in the outskirts of Columbus with modern design and plenty of space for whatever you’re feeling. Also really liked their beer!! Had the food truck for pizzas and they were great

They don't have food right now. Be aware. Edit: New brew master? Beer isn't as good. First Review: Definitely worth the drive from Columbus! It’s a beautiful location hidden away on 23 acres. Their beers are all incredible. The food is also stellar. Take a pair of shoes and walk around down to the lake!

Great brewery in a beautiful setting. Family and dog friendly. They specialize in saisons but do have a few other styles available. But you should definitely try a saison even if you don't generally like them because they're well done here.

Very nice place, friendly staff, tasty beers. I love being able to wander around the property when the weather is nice. The pond is a perfect place to sit and draw on beautiful days!

Had a delightful experience at Rockmill. The hostess was polite and friendly and helped us find a seat on the beautiful patio space. The servers were quick and attentive. I appreciate that they were able to offer recommendations and were knowledgeable about the beer. We ended up at the bar for a couple samples before making a to-do purchase. Again, the folks behind the bar were helpful, friendly, and guided us through our beers. We also found the prices on the beers to be very reasonable; including the bottles. Cannot wait to come back, especially in warmer weather.

Try the wood fired spiced nuts when you come. They’re so good. I told them they should sell wings spiced and fired the same way, no need for sauce just dry and spiced/rubbed the same way. Good beer too, will definitely be back!

Wife & I just drove over a 1/2 hour…the receptionist wouldn’t sit us without a reservation or offer a seat at the bar.

Petite saison was much more of an ipa than a saison, not good. Lite lager was decent and cerise sour was nice and lite. Pepperoni pizza was good and came out fast. Most of the service was not good. Nice outdoor area and a fire was started on request.

We love Rockmill Brewery!! As wedding photographers, good venue spaces are key to any wedding. Rockmill Brewery totally rocks when it comes to having an awesome wedding venue!

Great brewery close to Columbus. Newly remodeled, nice bar and tasting room. Plenty of new IPAs and other beers that were not on website. Each time I come down here, they have something new. Reminds me of local DC area brewery Blue Jacket Brewery by Navy Yard where they are not afraid of experimentation.. Yes, “Zest Experimental IPA “ is on the menu.. Highly recommend.. they have Food Truck also.!

Attended an event in their outdoor space - staff is very friendly/accommodating. Seems to be a place regulars come to often. I don't drink alcohol, but everyone that I heard commenting on the brewery's offerings had positive things to say. The food was good, we got an assortment of pizzas. The location is gorgeous, especially in an Ohio autumn.

It was our first visit with a group of 9 to celebrate a birthday. Service was great, they let us bring in birthday cupcakes! The weather was great so enjoyed all the outdoor seating. The beer was good with a huge selection, so something for everyone. We didn't try the wine. We'll be back!

In a perfect world, this is how every micro-brewery would look and feel. Set into the countryside, near flowing water and on a beautiful road, Rockmill is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Craft beers, excellent pizza, sandwiches, and the apple cake we had was brilliant. Sadly we get to Ohio only every other year.

Very unique place. Loved the atmosphere and the wooden fire pizza was fantastic. Only down fall was the lemon raspberry seltzer. I figured it would be similar to a white claw or truly but it was not even comparable. The flavor was more beer like. Hard to really describe it. Was drinkable just not to my preference liking.

Do not mistake the 4 stars as a knock, it is more an expectation that a wonderful place can be just a bit better. The setting is worth the drive and the variety of brews make it worth coming again and again. The food, however, needs a bit of work. We had the cheese plate but no utensils to divide the stuff so we were fumbling with hands... The pizza was tasty but the crust burnt to ensure it was cooked. Little dings, but you will surely enjoy the visit!

I've traveled extensively for work, and always explore breweries and restaurants. Rockmill is a hidden gem. World class beers and the most beautiful location you could imagine. So thankful this place exists here in Ohio. Would recommend it as a destination to anyone visiting or passing through Ohio. The saison is up there with the best Belgians (Fantom, etc).

The atmosphere us beautiful! We ordered this cheese plate, $20.00. The presentation was horrible, looks like they broke pieces of the cheese off and dropped it. The meat was one piece of each, so couldn't really share. Staff was friendly.

it was awesome! food was great, we even saw some good live music while we were hanging at the pond! Caught a few fish as well, along with the great selection of beers we will definitely be back

Great place, but the food... needs work. Pizzas are made from quality ingredients, but fall down on the follow through. The last one we got had crust that was burned black on one half, but doughy inside. Not a figure of speech; the inside wasn't crust, it was still dough. It was a carry out, so I couldn't really send it back. Get a handle on this RMB. I want to give you 5 stars.

Great beer, scenery, and food. Don’t bother making a reservation, it’s all open seating. Seemed understaffed, they were pretty busy on a Thursday. The two people working did their best to keep up.

Wow! What a beautiful setting! They are dog friendly too! Beers are amazing, and they have something for everyone's taste buds. We also had their popcorn popped in duck fat with sea salt! It was killer!

Get away from the city and enjoy this gem! They've consistently had AMAZING beer ever since they opened and your free to to roam the beautiful property. Plus, the owner is a great guy and puts on great local music showcases. We would have gotten married here if they could have accommodated our giant guestlist!

Lovely place to grab a beer, eat some pizza, hike around the ground. Great during fall days with the out side fireplaces. Highly recommend if you want to get out of Columbus for awhile.

Here now. 42 minutes in the farmhouse before even having drinks ordered. Didn't have full beer menu at farmhouse (then why display the menu). Now 25 minutes waiting to order food. . Really regretting choosing this She just took out food order. Had to text it to the kitchen?!?!

Love this brewery! They definitely specialize in Belgians, but have many other kinds of beers. The dubbel and rugged expanse stout are very good. For me though, the selling point of this brewery is the location. The new restaurant area is beautifully rustic with great pizza and sammies, but the property the brewery sits on is perfect. Great place to spend an afternoon in the spring, summer & fall. Make sure to leave a few minutes to walk down to the chapel, stream and pond to check it out. The old farmhouse where they host events has charming nooks and crannies. Perfect for curious guests.

Haven't been here in a couple years. The new tap room with patio is amazing! This place has always been a beautiful gem, and the additions are like a gorgeous ring to hold the gem. I got the Ribeye pizza and duck fat popcorn from the new food menu. It came out quick, hot, and DELICIOUS. Saison and farmhouse are not my favorite styles of beer, but Rockmill is one brewery I enjoy them from. Today I had the Caamp IPA and the Vanilla Stout, both were amazing. The IPA was very distinctive, with notes of lemongrass I usually find only in pilsners. The Stout was heavy, warming (8% abv) with great roasty flavors and sweet, smooth vanilla. Staff was all very kind and friendly, helping me get in and out in the quickly. I'll be back soon for sure!
