Romano's Macaroni Grill - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

We have dined here in the past and the service and food were above average. This time however was a different story. We should have known better when we pulled into the lot and there was just one other car and a giant “yes we are open sign”. We entered and waited for close to five minutes before anyone (except the cooks) could be seen. The gentleman was vey nice however he was the sole staff that we saw on our visit. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had the butternut squash tortellini and we both had the salad. The salad was ok you could tell the greens were a tad old and the salad dressing was so spicy that neither myself or my wife could eat it. In fact it shocked our tastebuds ( numbed them). The main courses were unremarkable, not good but not bad, neither of us finished. We wanted a Chianti or Sangiovese to go with dinner but they only had a Romano Red. It was like eating in a business ready to go under. We will not be returning… and I would not recommend.

We had a very large party in their private room in the back of the restaurant to celebrate a coworker retirement and I was really impressed with the great service and atmosphere. Severely disappointed in this place. It used to be great back in the day. Went here tonight with a friend and had a horrible experience. Upon being seat, our server Karla barely spoke any English and she always would look at us confused like she didn’t understand what we were saying which was frustrating. I asked for the unlimited soup and salad which I assumed came out before my meal, which I was wrong. Asked her, and she brought me my soup which looked like it had been sitting for a long time as it developed a film over the top of it. Then I get my pasta and it was soaking in olive oil, which was not the sauce I asked for. I tell her, and she proceeds to tell me it’s not her fault. Not bad, though parking is a bit dodgy with construction nearby. Food was fine, but it wasn't amazing or quite worth the price. Don't recommend the Lobster Bisque.
