Ordered from Uber eats. Chicken Shawarma was dry and cold. Didn’t give me Hummus when it came with the plate. Pita bread is nasty

Although price would increase with larger portions, their lamb shank would not have been big enough to satiate a full-grown-adult dinner. Mine was more like the size of a leg from a rotisserie chicken, still super flavorful. Refined details such as a beautiful updated bar and modern lighting will keep me coming back. Roman's is really good at what they do. I gnawed on that lamb shank for awhile, so satiating and carnal. Portion size is pertinent, however.

I love Romans. They are my favorite Greek place in Baton Rouge. I got the chicken shawarma plate with eggplant moussaka instead of salad, Lebanese Tea, and Tiramisu for desert. It was delicious. I love their bread. It's a different kind of pita. It's almost like Naan bread... Anyway, I, of course, will be returning.

I picked up 100 grapeleaves Easter Saturday for Sunday. They looked beautiful. But when you bit into them, there was so much red pepper or chili powder 33 of us couldn't eat it. The same with the baked kibbee I had the night before. The pepper was so strong, my 88 yr old mother had a reaction to the seasoning. We threw away about 170 .00 worth of food. When I called on Tues the Manager was rude. Kept saying "yeah yeah yeah." Wouldn't hardly let me speak. I finally hung up. My parents are 1st generation Lebanese/Syrian. We know our grapeleaves. This was terrible. Never Again.

Always fresh always right, keep up the good work, I've been eating from here for almost 15 years and it is always great!

Best Greek and Lebanese food in Baton Rouge by a long shot

Everytime we have gone we have had great service. We really enjoy eating at Romans. The meat musaka, the humus, and the rice is the best I've had at any other Greek & Lebanese restraunt! Great job guys..🤗

Food was amazing!! The restaurant has a strange layout and I could smell fish the entire time I was eating, but other than that it was a great experience. Our server was fantastic and so SO accommodating. I would definitely eat here again.

The food and atmosphere are great! Our server, Dana, was incredible!!! She was kind, caring and super efficient!!! She made sure all of her tables were taken care of with the utmost efficiency! Roman's Cafe is a hidden gem! Their Greek and Lebanese cuisine is a flavorful fusion of cultures. The gyro bowl , kobab and shawarma are mouthwatering. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. A must-visit for delicious and authentic eats in Baton Rouge!

take outs are a better experience because the restaurant is completely empty most times so it's awkward to sit in.

First time here, got a takeout plate but decided to eat inside I was so hungry, pita was amazing, gyro plate was the best I’ve ever had. I’m coming back for sure. Beautiful restaurant despite it looking like a hole in the wall from the outside. 11/10

The pita bread was awesome!! And the hummus was really good. The chicken swarma plate was good too! I really enjoyed the rice pilaf! Also, the restaurant is so cute!!

Mediocre at best. Pita was hard and crispy. The combination sharwarma chicken was dried out and hard although the beef was tender. Hummus and sauce was very good and the salad was soggy greens

Great atmosphere. Delicious and fresh food. I had the beef kabob meal. The meat was so tender, I used a butter knife to cut it! You will be glad you chose Romans!

I was in town for work and wanted some Greek food. Glad I came to this place, it was really good! I got the chicken and beef shawarma. The portions and the price I thought was really fair, and the flavors of the food was amazing and the pita was warm, fresh, and soft. 12/10 must recommend this place.

I’ve visited the restaurant twice in the afternoon the hummus was great but the shrimp pizza I will never order again portion size small. The lady taking my order very unpleasant. So revisit at night; Oh my goodness what an experience I was not expecting. I sitting at the counter viewing the menu to try something new, SERVER are you ready to order. I stated I’m viewing the menu this is his 3rd time asking within 5 MINUTES. There is no one in line four customers in the entire restaurant. He keep my change without my permission. Pita bread was BURNT WHICH I’ve never experience anywhere. I saw the guy hold the bread said something to the older guy and he just nodded his ahead it’s ok. Not realizing that’s my bread. PORTION SIZE SMALL; TREATMENT OF SERVICE AGAIN NOT FRIENDLY TOO SOME; BUT OTHER GUESTS FRIENDLY AS CAN BE.

Three things that are hands-down the best in town are the hummus, shawarma, and pita. Always freshly made and very fast and attentive service for lunch.

The food is good but there’s not enough servers and the portions are too small. I payed $21 for a combo plate they didn’t had a lead for my coke and the portion was very small.

Food was not fresh! Chicken tasted like leather and the gyro was extremely overcooked!

Roman personally noticed that my wife was having trouble choosing between dinners on the menu, and offered to make a plate of just the items she wanted. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and quite obviously gourmet. We were both surprised at the quality of our food, and the speed at which it was served. The staff are top notch, and the atmosphere of the restaurant achieves a sense of modernity, without compromising on classical Greek aesthetics and style, which is reflected exactly by the cuisine. I had the Grape Leaves and hummus with tzatziki, and I absolutely reccomend it. If romans is out of your way, I still advise you to take the extra time to try them. Truly one of, if not the best quality Greek you can find in Baton Rouge.

This is our go-to spot for beef kabobs in Baton Rouge. And their pita bread is second to none. They toast, oil and season them. Hard to stop eating them to be honest.

I have eaten at A TON of Greek places over the years. This place outdoes them all. The Chicken shawarma salad is delectable. It can easily feed 2 people. The service is also excellent. The waitress remembered my sister and asked if she wanted her usual. That is a good waitress.

No coffee or hot drinks . They bathroom it's on poor conditions . Food it's OK

GREAT food, especially when you physically dine at the restaurant. The chicken and rice is excellent, and so is the bread that comes with it. One of the only complaints I have is the lack of shrimp that comes with the shrimp plate, especially for the price of it. Also, when I ordered to go, my bread was hard. But overall, it's some of the best Greek food in BR!

The best Greek & Lebanese in Baton Rouge!

I met friends here for a birthday celebration, and the food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their food, especially me. I got the vegetarian plate. There are many selections to choose your 5 favorites from, and each one was so outstanding! I enjoyed the spices and olive oil while we waited for our food to be served, too. Good, friendly service to boot. I love this place!

Great food at fair prices. I recommend the combination shwarma plates but the lamb is great too. Pita bread is served hot with every meal to dip in their awesome hummus.

This establishment has great chicken shawarma salads and the portions size for the price is great. The Lebanese Tea is deliciously refreshing and the salad dressing is zesty and offers a great compliment to the meal. The presentation is always beautiful and the leaves always fresh. The chicken is savory and cooked to chef's perfection. I rate this 4-star because customer service is inconsistent and not much enthusiasm or motivation in the atmosphere. Also, the pita bread is inconsistent. Some days they serve the bread warm with a house blend on top of it and the next you get just regular slices. It would be great if there were an option for the way you wanted the bread. Sometimes the bread is extra firm even though they say they bake it fresh daily at the Bluebonnet location. Overall, great taste and amount. One salad usually feeds my fiance and myself, we just order extra pita and drink some of that refreshing tea! Say what you want, I usually can't even do dessert because the salad I shared was so filling.

The people that work there are very friendly. The menus are easy. It is a nice and quiet, intimate place, with cute decor. I think this would be a great place for a lunch date! Some of the menu is in Greek and some is in English. Food was good but ordering extra food because you don't realize it's coming with your platter is annoying.

We really enjoyed our lunch there. I ordered a chicken bowl, which was delicious. The Greek peta bread was mouth watering.

If only I could rate this place 1000 out of 5, the fresh pita bread and all of the amazing food...omg!!! I try to go to Roman's whenever I come to Baton Rouge. I wish my it were a little easier to afford, but it is worth every penny that you pay!!!

Really great food. Deep flavor in the gyro sandwich and GIANT salads. I love the one on government (it has a nicer atmosphere than this one), but this rendition definitely held its own. I will be back

Had breakfast at Roman's last Saturday morning. Got there just before they opened, waiting with the regulars for the door to open. Taylor opened the door and let us in, saying hi by name to the regulars.I had the big breakfast, sausage, two eggs over easy, hash-browns and one pancake. It was all delicious as was the coffee. Taylor did an awesome job tending to everyone's needs. Coffee cup always kept full. Can't wait to try lunch with some co-workers next week.This is a great place to get a tasty breakfast or lunch at a great price

My favorite Greek restaurant in the city. The spinach and artichoke dip is the best and their hummus is amazing! I would eat here every day if I could. They even have multiple locations! All of them are wonderful!

The best chicken shawarma around. Not open on sundays. Small and quiet location not the newest by far but have bee been around for a while. Good food and service from the same operators for years. The price is good for the large servings and some of the best Lebanese tea going. This restaurant has been a staple for my family for years and not stopping now.
