Great food! Unfortunately only take out.

We got an egg salad sandwich, a chicken salad sandwich and blueberry muffin today. All were excellent! I will be back the next time I’m in the area. Thank you!

This is my go to place. Awesome staff. Great customer service, great food, reasonably priced, very clean... Everybody needs to try this place.

A take out sub shop atmosphere with way better food. The daily special is a great value, small sub, soup or salad with chips. The tomato soup is fabulous.

Food is excellent. Meatball subs and stuffed pepper soup are my favorite. Both staff members are very friendly.

They were out of roast beef which was a major bummer, however the guy was very apologetic and super kind. I ended up trying their homemade meatball which he said was his grandmother's recipe. It was very tasty, I will be back for the roast beef though!

Awesome local home cooking in Salem, NH. Everything I have had from herr is delicious. People from my office order from here everyday. Great food! Reasonably priced.

These guys are GREAT. Fresh ingredients, delicious food and super awesome. It's a hidden gem more people need to find. I can't rave enough about their salads and soups and recently just had a sub and it was to die for. I'm so glad I found Rose's Home Cookin'.

This place is excellent. When they say homemade, they mean it. Everything I've eaten there has been excellent.

Visiting for work and this popped up when I searched for places to eat. Ordered a ham and cheese sub, DELICIOUS!! Service was fast and friendly! I highly recommend Roses home cookin' ! If I were staying in the area longer, this would be my go to stop.

Stopped by to try their roast beef, but the owner, Mike, let me know they were out. I was a little surprised to hear that, as I was in before noon. Mike then told me that it was a slow week because of school vacation and that they were closed on the weekends, so he didn't want to cook the roast beef today and have it sit for two days and the serve it on Monday. I told him that I thought this was a great idea not to waste it or disappoint customers. So, I tried a meatball sub instead and was not disappointed. Fresh, homemade meatballs and sauce ... awesome!

Hole in the wall, well not really, it's location in an office townhouse style park made it tough to find. Simple sub shop with a huge selection. The clam chowder was phenomenal and a simple chicken salad sub was great. Sub, soup and two drinks?? 20 bucks? Great spot.

Mike is always friendly when I go in to see him! The best chili and french onion soup around. I highly recommend the chicken salad sub and getting salt and vinegar chips to put in the sub 🤤

I cannot rave enough about Rose's!! We were in town for work and only there M-F. I had researched some places to try out and these guys were on my list. So very glad we tried them the first day and discovered how awesome they are. We seriously went 3 times that week... the 3rd time being on our way out to the airport. Everything was so good! The bread is so soft, fresh, and tasty. I got the Italian two days and it was fantastic. Got the seafood sub once and it was really good. I was a bit sad because I had it on my list to try their in house roast beef sub but it was sold out before we got there. Next time! Bf got a meatball sub and a turkey with bacon. Both so delicious. The chowder is a must have as is their peanut butter cookies and the brownies. Counting down the days until we can visit again and WILL definitely go back. Also, the two gentleman running the place were fantastic. Super friendly service. Made you feel welcome and like family. Gentleman prepping the food would listen to you order so he could start on it immediately and would knock it out with fast service. If a local and haven't been...GO! If a traveler looking for a place to eat...here is the place to put top of your list!

Rose's is fantastic and delicious. I stopped by three times this past week, twice for my work lunch break and once to pick up a sub sandwich on my way out of town, on the road. I had two sub sandwiches with turkey + bacon, and one sandwich with meatballs. The taste was unbelievably good, with very fresh and tasty bread. The staff were friendly and the pricing was good for the amount of food received. Great peanut butter cookies, too. I'll come back here when I am back in town for work.

The food was delicious, and the service was great! Very kind and patient atmosphere. I definitely recommend coming here even if it's a little out of the way!

Stopping by here for a quick lunch was the best idea we've had today. The people here are very friendly and instantly make you feel welcomed. I had the Chicken Ceasar Wrap and it truly was the BEST wrap I've ever had. Definitely will be making it back here. My only regret is not grabbing a homemade brownie.

Daily soups are fantastic! Stuffed pepper is so good. They post soup menu on Facebook most days. Friendly staff.

I have never had a bad meal here. I would recommend the pepper soup. Very quick to get your order and the price isn't bad.

Have you tried the soups? Caprese salad? Maybe a garden salad with tuna… Home cooking at its best and great prices! Everything tastes so fresh! Excellent customer service, you are treated like family (or better) as soon as you walk until you leave.

We went in with very low expectations, but after our interactions with whom I think was the owner, and the taste of the food-- we left there huge fans. After traveling for two weeks, eating out every meal, we were desperate to find something that felt like home made food cooked with love, and Rose's Home Cookin' definitely delivered that! I got the taco salad, which was a large salad with *homemade* chili, some tortilla chips and sour cream. I appreciate that everyone makes chili in their own way, and I love to try it, but I've never *loved* anyone else's chili -- until this one! It was pleasantly sweet, totally different than what I'm used to and It felt like it had simmered for a few hours! My other family members ordered a Chicken Caesar wrap and it also looked great -- they too loved it and said the portion was very big, with chicken that they actually cooked, not "grilled meat " in a bag, delivered ready to eat by a Sysco truck. I wish I had a picture to share, but I don't. We really didn't expect to love it as much as we did. :) If you're in the area or on the fence, just call. Go in. Do it. You won't regret it. I promise. :) If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back!

The shop is clean and inviting. The staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. I love their Daily specials because you get three items for one price. Must come down to try they are open 10am till 2pm M-F so if around the area please drop in. 🙏

Everything I've tried has been excellent. From fresh roast beef subs, homemade clam chowder, freshly baked lasagna, to ziti and meatballs. Nothing from a can, here.

Best place in Salem for some fresh and affordable lunch during the work week, the soups are all awesome!

I have driven by Rose's a few times, so decided to stop in today. I got the meatball sub. It was incredible! My favorite part was the sauce - so flavorful. If you are in the area, or are open to traveling to the area for some good food...check this place out.

I've been getting lunch here for quite a while and Rose's is a great option for lunch (Soups, Salads, & Sandwiches). The food here is always consistent. Sizeable portions and excllent quality. Several homemade offerings I've never had the lasagna but The meatballs are excellent. Ususally a few choices of soups to pick from, all very good, but I think the clam chowder here is the best! Fast prep and staff is alway friendly.

Amazing place to get food. Easily the best place on the street even more than some of the more established places.
